IC: Alexia Rivers
Docking Station 1, Wayland
The faint pulse cut off. Alexia could only hope that this meant Master Adimus had caught her message; she retreated back under her Force shroud and waited. Straven was talking to the stall vendor, freeing her to look around as if vaguely interested in the various shops - but even alert as she was, she didn't see him until he was right next to the stall.
"Nice day,"
came the nonchalant comment. Alexia turned and very nearly did a double-take - he had doffed his Jedi garb for a nondescript Republic trooper's uniform, complete with a - hat? He adjusted said hat as he spoke, shielding his eyes from view, but it was unmistakeably the Jedi Master.
"Wish I could find a nice cantina somewhere, though. Hey, would you happen to know one?"
Alexia fought down a wince. Clearly Cho-Shai Adimus' talents did not lie in either Corellian accents or picking up strangers.
"We passed one on our way in, I think." Alexia made a show of looking for it, even though she remembered exactly where the cantina was - noting as she did so that Zaydin had returned - and pointed in its direction. A cantina was as good a place to meet as any; if it was reasonably busy, the noise inside would cover their discussions from casual eavesdroppers. "Ah - over there, isn't it?"

IC: Daemon/Angelo
Somewhere, Cantina
Daemon stopped as the beggar came closer asking for money. The red eyed man fought of every instinct in his dark body to simple end the miserable wretches life with a sweep of his sword, the sight of the man naturally disgusted him.
But in the back of his mind, Angelo appeared. What would Angelo do in this situation? Daemon was trying desperately to rid himself of his dark tendencies. It was a slow battle in and of itself but he was confident that he could do it with practice. Daemon wanted nothing more than to cleanse his soul of the evil atrocities he had committed while with the sith in training. So instead of dispatching the beggar. He reached into his pockets and pulled a few mismatched credits known in this particular worlds economy, and placed them gingerly in the hands of the man. He mustered a forced smile and was on his way again. Daemon made it to the hotel after a nice comforting walk. He would likely have to take a taxi back. His and Angelo's supplies were simply too much to lug that distance. He could easily heft it all in the Force and walk back, but advertising that he was adept in the Force was not ideal right now. Besides, they had a window on Zoist. There was no telling how long it would be open to eliminate their target.
He walked into the plaza of their hotel and into the turbolift that brought him to the floor his room was on. He was about to unlock the door when he found it was already cracked open. His Force senses exploded to life as his left hand raised the katana horizontally, right hand high on the hilt and pressed tightly against the cloth, his fingers spread wide and not yet gripping the handle, ready to rip the steel free in an instant.
Daemon crept into the room and had his eyes flicking around left and right, up and down looking for traps of any sort.
------------------------
Angelo meanwhile, had just finished cleaning his two main weapons and had begun to reload bullets into empty magazines as their new contact ran into some trouble. He continued pushing bullets into the mags as his head turned in mock interest at the scene. His blue eyes scanning the hardware that the suiters were carrying. His turned back to his guns with a smile on his face muttering to himself.
Angelo set two full magazines straight up on the table and pulled back the sliders on both of his pistols. He was making sure that he was making a lot of noise. Angelo plastered an annoyed look on his face and turned to the men attempting to harass their possible ride.
"Hey... pal....I don't think the lady wants to talk to you."
Angelo slammed both fists down on the table, allowing both pistols to slide down onto their ammo filled magazines. The impact rattled the table and all of it's contents, creating enough noise to bring the attention of the cantina to him.
He stood and held both pistols at his sides.
"It is pretty ungentlemanly of you to pull a blaster on a woman....why don't you try that with me? Because if you're after a good time with her..."
A flick of his thumbs sent the sliders forward and pulled a round into both chambers with an audible clack. Angelo's eyes went wide with a slightly crazed look in them, a bright smile spread on his face, a very un-jedilike look and attitude.

Jin Rei Amarant, Jedi Knight
Syth Village, Clan Bre'tor Hut
Jin Rei
took in every word that
Ak'hem
, his wife and
Jasca
spoke, and through the already burgeoning familial force bond, his understanding of those words were enhanced. With the Force assissting their communication, Jin Rei's immersion was nearly as deep as when he'd had that vision back on the ship. The one he believed the crystal
Vin Yadel
had loaned him to aid in his meditations had caused. This time however, there was control and understanding, not panic and desperation.
Jin Rei was nearly overwhelmed by what he was learning. About his past. About the Sith. About the Jedi.
The deception and treachery of the Sith. The callousness of the jedi.
They burned the planet of their ancstors?? Mixing of blood?? Diaspora? Exile? Near genocide?? Unspeakable acts indeed...all of it!
But, Jin Rei was in danger? he could not understand how...but, but.... so many questions.....he had so many....
"Our time is almost over. But now if there are any other questions you would have of us, ask quickly."
Jin Rei nodded firmly, gathering his thoughts.
Ak'hem waved his arm, and
Jasca
and
Airya
stood and left the room. Ak'hem spoke quietly now.
"The Siren has informed me, that you will need to be very cautious when you leave. What you trusted before you might not be able to now. I don't truly understand all of what she showed me, but I know you have to be careful. I have no wish to lose you now that I have finally found you again." Ak'hem hugged Jin tightly and he returne dthe gesture. He was now part of the Bre'tor family. His strength was added to theirs, and their strength to his.
"Now hurry with your questions, for your friends are waiting for you."
"I understand." Jin said, thoughtfully. He needed to ask the right questions now.
"I'd like to know the name of our home planet, but more importantly, I want to know about the
Siren
. How do I meet her? And I want to be an
Avenger
like
Vin Yadel
, like my mother, unless that task falls strictly to women. If that's case, then I'd like to become the male counterpart. Only three clans survived those atrocities. They need to be protected, and I want to be a protector...."
Jin Rei's purple eyes suddenly adopted a fierce expression, then softened as he looked almost pleadingly at
Ak'hem
.
"Can you help me?"
Jin Rei knew if he was to become more, then he would have to trascend his current teachings and understanding of the Force and the Universe.

IC - Cho-Shai Adimus
Docking Station One,
Wayland
Cho-Shai made a show of peering over at the entrance to the cantina and affecting a look of relief. "Ah. Great. Course, it's always good to get a table in the
back
of one of those places.
All
the girls hang out there. Don't know why; it's like they don't want to be
seen
, y'know?"
It was a great pity the Jedi had never come up with a good vocal recognition code, but hopefully she'd figure out that he was both indicating a good rendezvous point and asking why in the name of Drax's Moons they were concealing their presence in the Force.
At the same time, the Force around him had rippled twice: with a burst of interest in one case and a shimmer of recognition in another. Looking around nonchalantly, he recognised Zaydin Ven from only hours earlier on Coruscant -- and only a few steps away, Straven Fermare.
Well, well. That was a useful plus to the mission; it had been a while since he'd fenced with him, but the young Jedi had left an impression on Adimus. Damned impressive with his Makashi, both in the duelling ring and in the blood and adrenalin and fire that was Jedi combat on the battlefield.
There'd been a particularly nasty firefight at the Gate fortress on Tannhauser III. After the Republic pushed them off Koros Major, the Sith had been sent reeling back across the sector; both Adimus and Fermare had been dropped in as part of the first wave on Tannhauser to keep them from reforming their army on that system. There'd been many casualties, both Jedi and Republic soldiery -- and they'd mainly won because a strike team of Republic troopers had blown the fortress's main reactor, eliminating the backbone of the Sith tactical defences. Straven, Adimus and three other Jedi had held the main entrance into the reactor against the Sith counterattack when the enemy realised what the strike team was up to. Only Adimus and young Fermare had survived that, the other three Jedi giving their lives to hold the door until the charges went off and the reactor blew in a fireball that lit up the sky. Adimus distinctly remembered Straven's flicking blade, back and forth,
perfect
Karavas,
perfect
Ny'kil, every strike drawing blood, his robes singed from blaster bolt after blaster bolt, but none finding their target.
Yes, Straven's presence here was a good sign.
Cho-Shai wanted to give each of them nods of recognition, but the situation was still an unknown, and he ambled off without ceremony to the cantina, finding his way to the front door and within, intending on locating a dark booth somewhere in the back of the place.

Alexia nodded.
Back of the cantina, got it.
As for the other part - "It's always more comfortable at the back. Especially for beings like our friend here - the light is strong enough to hurt his eyes." She gestured at Anna as she spoke. "He's had to keep them covered since we've landed."
She hoped Master Adimus would get her meaning. Or sort of, at least - she thought of past missions with her mother, communicating fluently by glances and aborted gestures, and missed her even more.
The disguised Jedi Master ambled off in the cantina's general direction, and Alexia turned back to Straven and Zaydin. With any luck, they would have both caught the exchange - then once Straven had purchased a pair of goggles for Anna, she could 'suggest' they stop for a drink at the cantina.

Docking Station One, Wayland
As they walked towards the vendor,
Alexia
became aware of a faint pulse in the Force. Here, here, I'm here. Both the signature and method of contact was familiar, for she had 'heard' it only hours before back in the Jedi Enclave's meditation chamber:
Master Adimus
himself. He was on his way - but why announce himself?
They were nearly at the stall. Alexia shot
Straven
a quick look, a silent request that he handle the vendor.
This would be the hard part. Making sure to keep
Anna's
presence masked as best she could, Alexia took a careful breath and reached out with the Force towards the approaching Jedi Master. 'Over here', she whispered.
The Force rippled outward from Adimus, the pulse continuing. For a few, unguarded moments he wondered if he'd gotten it wrong -- and wondered if he was walking into some sort of trap. There was just nothing, no Force sense-- Over here, came the ripple in the Force, subtle enough that he might've thought missed it. But the sense, so familiar in his mind -- for two reasons -- was unmistakeable. Alexia Rivers.
He snapped his eyes over to the source -- there. That small vendor, and the robed figures there. Realising what he'd done, though, he immediately turned his eyes away, pretending to examine a nearby stall for a few brief moments. At the same time he whipped his mind away from the Force, letting the ripples stir to nothingness. His eyes scanned the booths around them. They were concealing their presence in the Force; were they, then, the bait in some sort of trap?
Cho-Shai stepped away from the stall, flicking glances, ambling across the small square in a nonchalant way that he hoped suggested he had no real intention of being where he in fact ended up - next to Alexia Rivers. He flickered a glance over the stall, and then over she and her companions, before turning back into the body of the square, looking away from her. He leaned against a support pole, adjusting his Republic trooper's cap against the sun.
"Nice day,"
he said nonchalantly, doing an appalling job of the Corellian accent he'd adopted.
"Wish I could find a nice cantina somewhere, though. Hey, would you happen to know one?"
he asked Alexia.
Alexia fought down a wince. Clearly Cho-Shai Adimus' talents did not lie in either Corellian accents or picking up strangers.
"We passed one on our way in, I think."
Alexia made a show of looking for it, even though she remembered exactly where the cantina was - noting as she did so that Zaydin had returned - and pointed in its direction. A cantina was as good a place to meet as any; if it was reasonably busy, the noise inside would cover their discussions from casual eavesdroppers.
"Ah - over there, isn't it?"

She gestured at Anna as she spoke.
"He's had to keep them covered since we've landed."
Zaydin
meanwhile, had moved away, towards a group of beings, focusing his attention on the holo-vid screen, Zaydin forgot all about Koros Major for the moment...and frowned when the screen just seemed to bring about other problems.
MARTIAL LAW ON WAYLAND!
Republic forces in orbit around Planet.
Final purges of Ziost and outer Ring
Zaydin's hood hid the frown that now appeared on his face as he listened to the rant that he and the crowd could clearly listen to. And he sensed and saw how the crowd took in the words and used it to fuel this sudden sense of distrust, fear, and even hatred that Zaydin guessed was directed at the Republic and, in extension, the Jedi.
He decided that it was time to leave the area of the spacedocks, before the crowds got ugly, he immediately turned and walked quickly back to where he had left the others. He looked back to the vendor that had been selling the goggles and saw Straven and a tiny, hooded form that could only be Anna next to him. A moment later he found Alexia and...there was an extra standing next to her.
Straven still held Anna's hand as he walked over towards the vendor, who seemed rather pleased that they had taken an interest in his wares.
"Well, travelers, what can I get for you this fine day?! My wares are small, but honest!"
Straven turned to the vendor.
"Yes, fine sir, this one here,"
He gestured to Anna,
"has extremely sensitive eyes. His species is not very accustomed to light at all, and I am afraid we did not realize this would be a problem until we landed. I noticed those sun goggles there,"
Straven gestured next to the goggles that were his goal,
"And am interested in purchasing them. How much do they cost?"
The vendor nodded, as he reached out, and snared down the googles that he had pointed towards. He could feel Anna move closer now, as the vendor held them out for Straven to look at. "These are a decent pair. They will shade the eyes from sun and sand. Give me .." He paused a moment, as if interrupted in thought. And then just as quickly, continued on. "Five creds, and they are yours sir."
As soon as the money had exchanged hands, the vendor was all smiles once more, as he tried hawking his wares to other passerbyers.
She hoped Master Adimus would get her meaning. Or sort of. The disguised Jedi Master ambled off in the cantina's general direction, and Alexia turned back to Straven and Zaydin. Ak'hem looked at Jin for many long moments, before he slowly nodded his head and spoke. "The Syth homeworld is known now, as the world Korriban. But do not go there. Not yet. It is a powerful world...but it is a world of the dead. But it was once our homeworld. The others tainted it, and it is now only a name in the past to us." Ak'hem sighed deeply. "As for the Siren..if she wants you to know more, she will contact you. And believe me, you WILL know of it." Ak'hem smiled at this. "She knows you know, and considers you one of her long lost children. She will probably seek you out soon. No distance is too great for her."
Ak'hem rubbed his chin abit. "As for the Avenger..well, on that you must speak to the one whom you brought with you, for only she can tell you of such things. I have ever only seen the female, but I am sure there are others." Ak'hem eyes twinkled then. "That you wish to be a protector, is something I am glad to hear you speak. For it was feared that you might reject us. That your teaching would blind you from us, But now, I see the wisdom of the Siren, and I am certain that she would honor your request."
There was a presence growing nearer, and now even Jin could recognize it as the Speaker. A polite knock, and then the curtains moved to show that it was indeed the Speaker standing near. Vin Yadel was with him.
"We must go." Vin said softly. "My ship just informed me that her com has suddenly become active. Someone is trying to reach us." She then smiled as she gave a polite bow towards Ak'hem.
"Be'ba"...she spoke, and Trala took off into the forest, in the direction of the ship.

said looking out the viewport of the ship, he knew that it was important for Jin to meet with his family, or so he could sense, he could feel that Jin Rei had discovered something about these people that caused a deep well of joy to spill forth, the kind of joy that only a family can bring. He especially wondered what Vin Yadel was up to, the enigmatic person that she was, he wondered whether she would return here or visit the village first.
"Well I don't know about you Tai-gen but I'm going to turn in for a bit."
Damkor said with a yawn and a stretch.
"Do tell me if anyone, or anything, shows up."
he added as he headed toward his sleeping quarters.
Tai-gen
have him a grin, and nodded as he sat munching slowly on the food he still had in his lap.
It was perhaps an hour or so later, when Tai-gen came running towards Master Damkor's sleeping area, and he was all excited.
"Master Damkor!...The Com system. Its activated! I can hear a message...its very faint...but it mentioned your name!.." Tai-gen replied breathless. "I think someone is looking for you!"

Daemon crept into the room and had his eyes flicking around left and right, up and down looking for traps of any sort. At first, he saw nothing that looked out of the ordinary, until he too a few steps in. Then he saw a female body slumped over the bed. She was still breathing from what he could see. Suddenly, his Force senses kicked in, as he realized that someone else was in the room, and moving, not towards him, but away from him, at a very fast speed. He could see hat and some type of figure in a long coat, who was speeding towards the window, at a pace that would make Daemon hard pressed to catch up.
And if Daemon dreew too near, the figure had a pellet in his fingers, just in case....
Angelo
meanwhile, had just finished cleaning his two main weapons and had begun to reload bullets into empty magazines as their new contact ran into some trouble. His head turned in mock interest at the scene. His blue eyes scanning the hardware that the suiters were carrying. Nothing as impressive as his, as far as he could see. His turned back to his guns with a smile on his face muttering to himself.
As the female had turned her head to give them a cold look, Angelo could see that the bartender was quickly moving out of the way, an look of sheer terror on his face.
That little corner of the cantia grew quiet now...except for folks who were taking bets. The woman now had an interesting look on her face, as she watched Angelo with interest.
He stood and held both pistols at his sides.
"It is pretty ungentlemanly of you to pull a blaster on a woman....why don't you try that with me? Because if you're after a good time with her..."
Angelo's eyes went wide with a slightly crazed look in them, a bright smile spread on his face, a very un-jedilike look and attitude.
"......I'll give you all you want big boy......"
A few patrons snickered at the remark, while a few others were manuevering for a better view. The whispering had faded, and the two men Angelo were staring down, seemed to be weighting their option. One of them looked as if he was going to say somthing, but whatever it was was never heard. Angelo could feel a warning flicker within the Force, as the man with the drawn blaster decided to let his fingers do the talking.
"Scraffing Narg!" the man screamed as he began to blast away. His weapon Angelo now had a up close and personal chance to notice, was set for a very WIDE beam. A blaster version of a scatter gun? Perhaps, but it was something that Angelo was going to have to deal with immediately.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the woman was moving now, and she was a blur of motion.
Literally.
Other patrons went diving, blotting her out of view. Besides, Angelo was a bit busy at the moment.

Hotel/Cantina
Daemon's teeth clenched as he saw the figure running for the window.
Steel cleared it's tight prison and the sheath hit the floor as both hands raised at the same time. His right hand firmly gripping the sword and raising it into the air in a guard position behind his head at a backward angle. His left hand reached up to the window and ripped the glass free, shattering it into huge sharp chunks. With these he pulled backwards and sent the shards flying to the fleeing persons arms and legs. After that his left hand was immediately on the sword and Daemon was ready to swing down to decapitate anyone. For the moment he ignored the woman on the bed, she might be faking for all he knew. But he kept her in his peripherals.
Daemon simply began to walk forward cautiously, ready to defend himself.
-----------------------
A wide beam blaster?! Angelo hadn't seen that coming but the Force gave him ample time to react to the situation. There was a blur of motion but Angelo couldn't pay attention to that now. The beam neared him in slow motion. Angelo threw his head and body backwards and spread his legs to the sides as he took himself down to the floor. When his back hit the floor, both pistols were blazing at his attacker.
Four loud bangs. Four lead bullets soared towards the shins, left arm and the hand holding the wide beam blaster. With any luck he would drop the blaster and drop on his face, out of the fight.

IC: Damkor Kirido
"What?!" Damkor said leaping out of his bed. "Whatever you do do not respond. They could very well use the transmission to track us here. I made a solemn oath not to disclose this location under any circumstances and I mean it." he added as he ran over to the cockpit, trying to hear the transmission. "Let's just hope they haven't located us yet." he added as he started to adjust the communications array in order to clarify the message. "It's still to garbled for me to understand fully, but the only people that would want to contact me would be either the Council, the Senate, or the enclave on Arkania. None of which would make sense at the moment." he added as he took a seat still straining his ears to hear anything of more importance than his name and a few random quotes.

IC: Straven Fermare
Docking Station One, Wayland
It was torturous for Straven to keep his eyes intently on the merchant. He wanted to observe the interaction he was barely aware of occurring between Alexia and Master Adimus. While his eyes and smile were wholly the merchant's, his ears were paying attention to little but Alexia's conversation. He picked up that Adimus wanted to meet the two of them in the back of the nearby cantina. That was easy enough to figure out. His attention was drawn away as the merchant spoke to him.
"Five creds, and they are yours sir."
Straven nodded and smiled warmly. That was a little more than he felt like paying, but they were really in no situation to debate the price right now.
"Certainly. that sounds reasonable enough." He reached into his cloak and quickly withdrew five credits. He handed the money to the merchant, who put it away and proceeded to hand Straven the goggles. Straven nodded his thanks as he noticed the merchant now moving onto other customers. Straven now knelt down next to Anna--releasing her hand as he did so--and handed her the goggles, offering her what aid she needed in getting them on. As soon as they were securely concealing the liquid gold eyes beneath, Straven stood and took the girl's hand again. He turned to Alexia, who was standing near to him still. She had just said farewell to Master Adimus. That was clear from the back of the retreating master that Straven could see. It was not long before the Jedi Master slipped into the cantina.
Straven turned next to Alexia. He noticed Zaydin standing a slight ways off. When he spoke, Straven's voice was low, but conversational and normal. "Now that we have that little oversight taken care of, what should we do? We still have a few hours until our meeting with Antonius." Straven hoped they would get what he was doing. He was just trying to fill the empty space with false information for anyone who might possibly be taking an unhealthy interest in him. Antonius was a name derived by a few of his comrades during the war to use when referring to other Jedi in this context. It worked well, and was only known to the four of them. Of course, Alexia and Zaydin wouldn't get the significance of the name, but it was the only one Straven could think of off the top of his head.

RE: * Dark History: Tears of the Force *
Jin Rei Amarant, Jedi Knight
Syth Village, Clan Bre'tor Hut
Jin Rei
did not fail to ask
Ak'hem
his questions, but he was not expecting the answers to be so... astonishing. Everything about this mission seemed to be extraordinary.
Ak'hem looked at Jin for many long moments, before he slowly nodded his head and spoke. "The Syth homeworld is known now, as the world
Korriban
.
K-korriban?? Korriban was their homeworld!??
Even though Jin Rei kept silent and continued to listen, he'd almost opened his mouth and stammered. His violet eyes did grow wider though.
"As for the
Siren
..if she wants you to know more, she will contact you. And believe me, you WILL know of it."
Jin nodded affirmatively and smiled inwardly.
"She knows you now, and considers you one of her long lost children. She will probably seek you out soon. No distance is too great for her."
At this, Jin did smile. If the Siren did possess such vast powers of communication, then he'd never be too far from his family.
Ak'hem rubbed his chin abit. "As for the
Avenger
...well, on that you must speak to the one whom you brought with you, for only
she
can tell you of such things. I have ever only seen the female, but I am sure there are others."
Once again, Jin almost blurted out a name, but triumphantly managed to stay composed. He knew exactky who the Elder meant. He was speaking about
Vin Yadel
. That realization galvanized the Jedi Knight. There was a chance, though he imagined it to be a small one, for him to learn more about the Force, and maybe become something more... an Avenger. Perhaps....perhaps.
Jin nodded in uderstanding, then turned to face Ak'hem once again.
"Kwa heri, Mjomba." Jin Rei said to Ak'hem as he clasped the elder's forearm and drew him into a short but strong embrace.
"I will honor our family name and the memory of our people, our ancestors." Jin nodded firmly and stepped back.
"I shall make you proud and I will protect this place, with the Siren as my guide."
Jin Rei gave the traditional bow, then respectfully turned and exited the Bre'tor hut and followed Vin back to their ship.

IC: Alexia Rivers
Docking Station One, Wayland
Alexia turned back just in time to see the vendor hold out a pair of goggles.
"These are a decent pair. They will shade the eyes from sun and sand. Give me .."
He paused for a brief moment as if lost in thought - but not so brief as to pass below Alexia's notice - and quickly added,
"Five creds, and they are yours sir."
The pause set Alexia's mental alarms ringing. She glanced at Straven, who had agreed readily to the price and was now kneeling down to put the goggles on Anna, releasing her hand as he did so -
kriff
. He had been holding her hand the entire time. Her small, very
human
hand. Alexia sifted rapidly through her memory - could the vendor have seen? That would have blown their cover story straight into space. Right now, with her arms at her side, Zaydin's robes covered her hands easily, but earlier ... no, that pause had likely been the vendor deciding how much to charge ...
Straven stood and turned to Alexia. His tone was conversational and normal, though he spoke softly.
"Now that we have that little oversight taken care of, what should we do? We still have a few hours until our meeting with Antonius."
Alexia gave no sign that she'd never heard of an Antonius. "There's that cantina we passed on the way here," she said lightly. "Why don't we grab a drink while waiting?"

OOC:
You people get your own planet to mooch off of!
Zaydin Ven
Wayland, Docking Station One
Meet up at the cantina,
Zaydin had mentally translated as he listened to Alexia and Cho-Shai. In truth, the Knight had taken a couple moments to figure out what was being said; he wasn't used to having to speak in the kind of code that had just been used between the other two Jedi. Actually, now that he thought of it, he hadn't had a partner during the missions he had undertaken to require such a code to be spoken between them. He just always used to work alone when he was given a mission.
When Cho-Shai moved off to the cantina, Zaydin focused his attention back on Straven and Anna in time to see the vendor name a price which Straven paid for before the goggles were given to him and he placed them over Anna's eyes. Good, hopefully with the goggles they won't have to worry about Anna's eyes somehow giving them away.
"Now that we have that little oversight taken care of, what should we do? We still have a few hours until our meeting with Antonius."
Within the shadows of his hood, Zaydin couldn't help but raise a brow slightly at the name Antonius, the name unfamiliar to him. He just brushed it off though as just a made-up name to create for this coded conversation.
"There's that cantina we passed on the way here. Why don't we grab a drink while waiting?"
"I could use a drink," Zaydin replied and turned in the direction of the cantina that Master Adimus disappeared into before making his way to it. The whole thing with the news report on the holo-screen was still in his mind and he wanted to get out from the open for the moment.

IC: Straven Fermare
Docking Station One, wayland
Straven stood there holding Anna's hand, watching the other two with interest. They showed no sign of being shaken by his use of a perfectly made up name, though that was hardly surprising. Both of his companions had had more intel experience than Straven himself. He didn't know much about the two, but he at least knew that. Straven idly wondered how much of what they had done behind the scenes had translated into keeping him alive during the war. An interesting thought.
When it was suggested that they head to the cantina, Straven quickly understood why. That is where Master Adimus had shambled off to, and clearly he wanted them to meet him there. His conversation with Alexia was clear enough on that regard. Straven shrugged as Zaydin agreed to go meet for a drink.
"We need to kill some time, so I guess so." Straven said nonchalantly. "We need to meet Antonius outside of town in three hours, so we might as well enjoy ourselves until then." He silently moved off to follow the other two as they made their way to the cantina. He found himself wondering if it was actually wise of him to be using such false information. At any rate, it was too late now. He'd just have to hope for the best.
It suddenly occurred to him that a young child was still holding his hand. They were going to a cantina. Would a child be allowed in? Certainly, Anna could pass for one of many small sentient beings, but would it look suspicious if she were to be discovered, trying to be sneaked into a cantina? Or would they not care? At any rate, they had little choice now. Besides, with three skilled Jedi Knights, they should not have a problem getting in without incident. Straven relaxed and followed after the others, letting his eyes take in his surroundings as he walked.

By the way, Ktala says we can just walk into the cantina - though I suppose we should let Cho-Shai get there first.
IC: Alexia Rivers
Docking Station One, Wayland
Alexia nodded and turned. "Let's go, then," she said brightly. She brushed past Straven, although he was not quite in her path to the cantina, and murmured in an undertone hopefully just loud enough for him to hear, "Drop the hand - looks suspicious."
She hoped he would understand why, or barring that, that he would not question her. If they were to pass Anna off as a nonhuman adult, even a little detail like holding her hand could blow the story to anyone observant whether or not her hand was covered by the super-long sleeve. Perhaps, perhaps not, but Alexia would rather not chance it.
"I hope we don't have trouble finding seats," Alexia continued in a more conversational tone of voice as they strolled towards the cantina.

Straven was walking towards the cantina when he felt Alexia brush past him. He felt his heart illogically race slightly, but quickly surpressed it. This was no time for thoughts and emotions like that. Alexia's barely audible words helped to focus his mind.
"Drop the hand - looks suspicious."
It took Straven a moment to figure out what she was talking about. He cast his eyes quickly around, trying to figure it out. He then realized that he was still holding Anna's hand.
He hadn't thought much of it before. As a matter of fact, he had hardly noticed it. For some reason it seemed so natural, that Straven had failed to think it might be suspicious. He silently cursed himself. Smoothly, he pulled his hand from Anna's and reached for something inside of his robe. He really just checked his saber, made sure it was there, and then pulled his hand up to scratch absently at his neck for a moment. He then tucked his arm into his robe in a relaxed manner. They were nearing the cantina now, so Straven was being very careful to observe everything that he could. For some reason, he felt a little more anxious not holding Anna's hand. He couldn't figure out if that was because he felt a lack of security without her hand in his, or if he was merely concerned for her safety and holding her hand better aided him in keeping her safe. This failure to differentiate in his mind disturbed him.
