Disciplines (this shall be assigned to you)
Vigor rank 1: This Discipline makes Jack superhumanly strong. Spend 1/4 of all Vitae. This lasts for the whole scene.
Touch of Shadow (Obfuscate •): This power allows Jack to hide small items in her grasp or on her person. Even if someone is looking for the item on his person, the power keeps it hidden.
Mask of Tranquility (Obfuscate ••): Most vampires feel a flare of fear or anger — the Predator’s Taint — when they meet another Kindred for the first time. Jack, however, doesn’t cause that effect in other vampires, though he does still suffer from it and can thus recognize other vampires. Jack may “turn off” this power if he wishes.
Clan Weakness (Mekhet): Jack’s Kindred body is cursed to be even more sensitive to fire and sunlight than most. If he is exposed to these anathema of vampiric existence, he suffers one more point of aggravated damage per turn than other vampires
Willpower: 8
Vitae: 15
Blood Potency: 4
Humanity: 7
Biography: Jack was born on coruscant, but unfortunately for him was given up by his parents and sent to live in an orphanage. He was adopted by a human couple who took him in as their own son. He grew up with them for about 17 years. As he was growing up he showed a tremendous aptitude for technology and at the age of 10, was a certified genius with anything technical. He was enrolled in the Republic Academy and this was his first year in. He went to the festivities of Republic Day, and partied all night. He never knew that the one girl that showed interest in him would be the last girl he would ever kiss as a mortal.

GM POST
Stenton Carrios, Kira Sarken, Jack Lightweaver
Loft of the Darrios Nightclub, the entertainment Sector
You all open your eyes and look around. Your vision takes a moment to clear, but you can hear people and music — the sounds of Republic Day (or night by this time). It sounds distant, though; you don’t seem to be in the main Sector any longer. The night is cool, and you feel a breeze flow over you from the north. It should chill you, but you do not shiver or feel goose bumps rise. The light from the street lamps seems distant and hollow, and your clothes feel cold and rough against your skin. Something is different, something is terribly wrong, but you can’t muster the feeling of fear or outrage. You do feel something, though. You feel hunger.
You glance around and see two other people picking themselves up from the ground. You feel a momentary flash of anger and fear, as though recognizing a threat in each of these people, but the feeling passes after an instant, replaced by the gnawing hunger.
Vasud Sokaris, Vidal Dastchell
The Mansion of Lord VIdal Dastchell, the Republic Sector, Penthouse A
Vasud had awoken that night to his Lord being up early. It was barely 8:00 standard time, an hour after sundown. He had entered into the Large sitting room from the basement of the building which housed the various caskets that the few vampires that resided in the house would sleep in. Lord Dastchell, however looked like he had been up for at least an hour. He was sitting in a large lavish chair, with its back facing Vasud. He was staring out of the large bay window, prayer beads in his hand. He was silently praying to the Deity he worshipped. Praying for what, Vasud didn't know. But Vasud did know that something was wrong. Dastchell was not usually up before midnight. Before Vasud could ask his Lord what happened, however, Dastchell spoke.
"Three have been turned without consent," he said, his voice quiet but full of annoyance and anger. It was known that in these troubled times it was a grave offense to make another a vampire without the consent of a high ranking Vampire advisor. Dastchel was holding a ring of prayer beads in his right hand, fingering through them as he often did. He was a highly religious man, beleiving in only one entity that he simply called the Creator. He had explained to Vasud before hand that the idea was not very far from the Droid's idea of "The maker." Dastchell believed that this entity created the entire universe and watches over all. He also explained that he believed that this creator also created the force and it is his will that Jedis and Sith hear, not the force's.
"John is going to fetch them," Dastchell explained, referring to another high ranking Vampire who masqueraded as a Jedi Master and a religious figure in Dastchell's religion during nights. "He shall bring them to the Church of the Creator. You shall go fetch them there and bring them to me."
"John?"
Vasud asked his Lord, unsure of the action since John had shown disloyalty to Dastchell before.
"I do not discount his disloyalty, Vasud," Dastchell said as if reading Vasud's mind. He had not read it, however. He had simply known Vasud's response before he said it because it had been uttered from his lips so many times before. "However, he is trustworthy and cares about people. He is the best man for the job. Now you shall go and meet them in one hour's time. Now leave me. I have servants to attend to."
As if almost on cue, a young girl, maybe about the age of 18 came down the stairs into the large room they were standing in and walked over to Dastchell. She was dressed in a very beautiful, tasteful dress with various floral patterns on it. She climbed up onto him and sat on his lap, laying her head on his shoulder. As she did so, Dastchel, bent her neck gently and bit into it, his fangs piercing her flesh as she whimpered in pain. A few seconds of feeding and Dastchell stopped. The servant's wound's healed quickly and she got up off of his lap and walked off to sit on the large couch in the middle of the room.
"Why are you still here?" Dastchell asked Vasud. "I told you to leave."
Hurakan
The Republic Sector
Music was pumping from hundreds of speakers all over the republic sector. Hurakan was looking around from the shadows for various targets. He had not fed in four days and was growing weak. Despite being a vampire for so long, he had tried to stay with his Sith training, with horrible results. Not only did this make him more intimidating, but it made it almost impossible to grab a target without them screaming and calling hundreds of guards their way. The Republic had so many guards out for the republic celebration this year that it was ridiculous. Celebrations were lasting almost for a week and a half now and Hurakan was thankful this was the last night of it. AFter this he would be able to go back to feeding on a good schedule.
As he stood from the shadows he saw a young human female, running by him in joy, a few friends at her side. He looked around and saw too many guards.
If only it was easier than this,
he thought to himself. He would ahve to learn to be less intimidating in the future.

RE: Force: the Requiem
IC: Vasud Sokaris
The slender Morganian listened in silence to the words of the only Master there was left in his eyes. His one protest had been simply an old query, repeated many times before, born of his mistrust for John. He averted his eyes as Lord Dastchell summoned into the room a servant. No sense watching one who was the property of Lord Dastchell... besides, there were more challenging examples elsewhere, who would actually require effort. Not much, though, given Vasud's faith in his own talents...but some effort, at least.
"Why are you still here? I told you to leave."
Vasud bowed slightly. "I go, of course, my Lord." He turned and walked out. His expression hardened slightly as he departed. Trustworthy? Cares about people? Those were the qualifications that saw John being sent?
The former Sith was well aware of his reputation, but surely Lord Dastchell knew better than to believe it. Some thought of him as selfish. It was not entirely true. He could be generous, even caring...when he felt like it, anyway.
As he walked the streets of Coruscant, entirely confident that there was no common footpad who might waylay him and live, Vasud Sokaris was aware of the gaze of others. They were watching him, as they always did.
As they should.
He smiled to himself, knowing as he did so that this would only encourage the watchers to continue to admire him.
Now, had he time...his attention was caught by several girls, who were chatting animatedly amongst themselves. Some of them might be worth more than a passing glance, at least. Inwardly he sighed. Orders came first. Still, no need to deny himself a lesser amusement. Vasud walked past the young women, his cape brushing the sleeve of one. He turned his head briefly and favoured them with a smile. Several fell into a state of utter confusion. Some seemed more resistant, but all of them followed him with their eyes as he walked away. Vasud turned a corner, out of their line of sight, and they moved on again.
The tall vampire continued on his way, feeling rather more cheerful now. The Church of the Creator wasn't much farther. He'd be able to wait there for John and the new vampires.

Jack slowly sat up, and placed his hand to the side of his head. It was odd, he felt like he should have some sort of headache but he didn't. Slowly he stood using a wall for support, glancing around him he saw two others. For a brief moment felt fear, fear coupled with anger but the moment was short lived. However it was replaced by a new sensation, hunger. Jake felt hunger like he had never before but the sensation was beyond his explination. He began searching one of his pouches, he always kept an energy bar on him.

Hunger. The feeling passed over Stenton like wildfire, he saw others but frankly he didn't care. There was a moment when he had been scared but then the hunger came and he tore into his pockets with all haste looking for food, his hand clenched on a small fruit grabbing it out and taking a long bite he continued to eat but glanced around at the others there, he saw one had a lightsaber and his other hand fell to his side.

Hurakan pulled his hood over his head and moved out of the shadows, following the girls from a distance. He was slightly annoyed but he suppressed it, becoming a vampire had made him physicaly intimidating. As an assassin he had been reling on blending in, stealth, manipulations. This was harder now. carefully Hurakan reached out with the force, hopeing to manipulate the mind of his target, perhaps she'd be drunk and more susceptable to his powers...

GM POST
Kira, Jack and Stenton
Kira devoured her ration pack like a wild nexu who hadn't eaten for die. Almost immediately she spit it out. It tasted like dirt! Literal dirt! She whimpered slightly, rummaging through the other ration packs she had, eating them all with a desperate hunger. However, every single one tasted worst than the first and try as she could, she could bring herself to swallow them. She was desperate now and turned to look at Jack on her right, who apparently was having the same exact problem.
Jack shoved the energy bar into his mouth much like a child would try to devour a large piece of candy in one bite. He chewed with desperation and then just like Kira, his face fell and he spit the bar out. He looked at the packaging. Perhaps the bar had gone bad? It tasted absolutely horrible to him, as if he was eating crap, literally. He desperately searched his pockets for another energy bar, and thank the force he found one. He ripped open the packaging and smelled it. It smelled perfectly like an energy bar, and deffinitely not like dirt. And so he took a small bite. This one didn't taste half bad, but it still tasted like utter crap. But he forced himself to swallow. As he did so, he suddenly lurched and vomited on the floor. "What the kriff is wrong with me?" he asked, looking to Stenton, on his right who apparently was having the same horrible conditions happening to him.
Stenton was slowly eating his small fruit, which actually tasted like fruit, compared to dirt which was what the others tasted. However, try as he might, his body would not let him swallow it. And so, defeated, he spit it out. In a rage he screamed and threw the fruit towwards the opposite wall where it splattered, sending fruit juice and bits all over the nearby floor. It was at that point that their luck changed. For good or bad, would be their particular point of view.
Three people had suddenly entered the small building, plastered out of their minds on whiskey and ale. It was two young girls, both groping themselves over one incredibly drunk young man. The first girl, on the right, had long blonde hair that reached to the middle of her back and looked like she hadn't cut it in years, although she certainly kept it neat. She was wearing high-heeled boots, with an extremely short-cut skirt and tight shirt, accentuating her small but round bosoms. She wore bright red lipstick, and it was extremely obvious that she was a "party-girl" who had probably given herself to as many men as a prostitute.
The second girl, on the man's left, had short wavy black hair that was dropping over her face in beautiful curls. She was much more practically dressed than the other girl, with long black pants and a loose black shirt. Surprisingly it seemed the young man favored her more than the other, to the other drunk girl's dismay.
The man was wearing a white oxford shirt with long black pants and it was obvious he was either someone of money or power, or perhaps both. He had short wavy brown hair which was falling around his face gently and he smelled of strong corellian whiskey. And then it was noticeable that he was carrying a bottle of corellian whiskey with him, which was 75% gone. Most likely that 75% was in the stomachs of he and the two girls.
As they all entered the room, Kira, Stenton and Jack felt their hunger jolt. They could all feel an incredible urge to jump onto the people and bite them. And as they felt this, long, sharp fangs began growing in their mouths. They could feel them, and would reach a hand up to touch them. And at that point it would be a difference between fighting the beast inside them, or pouncing on one of the people and sinking their fangs deep within their flesh to drink their blood. It wouldn't take long for their beast to take over if they didn't get blood soon.
And so they suddenly realized something was very wrong. They had suddenly realized they had become the horrible monsters of legend and hoped to the force that it was a bad dream. They knew, that they had went asleep as normal people and died. They had then awoken alive, as vampires.

Hurakan
Hurakan followed the young girl and her friends, using the force to persuade them to break up. And due to his diligence it worked.
"I'll see you guys in a bit," the young girl said, stumbling towards a cafe, as the other girls went up to one of the other's homes. As they left Hurakan saw his chance. The girl was alone and in a few minutes would be entering a dark alley as a shortcut to the cafe that she was going to. Hurakan new of it, because it was the only cafe in the area. And so he followed her as she walked, his hand on his lightsaber just out of habit. He had no intention of using it, but after years of Sith training, one did not forget over night.
As the girl entered the alleyway, he entered behind her, quick as shadow and as quiet as night.

Vasud
Vasud was walking along the streets, his quick legs carrying him towards the church that was his destination. He knew he had some time however. He had only woken up a bit earlier and could use food, lest he let his beast control him. And that, he knew, was not something he wanted to happen. Vampires were looked down upon if they let their beasts control them, and Vasud knew that Lord Dastchell was one that did not tolerate that. Dastchell had been known to order vampires killed when they gave into their beasts too much. And despite Vasud's sith training, he knew that Dastchell was as powerful as any Sith Master he had ever known. Perhaps even stronger given the fact that Dastchell could sometimes shrug off grievous wounds as if they were nothing more than insect bites. And perhaps that was the reason that Dastchell no longer hunted, but had others do it for him. Perhaps the challenge had gone out of the hunt, and thus made it no longer fun.
Either that, or power and money had simply made Dastchell lazy over the last few decades.
Vasud walked along the large street, various drunk patrons walking about him, singing the Republic Anthem at the top of their lungs. Vasud wanted to rip their throats out. The least they could do was sing correctly instead of like a love-crazed nexu. He turned a corner and saw a small group of girls, all huddled around each other sharing a bottle of whiskey. They were surely down on their luck and Vasud felt they needed someone to "cheer them up." And so with a wicked, but oddly warm smile, he began walking towards them.

RE: Force: the Requiem
IC: Vasud Sokaris
Vasud sauntered towards a small group of girls, gathering his customary charm around him. They had been drinking, and would therefore be more susceptible. Just in case, however, he focused upon the Force. If necessary, he would add its persuasion, to ensure that none of the girls made a fuss. Protests attracted attention, and could cause things to degenerate into inelegant butchery, which was distasteful for Vasud.
"I saw you as I was passing by, and simply had to stop for a greeting," he commented, bestowing his smile impartially upon all of them. "But you do not seem to be enjoying yourselves so much. Perhaps I could help you?" No doubt at least one would suggest a new alcohol supply, in which case it would be simple enough to select one whose trip to a store would not be completed. Or better yet, more than one. No deaths, no bodies, no investigations. Just a group of girls unable to remember anything in the morning thanks to the drinks they'd downed.

This was too wrong, what was he doing? but the hunger. The ever present Hunger, he couldn't make it go away, the hunger. He couldn't stop himself, the girls eyes looked at him in fear as he dug his newly found fangs into her neck, ahh the hunger started to flow away.

OOC: Because of current business, Kahn has asked me to take control of his character for a short while. He'll be back to the game when he can.
IC
: Hurakan
Hurakan entered into the alleyway behind the girl and moved slowly as she stumbled about, laughing every time she stumbled and fell down to the ground. She was clearly drunk out of her mind, and must have been drinking since early that morning since it was only a couple of hours after sun-down. He watched closely as she walked and stumbled to and fro, his eyes glued onto her petite body.
He smoothly walked quicker to bridge the gap between them. If she left the alleyway too soon, he would have to watch his dinner saunter away. There were far too many guards around this area of coruscant for Hurakan to take her in an open street. And so he moved up quickly behind her and in his gentlest voice called to her. "Do you need some help?" he asked, trying to make his voice sound as sweet and innocent as possible.
As the girl turned, she had no idea what hit her. A hand gripped over her mouth and fangs ripped into her neck. And before the girl had time to scream, Hurakan had dropped her lifeless and blood-drained body onto the ground. Then without a word, he was gone, leaving no clue that he was ever there except a girl that clearly hit her head the wrong way when falling down drunk and never got up again.

Jack looked at the people coming in, his hunger rising and he realized what he was with a horrifying thought. But before he had time to think for himself, he was on his feet and the last remaining girl was in his arms, looking up at him with a terrified look upon her face. And then he bore his head down and shoved his newly grown fangs into her neck as she let out a whimper.
He felt sick to his stomach, but also glorified as he drained the girl of her life force, and he felt his hunger subsiding and his stomach and throat screaming their approval as they never had before in his life. He then gripped her harder, as if to squeeze out all of her blood as fast as possible.

body rejoiced in the blood from the young man and as each second went by, she wanted more and more, as if her hunger was unending and unappeasable. He pushed her fangs deeper into the man who gurgled but didn't have any strength left to fight her off. Her body was on top of his, her mouth gripped to his neck and his blood flowing into her throat like the essence of life. However, suddenly a small voice in the back of her mind said quietly, "Kira, stop. He's going to die."
She didn't listen to it. She instead pushed deeper. She wanted more blood. However, the voiced yelled this time in her head. "Kira! Stop now! He's going to die! Don't kill him!" She would have to decide whether or not to obey or disregard the voice. Was she willing to kill the innocent man for the blood she craved?

Jack
had ripped into the girl's neck with ferocity, her blood flowing down his throat like a river of ecstasy. He wanted more, and the beast inside of him purred with satisfaction as the warm blood trickled down his throat and flowed into his body. However, as he went deeper a small voice in his head said "He's going to die." It wasn't a warning but a fact. Did Jack want to stop, or did he want to fulfill his full craving and drain the girl of every drop of blood she had?
Stenton
would have smiled if his mouth wasn't cupped to the girl's throat. He felt her heart beat as every ounce of her blood flowed into his body, pleasing almost every single inch of him. He heard a small voice in his head telling him that the poor girl would die soon if he didn't stop, but it was up to him to decide if that was a good or bad thing.

Vasud
The Open Alley
One of the girls looked at Vasud and giggled. "What just are you offering?" she said before hiccupping and laughing at her own blunder. Another one of the girls walked up to him and almost stumbled. "We could use some more drinks ya know," she said with a smile.
"Ally no!" one of the other girls said with a laugh, "We've already had enough."
"Oh come on guys, the night is still young! So what about it?" She asked Vasud, sauntering up to him and then stumbling into him, laughing.

Hurakan
The Open Air
Hurakan walked upon the roads, his body purring its contentment in its new dose of warm blood, but he wanted more. He still wasn't full and it had been a full three days since his last feeding, so he needed to find more. However, he knew it was foolish to stay around the republic day celebrations, at least the main ones. His best bet if he wanted easy food was to move over to the industrial sector. That way he would be able to find various street urchins and barhoppers who were drunk enough to think a vampire biting someone was just making out with them.
And so he made his way towards there, keeping his eye out for all types of prey in his way.
