"Hangaru?" Matala Logan was one of the Republic soldiers that was sent with the Jedi on the transport, given her support for them. The Jedi Master had only just revealed their destination now, and began explaining why the planet was so important.
"Hangaru is a world that the Sith could ravage so it's resources could aid Revan's war effort." Matala reached for a datapad and began looking through the information, making sure she didn't appear to be ignoring what was said and kept looking up to show she was paying attention.
"This is intended to be a diplomatic mission," the woman stressed, Matala figured that comment was directed at them in particular. She looked around at her comrades and the other Jedi, before back at the master.
"Are we expecting trouble Master Vash?" Matala wanted to know. Another quick glance around only seemed to reinforce the idea that aggressive negotiations was what the Jedi had in mind.
"We shall be meeting with a representative from the Republic once we reach the palace. It will be out duty to convince the government it's best chance is to stand against Revan."
"And not remain neutral like those fish heads," one of the other soldiers piped up.
"Why not just use your mind control tricks to make them see sense?" another one asked. Before Vash could reply Matala spoke up for her.
"Don't be dense, not everyone who has Force powers uses them for their own gain.
"Thank you, Logan," Vash said, heading off an argument on the matter. "We are here to discuss the matter, that is all. It is up to the Hangaru people to choose what is best for their world." Matala looked to see they had entered the planet's atmosphere and double check her blaster carbine. The Jedi clearly thought they might be needed, looking at the weather outside what they might need more was to pull their robes over their heads. As the transport landed the soldiers and Jedi got up to disembark, Matala reaching behind her back. She fell in step with Master Vash and withdrew the vibrosword, holding it over the Jedi's head as they exited to keep the rain off.
"Better to be well prepared for the Sith than not?" she asked, wondering if it was the Jedi or the Republic that was behind the protection. Vash seemed to take the question as a statement.
"We should be able to manage with less than this," she commented, "and have you holding off the Sith." Matala wondered about that. "Wait here." Matala placed the vibrosword back in it's sheath, wiped a hand over her bald head to deal with the rain and went back with the others.
"So how's you're girlfriend?" one of the soldiers asked.
"She's not my girlfriend." Matala leaned against the transport, blaster carbine across her body. "She's our commander. We're meant to wait."
"For what? For the Sith to arrive?" Matala shrugged.
"Why look at me? I'm just a soldier following orders. Why not ask her?"
"Yeah, following a Jedi's orders."

IC:
Bastila exited the shuttle with Master Vash and several others. Carth was waiting outside, along with several other soldiers. He saluted.
"Master Jedi, good to see you here. We're ready for negotiations. But...." Carth trailed off, staring at something behind the shuttle that had just landed.
"Take cover!" Carth yelled. But it was too late. A sith bomber had bombed the shuttle and shrapnel went flying everywhere as did dust and dirt.
Carth got himself up quickly. But he couldn't see anything, the air was filled with dust and dirt.
He coughed loudly. "Bastila?!? Master Vash?!? Anyone?!?" He yelled.
Carth spotted a bald woman walking through the messy air.
"Hey! Over here!" He motioned her over.
"We need to find the jedi."
"No need for that Carth." Master Vash stated, walking in from behind him with the other jedi.
"Let's get out of this mess then." Carth said and began finding a way out of the dust cloud.

Revan stepped over several sith bodies as he made his way to the bridge of the Leviathan.
"You have done well. But now, you must test yourself against real jedi. A very important jedi council member has arrived you need to eliminate. Now go my assassin. Go Atton."
OOC: BTW guys if you want to give me any advice about the story, or how I do my posts then go ahead.

The other soldiers and Jedi were hunkered down on the ground, Matala figured it was the smartest thing to do but she couldn't shake the possibility that the Sith might be after a specific target, Vash or one of the others. The sergeant leveled her carbine to shoulder height, feeling a piece of shrapnel in her ribs as she did so, trying to scan the skies for the bomber despite the high possibility the turbolasers would be the only effective means of defense.
"Stay down, take cover!" she yelled, trying to crowd over whoever was standing so she was between them and the bomber. The commando probably wasn't in a position to be issuing orders but at the time she doubted that mattered. Swapping the blaster to one hand she brought the other one out, intending to back everyone into the palace and hopefully to safety unless she was ordered otherwise.

Revan grabbed a republic officer by the neck.
"Tell me what your plans are." Revan ordered.
"Never! I'll never betray the Republic!" The officer replied.
"Then die." Revan impaled the officer with his lightsaber.
The sith soldiers standing by just stood, watching the body fall to the floor.
"Search the rest of the ship for survivors. I will be heading back to the surface." Revan stated, then left.
Revan heard several lightsaber slashes and a few bodies hitting the floor. Revan turned around.
"Revan, found you, I have." Vandar said.
Revan ignited his lightsaber. Then the 2 clashed, sparks flying. Revan grabbed an object with the force and threw it at Vandar, but Vandar threw it right back. Into Revan's face. Revan collapsed, unconscious. Vandar left silently.
"I am willing to let you live. If only for the hope of turning you back to the light side." Vandar stated as he exited the bridge.

Revan's eyes began to flutter open, he saw a dark shape looking at him. It began to speak.
"My lord! Are you all right?" A sith soldier asked.
"Whe....where.....where's my mask?" Revan asked/
"Right here sir." The soldier said, passing Revan his mask.
"Thank you soldier." Revan placed the mask back upon his face and began to get up.
"By the way...how did you know I was here?" Revan asked.
"One of the dead soldier's comlink was still on, so we heard everything and came to see the result of the fight."
"All right then. Let's go." Revan replied, then began his way back to the hangar with the 4 red-armoured soldiers.

"Statement: I am a protocol droid of course." HK told the mechanic.
"Oh. All right. Let's take you to the droid storage room of the palace." The mechanic replied.
The 2 were going down a deserted hallway, then HK attacked, pulling the mechanic's blaster pistol out of his pocket. The mechanic yelled a loud death scream. 4 guards began running around the corner. Hk took them all out quickly and grabbed one of their rifles.
"Disappointed Statement: It seems these weapons are very weak compared to the usual weaponry I use. Ah well. I will just have to make do." HK readied the rifle and began hunting for his prey...

It was a soldier's duty to put their lives on the line, Matala knew, and a Jedi's life was sacrifice, but that didn't mean they had to die here. She rounded on the group, thinking they weren't taking the hint, and her gaze fell on one young Jedi in particular, wearing a strange looking Jedi outfit and a hairstyle that she immediately vowed to copy once she had her hair grow out.
"What are you waiting for?" the commando demanded at her, but the comment was meant for all of them. She waved the blaster overhead, shaking it at the palace. "Go on, get, get, before you croak!"

Mandro runs out side of the building to see the jedi and other soilders on the ground trying to cover timeselfs from the explosion and walks to them and ushers them inside silently and signals for them to hurry up. "There is much to be done..."

Carth and everyone else followed Mandro. But, as they passed the doors they heard several shuttles landing.
"Lock the doors!" Carth yelled to the guards on either side of the doors.
They followed his orders.
"Is there any other way in?" Bastila asked.
"No. The Queen specifically told the builders of the palace to only have one way in. So we're safe. For the moment." Mandro replied.
Sith soldiers were outside trying to shoot, slam and blow up the doors. But nothing worked, the doors were very resistant to outside forces. The soldiers soon gave up, but they didn't leave. They just stood outside.
"So, I guess we're stuck now. At least until reinforcements arrive. I wish we had brought more ships." Carth said.

Revan stood, once more on the bridge of his ship. But he was speaking to several mercenaries and bounty hunters.
"So, with more Republic ships arriving, I will need all of you to take care of as many officers and jedi as you can. If you are caught, then flash yourself with one of these...." Revan handed each of them a small device. "It will wipe any recollection of your mission and who hired you."
"What about the credits?" A droid-sounding voice said. It was Grogg with a small device on his throat to help others understand him better.
"The credits are here..." Revan replied, handing them each a blue credit with the sith symbol on it.
"You can bring these to a credit bank and you will receive your pay. Now get to your jobs." Revan said, leading them to the lift.

Got to get out there, Matala thought, but the dull ache in her side sapping her energy was enough to convince her that such an act would be suicidal and foolish.
"What's the word then?" she asked. Leaning against a wall for support the soldier looked at the Jedi, then down at herself. Matala's hand came away from her side, blood splattered against the palm. "Would you mind?" she asked.

"I'll help you with that." Bastila kneeled beside Matala.
She closed her eyes and began to use the force to stop the flow of blood and bring the flesh back together. She opened her eyes again.
"There you go. You'll be fine." Bastila smiled at her.
"So, as I said, what's the word?" Matala asked.
"Well, we'll hold here until more ships arrive and rescue us. So get comfortable." Carth replied.

**OOC: The tag thing is something used in a number of RPGs, specifically if you are trying to shift the story in a particular direction (for example, writing 'tag: Bastila' would be a hint to have whoever plays Bastila to get involved in that person's storyline). A lot of people like it being used, but it's not important to me either way.**
"Thanks." Matala forced a smile at the Jedi and looked around, listening to what was happening outside. Given it was Sith they were dealing with she got to her feet and reached back and withdrew her vibrosword. "Wonder if the Sith are getting comfortable." If it came to a firefight or sword battle they'd have to split up, Matala couldn't protect them all, and the commando began thinking about who to side with when she looked up. The royalty wouldn't like the idea forming in her mind one bit, she knew. Still it might be worth a shot. "Vantage points," she suggested, not happy to wait but keeping her mouth shut just the same. With that she began her way up the stairs, an eye on a window she could shoot out, but more interested in the walls, where there might be a weak point.
