OOC: Part of this post is cut 'n' pasted from the relevant post that applied to me, just so you guys don't have to go searching back through my storyline to find out what you're seeing... wink

IC - Yosiin clan Yusekat

Aboard the Yammka,
Yuuzhan'Tar orbit

If one could see a Jawa smile inside his hood, they would have seen Yosiin do so. "No need, Warmaster," said the Jedi, carefully taking the datapad out of his robes and presenting its viewscreen for inspection. "Have recordings here. And my ship ... little cramped for easy viewing." He fiddled with the on switch and then allowed the images to play out before Warmaster Choka, explaining that a 'protocol' referred to one hour of time on the tape:

Protocol 1:

The Droid referring to himself as Unit-7 had served as a cargo-carrier as a ship had landed. It took huge boxes of cargo and carried them to one of the two warehouses. They were heavy, as the sub-protocol noted and the markings said, it was replacement parts and mining equipment.

At his third run he caught some audio between two men. In a short turning-angle one could see a male Kubaz talking to a bearded human. The Major and an unknown trader.

“Agreed, 70 credits per load. We take ´em all.”
“All, you are generous, Master. I will take credits or ore in return, whatever you like better.”
“Half, half, Dressin. You wanna stay over night? Have a real meal and some company probably?”
“I would love two. A few hours probably. Need to go to Exyl today. The need someone to make a run, you know. Not many of us out here.”
“Not many of anyone out here, aren´t they?”
“Yes. But I heard...“

The dialogue broke up there for the droid left the reach to record the audio. The rest of the hour he sorted the newly acquired goods in the warehouse, until a human, Jenson Maire, told him to make a perimeter run. Gurrs had been sighted -- small, but aggressive native predators.

Protocol 2:

Unit 7 made a search of the colony perimeter without finding anything. As he returned to the village, he saw Jenson Maire and his beautiful young wife Alesia shouting at each other.
“You have brought us here on this forgotten rock! It was never my idea! You could have worked for my father, Jesnon! We would have a good life at home!”
“This is our home! Not the rotten streets of Belderone where I fly cargo for your criminal father!”
“He is no criminal! He is a businessman!”
“Yeah, if smuggling stolen goods is a legit business by now!”
“You damn idiot!” The young woman cam into sight of the droid. “What are you doing around my house! Go and work on something chunk.”
“YES MA´AM.” The droid returned to the maintenance station.

At one point the vision returned to a portrait of the street. Various inhabitants of the city were on the streets. Mainly Humans and Duros. The old Action IV of the Kubaz was still at the colony's landing platform. But behind it, one could see the shape of something else. It seemed organic. Cone-shaped and smaller than the transport.

The droid provided no further picture of it. He returned to maintenance and attached himself to the station for analysis. In the background again voices had been recorded.

“What he says makes sense. It feels right. You know what I mean, don´t you?”
“I haven´t heard him myself. But from what you tell me . . . it sounds idiotic. Why should we? Why?”
"You should listen to him yourself. Go, I take over the droids.”
“My shift Manson.”
“Go, Janson, go. You will see it makes all sense. Sense, when you hear him. You will feel it. We all felt it.”
Then the droid was locked down.

Protocol 3:

The third protocol was empty. It had no entries, for maintenance had still been under way.

Protocol 4:

Unit-7 was reactivated. Janson Maire again. “Listen Seven, I need you to do something for me.” He said, looking at the droid. His eyes were wide-opened, his voice nervous and he looked around. “I need you to take my wife and bring her to the plaza for me, will you? Tell her she is needed there. An emergency. Promise me. Then get back and help me packing, ok?” He smiled. “Do it. Do it. Do it. Now, seven.”

The droid was affirmative. He left the building and passed through a mass of people, all standing on the street looking at something that was at the end of the great plaza. Single voices were extracted, but most of them talked.
“Yes, he is right.”
“Of course, we should have thought about it ourselves.”
“Why haven´t I seen it.”
“When shall we go?”
“Do we all have place on his ship?”
“We need the Kubaz.”

He entered the mansion of the Maire family and found Alesia there, doing the dishes in a ultra-sound washer. “What is it chunk?” she asked.
“An emergency, Ma´am. At the plaza.”
“Oh my, have all gone mad? Show me!” She said and took a little package from the kitchen. Hurrying after the droid the doors opened and they saw the huge plaza filled with hundreds of people. Probably the whole colony. Someone was standing on top of the Action IV transport and spoke. What he said was almost impossible to hear, for voices filled the place. All in unison said again and again, that they understood now. A choir of understanding. The droid waited for the woman to make her way through the people, until she finally stopped and raised her head, listening to the speaker. “I think he is right. I understand now.” She said and smiled. The droid looked up and a scarred, huge creature came into sight. A Yuuzhan Vong.

He talked to the people in his own tongue, but everybody seemed to understand. The droid looked down and the Kubaz-Trader took his head and directed it at him.

Protocol 5:

“Listen droid, I need you. I want you to pack my payment and go before these crazies start dancing and celebrating, you hear? Your damned town guess nuts!” He snored and looked around. Even in an alien face like his the fear was obvious.
“AS YOU WISH SIR!” The Kubaz gave him some data input and the droid walked of slowly. To the second warehouse. He began taking up a box with ore and registered it as payment, as he had been instructed. Slowly walking of again. On his way out, two Duros came into sight, dragging an elder human female out of the warehouse.
“You cant hide. You must hear him!”
“NO I DON´T WANT TO! LEAVE ME! LEAVE ME HERE!” She shouted. The droids passed them, leaving them behind. Making his way through the people who now began to scatter.
A voice rang over them. “Take only the most necessary things. We won´t need to much. Food, clothes. Leave everything else behind. Leave everything else behind!” It was the voice of the major, now.

As he arrived at the ramp, the droid was blocked by people storming into the transport. They came from everywhere. Carrying baggage and pushing him to the side.
“What are you doing there?” A voice came from the side. It was Alesia Mere.
“BRINGING THE PAYMENT ON BOARD OF THE SHIP.” The droid answered and turned.
Aleisa held a blaster and shook her head. Violently moving it from one side to the other. “Cancel orders, we need that space, droid. We need that space. Bring it back. Bring it back and wait there!”
She shouted and waved with the blaster. In the background the Kubaz lay on the ground. Dead. A blaster wound in his head still smoking. Another shot was heard somewhere. The droid did what he was told, going back. People passed him, all on their way to the ship.

He went back to the warehouse, were another droid entered with the body of the Kubaz shortly afterwards. He repositioned the box and stood still. Waiting as he was told.

Protocol 6:

He waited sill. Only boxes in his sight. Far away one could hear ships taking of. The engines roaring. Then there was silence.

Protocol 7:

After ninety minutes the droid went to stand-by. Waiting for further orders.

Protocol 24:

They came, as a signal came in to return to the town-house. It was the one Yosiin had given him.

As the images ended, Yosiin looked up at the Warmaster again. "This happen about 24 hours ago. When saw a Yuuzhan Vong on the vision, decided come here. Do not think your people responsible -- but does Warmaster Choka recognise the Vong warrior in the recording? Any way tell who he is?"

"Greetings to you Master."

Bosa nodded his head to the small, hooded, Jawa. He had never met the Knight before he he had heard about a Corellian Master training one on Coruscant, but he thought of it like the rumor of the Ewok fighter pilot. But now that he saw the Knight with his own eyes, he might have to research that Ewok pilot. Bosa looked down towards the short Jawa and nodded his head, "Greetingz little Knight."

Not wasting any time, Yosiin took out his datapad and started showing the recording. Intreging....

Aya continued to drag Princess Sia away from the Dark Lady, while Ganner kept fighting her. She was glad, Sia didn't refuse to follow her. 'I'll excuse myself later for this...', she felt a bit guilty, being so rude to her Princess.

"What about Ganner? Shouldn't you help him?"

Aya sighed, when Sia asked the question she feared. She wasn't sure, what to do, Ganner was her friend, but it was her duty to protect the Princess. In addition to she liked Sia, she considered her as a friend, too.

"First you have to seek shelter, your Highness. Everything is lost if she gets you", Aya answered serious and added quietly: "Ganner is my friend, too... Do you really think I don't want to help him?"

As he watched in continued silence he kept a hand on his amphistaff, just in case of course, one could never be too carefull with a leader around an old enemy. Even if they claimed friend in recent times. As he watched the recording he sneered at the images as they played accross his vision, a perpetuating scene. "They act as though his words activate Yorrik Corral implants, that have been perverted to control not only the body but the emotional mind of infidels. But such does not exist, can you desern his caste-rank?"

Lady Rilwen, your update is already written, I just need to make sure it is accurate with current events.

Maleficarum
-Adumar, Flag Ship

Maleficarum was dazzled by the poor experience of the form the Knight had now shifted to, but it would only make her victory all the more sweeter. "Poor young Knight, you don't know what the hell you're doing do you? Juyo is a beautiful form, yet you make it look so deformed the way you hold your lightsaber." She didn't need to remind him any further that she had killed his master and that he was simply out of his league. She knew it, he knew it, and the Force knew it.

She stepped to the right, crossing her left leg over the right, then reversing by stepping to the left, holding her blade out to the right, open for an attack.

Young Ganner had to be shaken by her first mocking him with her words, then mocking him with her movements. Two Chiss stepped out beside Ganner, holding their blasters out, in firm placement, trained on the Dark Lady. They didn't need the Force to tell them when they could shoot or when to wait. To them it was a foreign language and from what they had heard of it and they didn't understand. But they did have instinct and they were trained by the best to be the best. Their firmness was shocking even to Maleficarum.

They began to fire at her repeatedly, but not just outright firing, they were using what seem to be code with their blasters. Ganner was close and could probably pick up on their routine. When one shot once the other turned his blaster to the right and shot twice, then the other would fire low twice which made the other turn to the left, fire once, then high once.

They were making her play catch up with their shots in a circle. If Ganner timed it right, he would have an opening.

Further back, Marasiah Fel and Aya Merasi had a view of the scene perfectly. It was a small moment of clarity when hope came out, but they could probably feel the tide shifting once again. Maleficarum had been randomly deflecting the blaster shots earlier, but now she was more controlled with her deflections and it became apparent when a blaster bolt pierced the head of the Admiral not five feet away from the Princess. His body fell with a thud near the Aya's feet, but they didn't have a time to feel shocked before more blaster bolts were being sent their way.

IC: Nas Choka, Yammka

The Warmaster of the Yuuzhan Vong scowled, and a low growl flew from between his lips. "I recognise his caste. A priest. A priest, collaborating with the enemy!"

Nas Choka finished off with a roar. "Betrayal! The only reason we lost the Yuuzhan Vong War, lost our Galaxy, lost the first Yuuzhan'tar....betrayal in our own ranks." His amphistaff seemed concerned, sensing his aggression and wondering who to strike.

The Warmaster snarled. Regardless of Kiar, Bosa or the small Jawa, he was furious. A Yuuzhan Vong Civil War would allow the Empire and Sith to crush Yuuzhan'tar. Worse, with the Tofs and Chiss active, and the Yuuzhan Vong cut-off from the Alliance, they were trapped with many enemies.

"This treachery will not be taken lightly!"

His lightsaber hissing, and Maleficarum staring at them both, Ganner Krieg spoke, softly. "Princess, you know the truth. We cannot defeat this spawn alone. Only together, with the Chiss and Aya, will we defeat her, and avenge our Master.

And, with that, he launched himself at the Sith Lady, wondering if he would ever do soemthing this rash every again.

Deep in the Unknown Regions...

Caven was right to expect danger was about and around him. If he would search the Force long enough he could probably feel that the change of course wasn't an act of the moment, it had been a plan, for their was nothing but calm, firmness in the Force. Two light blue blurs appeared behind the Sith's cloaked vessel at 30 degree angles, making him dangerously in their range of fire. Whether they had saw him or not was not a matter now to contemplate about, he best be diverting his attention into moving his ship out of its current spot it was in for the crafts behind had fired.

As the Warmaster ranted he felt his own blood boil, he knew he needed a realease if he was to keep his wits about him. "Repay we must, with full weight and mind! No wonder they say the gods are silent, when it is only them that keep their lips tight dividing themselves away!" pulling his hands closer to his side he squezzed till blood ran dripping onto the floor.

Aboard the Yammka

"This is Arag Krell." Came a voice from behind. One of the guards, wearing his brand-new vonduun armor and his amphistaff curled at his side, stepped closer. "Forgive me, my Warmaster, Master Jedi, Shaper." He said and looked down. "But I know this priest. He is from Domain Krell. A full Priest in the Temple of Yun`Yuuzhan and he was on the Reroriss, a recon-frigate that has vanished near the Tof-Spcae only two weeks ago. I thought I should let you know." He bowed his head. Fearing he had made a terrible mistake.

The man was a middle aged Vong, wearing the living coat of a priest, but standing on top of a machine. nobody could understand how unnatural such sights were to Vong. But the man now identified as Arag Krell felt obviously nothing like this, while preaching to the humans in their language. Most sacred Vong texts werenßt even translated . . .

OOC: Some input while waiting for last responses. If you check where your recon.firgate vanished, you will find it´s between the assumed Tof-border and Sector 556

IC: Yosiin clan Yusekat

Aboard the Yammka
Yuuzhan'tar Orbit

Yosiin had to admit he was glad he'd never had to face down a Yuuzhan Vong in combat. One didn't need the Force to either sense the fury coming off these individuals -- or the fact that the Shaper next to the Warmaster was drawing blood from himself. The fact their amphistaffs were thrashing with excitement would have been cause for fear in itself, too.

But the Jawa wasn't afraid. It might have seemed strange to an outsider, considering his species' known cringing, cowardly nature -- but Yosiin had been Isatz Hademach, outcast among his own people, and faced pain and possible death many times. And then, of course, there was the Jedi training, which had blended so seamlessly with his consciousness.
When the emotions of others become the storm, you must be the storm's eye, Master Carreri had taught, and Yosiin had never forgotten it.
Even if he'd had to look up what a storm was; the Jawa Jedi had never seen rain until one of those very rare days on Coruscant.

So the Jawa was able to calmly stand there as Warmaster and Shaper raged their anger against the priests and possibly their whole caste. For a second he feared he'd closed one storage pod only to open another; civil war within the Yuuzhan Vong was just as likely to bring suffering as was war with other species in the galaxy. But then one of the guards stepped forward and offered his insight into the identity of the Vong warrior on the recording.

And in the eye of the storm, Yosiin thought back to the scene on Caudron and to one of the Warmaster's comments. When he saw Warmaster Choka and the Shaper pause for breath, he offered a comment: "Warmaster: the word of warrior might mean whole priest caste not involved in uprising 'gainst you. Might mean this ... Arag Krell as hypnotised as rest of colonists. On Caudron, Yosiin discovered evidence of strange events in or around sector 556. Do not know that sector -- unknown space on my maps. But Warmaster Choka also spoke of an "enemy" -- does any foe of the Yuuzhan Vong come from sector 556? And does any opponent known to you people have ability to control mind as might be here?"

Bosa eyed the Warmaster suspisiously. Their Galaxy? Their first Yuuzhan'tar? Last time thiz one checked they were ours before they were even born.

He then heard both the gaurd and the Jedi Yoslin speak, and made the conection. "If thiz Arag Krell was on the recon frigate. Thiz one belivez that iz where our next stop should be then." Unlike the small Jedi next to him, he didnt care about forming his words in a way that was most pleasing to the Warmaster. For a race of warriors, they sure seem to act beuricratic with all their procedures. Even he wasnt bold enough to say that out loud.

OOC; If anyone is going to strike the gaurd I call dibs on grabing your hand and saying something about how the Warmaster just said fighting between the ranks is how you lost the last war. I didnt know if anyone was going to strike him or not, and its kind of weird having you say you struck him or killed him, and next post I say you didnt. tongue

He looked from the warrior back to the image, “Krell?” relaxing somewhat he took a step back the group and the Warmaster. “Then he must be controlled and no traitor, he could not be as he is no more aligned with the priests then us.” noticing the questioning looks and the questions that must come if not of the overly inquisitive jedaii then from the Warmaster. Hoping that they might not come but resigning himself if he was pressed and had to spill he stood nearly at attention awaiting the inevitable replies.

Meanwhile . . . on Ye´Yuuzhan Tar

"What do you mean, the Priests have barricaded their doors? They have cut through the opening nerves of their entrances and now are prisoners of their own temples?" The High Prefect Du´kar Krell could hardly see any sense in the things his aides were reporting.

He looked around to find Arn Aknor, his aide and presumed spy for the Priests, but coulnd´t find him. Little liar, he only thought to himself.

"And they haven´t left a clue why they have isolated themselves, or at least how long they intend to withdraw their spiritual guidance from our people?" The High Prefect asked. The other Prefects shook their head. With a wave of his hand he send them out. he had to speak to the Vorryn. His spying-device overheard everything within´the Vong community. Probably it would give him a clue what had happened.

With thinned lines of warriors all those not accepting leadership of the Shaper´s had been drawn towards the Priests. And if their caste was plaanning anything it could be directed only at two possible targets. The weakened Warmaster or the High Prefect himself.
