The New Republic had been trying to supress the genocide of the inhabitants of the planet Redicu for almost a year now. The more powerful warlords were trying to kill off the citizens of the world's captial city, Ushidagom, and the Republic had not stood for that. Now they were sending in a strike team of one hundred elite commandoes to try and capture on the most powerful warlords, Sammiel, and the commandoes went in on a convoy of armored vehicles, supported by a flight of a few X-wings above them.
It had not gone good and the soldiers had taken heavy ground blaster fire and an X-wing had been shot down by surface-to-air blaster bolts. Now the commandoes, down to only a few men now, had a new mission. They had to rescue the pilot of the X-wing, if he was still alive.
This is their story.

I am the shot-down pilot. I need at least two characters. You can be the Redicuan militia that are trying to kill the remaining commandoes or you can be a commando yourself.

Appearance: With his bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, Eddie as Eduardan was nicknamed fondly by his superiors and subordinates, rose quickly through the ranks and was well-liked by everyone he met. He had the most unique X-wing in his particular flight group: a jet-black X-wing with everything on it black but the canopy. But he drew crap duty and was sent to Redicu to help in the covert commando mission there, flying support over the mission and he was the lucky one to be shot down. Now, injured and helpless with only a blaster pistol for protection, he faces the anger of a city of hatred and weapons aimed right at him, sheltered only by an X-wing's burning hulk.

Bio: Being one of the few Diathim to leave with a spacer, Malaque travelled the Galaxy out of the moons of Lego, her homeplanet. She joined up with the Republic military becaus eof her extensive Medical knowledge and memory. She excelled into the Commando squads as a Meele Elite and Medic, higly unkown of, especially since her species was not known in common space. She was part of the team that saw the Black X-wing go down, she had met the 19 year-old pilot before, and had found Eddie a nice human, she would be sad to see him dead.

Eddie climbed out of the X-wing, shattered glass covering him as he fired out the missing cockpit with his blaster pistol as the rebels converged on his position and he ducked the sizzling return fire.
"Delta Five," he yelled into the comlink he held. "This is Gamma Twelve. I'm taking heavy fire and my right leg is hurt bad. Need assistance, please. Assistance would be greatly, greatly appreciated, alright?"
Eddie's bright smile had disappeared, replaced by a worried grimace of pain and despair.
OOC: People can still join, and Dmentae is a co-GM.

Malaque flew up to try get a better view, but came down as she heard chatter on the commlinks of her comrades "Wahts the situation?" she asked one, he looked down from her, she had begun to respect this, in a way, as only Eddie hadn't done this when she met him. "Gamma Twelve is in deep enemy territory and is underfire, he is injured" Malaque contemplated this as they returned to the rest and relayed the message. "We need to make another Commando Team to find him, his Commlink signal is jammed from our allies jammers, and his Fighter is down, all raise hands to join the new squad" Malaque finished, flapping her wings a bit and waiting for a repsonse from the men. 'Echo 7, nice name' she thought, already suggesting team names for themselves before anyone had signed up.

Bio: Lash was a test case to allow women into the ranks of Imperial Stormtroopers, because both her parents had personally met the Emperor she was placed in the squad known as the Sluggers upon proving herself in training. However after several years of loyal service Lash began to have doubts of their work, always maintaining her loyalty was to the galaxy rather than the Emperor. Things came to a head when she threatened to inform the ISB of a commanding officer's actions. Because of this she was assigned to work with the Emperor's Hand, Mara Jade, on what were thought to be suicide missions intended to kill the too idealistic trooper. But through her discipline and superior experiance she was able to prove herself. Initially disliking the arrangement, Jade was most pleased on Lash leading her to information on Vader's apprentice and taught her to fly as a reward, and was even more pleased with the suggestion about Vader not killing Luke as a means to discredit him, allowing Lash to stay at the Imperial hotels she did. But because of all this loyalty to her comrade Lash was called into question over whether she was attempting to undermine the Empire. Lash denied this, but suggested to Mara to escape before trying to evacuate as many Imperials as she could, fearing the imminent Rebel victory on Endor. Once the Empire was outed Lash turned to civilian life, running a health and fitness program. Mara found her and asked for her help in finding Luke Skywalker. Lash refused, instead allowing her to use the fitness facilities to better handle the Jedi. Later she returned , demanding Lash join the Republic to find Skywalker, and because of what Mara might do if she refused Lash agreed.
Lash's hand to hand skills leave Mara for dead, and it is rumored she is good enough with a blade to spar with the Emperor's Hand. But Lash seems disinterested in using these skills, preferring instead to find non violent solutions to problems, such as her efforts to discredit Vader rather than have Mara fight him. She also very much enjoys leisure time, as demonstrated with how gracious she was with Mara's reward and very much enjoys dancing, something very much outside of the Imperials she quips. She also has the most wonderful evil laugh, more of a cackle actually, that puts even Palpatine to shame.
