August had dashed off, immediately. He was eager to leave the company of his new Master. Despite the great honor that it was, it disturbed August. Why was Solo singling him out? Did he see something that August couldn’t even see in himself? All August saw was his failings, which were many. Could there be something profound for the Grandmaster to take interest in? August guided himself to his family’s quarters. He was pleased to find it empty of his mother. He had hoped that his father would be around, to tell him the good news, but he didn’t want to risk his mother fussing. So, he packed his clothes quickly, hoping desperately that Juno wouldn’t return to the home. It was turning out to be a lucky day, because he made it out of the cubicle without incident. Moving with an excitement he hadn’t seen in himself, ever, August weaved his way back to the green house. He was again, momentarily forgetting his troubled thoughts.
