RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Force War
Roon,
Atavus's Tower
IC as
Aruw'n Bonadan
Even as the words to Atavus had left Aruw'n's lips, he was almost certain he would be met with adamant refusal as Atavus croaked out,
“I will never surrender, Aru’wn. I have seen your darkest fears. I know I can break you. Sae Kya has seen his future at my hand. Kai will see his now.”
Some how the ancient Sith rose Quin Vos's hand like a marionette puppet perversely pulling the strings of the Kiffar's consciousness. However, the Sith's hold on Quin had become precarious at best. Obviously the battle was taking it's toll on the ghostly Atavus. Aruw'n chose that moment to cut that tie once and for all pushing a white hot static filled light into Atavus's mental awareness.
As Atavus's clutch on Quin broke, he snarled out his vengence,
"Kill Quin.”
Sae was already next to Vos shielding the Kiffar from Ruyn's saber strike with a clever bit of manipulation on the Sith Twilek. Enough to stall him.
When Aruw'n saw the body of Kai Lonati tumble backward to the tower's wall from the Force Push of Talon, he felt Nihl on the edges of his awareness coordinating a devastating attack. He let him come, just as he let Talon take her frontward flip arcing down with her lightsaber poised to impale him. There he would be cut at the middle from the gut and up as Talon would separate his right hand from the rest of his body. Nothing in the Galaxy could stop that. His only action would be to shield his friend Kai Lonati from a damaging run in with a wall.
So in reaction, Aruw'n let that image of himself die as he roared from the remnants of the stairwell after a weakened Atavus. He could play mind games as well. The real Bonadan ran the tip of his yellow blade through the Sith Lord's back as he arched in pain.

Hyperspace, Aboard the
Heavy Hand
IC as
Admiral Gar Stazi
High Master Sazen had called him, Cade, and the upper echelons of the command staff to the nearby conference room,
"There’s something we haven’t addressed. Rules of combat. After we deal with the Nightsisters, or after they make landfall, we’re going to be facing the Anaxi people. Whatever happened on Anaxes, things will get messy, and we won’t have the resources to get tied up in the entire battle.”
The Devaronian leaned on his hands, on the table, and looked at the Admiral.
“The Jedi have been keeping an eye on the Imperial systems under our control, to make sure the GA doesn’t go too far into the policing these worlds like under Colonel Solo. Anaxes, Brentaal, Arkania, Telti, Empress Teta, Belgaroth. We’ve been assigning Watchmen, but most of the Jedi on these worlds have developed a militant streak because of the situations on-world. There is a real possibility that these civilians will cross the line into combatants, simply because of what the GA has done.”
“So, what are our limits? When we‘re fired upon, fire back, or fire first, ask questions later? Commander Bey raised this to me, earlier today, which I hadn‘t considered.”
Gar scratched at his chin in thought, "You both bring up valuable points. In my opinion, since our priority is to contain the Nightsister outbreak, we will be unable to break from that objective until it's completion. Not to mention our plans require additional fleet resources."
"There isn't an option of letting any of these Witches escape, so the rules of engagement will be not to return fire unless someone is hampering your progress on destroying Nightsister shuttles."
Stazi continued, "Our limits are precisely shoot to kill. Shuttles gaining our immediate and only priority. If all goes well, they shouldn't be able to reach planetside with our multi-layered Tractor Net in place, but if they do my force alone will continue the pursuit through the city led by myself personally. On the ground we will treat this as a police action entirely. We'll openly warn the Anaxi people to hunker down while we pursue Confederacy aided fugitives. Only if the Anaxis openly impede our pursuit, then you have orders to neutralize the threat and continue on."
"Master Sazen, if at all possible perhaps you could swing your rank around and get every Jedi on and around Anaxes to aid us as much as possible?"

RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Force War
Ratep Sentarin
Anaxes orbit
"Those are some famous last words you said there." Ratep dryly responded to Hespar. "What is that? You know I've always been the 'shoot first, ask questions later' type."
He stared out the cockpit of the ship towards their target, his arms still folded. Ratep was becoming afraid. He was always poor in sensing things in the Force, but this was off the charts. He knew it was there, and it was dark. All these facts gave Ratep a reason to be afraid, especially since it was only him, a padawan, and an Imp Knight.
But this was big. Something like this needed to be investigated and brought to the attention of the Council as soon as possible. All this responsibility, this weight upon their shoulders now, with this on top of what Kreassk knew of the Sith and Imperial battle plans.
It became clear to him what had to happen here.
"Hespar, go ahead and dock. Keep the engines running."
Ratep let out a sigh as he rubbed his hands across his face and beard.
"This is what's going to happen, Hespar and Kreassk. We're going to dock, we're going to keep the engines running, and I'm going up to check it out. Now
don't
argue with me. Kreassk, you know way too much to risk yourself. The Council and the Alliance need you. And Hespar, you're not gonna risk your neck here, not now. I need you to get Kreassk to the Alliance no matter what, and it seems now that you have little choice but to come to the Alliance as well. Better yet, give yourself to the Jedi. We remember who you were once, and we'll give you refuge."
Ratep summoned whatever courage he had left. His voice remained calm, however, so his companions probably did not know how much Ratep did not want to do this. "You two are going to wait for 10 minutes once I walk off this ship. If I don't come back or if you don't hear from me in 10 minutes," Ratep grabbed his chrono out of his pocket and glanced at it, "you guys are gonna bolt out of here no matter what. I didn't see any hand-held comm sets here in this ship unless you have some secreted away, Hespar, so if I can find something on that ship to comm you guys I will. And hell, if that ship starts to spontaneously combust, that should be a no brainer on what you guys should do. Hespar, take Kreassk to the Alliance. You know it's the right thing to do. You know that we must fight the Sith instead of each other. So start helping.
"Now get me to that ship."

RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Force War
IC: Aya Merasi
Aya was thoughtful, as she lead her predator as she programmed the jump to their new location.
She remembered, how they ended here, on the way to Alsakan, trying to capture a fully fledged Imperial Knight.
It was Ganner, who first noticed she vanished silently. Aya hadn't realized it, until he mentioned it, she was too focused on the Princess. She would never have guessed something like that, she also told Ganner, she just got lost. But he was right, none of them could find her in the force, even Elke wasn't being able to find her later, when they have to told her.
Aya had known from the moment, when neither she or Ganner couldn't find her in the force something was wrong, really wrong and now she and Ganner were on their way to Alsakan.
Ganner interrupted her thoughts:
"Hey, Aya, has anyone noticed that they're sending two apprentices after Tessa - a fully trained Imperial Knight? I know the Princess is important, but isn't this more dangerous?"
"You know, I just thought about that. It's somehow stupid, two Apprentices against a Knight, who knows, how to hide herself in the force. A pretty strong Imperial Knight", she stopped a moment, sorting out her thoughts "Of course it's more dangerous. We aren't weak, but..." she shrugged "We are apprentices with a reason after all."
She looked outside, soon they would be there... "We will manage it, won't we?" she asked, more to encourage herself than talking to Ganner.

Sagitta shook his head as a response. "Unfortunately, no, I am simply a Knight, one of the Emperor's guards. However, although I am not a Master, I would have no problem with assisting you in any capacity I can." Nodding to himself, he awaited their response.

IC :: Kev-Mas Colcha
Kev-Mas, as soon as he heard Vincent's frantic screaming, had already gotten to the hangar of the
Morning Star
, and was heading down to the Hangar that Vincent's ship crashed into with a medical team. By the time he had sent Kev-Mas the comm, he was already walking into the hangar where Vincent was.
Kev-Mas quickly made his way through the rubble of the
Evening Star
to Vincent, and cleared a path for the medical team to safely pull Vincent out with.
Within moments, Vincent was being taken to the infirmary, while Kev-Mas had to make his way to the bridge to assess the battle situation.
When he got there, he learned that the battle was quickly turning in their favor. Their tactic involving hiding several Dreadnoughts within the polar regions of Utapau worked, and the Pellaeon-class that was leading the assault had been disabled. However, this battle was not entirely that easy. Several Dreadnoughts and countless fighters have been destroyed or disabled, and countless more were struggling to survive.
It was requested of Kev-Mas to storm the ship and take out the Sith Lord that was possibly still onboard, and even better yet, take control of the ship so it could be turned into scrap and parts, or maybe even repaired.
"I will need some support," said Kev-Mas, "I will not even set foot on that ship until I can make sure that I have sufficient backup from a team of my fellow Twilight Jedi. So, for now, make sure that ship doesn't somehow leave system, and keep on pressing advantage."

IC: Vincent
Vincent floated, unhappily in a Bacta Tank in the Morning Star's medical bay. The Medical Droid, who's designation Vincent really didn't remember, had showed him the full extent of his injuries. He had suffered a moderate concussion which wasn't worth complaining about seeing as he could have been killed. His left leg, like he thought, was broken, but it would heal in time. He had various bruised and cracked ribs and a sprained wrist, but worst of all was his eye.
His eye was completely a lost cause. It had received a large amount of nerve damage during the crash. It would need to be replaced eventually, and right now they didn't have the time or the recourses to do such, so he had an Eye-patch. They were kind enough to place a holoscreen in front of his tank and had left his communicator active. “Kev?” He said as a test, “Whats the status of the fleet?”

Master Yinngle looked at the hologram.
This was it.
" Put me through to all your men you must," Yinngle said.
He was put through and all the men could hear him.
" Master Yinngle this is, " He said. " Good men all of you are. Fight hard you must. Do this for your queen and for the alliance you must. May the force be with you all."
He was switched back to General Halen.
" General," he said. " Proceed. May the force be with you."
He then shut the hologram and turned to the Queen.
" It has begun."

RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Force War
IC: Ryu Brightstar
Anaxes
Ryu looked away. His body shook for a moment. He despised the Jedi and Sith. Their wars had brought much pain to the galaxy, just as they were now. He would have both Organizations wiped out, and now he was going to join the ranks. He was the same mind in another mold. His identity was void, his fate was chaos.
Ryu did not look up as he spoke. His voice was low and he wasn't sure if he was talking to Arik or his own inner demon.
"So, that confirms it. I am destined to follow in the destructive path of my brethren Force-users. What shall become of this?"
Ryu suddenly felt extremely old. For about the millionth time, he thought about life before the holocron. Peaceful; he had not been plagued by wanton acts of violence, and hadn't even seen a lightsaber. His only knowledge of the war, was from the HoloNet.
Ryu felt too quickly thrust into his position. He was proving unskilled at managing his own life, but was expected to maintain the health of a planet. It seemed that the recent events were replaying in his head. He felt it hard to grasp. His only question, was why?
What ill-fated journey had the stars planned for Ryu? His species was, again, erased from the maps, his home a barren wasteland, for the second time. His heritage had no hope, and though his death might be flashy, it would not be glorious.
He was forced to face the reality, that there was nothing he could do. He needed to accept his fate. Perhaps, he could light himself up. There were enough weaponry in the room, to kill him a hundred times over. The glint of the stolen lightsaber was looking extremely friendly. That would end his suffering and the tragedy that would be his rule.
But, he stayed his hand and pulled away from Jule. He sat up and stared at Arik. His eyes blazed, but behind the fire, was icy-cold conviction in his own destruction.
"Teach me what you can, Arik. It would do no good, to enter this war unprepared."
But, that is what would happen. He could never be ready for the horrors of war. He would never be strong enough, fast enough or smart enough. He would forever have weaknesses and they would always overwhelm his strengths. But, despite his resolute sense of despair and cynicism, he would fight the war, that was left to him as inheritance.

Sorry about the wait.
IC: Roan Fel,
Eternal Blade
, Battle of Bilbringi
The Emperor was quite pleased with the direction things were taking. Indeed, his fleet had taken quite a lot of damage, but over the course of the battle he had inflicted a devastating amount of damage on the enemy fleet when compared to what his own had taken. If he was able to take out the two worldships, the remaining damaged Carracks, and the few fighters that were left, then victory would be theirs on this day. The accelerating worldships and the tailed coralskippers remained problematic, however. If they got too close, then the tide could just as easily turn against him, and the tailed coralskippers remained an unknown factor. Deciding on a course of action, the Emperor issued his orders.
"Admiral, shift target priority for our Imperial Knight gunners to the tailed coralskippers, the regular variety are secondary, they must be destroyed. Have the ships with the most damage fall back behind our fleet, shift the ones with the strongest shields to the front. Have the entire fleet fall back as a whole, try and keep a steady distance between us and the worldships, we don't want them getting too close. Have our fleet's main guns and torpedo launchers that still have ammunition target the foremost advancing worldship, and then the one behind it after it's out of the way. We'll take them out one at a time, splitting our fire only lets them absorb it more easily. Have our Predators engage the enemy TIE fighters, they'll stand a better chance against them than the tailed coralskippers or Carracks. All ion cannons are to target the Carracks, they won't work against the Vong ships and they won't do much against the starfighters either. Tractor beams, continue targeting the starfighters, both enemy Imperial and Vong."

IC: Hespar Kessler, Anaxes orbit
"This is what's going to happen, Hespar and Kreassk. We're going to dock, we're going to keep the engines running, and I'm going up to check it out. Now don't argue with me.
Kreassk
hissed like any Trandoshan, and
Hespar
glanced from the reptile to
Ratep
, not commenting, but clearly not content to cooperate with his old Master. He listened to Ratep. Ten minutes. Ten minutes simply wasn’t long enough. It simply wasn’t. He would leave, out of respect of his Master. Maybe.
"Now get me to that ship."
Hespar scrunched up his face, the back of his head shown to the two Jedi, and did so. The shuttle connected with an intact hatch not far from the lifesign – on the bridge, seemingly – and Ratep was free to go, the seal made clear.
As a last, the Imperial Knight floated his lightsaber over to his old Master. “Make good use of it. We have Kreassk’s if push comes to shove.” Hespar turned back to the display, bringing up a chrono and checking it.
Kreassk himself chose a more traditional comment. “May the Force be with you. Master.”
Then there were a throng of presences – three Imperial Knights, in two separate locations – and the situation here became much more complex.
Tessa Nuk
, the Imperial Knight whom had risked much to save them on Bastion, was here, with two Imperial apprentices in tow, and then, more difficult, a dark presence flared into existence on the Alliance bridge, and rapidly made it’s way towards the shuttle.
Master-level.
Sith.
---
Enroute to Anaxes, from the Core
"You know, I just thought about that. It's somehow stupid, two Apprentices against a Knight, who knows, how to hide herself in the force. A pretty strong Imperial Knight", she stopped a moment, sorting out her thoughts "Of course it's more dangerous. We aren't weak, but..."
Aya
shrugged
"We are apprentices with a reason after all."
Ganner
looked uneasy, for a moment, and suddenly realised just how attractive Aya was when she looked thoughtful, and when she looked worried. That expression was fundamentally hers, attached since the death of their master
Sey Pachrias
, perhaps, but it was Aya’s emotions, on view and apparent. It was all Ganner had in him not to hug her. He was a teenager, after all. Hormones had their moments.
"We will manage it, won't we?"
Ganner placed a gloved hand upon her bare neck. “We will, Aya, because we have to.”
They decanted over Anaxes, on the Alliance side, and quickly scanned about. Their Imperial shuttle was easily identifiable, and reports had that ion cannons dotted the planets surface at intervals that allowed it coverage. A trail, however, led around the planet, towards the gathering wreckage of debris of two Alliance cruisers. Another shuttle, unmarked, hovered around the wreckage.
In the Force, however, the presence sung. Two Jedi aboard the shuttle, with an Imperial Knight. A Sith on one of the cruisers.
Tessa Nuk
, her own launch between them and the shuttle that was docked. Ganner quickly checked the records.
“Hespar Kessler, an Imperial Knight, escaped Bastion with two Jedi in tow…” The records of Kreassk, a Jedi Padawan, and Ratep Sentarin, a Jedi Master, appeared on the screen. Ganner made a noise. This just got much, much worse.
One Sith, two Imperial apprentices, and two rogue Imperial Knights and two Jedi, one a Master. This was about to become a pretty nasty battle. Ganner leapt into the gunners seat. “Aya, see if you can get us close to Tessa’s shuttle. Maybe we can buzz her, keep them all from linking up.”
The Sith’s presence became a beacon in the Force, stretching to smother the abilities of the Force users aboard Ratep Sentarin’s shuttle. The battle was, seemingly, on.
---
Anaxes City, Imperial portion
Jule
felt as if she could touch the despair in
Ryu
, and pulled him close. So very close. Tightly hugging him, she didn’t care if he was wounded. He needed her touch upon his golden skin.
"Teach me what you can, Arik. It would do no good, to enter this war unprepared."
A medical droid took that opportunity to roll in, whirring, and spoke. “The general’s have news that they feel simply must be looked at, Supreme Commander Brightstar, Moff Sagitta, Mistress Ors. Apologies for this interruption. The Supreme Commander
is
responding well to my administrations, I must add, however. He should be ready to leave in an hour or so, though I would counsel a month of rest.”
The droid appeared flippant. “But I know there is a war on and us droids remember the Empire. Have no fear, Supreme Commander, you will be fine on the field!”
And with that he rolled away. Jule blinked.
---
Final leg of jump to Anaxes, near Imperial-held Arkania
"Our limits are precisely shoot to kill.
High Master K’Kruhk
glanced at
High Master Sazen
. The two looked perturbed.
Gar
had a point. A vast one. They needed to stop those shuttles, at the end of the day. They really did. If they didn’t, then the war would be one more complex and messy than any in history. And on the doorstep of Coruscant, worryingly. Capture Anaxes, capture Alsakan, and Coruscant was next. K’Kruhk nodded his huge head slowly, remember the Clone Wars, but seeing that even this war was more terrifying than any of the last four he’d fought in.
"Master Sazen, if at all possible perhaps you could swing your rank around and get every Jedi on and around Anaxes to aid us as much as possible?"
Sazen nodded slowly. “I can call them, but the response may take some time. At best, we may be able to put together a mop-up force, in short notice. We’re less than five thousand in number, Admiral, now, and the GA is far too close to collapse. We’re getting to the point that without the navy and the Jedi, there is
no
GA.”
“But we can have something to assist, no doubt. Last reports had, additionally, that we hold the ion cannons still. We can turn those on the Dathomiri, overwhelm them. Perhaps we can meld with the other Jedi in-system, if there are any, and damage the Nightsisters effectiveness.”
K’Kruhk nodded, again. “We should be able to that, at least. Cade, you can come out of the ventilation shafts now, if you have anything to add.”
Sazen’s cheeks grew red. “What?!!?”
---
Darth Kruhl and Revan Darkheart
"Tell me sith, why I should not end your life now."
said the Imperial Knight.
Darth Kruhl
allowed himself a manic smile.
Revan
was wallowing in despair, and Kruhl could sense the missing parts of his body. The mechanical replacements.
He was a third cyborg, and Kruhl knew how demoralising that could be. Lord Krayt fuelled his rage with his cybernetic eye, and his Vongformed arm. There was much he hated about himself. Revan would be the same.
The Sith Lord, tattooed skin glistening, smiled. “Why? Because your Emperor has signed the alliance with us, my friend. We are friends, are we not? Are we not, I say, Imperial Knight?”
Kruhl
knew
his masters plans for the Imperial Knights, knew his plans for the Empire. They were hid behind his indomitable will, and this shattered Knight would learn nothing.
But Kruhl knew, and that was all that was necessary.
“Together, we can defeat the Alliance and save the galaxy…”
The smile grew sweet. “No?”

IC: Master Koon, Dorin
Enroute to Qiilura
The
Relentless
trembled softly, a purr which told
Koon
that the Star Destroyer was heading out-system. He had detected no thunder of turbolasers since his capture, and realised, with relief, that his home world had been mostly spared. It would rank beside the list of ‘devastated’ worlds that had suffered partial bombardment, like Kiffu and Kalee, worlds ruined by the war but not to the completeness suffered by worlds such as Tynna, Woltaria and Fondor, bombarded by the Confederacy until ruination.
Koon looked at
Darth Schleier
, the young Nagai whom had asked little of a man he had the right to slay on the spot.
"How can I find a person without a name, or a past? What would suggest I do, Koon?"
Koon canted his head, slowly, so as to not raise alarm. This Sith had honour, true, but the Kel Dor was not sure how far it would go. They had been enemies moments ago, after all. “Schleier, there are many people who, to me or you, have no name, and no past. But there is but one place where that truly is a fact to more rather than a few. Into the Unknown. The Unknown Regions, where your people dwell besides the greened skinned Tofs. It is there that I believe we shall find your destiny.”
The Sage, genuine in his prophecy and his concern for an Unknown Terror so close to Dorin – relatively speaking, the Unknown Regions was closer than Bastion, after all – continued. “My Lord, I dedicate myself to you, and finding your destiny. I believe it is inextricably linked to the fate of many. Unless we act, I fear that all shall fall into the Unknown.”

IC: Rasi Tumm, Bogden
Rasi Tumm
reached out with the Force as this Sith,
Darth Knitos
, knocked aside
Jor
and duelled with
Rori
and
Ori
with perfection. Another Master joined, and then Knitos was holding off the three with his unorthodox saber. Djem So with a weapon which could light in an instant – that was a difficult strategy to overcome.
Rasi, a Master of the Force over combat, raised a hand, “Alight!” On the signal, one prepared, the three Jedi, Master and two Knights, darted aside, flipping so as to place the Sith in the centre of a square. Emerald lightning lanced from his fingertips, Force Judgement, directed at Knitos.
At the same time, the Knights prepared telekinesis to yank at the Sith’s robes and arms to slow or redirect his blows, and the Master leapt back forward, slashing low, at Knitos’ kidneys, a disabling move. These four had been preparing for a Sith for, even without Jor to use. Tumm twirled his lightsaber, ready for an assault.

IC: Gunz, Battle of Ord Canfre
"I am afraid our appointment with the 'shop' is going to be delayed. Boys I hope you brought your entrenching tools cause we're going to plant the galaxy's largest landmine in that grand army of the imperial's path. We are going to need to be quick if we want to pull this off before we get detected by the imps, so no time to call
Atiyah
. Are you with me?"
Skorch
whined. “Ah, I hate digging. Oops! Look at that! I forgot my bomb!”
“We’re with you General,” sighed
Hawkeye
. “We have practically everything with us. The fortresses were prepared ground-wise when we arrived. Most of our soldiers equipment has been left with the fleet – not enough room down here for them.”
“Directions, sir?” The squad commander spoke, quietly. Hawkeye nodded, ready to move,

IC: Grenda, enroute to Utapau
“When we're fully landed,"
Marcus
had said, sitting down in the co-pilots chair and belting himself in,
"Drop the child off at the closest orphanage. If there isn't an orphanage, I'm sure there's a couple who've never been able to have a child that would be happy to have one. We don't need a child where we're going. It will only get killed."
Grenda
allowed her expression to become plain. “Actually, I was hoping to take him with me. As I doubt I’ll be any good within your little insurrections efforts.” Grenda had been paying attention to the holocomm messages from Utapau to its fleet. She indicated her hands. “No Force, you remember.”
"How long until we touch down?"
Grenda looked over at the displays. “A few minutes. You have no qualms with me getting out before I get killed?” The assassin flexed her droid arm on the controls. After Fett, she doubted she could take the hybrid, but she was genuinely worried about the kid. Knowing Force users, the entire world would be at stake, here, and leaving a child wouldn’t guarantee its safety. Grenda had an awful urge to take care of the lump, even if it wasn’t hers. It was a terrible shift from her usual perspective on life. Well, at least for her.
That and she was partially afraid of Marcus.
The shuttle looped around the final point of the planet that blocked their path, and Grenda glanced again at the child in the seat behind her. She was an assassin, not a warrior, or a soldier. Marcus was something else entirely. Fett had proven that. Her playful glance into the refresher hadn’t dispensed with that.

IC: Darth Krayt, Dxun
Darth Krayt
paid no heed to
Ra’ziel’s
litany, his blades deflecting blue fire and his own storm being thrown around. Ra’ziel snarled, again. “Earlier you seemed to want to destroy this place, now I will finish what you had started."
The temple began to collapse in on itself, stones crushing down, the Sithspawn King’s creatures vanishing into a mass of blood and bone. Krayt hissed, gesturing the two Holocron’s zipping towards him, and with his other hand slashed upwards his blade, carving a stone in two. One half slammed down on his shoulder, and he was driven to his knees, grunting. The creatures that made up his armour grew gleeful, feeding on his pain and anger, and the Sith Lord stood, hissing.
Darth Krayt had fought the Clone Wars, and killed a thousand opponents since. He was not to fall to his own pet, as the Sith Tassels had called Ra’ziel. Taking a breath, Krayt levitated one of his blades up into the air, a bolt of lightning chewing into his throat, himself roaring in pain. With an exertion in the Force, the lightsaber exploded, ripping a hole open, and Krayt leapt up into the air, throw the gap in the temple as it fell.
Krayt landed outside, on the collapsing mound, glancing back to see if Ra’ziel had escaped, his lightsaber ignited. Fire still raged upon the jungle, consuming the world. The Dark Lord of the Sith turned, checking his belt with his free hand for the two Holocrons.

IC: Talia, Battle of Bakura
Talia
saw
Tenk
, saw the Jedi Master the Jensaarai had identified as
Track
, saw the barrage of fire that had bracketed Track, blaster bolts pouring into him, and flying away in dozens of directions. The three Jensaarai ignited their blades, staccato, and Talia gestured.
“Stand down. Tenk isn’t going to be happy about this.”
The helmeted Jensaarai didn’t comment, one muttering something on a comlink channel within his Taung-shaped helmet, and the other two Jensaarai, both wearing their own designs based around a mynock and a Krayt Dragon, scattering in opposite directions. Both drew blasters, and Talia nodded.
“Go for it.”
They opened fire, driving Bakuran and Sullustan soldiers to the ground, either for cover or permanently. Jumping down from the building, cushioned as she landed by the Taung-helmeted Jensaarai who still hadn’t given her his name, Talia ran towards Tenk.
“Tenk! It’s okay!” Talia ran, and hugged him, tight, kissing his lips. “The Jensaarai were looking for you, not me. They took me away, and we’ve been preparing our own strike on the Presidential complex.”
Track deflected the dribble of fire that got past the Jensaarai, and then the entire group, as Tenk and Talia watched, darted into the fray and cleared most of the area in a wave of lightsabers and Force lightning and Electric judgement. A moment later, Talia nodded. “The Presidents in trouble now.”
“The Jensaarai are betraying the Confederacy. They’ve realised that the Sith took control of them. They led the Mugaari here, after they discovered that Tarkin was a Sith. A weak one, mind you.” It was scripted, almost, with little emotional value in them.
Talia squeezed his arm, leaning close, whispering, her voice almost eclipsed by the sounds of battle. “Can we really trust these Jensaarai?” It appeared, during her ‘protection; she had grown war-wise, so to speak, and understood the shifting network of alliances.
The three Jensaarai, Mynock, Krayt Dragon and Taung, were almost hidden in the Force, nothing more than a professional detachment leaking through. Track, throwing a look at Tenk, gestured them to follow with his hand, lightsaber bending a beampaddle burst that came too close into a Sluissi soldier.
The Master charged the sewage works, gesturing apart the metal doors, the three Jensaarai retreating that way. More soldiers were rappelling down, and the Jensaarai were too distracted to bring down any of the shuttles or carriers.

IC: Sae Kya, Atavus’s Tower, Roon
The image of
Aru’wn
died, collapsing into pieces, and
Kai
and
Sae
were faced with the three Sith Lords. As one, they realised that Aru’wn wasn’t dead, seemingly, and threw themselves up the steps.
Sae and Kai leapt to block the path,
Quin
coming around sufficiently to raise his hand and deflect a blow that would have removed Kai’s head. Sae spun on his heels, flicking a shot into
Nihl’s
throat, and then catching
Ruyn’s
hand before his blow could land. Kai had the measure of
Talon
, but was ailing.
When the yellow lightsaber burst through
Atavus
, the Sith’s visage vanished, entirely, just like Aru’wn’s form did a few moments ago. Then the entire floor Aru’wn had discovered, spherical in shape, vanished into the Force, revealing it was simply another floor, simply another trick. There were more floors to take yet.
Atavus swam into focus, his illusionary body appearing again. “You
are
a fool after all, I see, Aru’wn. I have the power of a god at my fingertips. If I didn’t have to deal with the Alliance and
Romar
, you’d be dead. You know it. I know it.”
“It is a matter of time before I have the focus to snuff out your life…”
There was a cry below, from Kai. “Aru’wn!”
Quin had leapt into the fray, without a lightsaber, grabbing onto the back of Nihl, whom was trying to wrestle him off. Sae was on the steps, lying on them,
Ruyn
pinning him down with the Force. Things weren’t going well for the group. Kai and Talon were locked in a duel, but Kai’s heels were brushing the steps.

IC: General Halen, enroute to Roche
The Hapan’s morale still hadn’t risen. They were doing what they had to, for the galaxy. The Empire wasn’t their enemy, the Separatists weren’t, but the Sith that had started this were. The Hapan’s had been informed of the assault’s logic, explaining the facts to the crews.
Yinngle, Halen
and
Darth Sieg
had the bridge, the Sith watching the back of the bridge with a worried eye, and nodding as his senses found nothing.
The fleet decanted near Tannab, a report flowing in that a rogue Alliance battlegroup had arrived at Togoria and started an outright war between the Separatists and the GA. The GA was protesting innocent even as the Tannab fleet group had jumped to Mon Calamari to assist in crushing the Mandalorians or withdraw to Brentaal to protect the Core from the Sith/Imperial salient running from Arkania rimward, and Xaare had recruited the Togorian’s and Contruum navy to the cause.
The Empire had declared war upon the Confederacy but not the Verpine, the Pact declaring war upon the GA and Confederacy even as the Empire was still at war with the GA. The Hapan Queen had declared war upon the Verpine, and thus the Pact was split. But, for a long and painful moment, the majority of the Pact’s members was sided against the GA and Confederacy – just like the Empire. Those goals, diplomatically, were becoming the same, even as Pact forces attacked GA shipping.
Suddenly losing Mandalorian and Hapan strength, and even the Verpine looking like they were about to have a civil war in the Sith and crushed by the Hapans, the Empire became the new heart of the pact, netting the Cassander sectors, Meridian Alliance and Commonality in one swoop.
Darth Sieg studied those reports, and looked at Yinngle. “The Empire may have secured the advantage, but the Verpine remain the key threat, even if they have been ruined by our efforts already.”
“Do you have a plan, sir?” spoke General Halen, the beautiful man studying his screens. His family had lost seven members at the Battle of Fondor, so his hatred of the Yuuzhan Vong was something he’d been brought up with. It was palpable even without the Force. For someone to manipulate that, play them like string...
He wanted revenge upon the Sith.
Not necessarily the Verpine, but until they became separated from the Sith or joined the Empire fully, there was little reason for him to imagine they weren’t targets of his revenge.
Darth Sieg tapped the displays a few times. “Master Yinngle, we’re going in with the largest fleet, numerically and in firepower. We should deploy gravity well generators and deploy whatever chemical weapons we have first. In conventional terms, the Verpine are dangerous. As the GA proved at the Battle of Roche earlier this year.”
Sieg was suggesting they commit genocide. The Hapans on the bridge were shocked – they were not Chiss or Bothans, whom had such words in their military textbook for the past century in the latter, and for millennia for the fore.
“Sir?”

Of
Ryu Brightstar
on
Anaxes
Ryu pulled away from
Jule
, again. He pushed himself from the hospital bed and to his feet. He spoke to
Arik
.
“I suppose it will have to wait.”
He teetered precariously for a moment, before taking a cautious step towards his clothes. Ryu pulled them on without much difficulty and put the holocron into his pocket. He whispered to himself, the holocron minorly flashing anger into him. It faded as soon as it began.
“Well, let’s go and see this important kriffing news.”
Ryu grabbed the lightsaber and his other weapons and began walking to the door. His first few steps were slow and measured, but he gained confidence and began moving faster. At the door, he realized that he hadn’t a clue where he should be meeting the Generals. He turned around and ran straight into Jule, who had hurried after him. Ryu’s hand touched her cheek and he sighed.
“Jule, your eyes brings me much need comfort.”
Ryu mentally shook himself and said.
“Do you know where I am going?”

Ic
: Dade, enroute to Utapau
Dade
nodded towards
Grenda
as she voiced her concerns about not accompanying him on the rest of his journey. He thought it was quite ironic. Sure, she had no qualms about getting him into this mess. After all his recently bought apartment on Narshaddaa was now blown to smithereens because of her, not to mention that he now didn't have a ship because she had never given him the time the get one.
Women.
he thought angrily. They never took responsibility for any of their actions.
Ooh! Look a baby! That's absolves me of all responsibility I have of getting you into this bantha dung!
He had such an urge to slap her right at that moment. The stupid worm head clearly didn't understand that if it wasn't for her stupid meddling, that he would have had time to plan out his course of action on Narshadaa. But no, because of her, he now needed to reveal himself far sooner than intended. He was beginning to think that he should have just kept the door locked when she had knocked on it. He hadn't even gotten a wink of sleep since they had left Narshaddaa. And with everything racing through his head, he wouldn't be able to get to sleep even if he tried.
And one thing was for sure, the Sith knew who he was. Perhaps not his name, but they knew who he was. Who else would send a bounty hunter after him? And it was also perfectly plain that they were scared of him as well. Sith preferred to deal with things themselves rather than send bounty hunters, and them sending a bounty hunter either meant that they thought he was underneath their notice, or they didn't want to take care of him because they were afraid that they would fail. Truth be told, his fight with Fett was just as difficult as it would have been against a force user. So he highly doubted that they viewed him as beneath their notice.
He sat in the chair, his eyes practically fixated on the planet that they were going to be landing upon. It had been decades, perhaps even centuries since Dade had set foot upon Utapau. And that instance had been for nothing more than to trade some goods. In fact he never been upon the planet to do battle, and he was wondering how a land battle would go with all of the sinkholes across the surface. But yes, the present.
Keep your mind upon the present,
he told himself as he let out an audible sigh. "Well if you wish not to accompany me," he announced, turning to Grenda, "I'm not going to force you to. But it will do no good for that child to be anywhere near this battle. If you wish to take care of the whelp, make sure to take him, or her, far away from here."
He sat back in the seat, running a hand over the bridge of his nose thoughtfully. He was never fond of space battles. Sure he had learned some piloting tricks here and there, but he would much better like to have his feet firmly planted on the ground, thank you very much. His prowess was using the force in a lightsaber battle, and one rarely used those skills when fighting in the skies aboard a large hunk of metal. But these Jedi, or Grey jedi or whatever the heck they were calling themselves these days were doing it all wrong. They were trying to hold their last stand it seemed like. That was not how one beat the sith. The Sith strived and fed upon large conflicts. The trick to beating the sith was by guile, not force. Clearly these force users didn't realize that. And if they did, they clearly didn't understand the meaning of the world 'guile.'
"Try to find the base of what we could call our allies," he ordered Grenda, "I would rather not touch down in the middle of a land battle if there is one taking place right now."

Battle of Ord Canfre
Ah, I hate digging. Oops! Look at that! I forgot my bomb!”
“We’re with you General,” sighed Hawkeye. “We have practically everything with us. The fortresses were prepared ground-wise when we arrived. Most of our soldiers equipment has been left with the fleet – not enough room down here for them.”
“Directions, sir?”
Andre though for a moment, "We need to drop down in altitude first, fly low to the ground to hopefully evade the Imperial's sensors. We land between the Imperial Army and the fortress they are heading for, plant the bomb underground, rig it to remote, and blow it when the main army is in the blast radious. Do you have any sensor blocking crates in that shuttle? That way in the event they happen to be scanning for mines they won't detect it. If we can get this to work we will have a shot at winning this fight, rather then fighting a delaying action. Let's make this happen."
Andre banked his fighter into a plummeting dive, the ground rising up to meet him at an alarming rate and at the last possible second Andre pulled up, clearing the hill in front of him.
