IC: Shado Vao
Anaxes
Something nagged at Shado, at the back of his mind, but he couldn’t quite place it. A sound caught his ears and he looked down as a small can blew across the street, but as he did look down, his eyes caught a glimpse of something…a large metal cover embedded in the street. He spied it curiously, the nagging in his mind increasing as he did. Oddly, it did not bear the markings of a municipal sewer access. No, it was incredibly non-descript, as non-descript as a large metal cover in the street could be. Ordinarily, he would have just passed it over but something deep down was telling he better have a look.
Knowing he was being watched, he could use his saber to open it, and he couldn’t just fling it open with the force. Thus, bending over the cover, he slipped his hands into the access and, using the force to assist him, levitated the cover off while making it look like he was pulling it off. The cover would have been impossibly heavy for him normally, that much he could tell, but hopefully those noticing wouldn’t think of it. Shado marched forward and got down on his hands and knees, spying down into the tunnel. This was, indeed, no sewer. It was apparently some sort of underground passageway…surprisingly well kept and apparently recently traveled by the looks of this. Did the Alliance know about this? If not, then they definitely should, without a doubt. The young Twi’lek reached to his waist and retrieved his commlink. “Master, this is Shado. There appears to be some sort of…tunnel…underneath the city, but definitely not a sewer system. I think you better come see this.”

Ratep Sentarin
scary ship above Anaxes
Ratep gripped Hespar's standard-issue lightsaber, feeling the weight of the hilt. "Thanks, Hespar. I'll be sure to do something with it..."
And suddenly everything seemed to happen at once. First, Imperial ships showing up boarding the hulk. Was this a stupid trap set by them? Then, Ratep sensed it, and his adrenaline surged. "It's coming towards us!" He shouted as he ran towards the docking hatch. "If you hear anything bad you guys get the kriff out of here!"
With that he sprinted into the damaged Alliance ship and navigated through his sense of the Force to find the dark presence. It was not a difficult thing to do at all, which only alarmed Ratep even more. He had to stop it from getting any closer to Hespar and Kreassk.
Curiously, he had both hilts in his hand, but he didn't ignite them. Ratep had a crazy idea that maybe he could talk to whatever this thing was. Lightsabers probably wouldn't do any good against it, anyway, he thought despairingly.
He only hoped that he would die a proper soldier's death that he had always wanted.

Master Yinngle took every word in.
He closed his eyes and thought for a brief moment. He opened them and had a decision.
" Agree with Sieg I do," Yinngle said. " Let them commit genocide, my orders are."
He then looked at the Hapan General.
" Any objections or suggestions," He asked.

OOC: I return, and apologise for slacking....
IC: Vander Lorren
While Tey was bringing them in, Vander was changing, disguising himself as a mercenary. The red armour was just a little conspicuous, after all. At least he didn't have to clean up; mercs could be scruffy and no one would think twice about it. Equipping himself with a few weapons he didn't have to hide, like the blaster rifle slung across his back, he looked the part. He had taken some extra precautions, of course; being recognised would be bad. A dark red paint stripe beneath his eye, from cheekbone to jaw on one side of his face, looked like a standard identifier a mercenary might use. And the visor covering his eyes; normal, common...and designed to adjust to varying light strengths, to prevent a person being blinded by sudden flashes.
These precautions altered his appearance enough that he wasn't likely to be recognised; nobody was expecting an Imperial Knight here anyway. He was surprised, however, by just how quickly he was admitted onto the ship.
"Come on, we need someone to help us muscle our way in and grab this blond girl. Boss reckons she's the ringleader. The girl has given us an extra hours worth of slaver-pay, mind you, which is better than grunt-pay. Was why the Cap'n took us to Mygeeto in the first place."
Vander shrugged, affecting a far less refined attitude than he'd been taught during his training. He lifted a blaster, and set it to stun. "Sure. I stun her, she makes no more trouble. Even get rid of her for you; can sell her to someone who don't know she's rowdy, creds in hand and outta there before he finds out." He laughed coarsely. "Might even make a profit."

IC: Cavan Shenn
"You can if you choose. But don't cut anything off we will be needing. And if other Imperial Knights intervene...kill them. We don't want the Knights to take in Tessa Nuk and cover this up. Nor Kessler. We want the Imperial Knights to be ruined. That's the entire objective of this campaign - to remove confidence in them as much as possible, so the Empire's citizens support Veed and the Sith alliance, not Fel and his Knights."
Cavan gave a happy bounce at being told he could capture his quarry if he wished, clapping his hands together- hands that glittered with sparkly purple nail-polish. He moved forward impulsively, then stopped. "Oops. No hugs. Nearly forgot." He flashed his Master a sheepish grin. Lord Kye'El had a 'no touching' rule, to prevent spontaneous hugging from his overly affectionate apprentice. The move did, however, cause his purple robes to fall open. Some of the officers on the ship's bridge, working behind Lord Kye'El stopped dead, staring in shock. Cavan, having had time to change before being summoned, was now no longer wearing his usual outrageous outfit. This one was worse.
He was still wearing the mesh shirt, but the lower half of his clothing closely resembled that of the powered girls on holotoons like Sailor Galaxis. There was the frilled, ruffled, elaborate skirt...and the slightly high-heeled shoes with big purple ribbons bows on them. There was even a big bow sticking out on either side, at the back of the skirt. The resulting clash between clearly male (albeit pink) upper half, and bright pink holotoon girl lower half, wasn't the sort of thing one tended to see very often.
"You may go."
"Yes, Master." Cavan bowed, then turned and skipped off the bridge with a sunny smile, robes flying out behind him, leaving anyone who spotted him staring in bewilderment until they remembered to return to their tasks. Time to go prepare for his mission. It should be fun.

IC: Roan Fel, Eternal Blade, Battle of Bilbringi
The Emperor locked his iron stare with the Yuuzhan Vong's alien eyes. This was his enemy, the one responsible for the deaths of so many Imperial citizens today. "Surrender? I think not. Silence yourself and listen. You never have, and never will be, in a position to offer me the chance to surrender. Cling to whatever delusions you will, but the fact remains that I have annihilated your allies and smashed your fleet at every turn. Destroy the Eternal Blade, and you shall not live to see another day. With or without me, this war will continue. Justice demands it. Thus, I shall offer you the same courtesy that you extended to me. Take your fleet and leave this place, declare that you will have no more part in this war, and return to whatever dark hole in the Unknown Regions you crawled out of." The Emperor awaited Kunra's response, eyes unblinking and gaze unwavering. This was the moment that would decide the battle and the fate of the entire armada.

IC: Kunra, Baanu Ras, Battle of Bilbringi
Kunra would have laughed if it wouldn’t ruin everything. As the Domain Lah circled around the worldship, out of range of the Eternal Blades weapons. The worldship was damaged, yes, but rapidly looping the Baanu Ras. Kunra chose to remain silent while his flagship advanced towards the SSD.
The minelayers and coralskippers, still surrounded among gravitic mines, were enmeshed with the Predators and PSDs, firing at each other even while Carrack-class cruisers pounded the SSD. The Imperial flagship’s shields were mostly down, and the Baanu Ras was still advancing on it. Kunra imagined that his massive worldship would be filling the screen of the SSD’s bridge.
Kunra spoke, slowly, well aware of the limitations of the Imperial sensors – they were unable to see around the worldship and detect the kor strohna Domain Lah as it accelerated, looping around the gravity of the worldship and preparing a slingshot straight at the SSD.
“I am not concerned with losses, or casualties, Emperor Fel. I fought against and alongside your ancestors, and I know how your Empire works. I was at Ithor. I was at Garqi. Justice demands my people be slaughtered. I know you decry that. I know you have been seeking to end this war. End it your way.”
A Yuuzhan Vong waved a mottled hand at Kunra, who nodded, closing his eyes.
“I shall end it mine.”
At that, he spoke in guttural Yuuzhan Vong, and a wave of dovin basils concealed in coral pods popped clear off the surface of the planet, as the SSD’s shields fell, as there were less than thirty light cruisers left, as the PSDs finally pressed up against the minelayers. Those dovin basils activated, pulling all communication transmissions into them, sucking them away.
The ozzgil signal cut, and the moment his fellow Extolled One had indicated became clear. The Domain Lah was shooting out of the gravity well, at an acceleration far greater than it had earlier. Too great to avoid. And as the remaining light cruisers exploded, Kunra accepted that he, too, would soon die, at the hands of a last barrage from the Eternal Blade.
--
Antares Draco all but launched himself at the Emperor, placing a hand on his arm and imperceptibly tug on it. “Your Majesty! We must get off this vessel. Now!”
Admiral Piett nodded, preparing to push the Emperor himself. The crew’s eyes were set, none of them panicking, none of them reflecting fear. They were ready for this. The few that looked at the Emperor were all beseeching, begging the Emperor to leave. There was a single command escape pod next to the bridge, and it was large enough to accommodate three. It was a few steps away. A minute, two.
Three minutes until impact.
There was little chance many people would escape from this vessel. Many bulkheads had been sealed because of the battle, and the crew, and the hundred Imperial Knights on-board, were firing on coralskippers and the light cruisers without hesitation. Fire was starting to be thrown at the massive worldship, enough realising that there wasn’t time to tear apart the smaller koros strohna.
Admiral Piett called out to the entire ship, tapping the throne comlink. “All weapons, fire on the Baanu Ras. If you can’t see it, find a target, kill it. We’re going down. For the Emperor! For the Empire!”
For the Emperor! For the Empire!
The doors to the Emperor’s cabin opened at Antares Draco’s gesture, and he joined the call. “For the Emperor! For the Empire!”

IC: Laya, dungeon ship, Telti
"Sure. I stun her, she makes no more trouble. Even get rid of her for you; can sell her to someone who don't know she's rowdy, creds in hand and outta there before he finds out. Might even make a profit."
The merc grinned. “Sounds good to me.” The merc lead Vander deeper into the ship, towards the hold. There were a dozen dead Ortolan’s on the floor, their blasters missing, and more than two dozen Gamorrean’s firing blasters – badly – into the hold.
Laya Merasi was there, behind a pile of crates, her and other women firing shots out. The merc who had led Vander in took a shot to the gut, and was gone, the ignoble being ending ignobly. “Ach!”

IC: Lord Ky’el, Unknown Regions
Cavan Shenn departed, Lord Ky’el shook his head in bemusement. Then, he studied his other comm. transmissions. His agents at Telti, monitoring the Imperial Mission that the GA has smashed, had long been watching the Hutt fleet. An entire fleet element had gathered there, dubbed the Hutt First Fleet, seemingly. The latest transmission had come in about prisoners from Mygeeto. Numerous systems had been harassed since the Battle of Bastion, and the GA and Empire were in no position to attack the Hutts.
Rumours of a Confederation between the Bothans and Hutts and, obviously, the Corellians were worrying. His Master had directed him to study the plot involving the Nagai and Tof’s, the latter being more active than not, and the fore being Sith allies. So Lord Ky’el had chosen to strike at the Hutts himself, and make sure the GA was the enemy, not the Empire.
He was largely acting on his own initiative, of course, and had been since his deployment into the Unknown Regions to draw the Chiss into the Empire’s camp, as Darth Sieg did the same with the Hapans. He knew, however, the Chiss military strength was minute to the Hutts. And so, he chose to attack Telti himself. While Cavan headed to deal with rogue Imperial Knights at Anaxes, he would finish off the Hutts.
He gathered his own copies of the GA Sabertooth-class frigates, constructed at the Nagai shipyards, and ordered them, from his Lucrehulk battleship, to jump coreward. Things would heat up shortly.
--
Cavan had his personal ship, and had his orders. A dozen shuttles were within the hangar bay, and before the Zeltronian could make it to his vessel, a Sith emerged from a shadow. A young man, particularly delectable, by Zeltron standards, he had been picked for this mission for that reason. “Cavan, I assume? Athame. Assigned to assist you on killing Tessa Nuk. She’s at Anaxes, after all. Deep in Jedi territory.”
Athame smiled, softly.

IC: Darth Sieg, enroute to Roche
"Any objections or suggestions.”
There were none. Even General Halen, as anti-Sith as he was, seemed shocked, but it was the best choice. The Verpine were incredibly good fighters, and their leader, Xaare, was generally accepted as this wars Thrawn. His people needed to be taken out quickly.
Two Hapan fleets leapt into hyperspace. Darth Sieg retired to the ready room, inviting Yinngle to follow him. The Hapan armada would arrive in twenty seven minutes, and Sieg wanted to speak to the diminutive High Master. The moment the doors closed, he spoke quickly.
“Master Yinngle. I want to ask you a question. A slow one. You have just authorised genocide to destroy a rogue Sith group. One which we both believe that is responsible for this war. We have fallen for selfless reasons. And I wish to make one thing clear.”
Sieg bowed before the Jedi Master. “My Lord, I dedicate yourself to your dark side teachings. Your wisdom is impeccable. You are not as powerful as the Dark Lord of the Sith, but, together, we can defeat him and make the Sith into the new Jedi!”
--
Things in Verpine space were complex, to say the least. A single PSD were off from the main Verpine force. Fire was being exchanged between the surrounded PSD and the rest, the PSD surrounded by Verpine forces under siege as Darth Ardeur and Darth Idoneus fought over the flagship of the Imperial deployment, the Steadfast, an elderly Providence-class destroyer/carrier trying to fend off the massed Verpine fleet with it’s vast fighter fleet.
At the edge of the system, Togorian Proficient-class cruisers and Contruumi Defender-class destroyers were firing upon rogue GA vessels, a second, larger, GA task force holding off at the edge of the system and repeatedly ordering the GA force to hold off. Dozens of warships were brawling, Verpine, rogue GA, Togorian and Contruumi firing on each other, Imperial and GA vessels calling for order.
Mandalorian and Jedi forces fought off at another angle, a GA task force from Mon Calamari brawling with Mandalorian Keldabe-class battleships, remnants from the Battle of the Cron Drift.
All in all, three GA forces worth two fleets, and more than two fleets of Mandalorian, Contruumi, Togorian and Verpine vessels, the massive flagship Tenzen the centre of the battle – the largest ship in-system. GA fleets were trying to engage all the enemies at once, but not officially the Togorians and Contruumi, while the Empire was simply trying to escape. A mass of wreckage, that of the sole Confederacy ship in-system, was testament to the flashpoint.
--
The Hapan fleet was now five minutes off, enough firepower to shatter the Verpine, Contruumi, Mandalorian and Togorian fleets in one fell swoop. But would they be an avenging angel, or a victorious spectre? The Hapans were not at war with the Empire, or GA. They had declared war upon the Verpine. Their allies had joined the Empire. In the mass of allegiances and webs, wove by Xaare, the Verpine whom had survived for centuries, all was at stake.
Everywhere.

IC: Darth Verrick, shattered GA ship above Anaxes
As Ratep Sentarin, Jedi Master of the Order, rushed down corridors, the enemy, the vast dark presence, did so too. Power was returning to the ship, fuelled by the powers of this entity. When he rounded a corner, all Ratep could see was the broken, shattered body of a Sith Lord. And Ratep had slew many since this war had begun, though considerably less than he probably would have wanted.
The man named Darth Verrick was dressed in the blue of a GA uniform, ripped and torn by fire and protruding bone. His elbow poked clear from his sleeve, bloodied and raw. A molten scar ran down his face, adding darker hues of crimson to the tattoos visible to all. A shattered hologram-projector hung around his neck, fragments of transparisteel dotted down the exposed skin – he must have projected a fake face to the world.
But the odd thing was the way the man’s eyes seemed fazed out. As if, in a strange manner, he was looking through Ratep. His head canted, the demon seemed to have one unblinking eye, and one swollen shut. When the gashed mouth spoke, however, the more worrying thing was that two voices emerged.
“We have been waiting for someone. Someone to take our spirits, to give us life.” As he spoke, two shadows rippled off the man, one looking clearly like the Sith he had been, a young and vibrant man, the other an aging but sinister looking female, her eyes hungry and clearly the reason they were still alive.
Two spirits, one broken body. They were driving it. Pushing it.
“We are Verrick and Vixen. Give us what we need!”
Two blades, both crimson, both the same standard length, emerged, one from a cavity in the shattered arm, the hand hanging loose, the other in the actual hand of the man. They had the power of two Sith Lords, and clearly access to some terrifying techniques. It was obvious that one of them had died, and the two had reanimated one corpse, somehow.
That would make killing them interesting, to say the least.
--
Outside the cruiser
Things were growing concerning, and when Cavan emerged from hyperspace he would see something even more worrying; three ships, darting around her prey. Kreassk and Hespar were still docked with the broken cruiser, fending off shots towards an Imperial shuttle that Cavan would be able to discover was piloted by Tessa Nuk.
The other was piloted by Ganner Krieg and Aya Merasi, firing at the shuttle, trying to disable and reason over the comlink channels. An Alliance frigate was enroute, concerned by all the fighting.
Then they emerged from hyperspace.
--
Exit point, Nightsisters, GA task force, aboard the Heavy Hand
As K’Kruhk watched, the GA force – two cruisers, one frigate – decanted above Anaxes. In-front of them, the Confederacy Defender-class destroyer had emerged, and was venting shuttles filled with Nightsisters. A squabble was taking place near the shattered wrecks of two cruisers.
“Fighters, launch!”
K’Kruhk immediately commed Anaxes. “GA control, this is High Master K’Kruhk. I am in-system from Dathomir, chasing the Nightsister, whom have escaped from the planet. Hundreds. Ordering ion cannon fire be coordinated to destroy them and the Confederacy DSD, and any fighters we have be redirected here.” Ion cannons opened up shortly after, the two that were in-range, anyway, the frigate in-system already rolling from the two shattered cruisers – and the three shuttles fighting around one – and opening fire with all the anti-fighter weapons at their disposal.
The two assault flights were out, Cutlass and Hammer, as a storm of shuttles rushed to the surface. Sazen beside Cade – a lecture forestalled by the rushed nature of their flight - Stazi beside venerable pilots such as Tarpilan and Monia. The shuttles formed a shell around the Confederacy SD, as it moved them closer to the planet. A few even sacrificed themselves to take ion cannon shots from the planet below. The Nightsisters were holding back; they’d detected Kol Skywalker down below. They needed the DSD to kill the Chosen One's descendant from orbit.
--
On the ground – GA line
Shado Vao had just returned with the crews which had analysed the tunnel. A sonar ping had mapped most of it, and Kol Skywalker and the rest of the GA officers had already realised it ran straight under the Imperial lines.
Kol was excited, visibly so, seeing this as crucial to their victory. “Well done, Shado. I’m impressed. I missed this, in all the fighting and preparation. You may very well have won the battle for us.”
“Masters Skywalker and Vao!” A tech called out, and other GA commanders watched as Master K’Kruhk’s face emerged above them. “GA control, this is High Master K’Kruhk. I am in-system from Dathomir, chasing the Nightsister, whom have escaped from the planet. Hundreds. Ordering ion cannon fire be coordinated to destroy them and the Confederacy DSD, and any fighters we have be redirected here.”
Kol didn’t take a moment to decide. “Do it. Put a pilot in our TwinTails – we won’t get there in time.” Kol put out a surge in the Force, a vast one, one which would make clear to all Force users just who was in-system. Cavan, Arik, Ratep, and countless other Force users would detect it quickly, and the Nightsisters, even though in the hundreds, pulled back, seeking to screen the DSD as it moved into weapons range of the planet.
The Grandmaster tapped the map. “Now’s the time, everyone. We need to get down this tunnel, and attack the Imperial base. They’ll make a push while our orbital forces and planetary weapons are busy. It’s their only chance, unless Imperial forces arrive in-system – which they can’t, even if Arkania has fallen.”
A GA general snorted. “The tunnels are too small. We’d need almost everything up here to hold out, and we’d only be able to fit a dozen people. We’d need a battalion to take the Imp base.”
“A small amount of people, armed like a battalion?” Kol smirked, something he rarely did, nowadays, and looked at Shado. “Sounds like they need two Jedi, my Padawan. We’ll lead the team. Any ideas, Shado?”
---
On the ground, Imperial line
So he does love me!
A still-smiling Jule directed Ryu and Arlic to the makeshift command centre. An incredibly low quality hologram hung in the air, numerous Anaxi commanders pointing. One turned, and spoke, a clipped Imperial accent evident.
“We have company. Shuttles, squabbling over one of the cruiser wrecks. Communications identify them as Imperial Knights and Jedi, some rogue, some chasing each other, some loyal to the GA or Empire.” Arlic would recognise the names Ganner Krieg and Aya Merasi as those of apprentices, assigned to the Princess, and Tessa Nuk and Hespar Kessler as rogue Imperial Knights, fully fledged, hounded for helping two Jedi escape Bastion – the two mentioned on the comlinks, incidentally. The whole group was here. Chatter broke out immediately.
“The frigate is moving to investigate. That will give us a chance. We have enough anti-air weaponry to fend off Crossfire’s if we need to.”
“We can mobilise the army, push between the streets where it’ll be difficult for them to hit us.”
He same man with the Imperial accent spoke to the three again. “Sir Sagitta, Supreme Commander Brightstar, General Ors, we’ve discovered that the tunnel linking us to the weapons depot leads beneath GA lines. No indication they’ve discovered it, either. I suggest we send a small force to strike at the enemy base while we’ve got them busy in orbit.”
Then the Nightsisters emerged from hyperspace, and a GA task force, and Anaxes orbit was filled with vessels, all firing at each other. A massive flare in the Force signified that Kol Skywalker was in-system, and the Nightsisters held back. The Imperial, non-sensitive, banally continued, taking their silence as interest.
“A small force means, however, heavily armed men. Lucky men. Force users.”
Jule could see where the Imperial was going with this. “You want Ryu and Arlic to lead the underground strike.”
“We have ten of our best men suiting up in stormtrooper armour already, sirs, ma’am. I think it prudent. Sir Sagitta’s plan should allow us to harass the city and perhaps grab some territory, but it’s at the GA base we’ll win. A surprise attack, with all that mess in orbit, could see things go our way!”
“Thoughts, Sir Sagitta, Supreme Commander Brightstar, General Ors?”
Darth Andeddu’s Holocron seethed. Skywalker was here, after all. It grew angry enough that Arlic would undoubtedly detect the Holocron, soon.

IC: Captain Bovark, Relentless
Captain Bovark caught the Nagai leading the Sage prisoner away, and cocked his head. The Nimbanel looked at Darth Brawl, who was just noticing the Imperials curiosity, and turned. Thankfully, the ISD emerged from hyperspace above Qiilura momentary after, and Bovark blanked the screen as the Sith turned back to study the Jedi TwinTails flying up to engage them.
“Launch fighters, seal all hatches. Open the hangar,” ordered Bovark. Whatever Schleier was upto, the Sith needed distracting. The other Sith, Reign, was at the main hangar, preparing for a boarding, but after Bovark had ceased the civilian bombardment the moment the Sith had left the bridge they’d tried to keep one Lord near the Nimbanel captain as much as possible. It reminded Bovark of the reports that Tahiri Veila had harassed Pellaeon, watching his every move.
He suddenly realised that it was the exact thing. True Imperials like Bovark, loyal to the Emperor personified as Fel, were being pitted against Sith Imperials like Veed. It was a terrifying split, and had seen the ‘True Imperials’ caught up in the death of Pellaeon and the still-spectacular Second Battle of Fondor. Bovark shook away such thoughts, and started defending his ship.
In the hangar itself, Koon and Schleier were making their way to the Nagai’s ship when the Jedi attack began. A dozen TwinTails hit the first wave of Predators, and another dozen followed. More Force user battles. Reign, however, sensed the two, and quickly, despite his orders to watch for enemy incursion, strode over, immediately igniting the lightsaber, combat adrenaline taking over and meaning Reign jumped conclusions.
“Schleier! Where are taking this one!”

IC: Sae Kya, Battle of Roon
The other Jedi sensed Aru’wn reaching out, and used their own strength to help Aru’wn, his power still growing in the darkness around them. Sae and Quin closed their eyes, Kai’s throat twitching as they forced a meld between them and the darkness Atavus was wielding.
Kira Romar responded, surprised, and quickly understood it was illusions they fought. Moments later, the GA fleet advanced, losing a ship here and there to genuine storms, but generally pushing forward. The remaining PSD fought valiantly, but was outgunned by a factor of thirty and was crumbling.
Then sixteen Force users blazed into the fight – dark, light, grey, twilight – and pushed straight through. Atavus turned his attention on these newcomers, their presences showing up in the Force like nova, and snuffed out more than half of the weakest ones in a moment. Several stretched out against him, and the illusions around them all began to fade.
With Atavus distracted, with GA orbital forces pressing forward and adding their bombardments to cover the ground assault, dozens of Sith were dying and the darkness was weakening. Soon a turbolift was evident – and the walls didn’t appear quite as sterile, quite as horrific.
Kira signalled that she would join them, and they held position, pushing out and forming into a powerful team. By the time Kira joined them, all five – Kai, Sae, Kira, Aru’wn, Quin – became melded, the darkness too weak to touch them.
Sae removed his lightsaber from his belt, tapped the button. A shining blue blade emerged – the first time he’d actually ignited his blade in years. Kira looked older, and even more tired, if at all possible, but they were all strong. Sae looked into his blade, and looked back.
“This is it. The last enemy. Turning point.”
There were others, coming up a different way – darksiders, greysiders – but they were distractions for Atavus. Alone in his sphere, looking manic and attached to the Sphere by way numerous black lines in the Force – the technique of Darth Rivan melded with a meditation sphere, rooted to a planet’s darkside potential with techniques of Darth Sidious – it was a massive construct build around a single vessel, sharpened and expanded. It’s power was immense, but, fundamentally, it was one man – so Sae considered.
“One God.”
Darth Atavus spoke into their thoughts, alone in his room, the walls the colour of fire, expanded many proportions away from him, not a single console dotting the walls. In his hands ignited a pair of lightsabers, and the man, his eyes turning molten yellow, looked at the five Jedi. There was no fear in his eyes. There was only darkness.
“This ends. Here.”

IC: Darth Khopesh, Rhinnal, Darpa Sector, Core worlds
Darth Khopesh, the massive Stenax, folded his arms and wings, looking at Darth Solari. The other two, Wyn and Wanderguard, were ready, but idle. Basking in their victories at other worlds. The Stenax was more wary, aware that he had been humbled by the Zelosian Darth Rivan II, his inductee into the new Sith Order. A fake Sith, claiming his title for a century simply by knowing Lord Sidious. Krayt had a better claim to the mantle by far, as apprentice of XoXaan.
“The plan is relatively simple,” said Cale Wyn, dropping his lightsaber from the hook under his shoulder into his hand and then levitating it back up as an aside. “Lord Khopesh will feint the base and draw away any traditional forces in the area, any Rhinnali soldiers making sure they miss. The GA soldiers will, of course, remain determined to kill you. Wanderguard and myself will attack the outer defences, lure the rest into the fight. Lord Solari, you shall pierce into the base itself, and destroy it, overcoming and Jedi Masters that have predicted the assaults objective. That will be the signal for the Rhinnali to rise up against the GA. If we have any problems, Lord Khopesh is free to deal with them.”
“Simple,” muttered Khopesh, unamused. He was ancient himself, and saw this plan as the epitome of simplicity. The Rhinnali, like the Arkanians, would rise up against the GA the moment the GA forces were gone. It was a tried and tested measure, and Rivan was an expert at it. Simplicity.

IC: Captain Petan, on the outskirts of the Alsakan system
Even further coreward than Anaxes and the troubles there, was Alsakan. A small Chiss task force representing the Empire, a small GA task force representing the Triumvirate. The first wave of diplomacy had seen three-fifths of the Imperial Knights assigned to the mission head off for Anaxes itself, two pursuing a third, and the Princess was now left with a fully trained Imperial Knight – Elke Vetter – to protect her.
Which is why the Triumvirate, liasing with the Jedi on Coruscant, had requested Verden Pinder move from the Outer Rim to this mission. Having survived the Battle of Bastion by the skin of his teeth, he and others had been recalled to, ostensibly, ‘create peace’. It was only when they arrived and Piers Petan, a political ally of Nu Toreena, spoke of his plan to capture the Princess - something pretty terrible considering that the Jedi and Imperial Knights were not at war with each other, despite the Sith – that the Triumvirate’s measures for ‘creating peace’ were obvious. Scuttlebutt had it that Nu Toreena was making a strong bid for Triumvirate membership as the Bothan and Drall members – whom still refused to hand out their names – were outshone by Bail Antilles. The capture of the Princess would obviously allow Nu to claim a victory as a visible ally of Petan’s, and move up.
“The plan is simple,” Captain Petan stressed. “We have a full task force from Coruscant. All we need to do is add our ships to the one in-system, and we’ll outgun the Princess’ task force by double. The fighting at Anaxes isn’t over, and reports indicate that Imperial Knights have been shipping to Anaxes all the same. Capture her, and the Emperor will be forced to push for peace. He’s only done anything half-heartedly since now.”
“And there isn’t a single Sith at the Battle of Bilbringi, Master Pinder. The Imperial Knights are taking an active role in the war even now.” Gial Gahan, the Senator of Mon Calamari, had seeming decided to invest a fair amount into this escapade, too. Nu had a renowned dislike of Jedi – the Ithorian wasn’t going to ask one for help.
And so, Master Pinder had been asked by the Triumvirate, the new and old, seemingly, to save the galaxy. Again.

IC: Master Track, Battle of Bakura
The explosion brought down the entrance, and the group – three Jensaarai, two Jedi and a GA pilot – quickly darted down the sewers to the Presidential complex. The battle outside was going well, though Track, his mind hazing from the loss of Isaja still, began to wonder whether the Bakuran/Confederacy forces would realise that, fundamentally, this was a Battle of Naboo attack – a pure Jedi strategy.
Distraction, deception, and a strike team to take out the head bad guy. Very ironic. Now Track just needed to find a Sith Lord to die at the hands of – he was the Master, and Tenk the lesser, rank wise.
So he promptly spoke out. “You, Jensaarai, don’t you have names?”
Taung spoke. “Simply name us for our armour, Tenk Qatar. We owe you for killing Tarkin, but we’ve managed to fight every side in this war so far. This is simply remedying our faults.”
The one whose armour looked far too like a Mynock shrugged. “We didn’t realise our Saarai-kaar had been replaced with a Sith Lord. We’ve sent three Jensaarai to track her down, too. Then we’re out of this war.”
Talia snorted. “And the billions dead because of the Confederacy?”
“We’ll take out billions of Imperials, if that makes you feel better?” snapped Krayt Dragon, his feet splashing in a particularly liquid pile of sewage, splattering his ferocious armour.
Track smoothed his voice. “No matter. We need all the help we can get. Thanks for bringing the Mugaari, either way. Tenk and Talia’s diplomacy pays off at last, it looks.”
“Yes,” said Taung, noncommittal.
They made their way past a wave of automated defences, minor weapons that served to detect rather than halt, and were in. Soldiers were down, and, suddenly, the President was there, standing in the courtyard where they’d emerged, at the heart of the building, his hands open, alone, walking down the steps that led to the turbolift to higher levels. His smile, insincere, his eyes, mocking.
“So. You’re all back. Not realising that I was the one behind all this. And I thought Jedi could detect liars.”
The President smiled. “I’ve cost Bakura hundreds of lives. Soon, I’ll take away even more. As the newly elected Prime Minister of the Confederacy, I have a fleet at my command. Your Mugaari allies are defeated, your armies repulsed, when I consolidate I’ll be able to crush the Ssi-Ruuvi fleet, and join Bothawui and the Hutts at the front.” As he spoke, screens flared into existence around the concord, on balconies surrounding the courtyard.
One showed the Mugaari fleet mostly on fire, superior Confederacy and Bakuran vessels surrounding them. Another showed the resistance army falling back, as a Bakura-class Star Destroyer began firing potshots into the army, taking out dozens with methodical shots.
“And I surrender.”
The President/Prime Minister smiled, genially. Jedi and Jensaarai were not so different. They couldn’t kill an unarmed prisoner. Nor could Talia. All this man had to do was surrender, and then his near-invincible forces would arrive, and force his captors surrender. He simply needed to survive for the next few minutes.
Talia held up her blaster pistol, trembling. “Tenk. I know you’ll fall if you do this. Tell me to do it, and I will. I promise I will.”

IC: Grenda, Utapau
Grenda could tell Marcus was angry. Angrier than she’d expected.
"I'm not going to force you to. But it will do no good for that child to be anywhere near this battle. If you wish to take care of the whelp, make sure to take him, or her, far away from here."
“Astonishingly, I wasn’t planning to. This boy is a victim of this war, and I thought all you Jedi types were dedicated to protecting people.” It was a paltry point, as anyone could work out that she was a loner, and not a cause person. Afraid of Marcus, true, but pretty sure he needed her. And the fact he seemed angry told her, at very least, she’d made some kind of impression – nobody gets angry if they don’t care about, or at very least rely upon, the person they were unhappy with. It, she admitted, was making her change her mind about leaving. But not sending the child away, she concluded.
"Try to find the base of what we could call our allies," ordered Marcus, and Grenda bristled, doing so, again, simply because she knew he would kill her if she crossed him. It was the foundation of their friendship. "I would rather not touch down in the middle of a land battle if there is one taking place right now."
“I’m on it, Marcus.”
She circled the ship about, and sent it forward, beneath a maelstrom of elderly Dreadnaughts and Utapaun P-38’s duelling with a PSD leading several smaller ships. Mines were exploding all around, and the Imperials looked routed – Grenda gathered they’d lost the battle before they’d even got into formation, the way the Dreadnaughts were defeating much more powerful vessels. Six Dreadnaughts were bombarding an ISD, which cracked down the spine, and static filled their screens. When it faded, Grenda’s tactical went red.
A mine had locked onto them. An orange rocket darted behind them, and Grenda went to fire a shot from the cannons to hit it, unamused that it had locked onto them despite her flying pretty much around the entire battle. Nothing. The weapons had been sabotaged by Fett. “No weapons, Marcus. Big mine running towards us.”
Grenda slapped on the shields, and, again, nothing. The Twi’lek hissed. He must have been disconnecting them in silence, while he was playing hide and seek with Marcus, and making sure none of the cockpits trips noticed. Great. They, in essence, had engines. She would test the brakes, but the mine would surely get them then.
“Suggestions, Marcus?” Instantly, she regretted such a statement – here came the suicidal plan.

GM OOC: Yup. This one.
IC: Gunz, Battle of Canfre, armed shuttle
"We need to drop down in altitude first, fly low to the ground to hopefully evade the Imperial's sensors. We land between the Imperial Army and the fortress they are heading for, plant the bomb underground, rig it to remote, and blow it when the main army is in the blast radious. Do you have any sensor blocking crates in that shuttle? That way in the event they happen to be scanning for mines they won't detect it. If we can get this to work we will have a shot at winning this fight, rather then fighting a delaying action. Let's make this happen."
Gunz looked back at Skorch, who shrugged. Hawkeye joined the glare, and Skorch started rummaging. "Doesn't look like there is with us, sir, but I'll try and put something together on the way down." Within a few moments, Skorch started picking through one of the packs abandoned by the others.
Andre dove, and the shuttle followed. A pair of Predators emerged from the clouds above them, and started firing. Bolts hit the less mobile shuttle, mainly, Hawkeye weaving. "General, we have company." In orbit, sensors showed the GA task force rolling away from the Imperial fleet towards the city, the Imperial flotilla and army turning slowly. Turbolasers were ablaze, and one of the GA cruisers was under heavy fire. Atiyah was quickly on the channel.
"General Hagan, respond! Why aren't you heading to that meeting with the Ord Canfre government!"

IC: Aden Kya, Corella, Presidents Residence
The Force thrummed with a warning, and Aden turned away, drawing his lightsaber from his belt. His attention remained focused fully on Admiral Nict, fueling his fear and pushing him to harass Prime Minister Solo. The Prime Minister was starting to yield to his old friends advice, and when that happened, Aden would turn his focus on the Corellian politician, and have the entire world.
Before he had turned fully the Jedi was there, landing on the roof. Aden ignited his lightsaber, concluding the transparisteel roof would prevent the noise traveling.
"Jedi."
There wasn't much more to say than that, really. Aden wouldn't turn back, and nor would this one.

IC: Andre Hagan
"Doesn't look like there is with us, sir, but I'll try and put something together on the way down. General, we have company."
"Understood, I'm on them." As Andre engaged the reverse thrusters, dropping suddenly behind them, blasting on before the two could react, the other one reacted quickly, but not as quickly as someone with force reflexes. In short order the other was blown away with one of Hagan's remaining missiles.
"General Hagan, respond! Why aren't you heading to that meeting with the Ord Canfre government!"
"Atiyah, I have a plan that may allow us to win this fight, or hold out longer, but it is imperative that you redirect your forces over the origional next fortress. As you likely won't without hearing what it is, do you remember the bomb one of my commandoes made? If we can bury it the army's path we can take out a sizeable force of their ground units. Enough to hold em off on the ground perhaps with the artillery and forts." Andre paused, "Atiyah if there was ever a time to trust me it would be now."

Master Yinngle became infuriated with what he heard Sieg say.
" Darkness," He said. " Darkness?"
Master Yinngle used the force and picked up Sieg and threw him against a wall.
" Join you I will not," He said. " Jedi are Jedi, and Sith are Sith! You're Lord I am not, you're master I am not. Loyal to the Jedi I am. Spent a thousand life times I did with the Jedi. Die a thousand life times with them I will. Cross me you shall not."
Yinngle released him and opened the doors to the chamber, he then made his way back to the bridge where the general was.
