RE: Apprentice of Darth Cadeus: Rise of the Dark Knights
IC: Jaina
Despite the fact she tried to remain calm and not let Tristan's words affect her, Jaina still felt a chill go down her back. She thought for a moment, then looked at the young Blade.
"Walk with me," she said, and they started down the hall together, silent for a few moments. Finally, Jaina turned to face him, and quietly told him, using the Force to pull peace and tranquility into her words, "I'd like to tell you, that visions are just that, sometimes. As Master Yoda once told Uncle...Master Skywalker, 'many different futures do you see.' My own brother..." A stab of pain seemed to shoot through Jaina upon giving him back that title, even though she had firmly told herself for all these years, that the brother she'd shared a twin bond with, the one who'd cracked jokes, cared for animals, and had deeply loved the warrior princess Tenel Ka of the Hapes Cluster, was dead to her now and would always be.
Pushing away old memories and pains, Jaina pressed on. "...my brother, he once had a vision, similar to yours. He saw a great war, and death and destruction. In his trying to prevent it, he brought upon the very thing he feared would possibly destroy those he loved. My grandfather, Anakin Skywalker...you know him better as Darth Vader, I would think, did the very same thing, and as a result inadvertently caused the death of my grandmother.
"What I'm trying to say is," she continued, "is that there may
be
a war. We'll never know if my grandmother would have died anyway, or if the Killik-Chiss War would've happened if my brother had
not
had those visions. But, while such is definitely troubling news, if it happens...it will happen. If it is the will of the Force, we must accept such."
Jaina turned to look Tristan straight in the eye. "In any case, don't do anything rash just because you might think it will keep a war from happening. Learn from Anakin Skywalker's and Jacen's mistakes."
"As for the rest of your vision..." Here Jaina moved away from him again, briefly meditating on what had been said. "It's something I need to think about. I will tell Master Skywalker what you have seen. It may give us insight into rooting out the Sith. But remember what I have said...keep an open mind, and clear focus."

Tristan almost burst out
I came to you didn't I? I came to seek your wisdom in this matter. Do you think me incompetant?
However, he restrained himself. For some reason, all he could think about was the death of his parents... and the vision he had seen before it. He had been unable to do anything to stop it. If he had not tried, they would have died. This last vision was so real, so
powerful
that it was hard to believe that it would not happen. He was aggrivated at Jaina for her calm demeanor. His emotions twirled inside him as he thought of his past vision... when he killed a fellow jedi. He knew he couldn't. He never would...
He calmed himself, calling upon the force greatly. He hardly ever lost control, and it unnerved him that he had been so disturbed so easily. He breathed deeply, then looked Jaina in the eyes. "Thank you Master Solo. I shall think on your words. I do understand..." Be was about to follow with a
but...
however, he bit it off, not wanting to continue the sentance in the direction ti had been going.

"Sounds good, we don't want to bring notice to our arrival."
The three of them flew down to the landing site. After they all had landed and their R2 droids got out JerE spoke up "we need to go find this Blade now, I have a feeling whoever it is is in a lot of trouble right now. I'm not sure if the Blade is dead or not but if the Blade isn't then we should find out as soon as we can. I think we should go on foot and we should set out now I am all ready. What do you all think?"

RE: Apprentice of Darth Cadeus: Rise of the Dark Knights
Kay: Korriban
Kay’s X-wing jolted out of hyperspace and into the atmosphere of Korriban. The large sandy planet loomed large and foreboding in front of the three Jedi. Kay felt certainly what A’Klass and JerE felt, it was a dark planet, in fact it was made of nothing but darkness.
Kay and the two Jedi flew in low over the death bearing landscape. A few miles away was the old settlement of Dreshdae. The old settlement had been abandoned since the end of the Jedi Civil War, seeing little activity from anyone except smugglers and pirates who used it for a hide out now and then, but they never stayed long or were never seen again. Kay had a feeling that they should start their search in Dreshdea first since that was one of the most obvious places that they would keep this Jedi. But the mission never left Kay’s mind. He knew the mission took priority over rescuing a fellow Jedi, but if they could find the Jedi and finish the mission then it would be a job well done.
They landed 6 clicks away from the settlement in a large canyon that reminded Kay of the ones on Tatooine, but he knew that this place was nothing like Tatooine. The three Jedi unloaded their equipment out of their fighters and stored them in the cave. This cave would be their command center during the duration of their mission. They cleared the cave first, it was clear. It was a large cave and went back fairly far making it a great place for a holdout position.
Now they had to come up with a plan on how they were going to go about rescuing this Jedi and completing the mission, of course there was always the possibility that the two were related. JerE soon spoke up
"We need to go find this Blade now; I have a feeling whoever it is is in a lot of trouble right now. I'm not sure if the Blade is dead or not but if the Blade isn't then we should find out as soon as we can. I think we should go on foot and we should set out now I am all ready. What do you all think?"
“Agreed, this Jedi certainly must know more about this Sith than we do. So it’s settled we’ll go rescue the Jedi. I felt his presence as we flew in, I felt his presence in the old settlement of Dreshdea. So let’s get ready to move out.”

"Lets go" Jerdu went and threw his bacpack full of clothes back into his wing and he then jogged off in the direction of Dreshdae.
He ran for a while and he stopped when he could finally see the city he looked backward waiting on the blades trailing closely behind.

A'Klaas
Korriban
A'Klaas's fighter landed along side the other jedi, from above Korriban looked much like his homeworld but the sky had a more darker feel and he could sense the dark side running through the sand. This was indeed a more dangerous planet that either of them could of thought.
A'Klaas along with Kay and JerE brought there fighters into a cave.

A'Klaas nodded in agreement and made sure his lightsaber was secured to his belt. And left along with Kay and JerE intill they reached the outskirts of Dreshdae.
"It's bigger than i thought"
A'Klaas spoke for the first time since on Korriban.

Jaina turned back to him, sensing there was more unsaid, and feeling the distress within Tristan. She could tell it was not entirely what he had wanted to hear, somehow, and was willing to let him finish.
If he knew, how hard it still is for me to think of him...Jacen...I have to stay calm, lead by example. And I may be a Master, but that doesn't mean I don't respect peoples' opinions and thoughts.
"Is something wrong, Tristan? I sense unrest within you..." she trailed off, silently inviting him to finish.
Of course I could be wrong, that may be all to what he has said...but it doesn't feel like it is.

Tristan hesitated for a moment. He wasn't sure if he should express his thoughts to her, but finally decided to tell her what was bugging him. "It's just..... I've been having visions almost my whole life. Past, present, and future. Whether important or not, I can't think of one that hasn't come true, even if I had not thought about or tried to prevent it. I know what you are saying. I understand, but...... I guess I just have trouble shoving it aside." He still clamped down on the fact that he saw a fellow Jedi die by his hands, but he felt that was unnecessary for her to hear at this point in time. He needed time to figure it out himself.
