RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Unknown Terrors
IC: Aya Merasi
Suddenly she sensed it again, the darkness was coming once again. 'Sithspit, I thought we would have a bit more time left!' Aya used the force, to get
Sia
out of her way and was being able to block the first strike of
Maleficarum
. Probably it surprised herself even more than the Dark Lady before her.
She took her very small advantage and attacked the Sith, but was very soon again in the defense, trying to hold her own and not getting killed, but determined to give Sia the necessary time to flee from the ship, even if that means to miss her second goal.
Aya blocked another strike, breathing heavily, to strengthen herself with the force again, she would have to retreat to avoid the darkness around her enemy. But it would give the dark lady an opportunity to reach the Princess and so she couldn't do that, it was no option.

Adumar
Exemplifying all that was admired about Imperial Knights, the brave Aya fought greatly against the dark lady, the you Knight put up a brilliant fight...but even she knew that she was no match for the fury of a dark lady such as Maleficarum. Her only hope was the arrival of some help, and that help had to come soon.
Help, more commonly known as Ganner Kreig, was rushing up through the labyrinth of ship bowels. Never one for subtelty, Ganner effectively removed any obstacle separating him from his princess, and he arrived on the bride quite shortly, just in time to see his companion, Aya, on her last attempt of bravery. The Dark Lady was unleashing raw force energy to those in the direct vicinity, and that energy was moving towards Aya and the princess, who happened to be effectively moving towards the knight and the dark lady.
The fate of the Imperial throne rested in this young lads hands.

Caudron/Near Yuuzhan`Dor
The Needle
Remaining on
Caudron
, as the Jedi left in his sharp-edged fighter
Camper Frey
wnadered the streets of the ghost-town. Staying away from Sector 556. A sad smile came to his mind. Wasn´t it his Sector? He thought for a moment to tell the Jedi. But Camper Frey had never met one. Most people in the galaxy thought them to be saints. Holy men and warriors for the good. But what did he know? “Never met any of you. And now, everybody is gone, lil`Jedi.” He murmured to himself, as the ship made it´s way to the stars. He slowly wandered over to his own freighter. Left in thoughts. He considered taking what he could use from the colony. But even as he doubted it, he hoped these people would return one day. It was a lonly life out there . . . it wasn´t getting any better with people vanishing.
Yosiin
sat in his fighter and the stars became white lines of light as he travelled through hyperspace. The two remaining colonies of the Yuuzhan Vong were located on the farest rim of known space. Behind it only knew breed colonies like Cauldron or unknown sectors were found, until the galaxy reached it´s end.
Few had every travelled this space, where the Vong guarde their border with their living ships. He had come surprising close to the second of their two colonies. Yuuzhan´Dor. The new Yuuzhan`Tar was unapproachable without explicit allowance by the Vong themselves. But before he could make his final jump, one of the
Shrayyk-Firgates
pulled his little, needle-like starfighter out of hyperspace.
“Unknown Starfighter you have entered the space of the Yuuzhan Vong. Tell us the target of your journey and intention or you will be destroyed.” A gnarling voice in broken basic came from his comm.

The
High Prefect Krell
smiled only, as the Warmaster pointed out Kiar would watch after him.
“I am delighted you agree to give my caste the honor of involvment in this investigation, Warmaster. Consider it a safety meassure. So this time you wonßt have to take the blame all on yourself.” He nodded. And he knew some truth lay in his words. Another failure would probably make the priests move against
Choka
. Something he could not allow for many reasons. Foremost, because it would cripple their little stability forever, possibly. Resulting in an open conflict about leadership.
After the other men had left, the High Prefect stayed in the temple alone with
Kiar
.
“Take good care, my trusted friend. I feel the eagnernes of the Warmaster to proof his worthiness after the shame of Bastion. But his eagerness to fight the Tof may blinf him, for the true problem. The attacks don´t make any sense. Taking our reconers doesn´t make sense, for it takes any opportunity of a surprise attack. If this hasn´t been the Tofs, it is essential we learn who is behind it, Kiar. We haven´t been so defenseless in years. And with the Chiss joining the Empire, we might soon find our colonies in a war. We can´t afford to fight against two enemies. And surely not against thrre. I trust you to unearth any information on the dissappearance of our vessels, despite the Warmaster´s concluions.”
He said and nodded. Waving to show Kiar was now allowed to leave.
Only an hour later, the three men were on their way to the huge battleship orbiting the planet. For now it was all that had been left of the Yuuzhan Vong Armada. A last hope for defense against the unknown enemies of the outer rim. More were bread in highest speed. But such breeding needed time nevertheless. Even with most refined techniques it would be a year, before they reached the ability to take themsleves through hyperspace.
The hadn´t even left orbit, as the message from one of their smaller patrol vessels reached them. Forwarded by the High Prefect, to whom the warriors of Ye´Yuuzhan`Tar seemed to answer. The villip of the Warmster unfolded itself, as a young but scarred and proud face of
Ulonq Jamaare
appeared.
“Great Warmaster, I have been ordered to report to you directly. A single fighter has breached our borders. We suspect him to bean envoi. How shall we proceed?” The man asked. Obviously unenthusiatic about reporting to Nas Choka.

IC - Yosiin clan Yusekat
Yuuzhan'Dar Space
Vong Territorial Space
The Jawa didn't panic when the massive shapes of the frigates blotted out the local star above his little ship. However,
Yosiin
frowned inside his hood as the Vong frigate addressed him as an "unknown starfighter". Given his dealings with the Vong in the past, he would've thought most Vong vessels would have recognised his ship --
oh.
There it was. He'd left the ship on low-recognition mode back on Caudron, so the
Needle
wasn't broadcasting a transponder signal. Not to mention he was still uncertain whether the Vong even had something to decode transponder modules.
He flicked several switches and opened the channel immediately, powering down his shields and weapons to demonstrate good intentions if they were scanning for that. On the other hand, he did redirect the freed-up energy into the sublight engines if he needed to make a quick exit. "
Yosiin clan Yusekat,
Jedi Knight, responding," he said. "Strength and honour, warriors of Yuuzhan'tar. My intention peaceful. I give apology for entry to Vong space without leave. But do confirm I intended come into Vong space. Am seeking urgent audience with honoured leader
Warmaster Nas Choka
to discuss incident on small colony planet not far from here."
He considered briefly keeping the topic confidential, but decided against it. "Am concerned someone trying to unjustly blame Vong for abduction of colonists. Simply wish to advise
Warmaster Choka
of incident and obtain his input. Will await your permission before proceeding further," he concluded, and sat back in the seat of his fighter, reaching into the Force, looking for the split-second of intuition that might tell him things had gone bad...
Hopefully they wouldn't.
Choka
had met
Yosiin
once or twice in the past, and the Jawa had been astute enough to keep his love for all mechanical things out of the conversation. Of course that was no guarantee that the Vong would allow him into their space, but he hoped that the fact both he and the Vong kept to themselves would at least garner him an audience with the Warmaster.

OOC: Saint, what rank is your jedi? Just want to know if your character is an equal or lower rank. Bosa is a Master to let you know.
IC: Bosa Nejeco
Bosa was standing next to the Warmaster when the messenger brought the news of the ship entering Yuuzhan Vong space. Bosa reached out in the Force trying to gauge the intent of the person in the small ship, and gasped when he felt the pressence of a Jedi. He didnt expect any Jedi to be coming to the Yuuzhan Vong new homeworld.
This one knew there were Jedi on patrol in the Unknown Regions, but what are the chances that one meets us here and now?
"There is a Jedi on that ship." The Yuuzhan Vong in the bridge looked at him with disbelieving looks, only to be amazed as an intendent came up and kneeled before them. "The ship seems to be corroberating that, sir."

Yammka
The Warmaster growled at
Ulonq Jamaare
as his picket rushed over, interrupting, but the information was sufficient. A ship pushing into their borders. A single ship, an envoy, undoubtedly. The border patrols had picked him up.
"There iz a Jedi on that ship."
Bosa Nejeco
spoke firmly, and Warmaster
Nas Choka
nodded even before the intendant confirmed it. "Who is it?"
The intendant quickly responded, filling the Warmaster in on the information. "
Yosiin clan Yusekat
, you say? The Jawa
Jeedai
as information about abductions?" The Warmaster remembered speaking to the Jedi several months ago now, before the Yuuzhan Vong had started moving against the Empire, and securing Belkadan.
"Let him through, immediately, and prepare the
Yammka
for his arrival. We will meet him at the arrival sphincter." Nas Choka turned and stalked out of the bridge, his command cloak swirling.
Kiar
and Bosa would follow, there was no doubt. His personal shadows, it seemed.
Yuuzhan'Dor was none too far from Ye'Yuuzhan'tar - the system over - Yosiin clan Yusekat was an
Jeedai
, too, which elevated Choka's opinion of him. Lightsabers were the only technology he approved of.

IC: Ganner Krieg
It's now or never!
Ganner Kreig
leapt the small collection of corpses at the turbolift entrance, thumbing his lightsaber and crying out. "Get away from her!"
Maleficarum
turned, surprised, and Ganner hit her, hard, with a Force pushat her side.
Flipping, his clock flowing, Ganner went right, rebounding off a wall and pushing off, lightsaber singing, and he landed beside
Aya
, crouching to absorb the impact, and hissed. "Whoever you are, stay away from the Princess. You're finished."
Maleficarum laughed, and twirled her lightsaber. Ganner instantly saw she was using Makashi, and his stomach dropped. No wonder she had killed
Sey
...this woman was a master with a lightsaber. Glancing at the Princess, looking defiant to the bitter end, Ganner nodded.
He wasn't giving up. "Your Majesty, I'm going to need your the royal lightsaber." Ganner didn't know Juyo to save his life, but he was going to try it. He'd slew Jedi - or at very least imposters, survived the dregs of society, and he
was not going to surrender
.
Ganner Krieg was a Knight of the Empire. If Sey was alive, he had no doubt she would have been proud of Ganner, and that thought filled him with pride. Maleficarum was finished. And Ganner would make it so.

As he watched the information come in and the Warmasters responses he quietly tried to run through senarios of what might happen but was unprepared for the Jedaai mention that he knew it was another Jeedai. He wanted ask how he would be certain it was not a sith but the information confirmed a moment later with the Warmaster giving the ship clearance to dock. The Warmaster even left to greet the Jedai in person without allowing the Jedai to be brought to him. Did he hold this JawaJeedai in such high regard?
Whatever the situation as it was devined he would remember and inform his friend and master of the changes when he was alone in his chamber. Perhapes after he had a moment to enjoy the embrace tonight. Yes, that would be a good way to go. Falling into step behind the Warmaster he listened to make sure the other Jeedai was behind him on the way to the arrival sphincter, just incase the Jeedai desided to change sides their vigilance should not waver.

OOC:
Given the way things are developing, and seeing as I've got permission to enter Vong space from the Warmaster himself, I probably don't need a response from
TheSithGirly
...
SWBob,
what follows is not rudeness on my part --
Yosiin
is only a Knight, not a Master, and as such doesn't have the strength in the Force to communicate with you or realise you're there as such.
IC - Yosiin clan Yusekat
Heading for the Yammka,
Yuuzhan'tar Orbit
Vong Territorial Space
The Vong speaker on one of the
Shrayyk
frigates sounded quite surprised even as he granted permission for
Yosiin
to clear the picket line and set course for Yuuzhan'tar. They cautiously fed him the coordinates for his destination, and he set up the microjump that took him from Yuuzhan'dor to Yuuzhan'tar space in the blink of a glimmering eye.
So far, so good -- although
Yosiin
was becoming more uneasy. As he'd been immersed in the Force for a few moments back there, waiting to see if the Vong would try and blast him out of the stars, there had been an unmistakeable rippling.
There was another Force-sensitive somewhere in the area.
He had felt it as a brush against his mind. He had snapped into the mental defence techniques Master Carreri had taught, but the inquiring sensation did not press any assault and was gone in a few moments.
Was there a Sith on Yuuzhan'dor?
Or, more worrying still, a Sith on Yuuzhan'tar, able to sense him from a
planetary system
away?
Yosiin
pressed down on his anxiety as the starlines faded and the world of Yuuzhan'tar rose before him like a gem in the night. There it was; the Vong homeworld. And in orbit above it, surrounded by a swarm of picket ships and fighter-class vessels, the
Yammka
:
Warmaster Choka's
vessel.
As he piloted the
Needle
in towards an inviting access port that had melted open in the side of the
Yammka,
Yosiin
couldn't help his empathy for this people. The Jawa Jedi Knight hadn't been born at the time of the Vong-GFFA conflict, but the stories had been fresh enough even on far-flung Tatooine. War, death, perversions of the natural order. And following the negotiated peace and the return of Zonama Sekot, all-but-exile to the Outer Rim for this species that had crossed the endless night between
galaxies.
And then their return -- crowned by the disaster on Ossus, blamed on them by the Alliance. The Vong were once again a hunted people, exiled in the galaxy, reviled by all.
Yes,
Yosiin
could certainly appreciate those things.
Perhaps that is why they respect you, and you them,
echoed Master Carreri's voice in his mind.
The Jawa corrected his course slightly so it brought him cleanly through the gaping organic maw of the
Yammka's
docking port. Which was another thing -- how could you not admire a species that made living vessels? There was so much potential the Vong had to offer the galaxy at large -- channelled in the right direction, the Jawa amended to himself. He only hoped they'd survive long enough for that to occur.
Yosiin
landed his vessel on a deceptively solid platform, looking out to see Vong warriors move cautiously, though to his relief he didn't see any amphistaffs drawn against him as yet. The Jawa used the extension ladder to uncomfortably descend from the
Needle
; it was well within his power to simply make a Force-assisted leap from the cockpit, but this people had been cut off from the Force; there was no need to rub the kinsalt into their spiritual wounds, whatever the species' love of physical pain.
By the time the little Jedi had made his way to the ground, the arrival sphincter had opened and two Vong warriors escorted him through and into it.
Within that sphincter was something he hadn't expected: two Yuuzhan Vong, one of them being
Warmaster Choka
... and a Barabel Jedi. The sense coming off the alien was clear, not to mention that the face was familiar also -- albeit not one that
Yosiin
had ever received instruction from. A Master, clearly; no other being could have reached across a planetary system and touched a Jedi's mind.
Yosiin
only let that occupy his attention for a moment. One didn't exactly summon out the current leader of the Yuuzhan Vong and then stand around chit-chatting about the weather. The Jawa bowed deeply to the Warmaster.
"Strength and honour, Warmaster. May the Gods bring enlightenment to their children. And greetings to you, Master," he added in the Barabel's direction. "Great Warmaster -- come to speak of abductions. At Vinston, Colony 44, sector's distance from here, two colonies disappeared. All colonists gone without trace. Have also heard reports that Tof ships found in same state." He breathed in, and thought carefully about his next words. How he'd come into possession of the recordings was going to be a tricky subject, he suspected. "Recovered a recording of happenings on Vinston from ... cameras at colony. Difficult explain without show you on screen. May be attempt to wrongly accuse Yuuzhan Vong people of crime. Will
Warmaster Choka
consent to ... viewing ... these images?"

IC: Warmaster Nas Choka,

, Yuuzhan'tar
The small Jawa
Jeedai
named
Yosiin
bowed deeply, and Warmaster
Nas Choka
allowed himself a smile in greeting. The Yuuzhan Vong had never reached Tatooine, the homeworld of the Jawa's, but he had long expected the most problems from them, rather than the Tusken Raiders. Considering that the two races were at war with each other even now back on Tatooine, it was most bemusing. Nas Choka wondered if he could swing a picket ship there to support the little Jawa's.
"Strength and honour, Warmaster. May the Gods bring enlightenment to their children. And greetings to you, Master,"
The Jawa seemed taken aback by the presence of Master
Nejeco
, undoubtedly. Choka did not introduce him, nor
Kiar
. They had tongues of their own, and their voices provided context for him.
"Great Warmaster -- come to speak of abductions. At Vinston, Colony 44, sector's distance from here, two colonies disappeared. All colonists gone without trace. Have also heard reports that Tof ships found in same state."
The Warmaster frowned, folding his arms. His tactician was absent, but Choka could recall the composition of the Tof force that struck Sekot four decades ago. Two colonies was a problem, especially as it might draw eyes into the Unknown Regions.
"Recovered a recording of happenings on Vinston from ... cameras at colony. Difficult explain without show you on screen. May be attempt to wrongly accuse Yuuzhan Vong people of crime. Will Warmaster Choka consent to ... viewing ... these images?"
"Cameras..." slurred the Warmaster, considering aloud. "Technology. I will consent, yes. I have had a century to become accustomed to your technology, but I accept your...considerate thoughts." Nas Choka was used to more direct discussion, but the Jawa was particularly polite, and as the Jawa amused him, the Warmaster amused himself by responding in kind.
"Lead me aboard your vessel, Yosiin. I shall see this with my
own
eyes."

Suddenly she felt a familiar presence right beside he, the dark energy of the Dark Lady and her own focus on this fight had made her ignorant to her sorroundings. But when she flew away, Aya was free to use the force once again on herself and she didn't hesistate any minute.
"Whoever you are, stay away from the Princess. You're finished."
It was

and Aya was never so glad to see him and hopefully would never feel the necessity to be so glad about seeing him again...
While she used the force to strengthen herself she went to the Princess, considering if she should help Ganner defeating the Dark Lady or getting the Princess out of here, probably with some violence.
"Princess, you have to go, NOW!" Aya stepped beside her and took her arm. "You won't want to die, so Master Sey's sacrifice was useless, did you?"

RE: 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - The Unknown Terrors
IC: Sia
Sia was standing in the midst of the Chiss trying to figure out a way to get to Aya. She knew her friend couldn't defeat the Sith on her own when suddenly Ganner appeared next to Aya. Relief flooded through Sia for the barest of a second before concern for Ganner replaced it. There wasn't time to react though, before Aya appeared at her side.
[i]"Princess, you have to go, NOW! You won't want to die, so Master Sey's sacrifice was useless, did you?"
Sia started when Aya appeared at her side. "No." She muttered as she allowed Aya to drag her away from the scene, keeping the Chiss wall between her and the Sith lady. "What about Ganner? Shouldn't you help him?"
