RE: * Dark History: Tears of the Force *
IC: Zaydin Ven
Docking Station One, Wayland
Now that he had some peace and quiet, Zaydin was finally able to read the scroll in silence...or at least what he could read anyway. It was a document, or at least that's what he thought it was. It was difficult to read, the language hard to make out and it was just plain impossible for him to read every detail that the document contained. Whenever he got the chance, Zaydin made a mental note to study such archaic forms of writing and other languages. He couldn't expect everything that he read to be written in simple basic such as these materials...especially if he ran into any Sith text.
He still had an idea about what the document contained though. The Jedi were apparently charged with safe passage and - he squinted his eyes as he studied that last part - tutoring. Of who or what, that was the easy part as it could only be talking about Anna. But who, exactly, was supposed to be tutoring her or where she was supposed to go it still remained unknown-
//IM SORRY!!//
Zaydin actually seemed to lean over the side at the mental blast, as if it was actually a physical blast that battered into his very body. It battered into his mental shields anyway, which he had made sure to reinforce after Anna's first broadcast when they found her. The broadcast still caught him off guard either way and the Knight immediately turned to look over at Anna to see the small child crying again with Alexia already trying to comfort her.
Regret and another mental berate was aimed at himself as he looked at the child who no doubt reacted at the tension and - who was he kidding? - outright argument that he and Straven had just had. He hadn't thought that Anna would pay any mind to them, her seemingly inability to speak having made him even forget about her presence. But now it had just been proven to be the exact opposite and he feared that, with how powerful her broadcast was, that anyone could be picking up on her now.
Alexia seemed to take the reins of the situation as she comforted Anna, outlining her plans. As she did so, Zaydin figured that it was time to leave now so he gathered the items back into their pile and took them in his arms to carry back.
"but if we brazen it out, we could probably get away with it. I may be able to disguise her presence in the Force and discourage anyone from paying us too much attention until we get someplace safe. Unless one of you has a better idea...?"
"I'll be back," Zaydin replied to Alexia, moving quickly to the back to the bunks, and more specifically his bunk. His pack was still atop of it and Zaydin immediately went over to it, dropping the items next to it before he opened the pack. Shuffling past the medkit and rations aside, his hand found the feel of plastine which he immediately grabbed and pulled out, revealing two plastine pouches that held his spare clothes and cloak and protected them from the elements.
Working quickly, he opened the pouches and pulled out his spare cloak from one pouch and his shirt from the other. Putting the cloak aside, he laid out his shirt on the bed while he opened the container that had held some of the items from before. He put the scroll and holocron in the container before placing the container itself onto the shirt as well as the datapad that had the message. The ring he kept in his pocket with the photo and flimsiplast that he had put there. Taking his shirt now, he folded it around the container and datapad before placing both into the plastine pouch that held his cloak and resealing the pouch. Hopefully, if his pack or the pouch itself came into any unfavorable hands, the said persons would take no interest in the contents when they only saw his shirt that hid them from view.
Satisfied, he placed everything back in his pack except for his cloak. Shouldering the pack and taking the cloak in his hand, the Knight ventured back into the seating area to Alexia and Anna.
"This may help with hiding her," Zaydin spoke when he returned, holding out the cloak and looking between it and Anna as he studied and tried to guess how much he would have to cut his cloak to the proper length for the girl.

IC: Damkor Kirido
"Yes you may join me. I doubt even I could sleep after discovering that I wasn't quite on the top of a planet's food chain. Speaking of which yes I did bring some extra rations with me...here." he said as he handed the young padawan a small package of food and a small thermos of water. "It's not much but probably more than you've had in a while." Damkor said with a small smile. "So Tai-gen, have you any idea why this portal popped up and sucked you in?" Damkor said reclining in a nearby chair. "Myself, Jin Rei, Vin Yadel and I were headed to a Sith world for a recon mission of sorts, or so I believe. Perhaps if you can tell me more about what your prior mission was things may begin to clear." he added.

IC: Straven Fermare
Shuttle
Straven leaned back thoughtfully as Zaydin and Alexia filed him in on the situation. He still felt that they had left something out, but he was content with the knowledge thus far. He'd get the rest out of them sooner or later. He just needed to make them see that he could be trusted. He frowned as he realized that that would be much harder to actually do.
Straven had dropped his gaze from the girl as he withdrew into himself, focusing on how he would gain his companion's trust. His mental barriers dropped as his thoughts dominated his mind. He was taken so unprepared by what came next, that he visibly flinched.
//IM SORRY!!//
The thought... the emotion... it slammed into Straven like a brick wall. He was caught totally unprepared, and by looking around he could see that the others possibly were too. The sorrow and the grief was such a tangible thing.... Straven couldn't comprehend how anything that small could produce a projection through the Force that intense.
What happened next surprised Straven even more than Anna's exclamation of sorrow. Straven completely expected himself to be angry at the child. There was nothing for Anna to be upset about, and certainly there was no reason that she should be so vocal about it. But Straven did not find himself angry. He felt his heart melt in his chest as the little girl broke into tears. Straven had not been around children that much in his life. He didn't even particularly like them. However, he found his very soul wracked with grief that he had hurt this little girl so. His surprise grew as he spoke.
"No. No, honey. It's not your fault. Don't cry." His voice was soothing, and he caught himself by surprise. He began to think about that again, trying to figure out exactly why he had said that. He remembered having no conscious thought in regards to those words.
He was pulled from his thoughts as Alexia began discussing how they would find the others and keep Anna hidden. He listened calmly as Alexia detailed her ideas. Straven sat silently as Zaydin stood, moved to the bunk areas, and came back shortly after, brandishing his cloak. He suggested that the cloak might be used to hide the girl.
At that moment, a thought came to Straven. Straven almost laughed as it struck him. A mischievous smile crossed his lips. What a good idea he had had. When he spoke, his voice reflected the humor that he found in his idea.
"I have an idea.... though I'm not sure if you'll like it." The smile moved to his eyes now. He figured that the other two would be wondering what he found so amusing. He waited only a moment before continuing. "Where is the best place to hide something... or someone?" He paused only for a moment, intent on going on before anyone could answer. He didn't need an answer anyways. "In plain sight." He added. "Now, it will look strange for three Jedi to be toting around a small girl. I can see that. However, how truly odd would it seem that two Jedi, their friend, and
their
child be seen together?" He emphasized his point where he thought it would be most effective. "Certainly, the other Jedi would know that none of us had a child, but would any others? How much would they pay attention to a couple and their child? If I am not mistaken, they will be looking for a child accompanied by adults with no relation to her." He shrugged now, ending his thought. Now, to see if they liked his plan.

RE: * Dark History: Tears of the Force *
Jin Rei Amarant, Jedi Knight
Syth Village, unknown planet
Jin Rei
entered the
Speaker's
with
Vin Yadel
at his side and asked if all was well.
A moment later, Speaker appeared. She gave a smile and a nod yo Jin Rei and also to Vin, who had followed Jin inside.
"Greetings, Avenger." Speaker said as she looked at Vin. She then turned towards Jin. Who had blinked in suprise several times after hearing the Speaker address Vin as 'Avenger'. What did she mean by that?
"All-Father is fine." the speaker intoned, drawing the Jin Rei from his reverie. "It is those of your family clan, who have need to speak to you. We know that your time is short."
Family Clan!?? Jin Rei tought, once again caught by surprise by unexpected phrases. A Family Clan implied that he had relatives... that he was not alone in the universe as he'd once thought.
A young girl about perhaps the human age of 15 or so, and a younger boy stepped out from around a curtain. The offered a tenative smile at Jin Rei, who returned the their smile candidly.
"Hi there..." he said in casual greeting, which was more out of his diplomatic training than anything else.
"Follow us, please." the young girl said, with a smile. Vin looked over at Speaker, and then at Jin, who looked at Vin with questioning eyes.
"I'll be here..." she said soflty.
Jin Rei nodded in understanding as the Speaker's words echoed in his mind.
We know that your time is short.
"This shouldn't take long..." Jin Rei commented and nodded to Vin as he followed the young girl and boy to wherever they were leading him. For a second he wondered if they were siblings, or even if they were related to him. What were their names.
Suddenly, anxiety mixed itsef with nervousness within the Jedi Knight as thoughts of meeting a family that he'd never knew was apparently about to become reality. What strange feelings he found himself having, feelings he'd never experienced before.
And just as suddenly as they had appeared, Jin Rei disappeared behind the curtain as he followed his young guides, leaving Vin Yadel to contemplate their immediate future.

Wayland, The Spacer's Port
Kiev Lourraine
followed the girl back to the bar. When she turned around, he assumed a stance of aloofness. Nonchalantly he shrugged and reached his hand up to touch her cheek.
"I see something I like, darling."
Kiev smiled sweetly. He let his hand drop and leaned against the bar.
The Twi'lek smiled, letting her lekku curl around her, as she watched Kiev. She brought a finger to her lips, as Kiev looked back towards her.
"What's there to do around here, huh?"
he asked the girl.
She put town her tray, and smiled back up at the man. "Well, that depends, on what hobbies you looking to get a fix for." she said, leaning on the bar, her back arched slighlty.
She held up her well manicured figures, as she thought of some places. "Well, depending on your likes, theres Dren's Gambiling Den down the street, they bet on almost anything worth betting on." She paused for a moment. "Gerties' for if you want some more...VERY friendly type of companions for the day..." The twi'lek smiled, then continued. "Oh yeah, there is a new place. Very techie place, holovids, and all kinds of stuff in there, from what I hear. I've never been inside. On the other side of the port. Dont remember the name, but you would know it if you see it. And then there is...Carlie's place..." She lowered her voice a bit, as the bartender set out some glasses, and laid a platter full of food on the bar.
"Carlie's a rough place. can pretty much get whatever you want in there, but you might not come out the same way you walked in...if you know what I mean..."
She looked up at the bar. "Well, looks like your order is ready. What table would you like? she asked him, while deftly scooping up the tray in one hand.

Ziost – Caverns
Chade
was startled with the sudden whiteness of this new cavern, and it took him a few moments to realise that it appeared to be snowing. The air was cold enough to fog his breath but he didn't feel it. As he looked around, he saw someone step out. But this was no old man, but a youth. He appeared to be barely out of his teens. The youth gestured around them, in the huge area.
"What you see is what is happening here. Ziost, shall become a cold world. But it wont die. What little that will survive, will become something even more deadly than one it is now." The youth gave a slight grin. "Like the Sith themselves." The young man tilted his head slightly.
"You seek the old man. He's close now. Like our world, he too is changing. But he has something to complete before he can continue on. As do you."
The youth held up a hand. "You seek his audience? Then you must show me your worth."
The ground around Chade began to rumble slightly.
"I grow weary of my presence causing the ground beneath my feet to quake in terror."
Chade hissed at the youth.
"How must I show my worth? Must I survive whatever power you have unleashed? Or shall I have the pleasure of your death as well?"
The young man stepped forward. "If that is your wish, but then you will never reach the old man. And it is not I who have caused the ground the quake, but the old Master. I told you, he too is changing." The youth continued to walk, slowly, yet confidently, until he was face to face with Chade, well within his strike range.
"I am not your challenge. From here on, the only challenges you will face, are the ones you bring with you. I am merely hear to 'SEE' if indeed you are worth for him.
The young man stood, looking at Chade silently. Chade could feel the darkside move powerfully. Against the white snow, it was a strange setting. The young man's eyes seemed to change, gaining a silverish glow to them, as he looked at Chade. Images could be seen, events that had happened to Chade since he had been on Ziost. Several of the other Sith, that he had not seen since, he saw them die. The room was quiet, except for the sound of breathing. Then young man then spoke, stepping away.
"You may enter."
Cade watches as two trees begin to move. They seemed to reach down, and peel back the snow between them. Now, in the middle of all the snow, there was what looked like a very lush and lavish room.
"Come in...." a new voice intoned. This voice was very old. And from the stench of the Darkside coming from the area, powerful as well.

Dead Dog Cantina, Tanaab
Mikhal
Now had a name to match the face. Zelt Bozier. Hmm, wondered why the bidder was so hot to get this guy back. Maybe he took a pic he shoudlnt have? Oh well, didnt matter. Mikhal would get paid any way. His handler had told him the bounty was for 6 figures. That was ALIVE. it was only 3, if the guy was dead. Another annoying fact. But that might change, once Mikhal got to Wayland. Sometimes the stakes, made the money flow, just to get the guy, no matter what. And if it was true, that they had already lost 2 hunters on this guy, then it was likely the stakes would change.
Mikhal stopped in front of a collection of old and unused garages. It was there he had his own little hiding spot. Mikhail knelt down as he ran his hand across the floor searching for something, then he felt a handle hidden in the darkness. Pulling on the handle a small room was below him, flicking the light for that room it revealed Mikhail's large assortments of weapons he had gained over the years. He collected the weapons he needed for this, along with other parts and equipment. Packing them neatly into three cases, his next task was the get to a spaceport and head towards Wayland. But customs wouldn't allow weapons through, but he bet he could find a couple of fellows willing to overlook the rules for a small price.
The spaceport was busy, but as if it was a surprise. He walked into the closest bar, the
Spacers Port
.
"You wouldn't happen to know of any pilots wanting to earn some. "Extra" credits?"
He asked the bartender, while a twi'lek was busy chatting with a customer.
"Well, that depends on de cargo..." the bartender said slowly, as he looked at Mikhal, slowly cleaning a mug as he looked over the man.
The bartender hesitated, as if he was perhaps waiting for something....

IC: Alexia Rivers
Docking Station One, Wayland
Alexia eyed Straven and Zaydin thoughtfully, still cradling Anna in her arms. Straven's idea had some merit, though it was essentially a more detailed version of Alexia's plan. But with detail came problems ...
"Hmm," Alexia said slowly. "We'd have to pass her off as a non-Jedi child, rather than a Jedi child - our younglings don't exactly come on missions, even children of Jedi." Alexia was half-amazed that she was able to speak with such calm certainty; she vividly recalled wanting to follow her mother on missions as a small child, but this time the memories caused her no grief. "Disguised as ordinary people, though ... I have a set of civilian clothes and a Republic ID chit to go with it, but do you? Either of you, I mean. And we'd have to come up with a plausible cover story ..."
The other snag: if they used Straven's plan, she'd have to play the mother, and she didn't look quite old enough to have a child Anna's age. On top of that, they looked nothing alike. Alexia wished she'd thought to bring a makeup kit, but even if she had, it would take too long to change their appearances to match.
Alexia drummed her fingers on the armrest. "No," she said abruptly, shooting Straven a half-apologetic look. "It's not a bad plan, and could work if we had a full disguise kit, an ID fabricator and several hours to prepare, but not on the fly. Besides, if we drape her in Zaydin's cloak, she won't appear to be a human child at first glance - we can claim she's a Sullustan or something who doesn't speak Basic. Three Jedi and a cloaked non-human - a slicer, say - would attract less attention than a Jedi and a young couple with a child in tow."

IC: Zaydin Ven
Docking Station One, Wayland, Shuttle
"I have an idea.... though I'm not sure if you'll like it."
Zaydin looked over his shoulder in Straven's direction, listening to his plan...and no, he didn't really like it as a plan to follow through on, and not just because he saw what could possibly be a hidden intent for Straven and Alexia to be this fake couple. It was, as Alexia started voicing out, much more complicated then it would be to just drape a cloak over Anna and hope for the best. Just because Anna would be a small, cloaked individual didn't necessarily mean that she was a small, human child.
"It is a bit creative," Zaydin voiced as Alexia finished, his voice's neutral tone masking whatever he had felt about the plan, "but just a little too complicated to work very well."
The Knight looked back down at Anna, made the final mental measurements as he turned to look at his cloak before putting his lightsaber to work as he unclipped it from his belt with his free hand, sliced off a bit of his cloak to shorten it, and immediately clipped it back on.
"Simplicity will probably work best for now," Zaydin agreed while he knelt down in front of Anna, pulling his cloak around the girl as he worked to fasten it. A sense of familiarity struck at Zaydin as he fiddled with the cloak and for a moment another memory came unbeckoned. His role was suddenly reversed as, in his mind's eye, he was standing still in one of the rooms back at the temple on Coruscant, having just come of age to be taken as a Padawan. And someone was fitting a cloak around him, the same woman from his previous memories, though years younger and...happier. The war was still years later as mother fitted her son with the traditional garments of the Jedi, a mark of his ascension from a simple student to a Padawan.
Her hands dropping from his shoulders, the woman took a step back and Zaydin could still remember his own pride at the honor he was being given to take a step up into the Jedi tradition and his will to try and please his mother as he stood straight and still, waiting for her acceptance and her own pride and love that she had for him. He received it as she smiled before kneeling down and wrapping her arms around him, this time in a hug that he returned.
Zaydin snapped out of it and found himself staring at Anna, the cloak now properly fitted over her. A smile appearing on his face, Zaydin grasped the hood of the cloak and pulled it up over Anna's head and, as he did so, allowed a small wave of the love and security that he had felt back then to flow from him and to Anna. Her outburst, most likely caused by him and Straven, was still fresh in his mind and Zaydin had to remind himself of the specifics of Anna's situation and what she must be going through instead of her abilities and possible impact of this whole thing. Her parents probably dead, being with strange people, danger clearly evident. She was still a child.
He knew how that was like; he had been in a similar situation when he discovered that the only two people in his life that he had ever deeply cared about had been taken away from him.
"I'm sorry Anna," Zaydin spoke, giving the top of her head a gentle rub as he finished pulling up the hood and standing up. Sorry for her situation, and sorry for having made it worse.

Of Kiev Lorraine
Wayland, The Spacer's Port
Kiev sifted his new information around. He might need to check out Carlie’s. He was in the market for some good cigarras or a few sticks. Which ever got him glassed quickest. He wanted to avoid hard spice, though. He had gotten over that awhile back and wasn’t eager to return. Maybe, he could get this Twi’lek to give him a tour. He grinned inwardly. Outwardly, he shrugged.
“Which ever gives me the best view, honey.”
Kiev threw out his most charming smile. If he could hook this girl soon, he might be able to space this joint and hit up Carlie’s that night. It all depended on the will of the Twi’lek and the direction her moral compass ticked.

Wayland, The Spacer's Port
Mikhail entered the first bar he came across on the planet, if there was any place to start his search it would be here. He would contact his supplier once he had a drink. He surveyed the bar for a while taking in his surroundings, checking for anything that could give him a lead for this,
Zelt Bozier.
'New place. Very techie place, holovids, and all kinds of stuff in there'
Mikhail wasn't eavesdropping but he could hear the Twi’lek talking to the customer, that had caught his attention. It slotted into the description of his mark. Rather than interrupting those two, he turned towards the bartender. Who's view was fixed behind him.
"Hey. You wouldn't happen to know about this new place around here would you?"
He didn't respond straight away, Mikhail didn't even think that he noticed him. "
Hey! You expecting something?

IC: Daemon, Angelo
Somewhere
The streets were pretty abandoned at this hour during the day. Angelo was trudging back to the cantina where he was meeting his partner. It figured that the place they had to go was not accessible from where they were currently.
Trudging was a new thing for Angelo. As a Jedi, he had always been straightforward and proud. Always walking tall and straight. A symbol of justice, if you will. Trudging along these streets felt somehow wrong to him. But he continued it anyway, if only to forsake what he once was. Had he never left the Order he might of even been a Master by now. But that life was long gone. He gave up the Jedi because of their ways. The life was not easy, he could live with that. But it was the beliefs that got to him constantly. How Jedi rationalize things to fit their own ends. A bit of "Ancient Wisdom" had an answer to everything in their book. But Angelo was no fool. Not then and not now. Though he sometimes acted like he was mentally vacant...he was constantly aware of his surroundings and what was going on. He was good at reading between the lines. This business on Zoist didn't sit well with him and he was sure that Daemon was the same. But it was the next paycheck and that was how they got by.
Angelo walked into the door and stopped for a moment, his Force senses told him that his partner was at the back of the dark area and he could feel every object and living person between here and there. But Angelo waited for his eyes to adjust, because he didn't like relying on his senses in the Force these days.
As they finally dimmed enough for him to make out faces, he saw Daemon nod in his direction, a subtle chin lift was all it was. Daemon, of course was in his normal state of observation, his longsword leaning against the booth by his shoulder, a cup of steaming tea in his hands. His red eyes scanning the room before him. Angelo slinked through the crowed and plopped on the cushion across from his friend, with his back to the room.
"Thats a no go on the tickets. No one or thing is flying to Zoist from this system."
Angelo's hand twitched. But it was a subtle movement, one that anyone looking would mistake as scratching his leg.
Daemon nodded as he sipped his tea.
"Well it was worth a try. We might find a spacer here that could take us.. but I doubt it. That is a very dangerous place right now.. How do we get there? We both don't know how to pilot a vessel, so buying one is out. Maybe we should link up in another system with someone to take us?"
A burly looking human had noticed them come in and decided that they looked like they had a lot of money on them. Which was, in point of fact. True. He and his buddies were observing the two cautiously. The biggest of which, began pushing through the crowd with a dirty smirk on his face, he was reaching for a long thick blade strapped to his back and began sliding it out as he neared the duo.
"I don't think that that is entirely out of the question. However I think it would be in our best interest to get there from here if at all possible. It isn't good business to be late for a contract-that would be a real bad life decision slick...."
The man stopped 5 feet from their booth, confused. His eyes had been on the dark looking one sipping tea the whole time, it was loud enough in the cantina to have covered his footsteps and the dark one's eyes had been glued to the ceiling in thought. There had been no indication whatsoever of his approach and yet the man who had had his back turned, had known he was coming. The man quickly changed his assessment of their skills from null to moderate.
"Seeing that you are sitting down, are outnumbered, and have no weapons in sight, I would say you should just hand over your wallets. I don't know how you knew I was here but that doesn't matter."
He spoke with mock confidence as his friends came up behind him. They were grinning stupidly as they walked up but immediately changed expressions and began to try and pull their friend away. He shrugged them off.
"So lets have them. Nice and slow if you please."
"I apologize for being rude sir. But you should leave right now. My associate and I were having a conversation."
"Ask me if I care. If you want to get carved up, keep talking."
Daemon chuckled slightly and quickly placed his tea back on the table, reaching immediately for a white cloth napkin and began dabbing at a dribble that had escaped his mouth as he grinned confidently.
"Sir I have neither the time nor the patience to instruct you. But it appears my associate has already resolved our small dispute."
Angelo hadn't even looked up. He hadn't moved. The man, confused by this, began to get angry.
"What are you talking about? He has been stock still ever since I got up!"
His friends began tugging a bit more insistently, still he shrugged them off. Daemon gave a small grin and lifted his chin again, indicating the mans torso.
He looked down and dropped his large knife immediately.
A red dot was painted stock still on his chest, right over his heart. His eyes traveled the length of the beam and found a silver slugthrower tucked neatly behind Angelo's back. While he didn't like using his Force senses... they did have their benefits. Precognition being one of those.
"Sir... if you please.... Shoo."
CHK CHK CHK
"Yeah.. yeah sure I'm going... sorry to have disturbed you two.. please excuse me."
Daemon began to smile politely as he sipped his tea once more.
"What a polite man. Now... about these travel arrangements..."

Description of Anna's clothing is from Ktala over IM.
IC: Alexia Rivers
Docking Station One, Wayland
Anna seemed to have calmed down. Alexia gave her a gentle squeeze and set her down so Zaydin could fit his spare cloak on her. As she did so, Alexia couldn't help but notice that her clothing was rather ... odd ... for a child so young. She was dressed simply in an ordinary, nondescript tunic, but under that was an expensive-looking chemise. Curious. Most curious. Where
was
this kid from?
Zaydin used his lightsaber to shorten his cloak, then swirled it around Anna. Its length was perfect, although she was naturally swimming in the sleeves. He stared at the child for a long moment, then mussed her hair gently and pulled her hood up.
"I'm sorry Anna,"
he said softly, and stood up.
"Anna," Alexia said quietly. This was going to be a bit hard: how to make her understand without scaring her? "We're going to take you someplace safe, but you have to stay quiet and stick close to us, okay? Don't talk to anyone, or- or use your mind to say anything. The bad guys might find you. It's like a game," Alexia added impulsively. She didn't want to distress the child, but any outburst could endanger her if sensed by the wrong people.
With that, Alexia stood and placed a hand on Anna's shoulder, gently steering her to the ramp.

"We're going to take you someplace safe, but you have to stay quiet and stick close to us, okay? Don't talk to anyone, or- or use your mind to say anything. The bad guys might find you. It's like a game."
Zaydin stepped away once he had finished putting his cloak over Anna and was already moving towards the ramp of the shuttle by the time she and Alexia were moving as well. He wanted out first and take a good look outside to make sure that there wasn't anyone that may take too much interest in a Republic-marked shuttle and, more specifically, Anna. Hopefully his cloak would be enough of a disguise for her to keep out of anyone's specific interest.
He was sure that his senses would allow him to pick out any hostile intent or anything else that may be suspicious directed at them; being able to sense out things was his specialty and he had been able to achieve feats such as detecting one's intents before. He just hoped that his senses wouldn't fail him.
Moving to the ramp, Zaydin started to make his way out, his senses immediately stretching forth to encompass himself and his companions, ready to detect anything dark that may be directed at them.

OOC: Im breaking the update into small posts, so expect many!

Vin Yadel's Spaceship, Unknown planet
Damkor Kirido
responded to the young man's query.
"Yes you may join me. I doubt even I could sleep after discovering that I wasn't quite on the top of a planet's food chain. Speaking of which yes I did bring some extra rations with me...here."
he said as he handed the young padawan a small package of food and a small thermos of water.
"It's not much but probably more than you've had in a while."
Damkor said with a small smile.
"Thank you Master!"
Tai-gen
responded, as he tore into the package of food. Damkor continued,
"So Tai-gen, have you any idea why this portal popped up and sucked you in?"
Damkor said reclining in a nearby chair.
"Myself, Jin Rei, Vin Yadel and I were headed to a Sith world for a recon mission of sorts, or so I believe. Perhaps if you can tell me more about what your prior mission was things may begin to clear."
he added.
Tai-gen slurped down some drink, and looked up at Master Damkor. "Well.." he started slowly, putting away the drink. "Our prior mission? Master Traya and I had been sent to Ziost. We were suposed to get to one city, but when we got on the planet, we found out that things werent quite so quiet as they thought. There was somebody out there, hunting down Sith. My Master said we had been sent to retrieve something, but she wouldnt tell me what it was. So I just made sure nothing snuck up on her." He put the drink down, making a sad face. "She went...she went into this one room, and when she came out, she had a funny look on her face. Like she had seen a ghost. I asked what was wrong, she woudlnt tell me. When I tried to take a peek, she stopped me." Tai-gen shook his head. We left so fast after that, you would have thought the entire Sith army was after us. She woudlnt say a word, except that we had to get back to the enclave as soon as possible.." Tai-gen, put his head down, as he drew up his legs.
"Thats all I know.." he added softly, starying out in the space in front of him.

Syth Village, unknown planet
Jin Rei
entered the
Speaker's
with
Vin Yadel
at his side and asked if all was well. Speaker assued him that it was, and that he was called back for another reason.
"It is those of your family clan, who have need to speak to you. We know that your time is short."
Speaker informed him.
"Follow us, please."
the young girl said, with a smile. Vin looked over at Speaker, and then at Jin, who looked at Vin with questioning eyes.
"I'll be here..."
she said soflty. Jin Rei nodded in understanding as the Speaker's words echoed in his mind.
"This shouldn't take long..."
Jin Rei commented and nodded to Vin as he followed the young girl and boy to wherever they were leading him.
The young girl gently took his hand. She looked over at him, and smiled.
"Hello Jin Rei of Bre'tor. My name is Nati and this is my brother, Kresh. We're also of the clan, Bretor, just like your father Ja'keem. Our father, is your fathers brother, and he is the one who wishes to meet with you."
she said smiling, as she lead him to a hut, almost as large as the speakers.
She gave Jin another smile,
"Dont worry. They know of you."
She pulled back the curtain, and gestured for Jin rei to enter. From the entrance, Jin Rei could see one elderly looking Syth, sitting in a chair, surrounded with several females, and young children all looking wide eyed in his direction.
"Welcome, Come in." the elderly voice spoke to him, a slight smile on his face.
"Come in and meet your family."
...
Meanwhile, back at the Speakers tent, Vin Yadel looked over towards the speaker.
"How long does the Siren think till the moment comes?"
Yadel gave a nod and smile.
"Not Long."

Saintheart
Sharadon Docking Station, Wayland
Cho-Shai Adimus
felt the strength, as the Force cry passed through him, and then, the Force was silent once more. He glanced around, but nothing of his sudden disorientation seemed to have leached through to his behaviour; no sense of curiosity about him specifically. He turned and moved as though he had some purpose to his behaviour, walking in roughly the same direction as the other soldiers.
Cho-Shai reached into the Force, and in the midst of its flow, reached out to the minds of the soldiers escorting the mysterious cargo towards the larger of the structures closest by. He targeted as best he could the officers amongst the group, deciding it was unlikely the low-level soldiery would be told the details of something that seemed secret even from them. He gently slipped into their minds, trying to ascertain some truth about the cargo they were moving.
Cho-Shai felt many conflicting orders within the minds of the officers. Several had no idea what was in several of the crates. Some thought the items were simply food and military supplies, or else why guard them so hightly? Still another officer felt it might by something more than just simple supplies. He had served with the Captain on the previous campaigns. And he knew one small truth. Big boxes generally did not bode well. But since they had not been informed of anything, except where to put them, and to guard them for now, he could not really come up with any other ideas about the crates.
And there was one officer..Cho-shai realized with a start, they he could read NOTHING from the officer.
It wa as if he was not there.
Cho-Shai's comlink informed them that the second half of the Jedi team had arrived on Wayland, and were now moving towards a point, so that they teams could meet.
A secondary beep, informed Cho-Shai that the healer
Alkresh Rynatak
, was knee deep in wounded, situated about 5 miles on the outskirts of town. The area was secured, but many injured from other areas, were flocking to his site. But, if he was needed, he could be there quickly, he also added, before he signed off.

Alarmed at Anna's mental outburst,
Alexia
looked down at the crying child. Oh,
"Shh, it's okay,"
Alexia said, picking her up again and hugging her gently in her lap.
"It's not your fault, Anna. Don't be sorry. You're safe now, we'll protect you."
She layered her words with the Force, attempting to project a soothing sense of confidence and safety.
Straven
reacted to Anna's outburst, He felt as if his very soul wracked with grief that he had hurt this little girl so. His surprise grew as he spoke.
"No. No, honey. It's not your fault. Don't cry."
His voice was soothing, and he caught himself by surprise. He began to think about that again, trying to figure out exactly why he had said that. He remembered having no conscious thought in regards to those words.
Alexia seemed to take the reins of the situation as she comforted Anna, outlining her plans. As she did so, Zaydin figured that it was time to leave now so he gathered the items back into their pile and took them in his arms to carry back.
"I'll be back,"
Zaydin
replied to Alexia, moving quickly to the back to the bunks, and more specifically his bunk.
"This may help with hiding her,"
Zaydin spoke when he returned, holding out the cloak and looking between it and Anna as he studied and tried to guess how much he would have to cut his cloak to the proper length for the girl.
They thought of several way of how they could hide their young charge, and get to where they needed to go. Disguises, hiding themselves, and even posing as a couple, were all brought up...and just as quickly tossed away. Alexia felt that she could extend her cloak to hide Anna as long as the child was close to her.
Anna had calmed down now, and was busy sucking her thumb, as she watched the Jedi at work. She seemed to be intently watching, but she stayed silent.
The Knight looked back down at Anna, made the final mental measurements as he turned to look at his cloak before putting his lightsaber to work as he unclipped it from his belt with his free hand, sliced off a bit of his cloak to shorten it, and immediately clipped it back on.
"Simplicity will probably work best for now,"
Zaydin agreed while he knelt down in front of Anna, pulling his cloak around the girl as he worked to fasten it.
Anna broke into a wide smile, wipping her eyes, as she held out her arms, so that he could put his cloak around her.
And Zaydin received a response. It was a mental hug, that seemed to flow from her, back to him, as she now looked at her clothes, and then back at him, with a grin.
"I'm sorry Anna,"
Zaydin spoke, giving the top of her head a gentle rub as he finished pulling up the hood and standing up.
"ss'Kay..." Anna replied so softly, there Zaydin almost swore that the voice didnt come from her. But she had spoken.
"Anna,"
Alexia said quietly. Anna turned to look at Alexia, eyes bright.
"We're going to take you someplace safe, but you have to stay quiet and stick close to us, okay? Don't talk to anyone, or- or use your mind to say anything. The bad guys might find you. It's like a game,"
Alexia added impulsively.
Anna made a shuush..face, bringing her finger to her lips, as she nodded with understanding.
With that, Alexia stood and placed a hand on Anna's shoulder, gently steering her to the ramp. Anna held out a wet hand towards straven, as if to include him, wanting to hold his hand, as they started to leave the ship.
Anna stopped, and blinked, at the top of the wrap. She squinted her eyes, and yannked at her hod, before she started walking once more, this time close to Alexia. She stopped when the group stopped, and she was silent, as she waited for them to pick a direction to go. There were all kinds of people moving around at the docking station, and Anna's sharp eyes were darting about, as she watched all the movement around her.
