Tython Terentatek

Tython knew that the boy would act the way he did. His features and movements mirrored that of a fallen-Jedi. It saddened Tython to see the padawan in such a state. Hoole’s case was extreme, because he had a raw power that was dangerous if left untended. He needed to be brought to the light as soon as possible, if it was still possible. His four eye’s closed and he spoke softly.

“Why do you think they don't deserve to live?”

Eight days, not that long when one considers the times of planning for war or time it takes to grow a creature for the sole purpose of killing it for its arm. Standing there upon the bridge as they finally found another vessel, though dead, still containing life in all probability he slowly flexed his fingers one by one in a slow undulating ripple. His four digits of the new arm slowly moving in concert with the shaper’s hand on the left, the two suited him in both his view of himself and what one could do in gaining a new fate to serve the god’s with. The new arm, a warriors replacement, fit for the battle field and his births begging path that he gained from his atonement from having used an infidel ship to return home when the project had fallen to pieces. His old arm by now digested in sacrifice that he had severed with the shapers hand, this hand of change. Someday all would be able to choose if they wished to stay were they were born or move into a new field of life, a way were second chances were found before and without disgrace.

His armor and weapons stirred slightly as they felt his mood change as the captain reported the ship hiding. Or rather attempting so feebly behind rock, as though a piece of stone that the ship they walked within would see as a giant feast could hide him from the Yuuzhan Vong. The warrior within since childhood still cried for battle, to ambush this pathetic blasphemous coward with a small wave of coral skippers or to slag him from a cognition hood controlled weapon. Possibly even to gloat by blasting every weapon and engine then boarding to enjoy the destruction of the infidel and his abomination piece by piece. The captain most likely would only grudgingly agree with this, most warriors felt an automatic dislike for his guts, but challenges would have to wait.

Although the Shaper would still keep paranoia and his armor for as a friend, it had saved him in challenges more then once. But the shaper that had been cultivated still yearned for a more trying solution, bowing slightly to the Warmaster he put forth this new idea. “You could bring it to heel easily or,” he added with a slight devious curl of his lips, “we could test and use the Jedaii to bring it to answers?” He awaited eagerly for the Warmaster’s decision, personally he still didn’t trust the Jedaii no matter what they done for them or against them. They were not natural even among their own kind, a rare deviant that causes and attracts trouble in waves, sometimes bringing the destruction of entire races around them. Which isn’t so bad, but that kind of ability near one was enough to make one untrusting.

The Jungle

They were still arguing and loosly following their team, as they heard the roar above. Far away, but still good to hear, as it was carried through the thin and clear air. Jade looked up and gasped out, as she saw a ship entering the atmosphere. She had never seen a ship like this, but it´s origin was ovious. It looked like a long, oversized Tie-Fighter. A freighter with huge Tie-Wings attached.

“Ok, brother, you were right.” She said and looked at him. The Commander came running back to them. “Our sensors have located a ship nearing.” He said and looked up. “An imperial exploration vessel. With two Tie-Raptors, attached to it´s hull.” He said, fighting to breathe while he looked into the sky.

“How many soldiers are aboard such a vessel?” Jade asked and took her blaster-pistol from her holster. Checking it and putting it back. “24 maximum, Ma´am.” The Commander whispered, his concern carrying his voice.

But Aquis felt something dangerous aboard that ship. Something worse than imperial soldiers.

“What do you think, borther? Run and risk to be shut down or stay and hide? They cannot possible know we are here.” She said and he could see, she knew something was wrong. She did not feel the force, but she felt it, when her brother felt something.

Bakura
Cave in the Ondian Mountains

Isaja folded her arms. “Master Trak is right. They have yur pilot now. And they won´t treat her well, from all we know about my fathers new methods.” She said nad her Ssi-Ruuk bodyguards retreated.

“We cannot face the combined fleets of both the Confederacy and my father, I know, but Master Trak, we must end this battle, now. They have bombed the capital. Hundreds of thousands dead and the people are in uproar. Father is loosing control. We need to move against him.” She looked at the Ssi Ruuk. The only question is how. The General has aplan. A rather daring one. Which will include you.” She said and walked over to the deeper caves, where an operations-center was located. While doing so, she turned to Tenk and smiled.

“Which leads us to you. Are you on our side or on theirs? Or do you try to remain neutral. As the Jedi love to do, when evil is rising?” She asked. Her grudge against Jedi was obvious. Even if Master Trak seemed ot have her trust.

OOC: LordTroepfchen: Thanks for the welcome, T. To quote one IC - Yosiin clan Yusekat

Aboard the Yammka,
Sector 556

Yosiin hated Force melds.

He was, of course, bound to the requests of a Jedi ranked higher than he -- a Master such as Bosa Nejeco was -- but that didn't mean he had to like them. Master Carreri, Yosiin's teacher, hadn't cared for them; she had always valued, and emphasised, the individual's unique perception on the Force over hive-mind techniques like this. "The Force gives us the all the insight we need for ourselves. Why do we need to sink our minds into one another to gain sketchy visions of the cosmos? Our strength as Jedi comes from individuality of talent and ability, not from some ponderous unity."

It was four years ago this lunar cycle that she'd passed away on Coruscant. Four years since Yosiin had climbed into the Needle, his modified fighter, and headed for the Outer Rim.
He missed her terribly.

The Force tugged on Yosiin's mind, and he couldn't help but feel the chill run up his back as he identified the sensation: a feeling of being spotted, like all those times back on Tatooine when he'd been an exile from even Jawa tribes...
Fear is of the Dark Side, Master Carreri's teaching whispered in his mind. He centred himself again and tried to focus on the feeling, but other than the sensation of proximity and the idea that the watcher was somewhere nearby, there was little else to be known.

So the Jawa opened his glittering emerald eyes and rose from his sitting position, moving out of the meditation chamber he'd been ocupying and moving up an organic corridor until he reached the command bridge of the Yammka. None of the Vong warriors opposed his movement; he'd been given more or less the run of the ship by the Warmaster.

The sphincter of the command bridge opened, and Yosiin stepped through to find Warmaster Nas Choka, Shaper Laatxiin Kiar, and the captain of the vessel together. The Shaper was just finishing saying something as the Jawa gave a short bow of greeting and looked up at the Vong faces around him.

"Permission speak," said Yosiin in his accented Basic, "but detected disturbance in Force. Do Yuuzhan Vong know if any ships around at moment?"

IC: Tenk Qatar
Bakura, Ondian Mountains, Cave

“Which leads us to you. Are you on our side or on theirs? Or do you try to remain neutral. As the Jedi love to do, when evil is rising?”

The choice was pretty easy for Tenk to make, especially since his choice of sides in the war was basically the same here on Bakura. He fought for the Jedi and, in extension, the Galactic Alliance. The Empire, and now the Sith and the Confederacy, were the sides he was to fight against as well as anyone else who would fight against him and his allies. The Confederacy has now come to Bakura, and this Prime Minister seemed to be in league with them, giving Tenk clear and solid targets to battle against once again. And Track and Isaja were thus his allies it seems.

Course, his choice had been made the instant he had been betrayed, when Talia was taken into the custody of the Confederacy. He was going to get her back, and his betrayers were going to be very, very sorry for having used his already broken trust against him as it had on Kiffu.

Looking back at Isaja, Tenk slowly shrugged before silently walking in her direction. "Looks like it's your side."

Darth Bison
Sector 27 - Roon
Forest

Disobedience. It is a definite way to screw up a seemingly perfect plan.

"I´ll take my place, Lord Bison. May the day see many Jedi fall by your blade." Lamar hurried to his feet and broke formation to scramble towards the unit of Sith warriors. "Whan they come down, we will meet them with all our fury. Their fear is the key to our victory. Noname, you will lead our men over the right side and I´ll bring half a dozen with myself through the center."

Lamar was guilty of disobedience. Guilty of treason in Darth Bison's eyes. He had disobeyed the command of his superior, only death awaited him in the future...no matter how the battle turned out.

"What in the bloody Kriff do you think you are doing Lamar!!!" Darth Bison rose angrily to his feet...ready to pounce on the idiotic and simple-minded Dark Jedi. But it was too late...

For even though Darth Atavus blessed the Sith/Imperial force with his presence through the Sphere, Lamar's arrogance destroyed their element of surprise...the main crux in Darth Bison's battle plan. The grinding and rumbling sound of the AT-CT erupted throughout the jungle and the enormous beasts rose...aiming and blasting away at the now descending Republic soldiers.

Before Darth Bison could order the Sith to maintain their positions, Lamar dropped his hand...ordering the Sith to charge. Enraged, the Korun Sith charged the alien and sent a crushing blow into the Dark Jedi's lower back just before he chased after his men. As Lamar dropped to the ground on his knees, Bison began stomping his head relentlessly. The Sith's eyes bulged in darkside rage, "You know nothing! Nothing about their landing force or its size you stupid filth!!! You don't order a full frontal assault on an unknown enemy...if your lightsaber weren't needed in this soon-to-be bloodshed I would destroy you right now! Now get up you simple-minded bantha!"

Darth Bison didn't look back to see whether or not Lamar had the will left to fight. In his eyes, their chances of success just dropped dramatically as more and more Republic barges landed. The only thing left to do was destroy as many Jedi cowards as he could. Darth Bison zoned out into the darkside and lit his double-bladed lightsaber and the sound of blasterfire grew louder.

IC: Bosa Nejeco

Bosa gasped and his scales rose as he sensed the ambivalent presence out there lock on and realize the two Jedi's presences. Bosa had found during his training and time as a Jedi, when it came to meditation; there were three types of Jedi. The first is the kind that have to be in an environment that is full of life and Force energy in order to meditate. The second type is what Bosa falls into. The kind that needs to actively meditate, always moving, like when he goes on his hunts. But he rarely finds the kind of Jedi that like to be in barren surroundings. But as he meditated on the Force-less ship he had found that it was almost as satisfying of a meditation as when he is on one of his hunts.

The lack of detectable life here makes calming ones mind so much easier.

He could tell that Yosiin hated the idea of a Force meld, but the Jedi needed to realize that the ability to cooperate is necessary if one wanted to be a good Jedi. He felt him feel the same presence as Bosa only not as clear and detectable as Bosa did. Where Yosiin felt a disturbance in the Force, Bosa sensed it for what it really was, a Dark Jedi.

Bosa watched as the Jawa get up and head for the bridge. While he should urge for patience he was just as intrigued as Yosiin, perhaps more so sense he knew its true nature. As they made their way on the bridge, Yosiin began speaking, "Permission speak, but detected disturbance in Force. Do Yuuzhan Vong know if any ships around at moment?"

Finally Bosa spoke up, “But be aware, there iz a Dark Jedi on that ship. He iz very angry, but also very scared. A dangerous combination in thiz onez opinion."

IC: Ra'ziel
Shuttle, leaving the Planet

Ra'ziel looked down at his hand as his new master spoke. "Good, my young apprentice. Now repeat, Repeat and repeat, until you have perfected the techigue." The the blueish figure that was Lord Bane vanished. Ra'ziel had perfomed the ablity to create sith lightning but it was much more difficult then he had believed it to be. Reaching into the darkness yet again Ra'ziel pulled at it forcing it to do his well.

"In order to serve the darkside you must prove to be it's master." Had stated Lord Bane and slowly Ra'ziel was learning the truth of the darkside. It wanted one to prove itself worthy to be it's servent. Ra'ziel though strong in the force had not understood his own weakness that denied him this ablity.
Pulling harder against the dark tide of the force and forcing it to enter him like he has never done before. Then with deep concentration he let his hate build channeling it into the darkside. It ran down his arms then he could hear the crackle of the lightning as it begain to take form. The tention became nearly unbearible and Ra'ziel turned his attention on the cube itself. "I shall be free of my bondage.” shouted the spawn as he let the dark energies leap from his finger tips to the cube.

He cursed out loud when the holocron didn't even have the faintest scratch on it. "Why can't I destroy you!!!" Yelled the creature with hate in his eyes. Sitting down Ra'ziel once more returned to his training. Hours had passed and he had not yet perfected the teaching but he was closer. The lightning had become stronger, and so was the scortched smell in the compartment. The ships alarms suddenly begain to blaze as fighter ships begain to appear. Why hadn't they manage to enter hyperspace yet?

Then to the spawns horror he felt the jedi, the battle had already begun but he needed to leave this place and quickly. "Droid get us out of here before we end up dead." Quickly Ra'ziel begain to draw on the darkside energies to manipulate them so that he could hide the ship from the fighters. He didn't know if it would work but he was desprete. Then he felt there anger and hate the other sith. Suddenly he reached into that hate and gain new strength from it. He would not die here... oh no he had to much to live for. His ships shields had already taken a few stray shoots but nothing important and then taking a deep breath and pressed his own thoughts into the minds of those around showing them a vessel that was friendly and belonged to the GA.

IC – Nirooth Vayland; Black Squadron

Vayland’s pilots had pulled off the maneuver almost perfectly. Breaking off their attack, they had changed their vector and like the explosion from supernova, they had shot off in every direction, hence the name, “Nova.”

As they turned their ships around, Vayland racked his brain as to how best to combat the still overwhelming Imperial Raptors. The problem was they were so blasted maneuverable. Vayland’s gunboats were literally space fortresses, carrying tough armor, heavy shields and a massive arsenal of weapons. But if the enemy were too fast to hit, all those weapons would do him little good. “Well then, he would just have to stop them from being able to maneuver,” Vayland laughed in frustration. “That was so easy to say.”

“Kimera, set a way point in the center of those Raptors and send that point to all ships.

“Black Leader to Squadron Two, hold your position. Transfer your power to weapons and shields. Turn on your missile generators to build energy warheads. Your orders are now to stop any Raptor from getting past you.

“Black Five, you are to stay with Squadron Two. Your gunboat has taken too much damage and I won’t have you getting killed.

“Squadrons One and Three, maintain current range from Raptors, and begin circling them. Put your engines to ‘Full’ and keep your turns tight. Gunners, target Raptors, hold down your fire controls and keep your turrets facing that way point.

“All right men, let’s finish off these Sith spawn.”

Vayland’s warriors eagerly obeyed their new orders, surrounding the Raptors. For Miniati and the rest of Black Squadron’s gunners, the Raptors now became much easier to hit. The gunboats flew tighter and tighter turns, slowly shrinking the enemy’s room to maneuver and filling the remaining space left to them with a constant stream of lasers. The Raptors lucky enough to escape were attacked and taken down by energy warheads from Squadron Two’s missile racks.

“Brown Leader, this is Black Leader. The barges should be cleared to land. Hurry and finish their escort while we hold off the Raptors. When they’ve all landed, we could really use your help. Black Leader out.”

OOC – How am I doing? Have I lost all my ships or am I actually beating the Raptors?

Roon, The Infinite Dark
IC as Aruw'n Bonadan

In the blink of an eye, the cold of Roon sent Aruw'n Bonadan back into past.

They were all wasting away before their own eyes. The diminutive Twilek child Aruw'n felt the sharp pain of an empty stomach that hadn't tasted a morsel of food for the fifth day straight. His last drop of water had been a day ago. And now before him stood a menacing red tattooed hooded figure hissing out, “Tell me Aruw´n. Do you want me to kill them? All of them?”

Aruw'n had never felt so small before, but feeling the power radiating from the Hooded Being gave him a thirst stronger than any physical craving. The man made killing look so... No! he shook his head trying to stifle the chill running up his spine. This wasn't like his dreams. His mother... or was it someone else?... had told him to trust his dreams.

Suddenly, the Slave Guard collapsed to the ground as the air drained from him.

"Yes." he said with an entirely different voice as he stood over the slowly dying Guard. "Make them suffer," he growled as he knelt down to rip the Guard's throat out with his bare hands.

Crimson stained Aruw'n's fingernails that grasped around the hilt Hooded Man had given him. He studied it closely to find that it spoke to him in a seductive call. In the Dark he shall be bloodied and made a new... This wasn't where Aruw'n's journey had really begun, but he was headed toward the Dark nonetheless.

His young eyes burned red from the light of the hilt's blade. No... the blade wasn't projecting light, it was feeding off of the light. Burning like a black star across the bodies of his captors and stabbing through his tormentors. Minutes later the Slave Camp stank of charred flesh but young Bonadan's thirst was still not quenched. As his rage intensified so the young Twilek grew in stature and years while he tore through the Camp like a maelstrom looking to fill the black hole burning coldly in his heart.

A singular clapping broke the air from behind Aruw'n Bonadan applauding his blood thirsty rampage. It was the Hooded Man revealing only a sinister grin behind the shadow of his cowl with fanged teeth a stark contrast to the void of his face. The Hood's shadow seemed to draw Aruw'n into it like a Black Hole.

"Good," he chuckled maniacally walking closer. "You've taken you're first step into a much larger world."

"Those are not supposed to be your words", he replied finally fear rising freshly in his stomach. Everything was like a waking nightmare. The bodies from the Slave Camp stayed in place as his surroundings faded to the black rock of the cave bathed in the crimson light. The light coming from the red bladed hilt in his hand.

Aruw'n gasped throwing the perversion of the red bladed lightsaber to the Cave's floor stepping back from the Hooded Man advancing steadily quicker. "Yes," the words echoed from the black behind the cowl now pouncing on a fleeing Aruw'n, "but unlike myself you won't be leaving!"

The Hooded Man's weight pressed down on Bonadan so hard he could feel his ribs bend from the impact as Aruw'n found himself on his back facing the now exposed half skin-half bone face staring back at him with empty eye sockets. His fanged jaw snapped open and let loose a reptilian screech. Skeletal hands grasped for his throat as Aruw'n tried to push them back as the evil thing's face inched closer and closer to the Twilek's.

Desperately Aruw'n was trying to defend himself until the Thing began to feed from him sucking life from the green skinned Twilek like a mynock on a power coupling. Bonadan could feel the Force draining from his body as he frantically stretched for the lightsaber he had thrown to the ground moments earlier. As more of him was siphoned into the Monstrosity before him, red tattooed skin was forming over the exposed bone and sockets that now held a red and yellow flaming eye.

Using the last bit of his strength, Aruw'n stabbed the now blue bladed lightsaber into the front portion of the Thing's throat causing it's head to fly backwards still hinged on the remaining sinews of cartilage and muscle. He hauled himself up to see was now in the Council Chambers of the Ossus Temple but... things were different here as well.

The halls of the Temple on Ossus were just as charred and burned as the bodies had been in the Slave Camp on Ryloth with bodies littering the area. Bodies that he recognized.

Kai Lonati's form was draped over an eviscerated Kira Romar and Quin Vos. Grand Master Skywalker's chest was skewered on the stone depiction of a lightsaber wielding statue that towered over Master Sazen's empty gaze. More friends and compatriots were scattered in horrific positions across the hall floor where a chilling certainty of death permeated.

Aruw'n's hand clasped around his mouth as tears pierced their way to the surface of his eyes from the stench of his dead friends and mentors. "By the Goddess..." he wept quietly. He got only one feeling from the hall: This will come to pass.

The screech from behind him told him all he needed to know as he turned: the Thing was far from dead. Aruw'n saw Hooded Man lurch it's body forward sending it's half torn neck to sit back where it had been before skin closing about the wound Aruw'n had put there.

And back stared his own face with the full compliment of red and black Sith tattoos save the bone dried empty socket of the left eye. "In the Dark he shall be bloodied and made a new." the Sith Aruw'n spat at him.

Backward he ran into the body filled hallway his friends staring blankly back at him as the Sith stalked after him through the Ossus Temple.

Tahnan gritted his teeth togethor and raised his rifle to his shoulder. He listened with a half-ear as Ashara and Thor spoke in whispers. The Sith knew of the attack. They were prepared. Someone betrayed them or the Sith's powers were more incredible than he ever imagined. Beside him Thor spoke calmly, almost as if he didn't even care about death. “I´d say, for you have command and must be protected, I go first.” Tahnan frowned and nodded reluctantly. It made sense he supposed, but that didn't mean he had to like it. He preferred to rush into the thick of it, burning off fear in the heat of battle. He hissed quietly as the doors opened up. Hundreds of meters below them was the forest of Sector 27. The forest was almost alive, the trees thrashing this way and that as the wind beat them around. A jolt rocked the ship as the repulsors kicked to life, flattening smaller trees and thrashing the larger ones even further. A monstrous machine walked through the forest, crushing trees and destroyed shrubbery. His blood froze as he recognized it. The AT-CT was the most deadly ground vehicle the Empire could have send against them. His eyes narrowed as the roar of a thousand men blasted through the air. The sound of a thousand men ready to die, the sound of men who had committed themselves to a cause that would be their death. Ashara spoke quietly, so softly that her words were almost lost in the roar of warriors. "Sith." Tahnan shuddered as...something washed over him. He shoke his head sharply and concentrated on the battle field. A brilliant green beam jumped from Thor's hand and the ship landed. Tahnan waited for Thor to rush ahead before jumping off the ramp and rushing after him. He grabbed his comlink and opened a channel to the artillery tanks. "Drop the tanks and target that AT-CP. Take her down!" He raised his rifle again and started firing at the incoming stormtroopers.
