IC: Orien Sindale

Orien's amusement ended as the lightsaber she held was lit, revealing a red beam. "Red," she said, frowning. "Usually a Sith color." She turned off the saber she held and looked at it pensively. She glanced over at the others on her team before setting the lightsaber back where she had picked it up from. This base had so many secrets.

IC: Darth Kanor

Undercity, Coruscant

If Kanor could touch the Force, he would've cheerfully strangled Tycam for bringing this mess down on their heads. As it is, he did not, so all he could do was crouch underneath the crate and hope for the best. At least it seemed to be holding up pretty well against blaster bolts - almost too well, in fact. From the shudder of blaster fire hitting the crate, Kanor would have expected to have to find some new cover by now.

The blaster fire stopped abruptly ... and then started again, this time from the opposite direction. I wonder why, Kanor thought with a kind of fatalistic curiosity. It wasn't as if it made a difference - all he had to do was shift his form slightly and the blaster bolts could continue not even charring his cloak.

That was rather curious, though. Unseen to the other Sith, Kanor frowned up at the underside of the crate. What was this made of? He didn't think packing crates would be as sturdy as armour plating when it came to withstanding blaster fire.

Would appreciate a bit of a description of what the crate looks like, what it's made of and so on... happy

Of Darth Wijs in the low reaches of Coruscant

Wijs landed lightly. Her face was serene, but her mind was seething. Rayden was making a fool of himself, and had forced her to come to his aid. Again. If she hadn’t followed, it would seem as if he had no hold over his faction.

Wijs stepped lightly over to the young leader, her body making no noise. She had perfected silence, but hadn’t thought to cloak her presence. It was unnecessary to hide from Rayden. Stepping from the darkness, into a barely lighted area where Rayden stood waiting, Wijs raised an eyebrow.

“Could you once make it easy to follow you, Rayden? I know that you love the attention, but I hope this also serves a purpose. I do not enjoy wasting time, and this is time wasted.”

IC: Tal Vay
Coruscant, Undercity, Warehouse

Tal stopped suddenly, the blasterfire that he was running towards to seemed to have started to lessen...and continued to do so more and more. The Sith paused to wonder if help had arrived or one of the other Sith in the team had managed to get to them, but then had to start moving again when the blasterfire suddenly picked up again, though this time it was from the other direction.

There was at least a few less shooters, if the blasterfire dying down at the original end was caused by the shooters actually dying. Tal stepped behind another stack of crates to shield himself from the new salvos of blasterfire.

It was becoming a poorly executed ambush, Tal decided from his hiding spot. It's not that these rebels don't have enough gear, they have plenty from the sounds of all the blasters and the shooters that were hidden on both sides of the warehouse. And let's not forget those creatures that kept the Sith from using their Force powers. The problem with the rebels though, their choice of location for the ambush - the warehouse - was turning against them with how Tal could just hide behind one of the many stacks of crates to hide from their blasterfire. If the shooters on both sides had been firing at once, there may've been problems. However, with only one side opening up, and then the other when the first failed, the Sith could just hide and seek easy cover.

And the Jedi that were with them, they were about as helpless as the Sith when it came to using the Force. They were just sticking to the role of perimeter guards instead of going in and just fighting the Sith team blade-to-blade while the shooters did what they could. It was pitiful. Tal thought that the rebels were better then this with how his Master - and the others - have been starting to consider the rebels a real threat. But if these amateurs were a hint to how the rest of the rebels worked, they obviously shouldn't be as troubling as the Sith masters were starting to make them out to be.

Tal turned to look at the stack of crates he was hiding behind before bringing out his lightsaber and thumbing it to life, one red blade igniting before Tal buried it into the crate and sliced a circle into the side. Kicking it down once he finished, the Sith stepped inside the crate, looked up, and started carving another circle through the top of the crate, and thus the bottom of the second crate on top so that he could climb up unmolested. Sooner or later the rebel shooters were going to get tired or realize that their initial plan wasn't working. Then they and their Jedi help may decide to move in close, which Tal was going to try and prepare for. Though not exactly afraid, the assassin had to admit that he liked the idea of the Sith team getting reinforcements. Sooner or later, someone in this giant city planet should hear the commotion and alert the Sith masters or police about it if they didn't know already.

Searching EAST Corridor

Their searches thus far had been fruitless. They encountered no more security features. They had been mapping the area as they moved along, but all they encountered so far were locked doors and empty dormitories. However, as they progressed, they opened a door to a large room. Inside appeared to be a library or something of the sorts. It certainly would warrant exploration.

Alora smiled abit as she looked in the room. "Everyone spred out. Let's see what we can find, but keep an eye incase anything tries to sneak up on us." Aloa walked over to one wall, to see how things were organized. Perhaps they could find out what these folks had been doing here.

Flashback, 145 years BBY

Master Darious Fel'Reen
Space orbiting Ziost

The man nodded, waiting until the airlock was closed before he looked at the
young Knight in front of him. "Stand up son, I dont bite." He gave a quick smile.

"I am Master Darious Fel'Reen, and I hear that you have a tricky bit of business to deal with." Darious shifted his pack, his voice turning serious. "So, if you dont mind, I'd like to hear a bit more about who it is, we are chasing."

Darious gestured, waiting for Knight Mrris Tragihop to lead the way, to someplace they could talk. The young Knight had straightened rather quickly, having been taught to obey the masters unquestionably. Darious face had a slight grin, as he gave the young man a nod. He was busy trying to capture a rogue Force user, and yet his demenor shifted when Darious arrived. He wanted the young man at ease.

"Of course Master, if you would follow me..." with that he turned towards the only area with sitting room that wasn't the cockpit, the training bay. Darious shouldered his bag and followed. He quickly noticed that the ship had seats, and nothing particularly comfortable on the whole ship. Darious was silent, as he pondered why the ship was so stark. They finally got to an area of the ship, where there was some seats. He noticed the young Knight was still standing, so he quickly sat down. Taking a seat after Darious had, he sighed softly and repeated the Jedi mantra. Darious could feel the weight of the mission was taking its toll on the man.

Determined, Mrris began. "First off, the man's name is Oridan Tembol, former Jedi Knight. He disappeared about five years ago, and it was assumed that he was lost in action since the last time he was seen alive he was taking a swan dive over a rather windy railing. He resurfaced, and murdered someone in a way that only a Force user could manage." Darious looked over curious, but stayed silent, from the reaction that Mrris was putting out in the Force. He simply nodded slowly. "I was assigned to track Oridan down and bring him to justice. It was assumed that he wasn't the former knight, and I didn't find out his name until recently. That's when I was told to await you, Master." Here he paused to catch his breath before resuming. Darious kept his face neutral, as once again, he could feel conflicting emotions within Mrris. Chasing the man had certain taken a toll.

The young man continued. "Anyways, I caught up to him on Corellia. We fought in the sewers, and I actually had him bested. Unable to really run due to a burn on his leg. I was walking towards him and..." He could barely get the word out, "Slipped and my ankle broke. It took us both a few days to manage to leave the planet, but I could follow him since I'd found his ship and put a tracer on it. After that we seemed to be on more even footing, and he nearly beat me the next time. Technically I should have been dead, but again slipped and fell into a garbage chute." His face held a slightl tinge of red in it. "By the time I got back he was gone, but had left me a message. I thought it was a taunt, and a trap. I was wrong on the latter part, but couldn't make the most of the situation. That happened three more times. Then he led me here, and I sent in a report. Then you arrived." He quickly picked up a datapad.

Flipping to the spot he wanted, "Here's the information we have about Oridan. I'll give you the points that still apply. He always cared about justice, which might explain why I'm not dead now. Was a fairly accomplished duelist, but wasn't great at incorporating the Force into a fight. That has changed since his fall. He's grown better at fighting, and now uses the Force frequently. His lightsaber form is Ataru, and now shows shades of Juyo. The attitude he had is now warped, and Oridan had become vaguely egomaniacal, which also might be why I still live. Other than that, the report is fairly useless." Setting the pad aside, the Jedi continued. "One observation I've made is that Oridan seems to want to take me as a padawan, and has been enticing me during every battle." Darious slowly nodded his head, as he listened to Mrris give him the remainder of the report.

Standing up, Darious shook his head, as he walked over to where Mrris was. He gently touched Mrris on his shoulder. "You've had quite a hard go with this one, lad." he spoke gently, a slight grin on his face. "Aye, and I agree with some of your observations. He does seem to be taunting you, for if he wanted you dead, he had ample chance to do so."
He withdrew his hand. So many conflicting emotions within the young man, that much was obvious. He could feel the conflict within him. He needed to deal with that, help him take control of it, or else the mission was lost. Darious sighed slowly, as he gestured outwards with his hand. We need to meditate before we go down to the planet below." Darious straightened and spoke carefully. "If he is interested in you, then it is because he thinks he senses something in you. Something he can reach. He toys with you, trying to make you angry. To embarrase you. To push you, until you break." Darius looked at Mrris, and gave him a wide smile.

"But we shall not afford him this. And with my assistance, he will understand he has made a fatal flaw this time, no mater WHAT planet he picks." Darious gave Mrris a careful nod. "But first, we will make sure that you are properly centered. So that even a Sith lord himself could not sway your resolve."

Darth Nihil - Sith Chambers

Grel swung her speeder wide, as she flew down the dark corridors of Coruscant. To Zen Shiva, she sent a message. //Lord Solus heads your way. Guard yourself.// She gave pause as she travelled. She had expected a trap. But why would Solus head there. To perhaps make sure the other masters would show up, and he could take care of them? If he killed the others, then it would certainlly tear the council apart. NO, he had to be working on another project. Right now, Nihil could still sense the lone Darth Spectraal. Spectraal had mentioned Sith units. But were they? Or were they simply Solus minions? Well, this was turning into quite a tasty bit of news.

Grel, suddenly turned her speader, and headed in on Spectraal's general position. She was not going to get to close yet. Just close enough so that she could see with her specs. She cloaked herself within the Force, hiding both her Force presence, and her most especially, her Darkside, for the other Forces, AND Solus would home in on that. She felt no need to act at the moment, but she certainly wanted to watch. The reactions would tell her much. And that the other Masters had not moved, showed just how young Solus was. But she did enjoy a good show. She programed her speeder to continue on, and park. It would wait till she called for it. She leaped, moving from various areas, hidden within the dark folks of the many buildings. It was rather liberating, actually. Soon, she found the building that Darth Spectraal had mentioned. She opted to locate a perch, and then adjusted her visor. She figured this would be good for quite a show. Her comlink would reroute her calls, before reaching her silent. She did not want to be found at the moment. This was far more intersting. She did wonder however, how the others if they ever managed to move themselves from the stupor they were in, how they planned to locate the site? Darth Spectraal was not one, to allow her aura to be so easily found. Grel dismissed the thought as she began to watch the surrounding area with interest. She configured her armor, hiding herself from sight and scanners while she watched to see who would appear next.

GM POST:

Sith Team

The Sith moved for cover once again as the blaster fire resumed. So far, the crates were holding up admirably. Upon closer examination, one might discover that it was made of a military grade steel--commonly used for Star Cruisers. Curious, for shipping containers. It could be assumed that the Rebels had everything planned out meticulously. So, why then, were the shipping crates here that were made out of such unbreakable materials? Perhaps they were protecting something?

Any questions were soon answered. A faint clicking could be heard from the inside of one of the shipping crates near to Kanor, and shortly after, the crate exploded. It was not a large explosion, but shrapnel flew in all directions. Similar controlled explosions went off near to the other Sith. As well, the support beams to the bridge where the Rebels had been--which Zen was still on--blew, dropping the whole bridge to the ground. The chaos was controlled, though potentially lethal.

IC: Darth Solus

Solus watched--well, more felt--as Wijs approached him. He smiled as she came up, and her voice uttered words that he had expected.

“Could you once make it easy to follow you, Rayden? I know that you love the attention, but I hope this also serves a purpose. I do not enjoy wasting time, and this is time wasted.”

He flashed a smile at her. "My darling, you know me. I do all things for a reason... even make a fool of myself. It, of course, serves a purpose." He flashed her a mischievous smile. "But you don't need to know that just now. Besides," he shrugged, "I like the feeling of free-falling. As close to flying as I'll ever get. Now, come, we have a trap to disband." He moved off, intent on getting to the warehouse before the other masters. After a moment, he resumed his Force-quickened pace, knowing Wijs could catch up.

It was only another couple of minutes until he reached the warehouse. He noted that the force signature that he was following was no longer around... though he had felt nothing die. Curious. However, the sounds of blaster fire were enough to inform him where the trap was being held. With quick, Force aided movements, Solus leapt up to a balcony. From there, he made several quick leaps to various buildings, ending up on the roof. Sprinting across it, he soon found the opened access door. He flipped inside without thinking.

Reacting instinctively, Solus grabbed onto one of the catwalks as he fell, and twirled himself up. What he saw displeased him. Explosions began to go off. Though it was hard to tell from this vantage point, Solus believed he saw Ysalamiri. Not willing to take a chance, Solus, in one fluid motion, ignited his saber and slashed through the support beams and the catwalk itself. It fell, though much more slowly than Solus would have. It formed a ramp of sorts.

As Solus slid down to the floor, his theory was correct. As he entered the no-Force zone, he could feel his Force powers suppressed. He cursed under his breath. As he came to the floor, he spotted a creature nearby. He was right. Ysalamiri. He hated them. He sprung off of the catwalk moments before blaster fire turned on him. As he flew through the air, he speared the creature. He twirled and shouted to the Sith assembled in the warehouse.

"Kill the Ysalamiri! The creatures!" The other Sith had no doubt figured out that the creatures were responsible in some form for their lack of Force powers. However, it surprised Solus that none had acted on that yet.

IC - Tak Vedis

Tak had silently been expecting blue or red. Orange was a surprise. He raised his eyebrow slightly as Sindale chimed in. "Orange?" she asked, letting out a laugh now that the tension she felt was gone. "Some people have odd taste in lightsaber colors!" She reached out and picked up another one, looking it. It was pretty nondescript, and was lighter than her own lightsabers. "I wonder why there were included in the armory..."

Almost frowning at her, instead, he managed to keep the wry smile on his face. "Likely because there were Jedi here at one time and the Rebellion has since forgotten about it. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was built when the Rebels were fleeing the Empire in the first place."

And then Sindale ignited a second blade. "Red," she said, frowning. "Usually a Sith color."

"Well," Tak ruminated, "this still could have been occupied during the Rebels' flight. It looks too new to have been built during the ancient Sith Empire." How well he knew the ancient Sith Empire; but they'd never know he knew.

Glancing around the room, there was also a dusty computer console in the far corner. A weapons platform perhaps? The key to the defense programs of the base? He walked slowly up to it and the screen suddenly came to life. Well, sooner or later he'd find out exactly what it was for.

Quickly, he reached for his own saber hilt... just in case.

Zen Shiva (Darth Spectraal)

Coruscant Undercity, Warehouse

Zen Shiva had no time to admire her handiwork. The first set of Rebel shooters were taken care of, but a moment later, another set seemed to appear from nowhere. Of course, they began to shoot immediately. Zen Shiva performed a few acrobatic flips and avoided a few shots, but didn't really have a lot of room to maneuver. She hissed angrily as she would be force to use her lightsaber before she had intended, but before she even reached for her sith weapon, the bridge she was on exploded, effectively robbing the shooters of their intended target. Thankfully Zen Shiva's danger sense warned her just in time for her to leap away onto a small service ledge against the wall, which was located a few meters below her former location. Miraculously, the Force was still with her.

Zen Shiva watched as metallic debris rained down onto the floor below. Were these fools trying to kill the sith and those strange critters all at once? It certainly seemed so, as their tactis left much to be desired.

Then at that moment, she received a message from her Master.

//Lord Solus heads your way. Guard yourself.//

The Sith Battlemaster raised an eyebrow, but nothing else. She quickly sent a feeling of acknowledgement in response as she focused back on the task at hand.

Zen Shiva inwardly cursed out the Jedi as she now saw explotions on the ground. The crates that littered the warehouse were exploding. But wouldn't the explotions also affect the Jedi? Fools!! These Rebels were cowards and deserved a slow death at the hands of the "Defiler". Zen Shiva made a mental note to get him one of the Rebels or even a Jedi to torture later on.

The level of frustration inside the Sith Battlemaster rose exponentially. Zen Shiva gathered the power of the darkside to her and as she was about to take action, another figure appeared. A ramp had been formed and someone was sliding down on it. Zen Shiva recognized the figure at a glace!!

Darth Solus. Just as her master had said.

Despite the flashy entrance, the Sith Lord had positioned himself within the Force-void zone. At first this seemed foolish. And just as expected, he did not seem bothered by it, but this was not without reason, even if it was.....perplexing.

"Kill the Ysalamiri! The creatures!" Solus commanded. The Sith Lord twirled his lightsaber and killed one of the critters with contemptuos ease.

Zen Shiva took the opportunity the Sith Lord had provided. Amidst the orchestrated chaos, Solus was the center of attention now, tall, majestic and indiferent to danger. Certainly the Jedi and the shooters would home in on such an imposing figure, while she remained hidden and free to act.

Now Zen Shiva reached with the fury of the darkside and targeted one of the sealed doors. It was perfect. The door itself was resistenat to lightsabers and blaster fire, but the ferrocrete around it was not. All around the door, half a meter of wall crumbled into dust easily as she smashed the perimeter with the force, then grabbed hold of the door. From her position, Zen Shiva made spinning hand motions, to which the metallic door responded. Inside a heartbeat, the door spun like a giant buzzsaw.

Inwardly grinning with evil satisfaction, Zen Shiva launched the giant buzzsaw against a nearby cluster of Jedi. She remained in control of the giant weapon all the while, giving the Jedi something to worry about. Hopefully that would buy the Sith Team enough time to kill enough critters in order to give them a fighting chance.

As she watched the chaos unfold, Zen Shiva managed to send a mental message to her Master, Darth Nihil, updating her on the situation as well as informing her that Darth Solus had arrived on the premises.

OOC: Generally speaking, responding to a character's action is part of GMing. Ignoring a post speaks for itself. If the crate hit or missed is a GM judgement call, though if read, you'll see she was not aiming at her fellow sith, but the pesky Ysalamiry. Either way, lets move things along. I hope the other sith get to do something this time around.

Research Library

Jaden gazed upon the books, and knew knowledge beyond dreams was hidden within the covers. Jaden walked over to a shelf of blue glowing rectangles. Jaden spoke in amazement “Wow, do you know what knowledge could be within these books”, Jaden looked at Alora then added “You better call Karn about this”.

Jaden then took a book and opened the video revealing the information. He placed the Holocron on a shelf and took out his Laptop. The laptop could download information from Holocrons into the CP unit, and that is exactly what Jaden was going to do. Jaden plugged a cable into the Holocron and then put the other side in the computer. The downloading process took under 5 minutes. He then had the information on the Laptop. Jaden started to download more and more information onto the Laptop, blocking out all around him.

Jaden then blurted out a series of numbers, a pattern of mathematical equations. The numbers were a code of a program that Jaden created, the Virtual Map Creator. It was a small language. This had been happening to his everytime Jaden saw a stream of data. The numbers Jaden was running through his head was a language of porgram codes. Jaden was unlocking his whole brain and didn't realize a thing...

"1Y235331Y235331Y23533
H9072H9072H9072
4567T4567T4567T
NI907NI907"

The numbers showed no sign of stopping, worst of all Jaden had any idea of what he was doing. His mind was acting like a computer that could not stop downloading the data.

Darth Nihil - Coruscant Undercity, Warehouse

Grel had a birds eye view, as 'Master' Solus made his entrance into the warehouse. She made a face. Again, he showed his youth at he dissapeared within the building. She waited a few moments, looking about. None of the other Masters had followed. Grel smiled. Her mind was touched once more as Zen Shiva, the only one still with the Force, managed to send a mental message to her Master, Darth Nihil, updating her on the situation as well as informing her that Darth Solus had arrived on the premises. Darth Nihil swept closer, using the shadows to hide her movements. She scanned for the winged creature. Nothing. There was chaos going on below. Oh, the blessings of the Dark Lords themself must have be on her shoulders. Dark thoughts filted through her mind, as a plan quickly game to mind. She stayed a few blocks away from the building, but close enough for a perfect view. The opening where Solus had dropped in was in view. Grel then unhooked several items from her belt. She pushed a tiny button, and then using the Force, sent them into the hole where the others were now located. She then headed for her shuttle, counting as she sent Zen Shiva one more message.

She reached her speeder, and sat back. If any others came, it would appear that she was simply sitting there. Actually, she was looking for the supposed troups she had been told about eariler. Where could they have gone? With a grin, her countdown ended. She flipped her shields on her visor. Core bomb explosions were a beautiful thing to behold. She had sent three of them in. With most being unable to use the Force, and the mayhem that Darth Spectraal was causing, no one would notice them. No force danger sense to warn them.with so much going on..if anyone did still retain their danger sense they would be hard pressed to detect EXACTALLY where it was coming from, with so much going on. Oh yes, the explosion from the 3 tiny devices should be spectacular.
