IC: Warmaster Nas Choka, Yuuzhan'tar

“But surely the Jedi understand our need to defend ourselves, against threats, don´t they?”

With Kiar backing him up, Krell was making a firm but polite push into the direction of a pre-emptive strike. Intriguing. The Warmaster wondered what the High Prefect was upto. Grinning, the battlefield of politics being one he was still new to, relatively speaking, but one he was adept at, Nas Choka knew what was happening.

He'd lost the Battle of Bastion, and Krell wanted something in return. Nothing more nor less. With the death of Qelah Kwaad, and the withdrawl of Kunra and the Extolled ones, and still the departure of Magister Harrar and Sekot...the Yuuzhan Vong elites were becoming a smaller group.

Nei Rin would probably be made Master Shaper now, but the elder elites - Harrar, Kwaad, Choka - had all been ruined in some shape or form. Krell had joined after the war, as had Kunra, and now the power was moving towards them.

Glancing at the Jedi Master, Bosa Nejeco, he was disturbed from his thoughts.

"Of course. But are you sure you are defending?"

Nas Choka responded. "Four decades ago we were attacked by an Unknown Terror, that you may not know, before Kol Skywalker became interested in drawing us back into the Galaxy. In response, secretly, at the insistence of others, we rearmed, and created a small task force, which your inspectors knew nothing of. That Unknown Terror we have yet to repay entirely, and they remain quite strong. Additionally, the Nagai have become active once more, and of course the Chiss have allied with the Empire. The region is volatile, Jeedai."

"Thiz one does not mean to accuse you. It is just I have not heard any of thiz before I came here. Did you ask the Jedi for help when Sekot left?"

The Warmaster folded his arms. "Zonoma Sekot left when the war started, to avoid, I believe, being attacked and used during the Sith-Imperial War. The Empire started this war believing the Alliance was a Yuuzhan Vong puppet, so it was logical that Sekot would be attacked. We did not call the Jedi here because this is a question between Sekot and us. We should not and do not require Jedi mediation for everything we do."

Pride crept into his voice, unnoticed. The Barabel Jedi was here for a reason, but Bosa was asking difficult questions of the Yuuzhan Vong.

Trying to keep his resentment toward the Jedai under check, he tried to focus on other things or ways to use him. When a thought occurred, "We could kill two enimies with one thud bug. If we use our small task force to eliminate the Toff we could first make a deal with the Nagai so they would see us as doing them a favor. By having one offer them their worlds or just one of their main worlds back that the Toff took from them, in return they would be our allies or at worst never to interfear with Yuzhhan Vong again. We get to defend ourselves, and possibly make a new allie. All we'ld need is a negotiator with the Nagai." He had to nearly choke out the last statement as he glanced over the Jedai as he shifted his gaze from the Warmaster back to his Master, but he knew he had to make it look like a possible acceptance of Jedai help implied.

At the very least it might calm the fight, that seemed to be almost being asked for in his mind by this Jedai. But they were all words and rarely fight, though they knew how they still would not be warriors and kill unless they had to. A sad fate for good warrior priests, but that was their way and if they the Yuzzhan Vong could accept the Jedai as exceptional warriors reluctant to fight then the Jedai needed to know and accept that they were warriors eager to fight and right any insult or wrong done them. A toe for a leg and an eye for a head.

IC: Aya Merasi

Aya cried out of surprise and pain, when the Dark Lady send her into the corridor, quickly followed by a bundle of force-lightning.

'I... must... help... Sey', Aya clenched her teeth, she felt awfully. not only physically but also emotionally. Carefully she let the force flew through her, reducing the physical pain to a minimum. Nevertheless it took her some moments to find the energy standing up.

The moment she was on her feet again, the voice of her Master echoed in her ears, coming through the force directly in her thoughts, making her stumble once more.

Run...with the Princess, NOW.

For a moment Aya wanted to disobey, helping Master Pachrias to defeat the Sith Lady or whatever these women would calling herself, but the moment vanished quickly, the young woman knew, she wasn't being able to help Sey, not against this enemy, and expecially not in her current condition.
She could just trust the Force, Sey would be able to defend herself... and survive.

She didn't waste one more moment, instead she called the force to strengthen her and started running. For her it was an eternity until she appeared beside Princess Sia, but in reality it took her only minutes to reach her with the help of the force.

"What are you doing here?" Sia asked.

Aya wasn't quick enough to answer her Princess, before Afarmpel put in and asking questions of his own.

"What has happened? I demand to know immediateley!"

"We weren't being able to defeat the intruder until yet, she is very dangerous. But we don't have time for further explanations! We must the Princess get off this ship as quickly as possible. " Aya stated bluntly, grabbing the Princess by her arm and dragged her toward the exit. She didn't let anyone thwart in her way, while she hurried to a safety ship, not paying attention to Afarmpel anymore. They reached it only moments later, just before they boarded the ship Aya sensed it.
"No!" she gasped, tears streaming down her face, making her vision blurr. It took all her strength to go along. Her emotions whirled around, rage, anger, sadness, griever face, mieve, disappointment, too many different emotions to name where floating through her.

Master Pachrias, Sey was dead and the dark lady was alive and coming for the Princess.

"She comes..." Aya whispered, closing her eyes: 'I won't let the Princess die and making Sey's death useless!'. She concentrated on her mission once more, dropping in a seat and looking to the Princess. "We have to hurry." she said quietly.

OOC: All Chiss and associated will be updated by MasterPrenn soon. Here is Jedi and YVong.

Caudron
Vinston Colony 44

They activated the droid and both stood there, as the droid began to transmit what it had been done, seen and experienced in the last twenty-four hours. Every hour was one protocol. So, they simply began with the oldest. Twenty-four hours ago.

“Let´s see, what the old chunk knows.” He said, grinning and fascinated, that this little Jedi was a Jawa after all.

Protocol 1:

The Droid referring to himself as Unit-7 had served as a cargo-carrier as a ship had landed. It took huge boxes of cargo and carried them to one of the two warehouses. They were heavy, as the sub-protocol noted and the markings said, it were replacement parts and mining equipment.

At his third run he caught some audio between two men. In a short turning-angle one could see a male Kubaz talking to a bearded human. The Major and an unknown trader.

“Agreed, 70 credits per load. We take ´em all.” “All, you are generous, Master. I will take credits or ore in return, whatever you like better.” “Half, half, Dressin. You wanna stay over night? Have a real meal and some company probably?” “I would love two. A few hours probably. Need to go to Exyl today. The need someone to make a run, you know. Not many of us out here.” “Not many of anyone out here, aren´t they?” “Yes. But I heard . . . “

The dialog broke up there for the droid left the reach to record the audio. The rest of the hour he sorted the newly acquired goods in the warehouse, until a human, Jenson Maire, told him to make a perimeter run. Gurrs had been sighted. Small, but aggressive predators.

Protocol 2:

Unit 7 made a search of the colony perimeter without finding anything. As he returned to the village, he saw Jenson Maire and his beautiful young wife Alesia shouting at each other. “You have brought us here on this forgotten rock! It was never my idea! You could have worked for my father, Jesnon! We would have a good life at home!” “This is our home! Not the rotten streets of Belderone where I fly cargo for your criminal father!” “He is no criminal! He is a businessman!” “Yeah, if smuggling stolen goods is a legit business by now!” “You dammit idiot!” The young woman cam into sight of the droid. “What are you doing around my house! Go and work on something chunk.” “YES MA´AM.”
The droid returned to the maintenance station.

As he did so, Camper shouted “Stop, Stop. Two frames back!” He said and the hologram returned to a portrait of the street. Various inhabitants of the city were on the streets. Mainly Humans and Duros. “There!” He pointed at the background. The old Action IV of the Kubaz was still at the platform, where now Camper´s ship stood. But behind it, one could see the shape of something else. It seemed organic. Cone-shaped and smaller than the transport. “Looks like Vong.” He said. And pushed play again. “Probably we get a better picture of it.” He said and now leaned forward.

The droid provided no further picture of it. He returned to maintenance and attached himself to the station for analysis. In the background again voices had been recorded.

“What he says makes sense. It feels right. You know what I mean, don´t you?” “I haven´t heard him myself. But from what you tell me . . . it sounds idiotic. Why should we? Why?” You should listen to him yourself. Go, I take over the droids.” “My shift Manson.” “Go, Janson, go. You will see it makes all sense. Sense, when you hear him. You will feel it. We all felt it.” Then the droid was locked down.

Protocol 3:

The third protocol was empty. It had no entries, for maintain ha still been under way.

Protocol 4:

Unit-7 was reactivated. Janson Maire again. “Listen Seven, I need you to do something for me.” He said, looking at the droid. His eyes were wide-opened, his voice nervous and he looked around. “I need you to take my wife and bring her to the plaza for me, will you? Tell her she is needed there. An emergency. Promise me. Then get back and help me packing, ok?” He smiled. “Do it. Do it. Do it. Now, seven.” The droid was affirmative. He left the building and passed through a mass of people, all standing on the street looking at something that was at the end of the great plaza. Single voices were extracted, but most of them talked. “Yes, he is right.” “Of course, we should have thought about it ourselves.” “Why haven´t I seen it.” “When shall we go?” “Do we all have place on his ship?” “We need the Kubaz.”

He entered the mansion of the Maire family and found Alesia there, doing the dishes in a ultra-sound washer. “What is it chunk?” She asked. “An emergency, Ma´am. At the plaza.” “Oh my, have all gone mad? Show me!” She said and took a little package from the kitchen. Hurrying after the droid the doors opened and they saw the huge plaza filled with hundreds of people. Probably the whole colony. Someone was standing on top of the Action IV transport and spoke. What he said was almost impossible to hear, for voices filled the place. All in unison said again and again, that they understood now. A choir of understanding. The droid waited for the woman to make her way through the people, until she finally stopped and raised her head, listening to the speaker. “I think he is right. I understand now.” She said and smiled. The droid looked up and a scarred, huge creature came into sight. A Yuuzhan Vong.

He talked to the people in his own tongue, but everybody seemed to understand. The droid looked down and the Kubaz-Trader took his head and directed it at him.

Protocol 5:

“Listen droid, I need you. I want you to pack my payment and go before these crazies start dancing and celebrating, you hear? Your damned town guess nuts!” He snored and looked around. Even in an alien face like his the fear was obvious. “AS YOU WISH SIR!” The Kubaz gave him some data input and the droid walked of slowly. To the second warehouse. He began taking up a box with ore and registered it as payment, as he had been instructed. Slowly walking of again. On his way out, two Duros came into sight, dragging an elder human female out of the warehouse. “You cant hide. You must hear him!” “NO I DON´T WANT TO! LEAVE ME! LEAVE ME HERE!” She shouted. The droids passed them, leaving them behind. Making his way through the people who now began to scatter. A voice rang over them. “Take only the most necessary things. We won´t need to much. Food, clothes. Leave everything else behind. Leave everything else behind!” It was the voice of the major, now.

As he arrived at the ramp, the droid was blocked by people storming into the transport. They came from everywhere. Carrying baggage and pushing him to the side. “What are you doing there?” A voice came from the side. It was Alesia Mere. “BRINGING THE PAYMENT ON BOARD OF THE SHIP.” The droid answered and turned. Aleisa held a blaster and shook her head. Violently moving it from one side to the other. “Cancel orders, we need that space, droid. We need that space. Bring it back. Bring it back and wait there!” She shouted and waved with the blaster. In the background the Kubaz lay on the ground. Dead. A blaster wound in his head still smoking. Another shot was heard somewhere. The droid did what he was told, going back. People passed him, all on their way to the ship.

He went back to the warehouse, were another droid entered with the body of the Kubaz shortly afterwards. He repositioned the box and stood still. Waiting as he was told.

Protocol 6:

He waited sill. Only boxes in his sight. Far away one could hear ships taking of. The engines roaring. Then there was silence.

Protocol 7:

After ninety minutes the droid went to stand-by. Waiting for further orders.

Protocol 24:

They came, as a signal came in to return to the town-house. It was the one Yosiin had given him.

“Dammit, they **** you know, He transported stuff for these people around here for years.”

Yosiin had heard of the Kubaz, but never meet him. A well-liked guy. Friendly, fair and honest. The people of Vinston had always held him in highest regards. “What the freakin´ force happened here?” Camper asked and looked around.

High Prefect Krell listened to the exchange. He could feel the tension between the Jedi and his aide. And the eagerness in the Warmaster. “We are not the conquerors of old, Master Jedi. But we are not pacifists, either, you must understand. Our planet left, that is right. Probably because of the war, probably because of other reasons. You are right. It had been the cause for many disputes among our kind. But we cannot allow other´s to dictate our ways, or we will loose ourselves. The Tofs have brought the war to us. The Empire has, also. None of both could go unanswered.” He paused. “None of them should have.” He took a crowyn from his robes, a small device holding data.
“And in the Warmaster´s absence things have gone worse. Three of our reconnaissance-vessels have disappeared, while charting unknown space. And a week ago . . . “ He looked at Nas Choka, then at his aide. What he was about to tell, had been a secret by now.
“ . . . a week ago, our warship, the Legacy of Gods has vanished. It reported to have found signs of a small Tof-Fleet in Sector 556 and then never reported again. This could be a sign of a new attack on our people.” He said and handed the data of the last communication to the others present. He had prepared for this. Something for the warrior-caste to do, something that needed to be done. And that would keep them away from politics, until he had figured out, how to unite his people again.
“We must face this threat, united. And I hope you will stay at our side. Your insight would be . . . most welcome in this time of crisis, Master Nejeco.” He simply said an bowed.

Looking at his aide. He shared Kiar´s view on the situation. Or probably the aide shared his. Now his plan depended on the Warmaster and this Jedi. Only with one voice they would bring their people behind them.
“The priest caste had called for us to incestigate. They believe the gods are testing us. And their voice is loud and well heard among the children of Yun Yuuzhan.” He said and smiled. A sardonic smile.

IC - Yosiin clan Yusekat

Colony 44 (Vinston)
Caudron, Unknown Regions

Yosiin had to play the images back again a couple of times, ignoring Camper's question for the moment. The implications of this event were tremendous...
Implications are no better than speculation, said Master Carreri's voice sharply into his thoughts, echoing out from the halls of his memories. In looking at a novel situation, consider only action and consequence. The implication will become consequence in its own time.

"Ip'piidii," said the Jawa softly in his own language, acknowledging the thought, then considered the situation.
So: no supernatural force at work. At least not overtly so. Yosiin did briefly consider the possibility the droid's memory banks had been doctored, but it seemed unlikely; there weren't the signs of tampering to the cranial circuitry, and the two-fifths screws he'd undone didn't seem to have been ripped out forcefully, and weren't new.

It seemed relatively clear what had happened, minus some of the fine details: the Kubaz had been paid to transport the populace of Vinston somewhere. A deal he'd paid for with his life. The question was, who had made the deal and how had he or she managed to turn the colony into a semi-religious mob in the space of an hour or so?

Hypnotism or mind control seemed to be the answer. The problem being, of course, that few, if any, of the species Yosiin had encountered had the capability to do that. Which led him to think about the cone-shaped vessel he'd seen, and then the strange shape near the speaker on the top of the ship that looked like a Yuuzhan Vong. The problem was, Yosiin wasn't convinced that it, in fact, was a Vong. Or that the Vong were responsible for this.

Mostly because the droids had survived; from what the Jawa remembered, the Vong despised mechanical technology, and destroyed every droid they came across, viewing it as an abomination. Unit 7 and the other droid that had brought the Kubaz's body to the warehouse hadn't been blasted into a million pieces. They'd been left perfectly intact.

The other issue was motive. The Vong had no DNA match to any particular human species; they came from another galaxy. Yosiin had a strong feeling that they would've regarded the addition of other species' bodies or fluids to their own just as abominable as the existence of droids, so clearly the colonists hadn't been taken for vivisection or experimentation. The Vong, as far as Yosiin could tell from his dealings with the species, had mostly wanted to be left alone after the disastrous Ossus incident.

The Jawa also couldn't see the Vong abducting the colonists as a prelude to conquering the planet -- leaving aside the fact the Caudron was pretty much an unremarkable rock in the middle of nowhere, if the Vong were responsible for the abduction, it was completely mismatched to the culture of war that pervaded their species. A Vong invasion would be marked by an all-out assault, not by subterfuge and abduction of this kind.

So: if it was indeed a Vong who Yosiin had seen, was he a leader, or a prisoner?
The Jawa was more inclined to believe the latter.
But there was really only one way to find that out.

But the colonists ... Yosiin weighed up the options. According to the droid's memory banks, the colonists had been gone from Vinston for 18 hours or so. There appeared to be a good chance they were still alive given the lack of violence in their abduction, and an Action transport's hyperdrives were built for reliability, not speed. The odds were good that the colonists might only be a few parsecs or so away. On the other hand, the droid's memory banks didn't show much more than the fact of abduction; there were no clues there as to destination. Master Carreri might've been powerful enough with the Force to try and trail the colonists' life-signatures through hyperspace, but Yosiin was nowhere near as strong.

No--sadly, he would have to admit defeat here. There was no practical way for him to find the colonists right now. A tingling was going off in the back of his mind that he recognised as the Force's gentle tug--an intuition that Sector 556 had something to do with this.
He suspected he'd be going there at some stage.

But before he could even begin to look in an entire sector of space, there was one other issue to consider. If indeed that Vong's presence on the ship was something staged for the droids' sensors, there was every chance someone was trying to blame the Yuuzhan Vong for atrocities against the Alliance, possibly--perhaps even draw them into a war with the human races across the galaxy. Which would be disastrous for all concerned.

Yosiin's desires balanced. On one hand, he was probably duty-bound to report this to the Jedi Council or at least one of the Masters.
On the other, the Vong, whilst responsible for untold death and suffering across the galaxy, were still a people, and deserved the right to know this was happening.

Yosiin made his decision. He stood up and looked at Camper Frey. "Not much more can do here," said the Jawa, emerald eyes glinting. "You not need get involved with this any more. But would warn you--steer clear of sector 556. Consider getting out of Unknown Regions for while. This big problem for all colonies in area. Warn any colony you stop at."

The Jawa picked up the datapad and the memory bank, deciding to leave the droids where they were.
There was nobody here to complain about the mess, anyway.

Without saying anything else, he turned and went back into the communications complex of the colony again. Found the transmission platform once more, and recalibrated the communicator to a particular frequency he'd selected quite some time ago. Typed out a series of commands, and hit the EXECUTE button.

About a quarter of the planet away, in an obscure canyon's cave, beneath camoflague nets and dust thrown to disguise its presence, the Needle, his own personal ship, responded to the beckon-call signal that he'd transmitted to it. Telltales came to life, the cave glowing with the warm light of twin ion engines. The Needle, long and pointed as its namesake, rose on repulsorlifts, shrugging away the camo nets, and navigated out of its cavernous hiding place, rising into the atmosphere. Then it turned, blasting on sublight engines that cracked the air with a sonic boom, heading for Vinston.

It only took a couple of minutes, as it turned out, and the ship slowly moved in, Yosiin piloting the vessel by remote control, bringing it into a gentle landing alongside Camper's Ghtroc freighter. The Jawa moved out, calming down the scavenger with a raised hand, walking towards his vessel.

When he reached it, he'd depart Vinston colony, with the recordings safely with him. He'd plot in a course for hyperspace which, in decades past, most species would regard as a death warrant.
A course for the heart of Yuuzhan Vong space.

He was going to speak to the Vong.

Chiss Fleet, Flagship, Lower Deck

A nexus of dark energy and power, nothing could stop Maleficarum. The powerful Sith Master stalked her way through the bowels of the Chiss flagship, destroying anything stupid enough to get between her and her prey. She could feel the Princess, the diplomat, and the young Knight. All teeming with fear, though the Princess herself was hiding it rather well. With a dark chuckle, Maleficarum reached the turbolift that would take her to the command deck...that would take her to her destiny. Quickly she entered the tube, deposing of two peons, without a second thought.

Expanding herself in the force, making sure that everybody knew she was coming, Maleficarum descended to the upper level, cutting her way through ranks and ranks of stupidly loyal soldiers, until she reached the command deck itself. There she saw the Princess, the Diplomat, and the Knight. There she saw her goal. With a ferocious yell and a spark of lights, Maleficarum leapt towards the trio, aiming to take out the knight first, knowing that she would pose the most danger in her pitifully sad and scared state.

--

With the death of his master, Ganner knew that he had to return to the capital ship. As his fingers twirled around in his cockpit, the young Knight could feel a battle brewing on the top deck, and he could only hope he wasn't too late.

Brisk steps could her heard coming down the corridor, at a quick pace. Clad in normal dress uniform, the aide--a rater new one--looked as though she had important information. Knowing that the information she was carrying would please her superior greatly, she had to keep herself from smiling.

She approached the Admiral with all her military discipline and posture, and kindly waited for him to address her.

"Master Sey has been ki....OOOMF!" Sia started to speak to Afarmpel, but was shoved to the ground by Aya as the Imperial Knight leapt into the path of the Sith that had suddenly appeared. Sia was amazed and didn't think the girl had the guts to do that. Apparently she was taking her Master's last command to heart. She watched as Aya brought her lightsaber up to fight and then her view was cut off as the Chiss closed in around her.

Another Chiss was shouting orders somewhere near her that she couldn't make out, but more Chiss moved to stand between her and the Sith. She became filled with frustration and anger. She was an Imperial Knight, not some delicate flower. Pushing herself to her feet she attempted to move between the Chiss, but they were adamant at not moving out of her way. She could vaguely hear the clash of lightsabers.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" She shouted, entirely uncharacteristic for her, but the frustration had reached new levels. She pulled her lightsaber out and was intending to cut through the Chiss to get to Aya. She was determined that she wouldn't lose someone else close to her when she heard a voice...

Sia, no

The familiar voice of her deceased Master stopped Sia cold. "Master Sey?" She called and whirled around looking for her, hoping she hadn't died after all. The Princess saw nothing, however, it did cause her to think. Master Sey's sacrifice would be for nothing if she charged at the Sith. The Chiss were slowly moving her to the escape ship and she had a sense that Ganner was headed to them as quickly as he could.

Bosa Nejeco could see the disruption his presence had indused on the Yuuzhan Vong. For a race that was used to everyone wanting practicly the same thing, a person opting for peace and reflection was a change that they would have to adjust to. This one sees nothing wrong with an investigation, so why not humor them.

Hissing from the idea of trying to get the serious Yuuzhan Vong to laugh, Bosa offered his help. "Thiz one would be glad to join you in your investigation. Thiz one has heard reportz of a Nagi Sith. Where there are Tofz, there will be Nagi trying to stop them."

He gestured to the Warmaster, "Thiz one goez where you lead."

IC: Warmaster Nas Choka

The Tofs. The enemies that had struck three decades ago, and forced the Yuuzhan Vong to re-arm themselves. Zonama Sekot could not cover the entire Yuuzhan Vong population, spread over several worlds. They had access to all the Alliance and Chiss information on the Unknown Terrors - the Ssi-Ruuk, the Killiks, the Nagai, the Tofs - but Sekot hadn't expected an attack. Nobody had.

“The priest caste had called for us to investigate. They believe the gods are testing us. And their voice is loud and well heard among the children of Yun Yuuzhan.”

Nas Choka nodded slowly. "I have a battleship analog, the Yammka, remaining from our strike force. I will take it to sector 556, after checking on the colony closest to it. I would like members of other castes to start arming themselves, in-case this is a precursor to a new invasion, High Prefect Krell."

"Thiz one would be glad to join you in your investigation. Thiz one has heard reportz of a Nagi Sith. Where there are Tofz, there will be Nagi trying to stop them."

"A Nagai Sith Lord, you say? Curious, Jeedai." Nas Choka remembered it was Maleficarum who had helped them drive off the Tofs the first time, and wondered if it was linked to this fact. Maleficarum was a darksider, that much had been divined. Perhaps she was an ally of the Nagai? The Tofs were the enemies of the Nagai, Choka seemed to recall.

"Thiz one goez where you lead."

Choka nodded, and pointed at Kiar. "He comes with me. You will need someone to report on us, yes?" Choka smiled with broken teeth. He was not a fool, and would not be played as one.

As he listened to the plans progression he straightened slightly, so far all seemed to be going well. All except for the shock of the loss of a ship, that he had not expected and caused his fists and muscles to bunch to the point that his nails started to draw blood from his hands as he struggled to staysilent. But otherwise things were well, or at least it was in his mind until Warmaster pointed at him and said...

"He comes with me. You will need someone to report on us, yes?" Choka smiled with broken teeth.

His lips started to curl for a reply of denial, but thinking better of it he let them close without an utterance. Perhapes he had defended his master to quickly at the start by stepping in the way tipping their hand.

Kiar looked like he was planning to deny his position beside the Prefect, his lip curling, but the Yuuzhan Vong dropped his expression. The Warmaster smiled inwardly. He had simply picked Kiar because he knew Krell needed someone to do the job, and that someone had to be chosen quickly. Nas Choka's only freedom would be in whom was picked.

But as Kiar had not reacted like expected, the Warmaster had confirmed that the warrior was a friend of Krell's. Politics was hardly a new battleground for the Warmaster whom had helped Shimmra take the throne in a coup!

Bemusement rippled in the Warmasters mind, and it reflected on his face, enough that the Warmaster hoped Krell and Kiar would notice.

Fear flooding his nerves, Ganner Kreig rushed to dock with the besieged flagship, threading past a turbolaser shot, and taking out a Crossfire using a precise fly-by shot. It would have made him an Ace, but he didn't care. Sey was dead, and the Princess was in danger.

He boarded the flag, taking the closest hangar to the bridge. His lightsaber in hand, and he was prepared to ignite it the moment he could. Bodies lined the floors, and he made great time. The intruder would have been slowed by fighting each of these Chiss teams, defeating each Chiss Tann warrior. Maybe Ganner could reach the bridge in time.

OOC: Excuse the absence, MASTERPRENN.

Admiral Dess'uin'nuruodo
-Nasan Tengi(Command Ship)

The Admiral had boarded the ship and was approached within two minutes of his landing. His guards had a relaxed personal as she approached the Admiral. She was a young, somewhat attractive, female Chiss in the standard uniform of an officer of the CEDF. The uniform seemed to hold her rather well as her eager face approached him, with surprisingly accurate military respect. It was good to be around military Chiss who knew proper respect, rather than politicians who thought of themselves high and mighty, despite the ones who serve the CEDF laying their lives to protect such fools. He smiled as she stopped and gave her a nod to proceed with her report. The news she had was good news, unexpectedly good. He didn't plan on just invading the shipyards or ambushing them as she had suggested, he was actually more interested in inspecting the ships and probably would take them under his command. He would fit in capturing Princess Fel somewhere in there, but this seemed to be an opportunity he wasn't interested in giving up on.

Turning to one of his guards, he gestured around the ship. "Set a course for the shipyards coordinates. Aide," he said, turning back to her, "Follow Sergeant Airlei and give him all the information on the shipyards so he can work out a proper attack formation. We are now aiming at destroying all these ships for I am interested in letting our research and development department investigate these ships. We will, however, take them by surprise by destroying their defenses, so no struggle will be put up." They saluted him and started off, giving the right orders as they passed. In 10 minutes the entire crew was moving at an accelerated pace to get them on their way. It seemed they too were eager to see what the Admiral was planning, to which he smiled at.

Update comes tomorrow, for all . . . sorry for the delay. I had to leave the country and it needed longer than anticipated. Much longer. Sorry.

Tomorrow. Kiar, Choka and Nejeco will be moved forward a bit. And Yosiin will finally get into Vong-space.
