IC: Kildare Offal
Kashyyyk

Kildare paced around his room. His Master had left the Kashyyyk recovery effort to embark on a personal mission. She had said that she would contact him when she arrived at her destination, where ever it was. The only reason Kil worried about her was that the mission wasn’t known to the any of the other Jedi. All other Jedi were out on missions, which is why no one else knew. It was also why Kildare was in charge.

Kil sat with a thump on his cot in the Kashyyyk capital, Rwookrrorro. Quite a handful to say, Kil thought. Since living here his entire life he had learned the Wookiee language, but still struggled with some words. Kil realized he should be making sure things were going alright, and exited his tree quarters.

Kildare breathed in the fresh air around him and began down the steps to the main floor of the tree pathways. When he got to the last step he paused before walking down. He looked around. He wanted to see if anything noticeable was going wrong. He saw nothing and continued out into Rwookrrorro. Kil walked up to a group of Wookiees who were overseeing the reconstruction of a home. He noticed one of them stumble and a bunch of wood start to fall. Kil extended his hand and caught the bundle with the Force.

Kildare continued past this group and made sure everything was running smoothly. As he was walking he helped at random, if he saw it was needed. Kil walked to the end of a walkway and turned to go to the ship docks. He climbed the steps leading up to it and when he arrived he looked up at the sky. Master Blade had told him to expect a Master to come eventually, so he made a point to keep a look out.

Walking up the stairs towards his apartment, he placed some credits in his pocket. Nightshroud approached the door, and tapped in a code, and suddenly the door slid open. As he walked in, he placed the credits on a nearby table, and walked into the other room.

Pouring some water into a glass, Nightshroud walked back into the other room, and sat down on a chair which was directly facing the window. Taking a sip, he raised, and put his legs up on the table. Nightshroud looked out of the window at the sunset, and took another sip.

Finishing the glass, he placed it down on the table. Nightshroud watched as the city continued to move along without worry. He had a slight smile on his face, and then folded his arms.

OOC: Thanks X-T-M for your input as the King, greatly appreciated happy

IC: Mandalore Fett
Hapes Consortium - Royal Palace of Lockhart

The man in the Mandalorian armor walked steadily down the dark, cavernous entrance of the Hapes royal family's floating castle among the clouds of Hapes. Once, years ago, the man had been a Jedi Protector during the Ruusan campaign. That had been before he had been "killed" by the forces of the liberators and paid the price for his crime.

Now he had no name save the one he had adopted for himself - Mandalore Fett. Over the past the thirty years, he'd become the best-known and most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. He was not an Sith bounty hunter, though at times he worked for the Sith. He was not a Guild bounty hunter, though he regularly took Guild commissions and paid dues. No, Mandalore Fett was an independent bounty hunter. He set his own hours, selected his own commissions, and lived by his own rules.

He paused midway down the stairs leading to Lockhart's throne room to survey what lay before him. The huge chamber was light, peaceful, filled with soft music.
Everywhere bodies were standing in his path. Fett's gaze followed the movements of several of the Royal's handmaidens moving to their King and Queen along with the Prince and Princess of Hapes. Mandalore Fett was far too self-disciplined to seek carnal gratification. The joy of the hunt was his sole pleasure, what he lived for. The credits were an extra, a necessary bonus, a means to accomplish his ends, but it was the hunt that nurtured him, kept him strong and self-reliant and focused.

As Fett descended the steps that led into Lockhart's audience chamber, the Royal Family's Twi'lek majordormo, Rikta Gerido, bustled toward the bounty hunter, bowing unctuously and babbling greetings in his fractured Basic. Fett ignored him.

Realizing that he would never be allowed to approach the Royal's carrying his Blaster rifle, Fett carefully laid it down on the bottom step. He was still armed dangerously enough to have killed the Royal's and completely destroyed the audience chamber, and the King and Queen knew that, but the King also knew Fett's reputation for honesty. The King had paid him to come here and speak with him, and it would have been a breach of bounty hunter protocol for Fett to accept such a meeting if he'd had an outstanding bounty on the King's head.

Leaving his blaster rifle on the stairs, Fett strode straight up to the King's dais. The King was reclining above the crowd, so he'd be high enough up to have the best view of the audience chamber.

At a gesture from the King, the band quieted down. Fett stood before the King, and inclined his head slightly. He spoke Basic.
"You sent for me?"

"I did," said King Lockhart. "Bounty hunter, I thank you for coming to see me under these dire times. Your five thousand credits will be deposited before you leave this throne room."
Fett nodded silently.

"Do you you know why I have summoned you here, bounty hunter?"
"I'm assuming it's because you want to post a bounty, so I'll hunt down and kill someone," Fett said. "That's why people contact me."

"No," King Lockhart said. He stared levelly at Fett, obviously getting to the point. "I want to pay you not kill someone."

The macrobinocular viewplate that was built into Fett's Mandalorian helmet included infrared vision, plus motion and sound sensors. The bounty hunter could literally see the King tense, and change color. This is important to him, Fett realized, surprised.

"State your offer," Fett said.
"There is an outstanding bounty of 1 million credits on a human who has proven very useful to me. I wish to pay you 1 million to ignore that bounty until further notice."

Fett had one word for Lockhart. "Who?"

"Cairo Blade. His been of a great help to the Royal family and still does despite what has transpired in the galaxy. I'll pay you to stop hunting him."

Mandalore Fett stood there in silence, thinking hard.
For the first time in years, the bounty hunter was in a quandary, torn between his duty, his need for extra credits, and his own personal desires. King's offer was tempting in many ways. Mandalore Fett's ship, Slave V, had recently been damaged in an asteroid field, and Fett needed some rather expensive repairs to get the weapons systems back up to full capability.

On the other hand, he'd been looking forward to bringing Blade in for a longtime, ever since Ruusan. Fett couldn't allow the former-Jedi turned Sithlord get the best of him and live........

On the other hand, just recently, The Boss had contacted Fett in an interstellar holo-communication, and told him that he was no longer willing to pay top credits for Blade. Instead, he wanted a priority live delivery bounty on a Corellian man, known as Outrider. He'd raised the amount, too. The bounty on him was two million credits. And the crimelord had reduced the bounty on Blade to five hundred thousand credits, disintegration now permitted.

Five hundred thousand credits was the biggest bounty currently on Mandalore Fett's list. He'd immediately begun searching for this man named Outrider, whom The Boss had described as being a smuggler of sorts and had ties with the Jedi.

Fett had checked his sources, and traced the man to Ruusan, then to one of the Outer Rim sectors, but then he'd dropped out of sight completely until The Boss provided him with one link to Outrider's whereabouts while it didn't give him his prey, he acquired some leverage which resides in his craft.

But........Fett hated the thought of not bringing in Blade to face a humiliating, painful end at the hands of The Boss. Fett had tortured captives, when necessary, to obtain information. He didn't take pleasure in it---- or in their deaths, when that was the bounty required. But for Cairo Blade, he was willing to make an exception.....

"Well?" Lockhart's deep voice boomed, startling Fett out of his reflections. "What do you say, bounty hunter?"

Mandalore Fett thought fast, and finally arrived at a solution that was, he felt, the best under the circumstances. It allowed him to maintain his integrity as a bounty hunter, while also allowing him to do the practical thing.

"Very well," he said. "I'll take the 1 million."
Boss wants me to pursue Outrider as a priority anyway. He told himself, so I'll be fulfilling the client's wish. And the bounty on the Outrider man is 2 million, so when I've brought him in, I'll send Lockhart back his 1 million, then hunt and kill Blade. Honor is satisfied, I'll have fulfilled my commissions, and gotten the chance to see Blade die.

It was a good compromise, Fett decided. Everyone would be pleased. Simple and profitable. Fett was satisfied.

"Very well," Lockhart boomed, obviously pleased. He made a note on a palm-sized datapad. "A total of three-hundred thousand credits has just been added to your account."

Fett inclined his head in that not-quite bow. "I'll show myself out," he said.

Courascant - Jedi Temple

Vandormir has been watching the Jedi Order for months now, preying on any "Padawan" who went out alone, little by little he has been destroying the Jedi's future when he saw him, the boy of 13 just now becoming a padawan, he was about to spring his death trap when he felt another life force something much stronger, in walked a large, human, jedi master looking old and decrepid. He decided to sping next here, but he would have to wait a little while as it seemed that the Padawan was reaching for something, something that ignited as the blade flew into the master jedi's chest.

Fleeting up to the boy Vandormir quickly grabs the saber, flings him onto his back to await his hellish demiss.
"Wh-What are you going to do with me." The boy asked scarred "I am nothing but a sith just like you, see i killed my master."
"Name?" Vandormir said in his hissing way
"Lu-Lucky Lawl."Lawl said
Vandormir decided to finish the the master off with a quick and deceisive death field only to find that the master had gone leaving a blood trail into the temple.
"He has left to turn on the alarm, but as for me what are you going to do with me?" Lawl said

Vandormir walked along some of the higher side grails carrying Lawl in one hand down to the Interplanetary Space shuttle. He felt a life force not far from here and he desperetly needed to feed on someones force energy.Quickly he looked up seeing a man set down his glass and just watch the city, a perfect target, he threw down the boy and lept up into the complexe building through the window.

Whilst placing his glass down upon the table, he folded his arms. Watching the city, a smile made its way across his face. Suddenly from the corner of Nightshroud's eye, he saw a man jump up from a nearby platform, and up towards the Balcony of his apartment.

Watching as this suspected force-user landed upon the platform, Nightshroud quickly rolled towards his Triple-Barrel Blaster, arming himself, and aimed at the male through the door.

"...What is you're business here?"

Having his finger firmly on the trigger, he awaited the male's answer.

Within Hapes Cluster en-route to the Planet of Hapes

"Sir, we have arrived within Hapes Cluster making final approach vector to planet of Hapes." The pilot said over his shoulder as the approaching figure behind came to the light.

"Excellent, keep on course, while I initiate phase two," The Boss said as he tapped the shoulder of the pilot.

Bringing out his miniature communicator as he was making his way to the rear of the shuttle.

"Send them in," The Boss said into his communicator.

The Boss looked at the capsule which the body of Jasmine Blade resided and placed his hand on the cover.

"Soon, very soon young one, everything will be ready," He spoke to himself and turned and headed back to the cockpit and sat in the co-pilots chair and looked out of the viewscreen as he saw the approaching planet of Hapes and also a squadron of Modified Olanji/Charubah Miy'til Starfighter's which are the center of many technological secrets the Hapans care not to share with the outside Galaxy.

"You will not come any closer along your present course, unknown shuttle." The voice bursted into the cockpit and as the leader of the squadron just finished his sentence, from the west of the viewscreen, a whole bunch of ships of various sizes and class along with hundreds upon hundreds of starfighters with them heading straight for the planet.

"I think you may have to go warn those unknowns as well, wing commander," The Boss said amusingly with a smirk on his face.

"Ah...oh....dammit! We'll do with you later, mister. Miy'til's 2 and 3, come with me and inform the Hapan defense that we are being attacked by armed unknowns!" As the transmission ended.

"Proceed on course, pilot," The Boss commented.

"Yes sir!" The pilot responded.

"And make for the Lookout before proceeding to the Royal Palace." The Boss relaxed into his chair and observed the "ambush" attack on the planet as they were making into the atmosphere and heading through the thick white clouds until a familiar floating spire appeared into the distance and could see the ships of the Hapeans rushing to space as well as capital ships descending from space into the upper stratosphere of the planet.

"We have arrived at the Heavenly Lookout, sir."

"Excellent, be ready for a quick take off, as this shouldn't be long." The Boss said as he made his way to the ramp at the rear of the shuttle.

"Will do, sir!"

The Boss made his way with the floating capsule following suit down the ramp and was welcomed by the caretaker, Mr.Zee.

"Ahh, Master Zee, its been too long since I last saw you, I see you have kept this place as immaculate and beautiful as ever." The Boss commented.

"You have no right to be here, Lotus." Mr.Zee said through gritted teeth.

"The feeling is mutual," The Boss lifted a finger and lifted the stubby caretaker and launched him towards the building against the wall with a loud thud and held him there as he made his way into the palace.

"Thank you for the warm welcome Master Zee, I think i can find myself around to the Chamber of Light thank you, hehehe....." His laugh echoing within the halls of the palace.

"Forg....ive....me.....Mara..." Mr.Zee said as he fell to the white tiled floor and into unconsciousness.

IC: The Guardian of Light Masamune
Kashyyyk

"Kashyyyk, sir," The ensign said to the standing Masamune.

Masamune nodded and looked out the view port on the bridge with his blade on his shoulder.

The planet rose into view, whitecapped, otherwise green and blue. dozens of huge vessels hung in orbit, including the perforated hulks of several Sith warships. Ferries and drop ships could be seen emerging from and disappearing into Kashyyyk's high-stacked clouds.

The squad leader of Masamune's commando strike team Commander Rinth indicated a Sith ship, tipped over on its starboard side, its underbelly heavily punctured by turbolaser bolts. Umbilicaled to it were a pair of craft that looked more like musical horns than space vessels.

"Wookie ships," Rinth said. "They're probably cannibalizing whatever's useful."

The next member of the commando unit codenamed 'Klicks' leaned toward the view ports for a better look.

"They take immigrant technology and make it all their own. For enough credits, they could probably build us a wooden ship."

Masamune had heard as much. Inventive handiwork was the primary reason Wookies frequently fell prey to slave traders, especially Trandoshans, their reptilian planetary neighbours. Skill, however, hadn't brought the Sith to Kashyyyk, or the Mandalorians before them. The system was not only close to several major hyperlanes, but also an entry point for an entire quadrant of space. A Wookie guild of cartographers known as the Tuvaclaa were said to have mapped star routes that didn't even appear on Republic or Sith charts.

The communications console chimed a repeating series of tones.

"Vector routing from Commerce Control," Ensign Mond said.

"Make sure they understand we want to set down near Rwookrrorro," Masamune said.

Mond nodded. "Transmitting our request. Relaying course coordinates to navigation."

Klicks threw an excited look over his shoulder. "I've wanted to visit Kashyyyk for ten years."

"Half the Core would like to visit Kashyyyk," another of the strike team, 'Shotgun' said. "But the Wookies don't cater to tourists."

"What, no luxury accommodations?" 'Pulsar' said.

Shotgun shook his head. "They might be willing to provide a tent."

The rest of the commando's laughed as they made their way to the shuttle, lead by a smiling Masamune.

They landed at their destination and Masamune lead the Commando's down the ramp and Masamune looked around the docks, Wookies, Republic troops and service men and Jedi padawans aiding along the Wookies in the recovery effort thats taking place.

"Commando's, head for the command center," The Guardian of Light indicated with his head up above them. "As we need to lay out battle plans for Corellia and gather all the leader's of the Republic forces and I'll join you shortly," As he walked off into the other direction.

"Right away, Sir! Finally some action men. Move out!" Commander Rinth said.

Masamune nodded to the Republic officers as they saluted him as he walked past and some bows from the Jedi Padawans alike.

"Greetings, Guardian of Light," "Glad to have you Guardian of Light,"Were the responses, as he was nearing his destination.

And found the person who was leading the Jedi effort and it was a Padawan. Surprised with an eyebrow raised behind his shades.

But there was something very familiar about this young one and wasn't sure what it was. One way to find out.

"Padawan Offal, I presume. Congratulations on a job well done, would you care to join me for a walk and you can fill me in on the details," Masamune gestured with his free hand.

Kildare was glancing at the skies and noticed a ship approaching. It was the ship of the Guardian of Light. As if on cue, a group of padawans came running to watch the ship dock. They stared eagerly and in awe at the landing cruiser. When Masamune exited with what appeared to be a strike team the padawans walked up and bowed to Masamune. They all said hello and called him by his title. Kildare smiled at his fellow apprentice’s pettiness. Masamune glanced over at Kil and left the padawans gaping as he walked away.

"Padawan Offal, I presume. Congratulations on a job well done, would you care to join me for a walk and you can fill me in on the details?"

Kildare smiled politely for respect’s sake and firmly grasped the man's hand.

“Yes, Master Masamune. I will show you what has grown since you have left.”

Kildare walked back down to the main level, where many Wookiees still worked on rebuilding houses and shops. Kil walked to a recent addition to the town, a great Council Hall. It had been Kil’s idea, but he said nothing of this. He excused himself for a moment to make sure the plans for the second level would still work. Kil quickly changed a fixed a few minor details and walked back to the Master.

“I trust everything goes well in the galaxy. My Master suggested that you might be the one to come. Have you heard from her recently?”

Mara? He thought. I never thought she would take on to teach a padawan of her own. Whatever the case, she has a padawan now.

"Yes, Padawan. She is on an important mission as we speak but she is in fine care and will return to us soon." Masamune gave way to some Wookies carrying heavy equipment and returned his gaze towards the padawan.

"Tell me Padawan Offal, would you like to join me into the command center. I would like to have your company. Since your insights have served you well here, I would like to have your insights on our plans for Corellia especially the massive recovery effort afterwards as well as evacuation effort." Masamune said to the young padawan as they made there way up to the central command room.
