Tower spire hangar, GAR temporary HQ, Desevro, one month after the Battle of Nelvaan

The darkness inside the hangar was lifted as the durasteel doors opened in the side of the snowcapped mountain to reveal the Jedi interceptor approaching in the distance. Snow flushed inside the open hangar as well as a blistering cold breeze, clone troopers and Republic technicians working diligently on a number of starfighters prepared for the oncoming assault by CIS forces. One often questioned why Desevro, but due to new developments with the planets government, they were forced to enlist aid from the Grand Army of the Republic in order to stave off Separatist occupation on the planets surface.

Two visible beings entered the hangar as they awaited the arrival of their Jedi General, Master Shorij. The first was clad in his standard Katarn armor, bearing his rank as Commander, and many of the clones paused their duties to salute him. The other seemed a more regal-looking, one of more noble status and didn't fit in well enough with the standard rank-and-file of the GAR boys.

“I do hope this Jedi General of yours will do the job, Commander Racin. The people of Desevro don't need to know that there is a conflict occurring in their midst between the Cronese and the Separatists.” The regal one said, reaching up to stroke his bushy dark beard, several flakes of snow making contact with it and melting on impact.

“You won't have much to worry about, Senator K'dorran. General Shorij will do his job and he'll do it quietly.” The clone commander stated, hands folded behind his back as the Interceptor touched down in the snowy hangar.

“Good, good. I also hope this Jedi Council hasn't sent one of their Hutt Jedi here. The other members of the Thirty-Seven Families wouldn't take kindly knowing that some of their own were being ordered around by some non-human.” The man chuckled, adjusting an ornate ring around his stubby finger.

“Hutt, sir?” Racin questioned.

“Hutt... you know boy, aliens? You should really spend more time here, perhaps purchase a home here when this bloody war of yours is over. You'd grow to like it here.” The man suggested, patting the clone on the back. Racin just stayed silent as the hatch popped open on the Jedi starcraft.

Much to the chagrin of the human Senator, out strode a bandy-looking creature with grayish fur the texture of moss and brilliant amber colored eyes. The creature took a deep inhale of air and placed a hand on his belt, gently clasping around the rectangular hilt of his lightsaber.

“Aah, it's good to be home.” The alien said, taking note of the apprehensiveness of the human man. Commander Racin saluted and the alien just nodded as a move of dismissal.

“H-home?! You mean to tell me you're--?”

“A native? Why yes! When I heard of the troubles your people were having, the Jedi Council was running low on volunteers, so lo and behold here I am!” Shorij chuckled, holding out his arms as if to embrace K'dorran and watched the man visibly cringe. He forced himself to bow in reverence and quickly backpedaled from the hangar.

“My, my... I wonder what's gotten into him?”

I welcome you to The Last Days Before Order 66 and do hope you'll grow accustomed to the way I have set things up for the basis of this game. As the name suggests, the game takes place during the Clone Wars and the characters within will be engaged in conflicts both political and physical all throughout the galaxy. More will be detailed in my rules which are to follow, but for now, a little backstory on exactly when this is all happening:

It is shortly one standard month after the Battle of Nelvaan, and the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) are stationed about the galaxy under the command of many Jedi Generals and Commanders. The Separatist forces are also gaining favor with new systems in which the Republic wishes to remain in control of.

This is where you come in. As a player, you'll likely want to play a Jedi, and that's fine with me. You can all be Jedi if you like, but again, please wait to read my rules. You'll see why that's a problem. At least be diverse in what you wish to play. If you have any questions, I'm open to receiving a private message outside of the game.

Now for my rules:

What you can't do:
1a) Have bloodline ties with any character in the Star Wars universe. This goes for minor characters that may have existed or have yet to exist in the Expanded Universe (like Carth Onasi or Darth Talon). The only exception would likely be any clone troopers being made from the same genetic material as Jango Fett.
1b) God mode. This is rather self explanatory but let me give you some examples: Jedi with Kaiburr crystals, a single clone taking on an army of battle droids, having knowledge of events to come etc.
1c) Have close personal ties/conflict with any character in the Star Wars universe. This doesn't mean that you couldn't have met Jedi Master Yoda or have come close to dueling General Grievous or even as far to say, have a crush on Aayla Secura, but keep in mind that in doing so would have greatly influenced the history of your character.
1d) Play an already established character from the Star Wars universe. This means no one will be playing Anakin Skywalker, no one will be Palpatine. They are GM characters and rightly so. Forge your own destiny, don't milk the teat of someone else's.

What you can do:
2a) Play whatever kind of character you like (within reason). You may play a Jedi Master skilled in the art of lightsaber combat, a Clone Commander in charge of many troops, a renegade dark Jedi, or even a Senator from some world rarely recognized in the Galactic Senate. Just keep in mind the game itself will be taking place during the Clone Wars, and as a result, some character options just aren't there. Examples being Sith Lords, Yuuzhan Vong, Ewoks.
2b) Be realistic. If you want to play a clone trooper with numerous weapons at his disposal, that is fine, but keep in mind that if you want to carry the heavy blaster cannon, you don't really need (or have room to carry) the two vibroblades, the sniper rifle, the DC-15 etc etc. Also for those who want to use lightsabers, having a double-bladed saber is alright as well, but it's meant to be held in two hands. So having two of them at once puts you at a disadvantage doesn't it?
2c) Start yourself anywhere in the known universe. Yes, you get to start yourself wherever you like. The dusty Sith world of Korriban, in orbit over a strange world engaged in a giant naval battle against Separatist forces, meeting with members of the Senate on Coruscant, etc.

What to expect:
3a) Order 66 will, and I repeat, will happen. It may happen right away, or it may happen much later in the game but for those of us who like playing Jedi or force users, if you're known to be one (namely by your carrying of a lightsaber) you will be targeted by any clones that may be around you or have knowledge of where you are.
3b) Very little GM intervention outside of NPC interactions. You will have free reign over what your character does, and as long as you don't go too far overboard, you're more than welcome to do what you like.
3c) Sooner or later characters are drawn together, and when they are, expect the unexpected. A Jedi meeting up with a Clone after Order 66 has been issued may find it hard to not defend themselves against a volley of blasterfire.
3d) A game of moderate length. I would like this to continue past the execution of Order 66 but not so far as to the completion of the first Death Star.
3e) No set character sheet. You may fill out any character sheet describing as much (or as little) of your character as you like, but do keep in mind I would at least like some idea of what your character's background has been like.

What I expect from you:
4a) Quality posts. A location and an IC reference of some kind to indicate your character as well as a TAG to determine who you are speaking with (if anyone at all). Your posts don't need to be seven pages in Microsoft Word, but a decent length with a bit of detail won't hurt. It also makes it an enjoyable experience for those involved.
4b) Original ideas and characters. I look forward to seeing what those of you out there have when it comes to character creation.
4c) Any character you want to participate in this game should be sent to me prior to posting in the thread. This is just a precaution so I don't end up letting in the next Lord of the Sith or Chewbacca's cousin.
4d) I will only be accepting a maximum of 15 players into the game. You will have one character and one character only. Should your character die for any reason, you may have one backup character. However if this game gets popular enough, I may be allowing more characters into the game and may have to ask for a Co-GM if needed.
4e) Have fun. You would not participate in a game if you weren't set on having fun correct?

And that my friends, is the game in a nutshell. I will start once I have more than half of the needed 15 players, and I will have a roster up when that time comes. When the roster has been posted with 8 of the 15 player slots filled, you may begin your own individual posting.

I look forward to playing with everyone here. May the Force be with you... always.

Personality: cold, calm, analytical
Likes: power, control, recognition
Dislikes: most people, especially aliens outside the realm of human or almost human
Personal Talents/Skills: can heal extremely fast, is very intuitive and shows little emotion which is very helpful in his career
Weaknesses: inability to hide anger or fear due to changing skin.

Affiliation: Republic
Occupation Within Faction: Senate Bureau of Intelligence – POW/Interrogations division
Rank: Chief Officer - Information Extraction
Weapons: Model 434 blaster pistol, often carries a concussion stick for intimidation

Personal Spacecraft
-Name: Eye of Caerus
-Class: Firespray-class starship
-Basic Description: same basic ship as Slave I, minus so many modifications

Biography: Hylas was born into the most respected and very affluent family of a notoriously heartless and power-hungry clan on Firrerre. After a trip to Coruscant at a young age, Hylas saw the city-planet and knew he was destined for much more than running a clan on Firrerre. He begged to be sent to school in the Republic capital and by the time he was 12, his family obliged. Once on Coruscant, Hylas never looked back. He was completing his curriculum at an astonishing rate and with impeccable accuracy; his unusual intellectual prowess led to his recruitment at the young age of 17 to the Senate Intelligence Oversight Committee. Never one for modesty though, Hylas quickly grew tired with his mostly administrative role and moved on to what he deemed a brighter future with the Senate Bureau of Intelligence (SBI).

He started out as an intelligence analyst, but with hard work and determination quickly moved on to become a junior agent. His work in the field proved to be much less than exceptional, but the expertise with which he handled criminals and was able to procure valuable information from them caught the eye of his superiors. Over the course of a little more than a decade Hylas moved from any number of a sea of administrative “clones” to a prominent position as the Chief Officer of Information Extraction for the SBI’s POW/Interrogations division. Though his tactics are often questioned by other departments and sometimes even by his own service-members, he has managed to create a covert “blanket” of sorts to protect his more critical and unorthodox operations. Of course, no one complains once the information is obtained.

Biography
-Personal History: Born on Talus, Dearic, Kalos Nexan had a quiet and simple upbringing. His mother and father both were sought out by the Jedi Council for their force affinity, but only one of them saw the opportunity through. Kalos' mother was steady in her progression to Padawan, but upon reaching that status, she slipped out of the Council's grasp and decided, sadly, it was not the life for her. Her powers were very watered down, but assisted her greatly during her role of Captain of Dearic Security Force. She settled down with the Head Chief of DSF, gave birth to Kalos and monitored the boy for any expected sensitivity to the force. Reminiscent of her childhood, the Jedi visited the Nexan household to inquire as to the boy's force potential, and managed to persuade them, if they did not give the boy over for Jedi tutoring, he risked becoming a tool of a greater evil. His training as a Jedi Youngling was very successful, and he was chosen quickly to be the Padawan of Jedi Master Talol'rin, a blue-skinned Twilek who was more than confident of his Padawan's abilities. Talol'rin was a casualty of the First Battle of Rhen Var, which deeply impacted Kalos' view of the Jedi beliefs.
--Military History: Kalos has had little military history, and as a newly appointed Jedi Commander, he hopes to play a larger role in the war against the Separatists.
---Traumatic Experiences: During the First Battle of Rhen Var, Talol'rin was cornered by two AATs, and had relied on his Padawan to flank the two assault vehicles while they were occupied. Unfortunately, Kalos was held up by a small patrol of Super Battle Droids, and returned soon to find Master Talol'rin's fried body.

---Personal History:

Born on an a planet still unknown to Dacen his first memory was being at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant training with his Youngling Class. In the Temple he excelled in the Physical aspects of training especially lightsaber play and the Martial Arts sparring matches between trainees. Though his knowledge of the practical application of the Force was somewhat lacking outside of its combat applications Dacen was a well rounded trainee.

At age twelve he was picked by a Jedi Knight Ralek Narren. Ralek trained Dacen well and soon he was on a fast track to his knighthood till he could not escape the temptation of love. On one of his rare free nights Dacen took to wandering Coruscant aimlessly. It was on this night that Dacen met the first and last person he would ever truly love Kalei Groman. He met her at a fitting place for one as beautiful as her a park, one of the last natural places on the urban world of Coruscant. The two hit it off immediately and became good friends. Then after a couple months of this Dacen made the worst choice a Jedi can make he broke the code and began a secret relationship with her. Every night Dacen would sneak out to meet her. This continued for many months until he was finally caught by Ralek. Ralek reminded him of the Jedi code and he was given a choice the Jedi or her and he chose her.

After leaving the Order Dacen stayed with Kalei's family for a time until Kalei decided to break it off to "explore other options." Dacen devastated instantly joined the Military where because of his Jedi training he was picked up for Black Ops. His training was intense and prepared him well for his mission which was to work alone anywhere in the Galaxy and eliminate threats to the Republic's safety. After 10 years and hundreds of missions he would rather not talk about Dacen retired from the Military and began a career as a mercenary where he worked only a couple jobs a year and basically spent most of his time thinking about how his life could have been better if he had done things differently.

Now with the outbreak of the Clone Wars Dacen has been called upon again by the Republic to help them in the fight against the CIS.

---Military History: Jedi Training till age 15
---Traumatic Experiences: Jedi Training, then Black Ops Training and the decision of the love of his life to leave him.

Proud Player of Jedi Knight Lon. This Character is Accepted and Approved for this RPG!

Name: Lon Ka'jaire
Race: Bothan
Age: 26
Height:5'6
Weight: 130
Birth place: Coruscant (Jedi Temple)
Appearance:

(Wears white Jedi Cloak over blue robes)

Faction: Jedi
Rank: Knight - Sentinel

Bio:

A forgotten past (Prologue)
A laser flew by her head. Furoy Ka'jaire ran as fast as she could down the alleyway. She was carrying a baby still, pregnant. Her husband died years ago, after being exiled from the Jedi Order for Treason. Furoy turned a corner as five more laser bolts were flying at her. Her blue and white clothes were tattered, she was having contractions and her unborn son was going to be born on the streets if she could not find shelter soon.

Furoy turned another corner, trying her hardest to escape from the Volunteer Police Force. They were chasing her, because she had just stolen food. Her bare feet hit the ground with soft thuds as she grew tired; exhausted. She turned four more corners, until she saw it. The Jedi Temple located on Coruscant: The very place that had exiled her deceased husband. She stopped for a moment; she had to think fast. She could hear the men's clomping boots behind her as they grew nearer.

She took off running toward the Temple in a desperate path for shelter. She reached the door and began pounding on them. The men were coming down the streets from the alleys, guns raised. Then, the door opened, about knocking Furoy off balance. She looked up at the man who might have well just saved her life. “Please, help me. Their after me-baby-about to give birth!” She screamed. “Come in, come in,” said the Jedi rushing Furoy to enter and took her to the medical bay.

There, she gave birth to her son only fifteen minutes after entering the Temple. Furoy's last words were: “His name shall be Lon Ka'jaire”. Then, she died, right there on the bed, a minute after giving birth.

Being raised by Jedi
The only thing Lon remembers of his past is being raised by the medics stationed at the Jedi Temple. Once he turned the age of four, he was introduced to training. He was lectured on the Force, how is flows through every being in the universe, how a Jedi's strength comes from the Force. He also began to train with a Lightsaber, under the guidance of various masters. Different masters taught him different things. He also was issued meditations alone, as were the other Younglings.

Lon was very dedicated to his studies in both Lightsaber Combat and Force Abilities. He could usually be found reading in the Jedi Library or training with his training saber. Through the years, Lon's knowledge grew rapidly. He was very intelligent for a Youngling. Before he knew it, he was already eleven. He had been training for six years. It was unbelievable that the time went by that fast. In two years Lon would possibly become a Padawan. He was anxious, but hid these feelings. A Jedi could not show these things; feelings or emotions. Over the next two years, Lon began to try and think of who his Jedi Master would be.

Training under a Master
Lon came before the Council, trying his best not to feel anxious, but his attempts failed before the Council. He was foolish to try and hide his feelings from the Council. After being lectured on becoming a Padawan, Lon was put under the training of Jedi Master Nuhil Gorn.

Gorn wielded a duel-phased orange Lightsaber.
Soon after being put under his mastery, Lon was granted the privilege to make his own lightsaber. Gorn gave Lon a choice to travel to a different planet and find his own unique crystal or stay at the temple and use one of theirs. Lon chose to go and find his own. The two traveled to Llum. Upon landing, Lon and Master Gorn made their way to the crystal caves. Lon searched for a color crystal and a power crystal. He found both soon enough. The color crystal was dark green.

After he had collected both his crystals, Lon followed Gorn back to their ship. They made their way back to Coruscant. Once they had landed they walked back to the Jedi Temple. For the next few months, Lon was to meditate on his crystal and slowly construct his own Lightsaber. Every day, Lon would alter his crystal more, making it a darker shade of green, until it was to his liking. He also constructed his hilt. Then, he finally was able to insert his crystal to the hilt.

After constructing his lightsaber, Lon was able to begin training in new forms of Lightsaber Combat and Force Abilities. He also could go on missions with Gorn. Gorn began to teach Lon the Niman technique. It took Lon only a few years to learn all the form that Gorn wished to teach him. Lon had only learned the basics of the form, however. He still had to train in them. He also learned more about the Force. Through the training Gorn supplied, Lon found his way toward Force Healing, which he had never considered before. He soon found out his talent in this technique.

It proved useful when on missions with Gorn. Especially After the many years of Gorn's training, Lon was strong enough to take the Trials.

Introduced to the Jedi Trials

Trial of Skill/Courage
Lon's Trial of Skill took place on Mustafar. Gorn had been knocked away by their hooded opponent. The hooded man was indeed a Dark Jedi by the name of Bishop. The mission assigned to Gorn and Lon was to stop this threat to the Republic and the Jedi Order. Lon's trial was passed by him defeating the Dark Jedi by himself, as Gorn was on a disconnected platform. Lon slashed his green blade at the Dark Jedi's red one. The blades locked with a flash of orange light and in a shower of golden sparks.

The man, Bishop, attempted to corrupt Lon's mind. Join me and strike down your Master. Join me and become powerful. Gorn shouted through the Force to Lon No, you know what is right! Do not let this man corrupt you and destroy everything you've worked for! Lon followed his master's guidance, ignoring the words of Bishop. The Bishop roared with the rage of his failure and began to fight back, now trying to strike Lon down. Lon blocked Bishop's attempts at cutting him.

With a use of the backhanded technique of combat, Lon blocked a blow from Bishop, then, quickly switching back to Makashi, cut Bishop in half. Lon looked down at his dead opponent and collapsed. He woke up a week later in the Jedi Temple. His Padawan robes were at the foot of his bed, as was his Lightsaber. He made a full recovery and then was brought before the Council. The Masters told him he had under gone two of the four Trials he would have to achieve to become a Jedi Knight.

Lon asked for an explanation. The Council told him he had passed the Trial of Skill by defeating the Dark Jedi. And, he had passed the Trial of Courage by looking on in the face of danger and not fleeing.

Trial of Spirit
Lon's Trial of Spirit was administered by the very Jedi who had saved his mother, Master Vas'taer, a Twi'lek male. The Trial was an induced vision of his mother. Master Vas'taer put the vision into Lon's head and made him watch it. What Lon saw almost made him renounce the Jedi.

He had never known who his mother or father was and now... Master Vas'taer was making him watch their deaths. Lon saw his mother die giving birth to him. Then, he saw his father's death:

Kin Ka'jaire sat in the center of his room, in his house located on Bothawui. He was attempting to meditate. His connection with the Force was severely weakened ever since he was exiled. His sense was still as sharp, however. Mostly because of his natural ability to sense danger. When doing so, his hair stood on end. Since being exiled, Kin became a normal civilian, moving back to Bothawui. He married soon after coming back to his home planet. His wife was Furoy Ka'jaire. She was a very beautiful Bothan female.

Kin's eyes were shut and his legs crossed beneath him. His hands hovered just above his legs. He attempted to lift the wooden staff before him with the Force. Nothing. He opened his eyes with such speed that it took him some time to see what was before him. He centered himself, standing up. His hair was standing up. Someone was coming toward his house and fast. He grabbed the double-sided vibrosword from his weapons rack.

He ran out of the door and onto the streets of his village. Just beyond the horizon, three figures were coming into view, sprinting. They were three, masked, and hooded figures. Then, they suddenly flipped to the bottom of the hill and began to run toward Kin. They stopped no less than ten feet away.

In four different bursts of red, yellow, gold, and silver light, four different Lightsabers were ignited. One of the hooded men held two Lightsabers; one silver and the other gold. Another held a duel-phased one; yellow. The last held a single hilt Lightsaber; red. Kin brought his vibrosword up in a whirl. With the combination of the sun's reflection and the many Lightsaber blades, Kin's sword looked like a double-bladed rainbow.

The figure with the double-bladed Lightsaber ran at Kin. Kin blocked the man's blows, as the man's allies came into the battle. Kin was soon overcome by the Dark Jedi. His last words were: “Run, Furyo! Run and hide!”. Then, Kin was struck down by the Dark Jedi.

Lon collapsed to the floor of the chamber he had been occupying with Vas'taer. ”Why did they kill him,”Lon asked Vas'taer after recovering from the traumatic vision. Minutes past, then an answer came: “They could sense you coming. They sensed your mother's pregnancy of you. They wanted to stop yet another Jedi from being born, but they did not succeed, as you can see...” Lon was left to reflect on what he had seen. He had passed the Trial, but just barely.

Trial of Flesh
The Trial of Flesh, for Lon happened on a particular mission located on Dantooine's surface. Gorn and Lon were sent to just stop a small outbreak of war between the salvagers and the government system. Their first plan proved foolish. They tried to use peaceful negotiations, but the salvagers refused and continued their war. Lon and Gorn were forced to intervene in the war, siding with the government. Gorn came out of the battle with few scratches, but Lon came out with more than Gorn. Lon’s Master had fortunately made Lon train into Force Healing under a Jedi Healer. Lon concentrated on his wounds. It took some time to heal them, but he did.

After that day, Lon continued his training in Force Healing, among other abilities, and the many techniques he had been introduced to, in Lightsaber Combat. The Council Members simply said that he had passed his last Trial.

The Knighting
Lon was knighted by Gorn. He sat on one knee before Gorn. About fifty or so lightsabers ignited all around him of all sorts of colors and hues: Blue, green, red, purple, gold, silver, bronze, gray, etc. Gorn spoke, “Step forward, Padawan. Lon Ka‘jaire, by the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, I dub thee, Jedi Knight of the Republic.” Gorn slashed his orange Lightsaber through the air, severing Lon’s braid.

Lon bowed once, and then made his way to his chambers.

Lon continued to train in the way of the Force, as in the various Lightsaber techniques he had learned from Gorn. Lon slowly grew into a powerful Jedi Knight. Lon turned twenty-six a few years after becoming a Jedi Knight.

GM APPROVED!

Name: A.C.C.D 1000 (Assassination, Combat and Command Droid)

Age: 2 years

Species: Droid

Planet of Birth: Unknown

Gender: N/A

Appearance: Somewhat similar to the IG-100 MagnaGuards, except the body is not only more insect like and angler, but is of a pure obsidian black, excpet for his deep red Photoreceptors located on its face…though it also contains a hidden one at the back of the head as well as the stomach, legs and arms.

Affiliation: CIS

Rank: Admiral/ General/ Former Special Ops Droid

Weapons: two short electrostaffs (that can combine into one), ion cannon and disrupter built in his chest, 4 retractable almost tentacle likeappendages, with blade ends enforced with Mandolarian Iron…each with a total length of 4 meters each.

Personal ship: The Cyclops - Providence-class carrier/destroyer as his flagship, as well as three other Providence class ships

Bio:

Built as one of many proto type models to be used as Grievous desire for intelligent efficient Droids (who could run autonomously as well) to serve as his body guards and elite troops. However unlike the MagnaGuards, it was even more cost inefficient then thought possible. Though it filled both roles Grievous desired, the sure amount of money poured would make it impossible to use as anything other as a handful of body guards. Because of this only one was created, and it was only spared termination due to Grievous intervention. Instead it was sent on a mission, after being in trained in combat by Grievous himself.

The mission was far from a simple one, his task was sneak behind enemy during a fevered battle between the CIS, and Republic forces led by High General Yoda, and take enemy battle data, containing various strategies and tactics currently being by Republic forces throughout Galaxy. Though A.C.C.D succeeded, killing Jedi Knights in the process, he was only able to take the Data by downloading it within himself. From it an unexpected event occurred, ACCD, comprehended the data like no other could, becoming in his own right a tactical genius. With in him lay the tactical mindset of Jedi generals such as Obi Kenboi, Yoda, and Ki-Adi-Mundi

After both handing off the data to Grievous and demonstrating his skills, once again against the CIS council’s wishes, ACCD was assigned a small fleet on the Outer Rim. With it, he has pulled off victory, after victory for the CIS. The only failure on his nearly perfect record, was defeat handed to him by Saesee Tiin over the Ice world of Arkian, an important world to The Republic for location next to many hyperspace routes. Saesee Tiin won because of a mixture of blind luck and his own superior combat skills. Nonetheless he is recognized as one of the most prominent strategists in the Clone Wars and is highly respected.

Biography
---Personal History: Zander was taken by the Jedi at a young age from his homeworld of Iridonia. He knew little about his parents, only that they were skilled warriors and explorers. He grew up in the Temple on Coruscant, living a typical Jedi youngling's childhood. He was a keen learner, always eager to gain knowledge, in the Force and everything else. A Master noticed his natural talent in melee combat, and assigned him a personal JTR-47 Training droid to help him further his skills. The young Zabrak developed a close friendship with the droid, and subsquently modified it to be fluent in other fields, such as basic computer knowledge, and some other languages. JT often followed him on missions, providing aid and companionship.

Zander was taken as Master Ketha Quadrix's Padawan at age 12. The pair completed many missions successfully, proving to be a reliable Master-Padawan Team. He was knighted at the age of 25, and has yet to take on a Padawan of his own. He fought in the Battle of Geonosis, and following that, travelled to many systems fighting the Seperatists.
---Military History: Trained as Jedi, with particular training in melee combat.
---Traumatic Experiances: An eighteen year old Zander and his Master were sent to resolve a diplomatic conflict on the planet of Atzerri. The Padawan's rashness during the mission resulted in his Master losing her sight. Even though his Master never blamed him, Zander never fully forgave himself. He learned from the experience, becoming less impulsive and more cautious.

Well I am proud to say we have a great turnout of players and we will still be accepting players all throughout the game so don't let that stop you from joining in all of you who are still contemplating whether or not this game is for you. Your benevolent GM,

IC Hylas Errias

SBI Executive Offices, Senate Building, Coruscant

Hylas watched in disdain as the two alien Jedi solemnly stood to see themselves out of his office. It had been yet another "meeting" with the Jedi - each time different faces but always the same message: all but accusing Hylas and his departmental officials of tactics "not in keeping" with the Jedi way. "Jedi, wait..." Hylas exasperatedly let out causing them to turn around just as they were reaching the exit, "I would just like to remind you - I've no loyalty to, nor do I choose adherence to your creed. Perhaps more of us would tolerate your presence in our government if it was not always so nauseating". His skin was wavering between gold and silver at this point - the Jedi stared expressionless, like stone, as usual and Hylas waved them out and re-focused his attention just as the younger one began to open her lips, undoubtedly to retort in some holier-than-thou, pretentious manner.

Even as the Jedi departed, Hylas found his anxiety and anger beyond his control. Not just due to the Jedi, but also because of a looming feeling of despair that he felt. The war had been raging for nearly 3 years at this point, and the information his teams and his department as a whole had been obtaining was becoming less and less pertinent and more and more leading to nearly fruitless missions and agendas. He could feel the wind of change - and either way things seemed dim. He was at his wits end with the Jedi within the Republic - and while he secretly did not disagree with some of their ideologies, he also feared an overall triumph by the CIS in the war.

IC: Kalos Nexan
Location: Main Hall, Jedi Temple, Coruscant

'Can I remember a day where I've felt as displaced as this? I don't think I can.'

'Can I really blame the Confedaracy hundred percent for what has happened? No, I don't think so.'

'We are taught to center ourselves in times when we may feel like putting our personal commitments ahead of our duty. So... had I acted as a Padawan, to save my Master, instead of doing as he told, would it have been wrong?'

'There were AATs left, right and centre. He told me strictly to flank, as opposed to a direct attack, to catch them off guard. But...if only I had attacked directly...if only I hadn't been sworn by that damned policy. If only I hadn't listened.'

'If only.'

Strolling the corridors of the Jedi Temple, Kalos Nexan was surrounded by student and teacher groups, and various other Jedi spending their free time chatting quietly amongst themselves. But Kalos had never felt so alone. Master Talol'rin always reminded him: the Force within a living being can never be expropriated, and thus, it will always be there at your time of need. Then where was the Force now? He certainly did not feel it was there, like he did most days. He was being told to report to the Jedi Council, that maybe there was a Master there that would consider taking him on as a Padawan. He did not see any possibility in this. The Jedi numbers were at an all time low, for as much as he had ever seen. Many had devoted their time and effort to supporting the Republic against its enemy, the innumerous Confedaracy of Independant Systems.

Either way, it would not hurt to see how his destiny would unfold. Or maybe it would. "Always in motion, the future is."

Reaching the High Council Chamber, Kalos waited outside for confirmation that he was allowed to enter. Having never entered this chamber before, the Padawan had his expectations of its superior quality.

“Relax,” he whispered to himself. “If they sense how agitated I am, this could turn out real bad.”

IC: Dacen Mano
Location: A small Condo on Coruscant

Beep, beeb, beeb, beeb,

Rang the alarm clock in Dacen's room. He awoke very slowly and groggily as he tried to recover from a terrible hangover. his head felt like it had a hammer pounding on it. He instinctively reached over to his night table to look for his cigarettes. He took one out lit it and sat up while mumbling

"Crap,what happended last night."

As soon as the the words came out of his mouth the memories flooded in, it was a night of hard drinking at one of the seedier bars in Coruscant to help soothe his thoughts when it came to Kalei and his younger life. As he was standing up to look at himself in the mirror he noticed his Datapad was blinking. The display said he had a new text message, when he opened the file the first words he saw were

"To Dacen Mano this is an official message from the Galactic Republic"

He already knew what the letter was about it was fromt the Galactic Republic that they have need of his skill and that he should gather his things and report to the Jedi Temple and await a mission. From the beginning of the war Dacen had always had a suspicion that they would come looking for his help, so he tried not to get too comfortable. Since he was basically already packed he just picked up his things and walked out the door, but as he was closing it one thought came to mind, a detail he had forgotten in his hung over haze,

"I'm going back to the Temple!"

IC: Admiral ACCD
Near the Rim of Taris Space, The Cyclops

“Zzzzz…IG-101…Tell the Droids to prepare for the fleet to Launch in Republic space in 15 minutes. Make sure Shields, Weapons, Engines, and all other equipment is tested. Zzzzzz” ACCD said silently in droid, looking at his fake fingers as he did so. As the Droid hummed in recognition and understanding, and set about ordering and programming the droids with their new instructions, he merely extended his mechanical fingers, humming pleasntly as he did so.

Taris, a Mercantile world that was bombarded by Darth Malak thousands of years ago, beyond belief, only later to be restored to its former glory as one of the Greatest shipyards on the Outer Rim. Though far from one might call a Coreilla, it was offered a large boon to Battle Cruiser production the Republic war effort. Ships produced here where sent directly to the frontlines to blast his brothers out of the skies. Why they hadn’t done something about this earlier was beyond him. Maybe they thought it would be impossible to past the lax Republic line of defense to get here, on top of fighting a large Fleet that would defend the shipyard. How wrong they where. Luckily they Banking Guild had some faith in him as well, and allowed him to take command of extra Providence class ship for this raid on the faculty. He expected to even out number the small Republic forces guarding the ship yard left out in the open.

The real task, ACCD hoped, was to make it back to Separatist space, further in the Outer Rim territories. That was pretty far into the Rim though. Word was General Grievous himself was in hiding for the moment, so the most he might be able to hope was to make it into Separatist Rallying point or Stronghold and hope to deter the Republic forces from wanting to pursue him any further.

ACCD looked out of the Ships bridge, towards the small white crescent moon right in front of his forces. How small all of them where, even the greatest, in comparison to the rest of the universe. Compared to this even.

“Admiral, preparations are complete, the ships are at 100% efficiency and are operational” the MangaGuard hummed out, as it then turned around and returned to its post.

“Zzz....All ships, PREPARE TO JUMP!Zzz”

SBI Executive Offices, Senate Building, Coruscant

Even as Hylas had been without the Jedi's company for less than a few moments, the head of the Bureau strode slowly, or waddled rather, down the hallway not bothering to knock as he was infamous for doing. The squat alien puffed at a thick cigarra and wheezed a little upon narrowing his gaze upon the Chief Officer. This man, Tresh Rend, had been on assignments all throughout the galaxy over the course of the war, and now after finally arriving back on Coruscant, he had time to take leave...

... and leave a more important mission within Hylas's capable hands.

Hylas my boy, why don't we have a little chat about you and the Jedi... they seem to be as arrogant as ever hmm?” The Kitonak head intelligence officer huffed slowly, chuckling to himself as his belly rumbled with every throaty chortle. He knew of several members of the SBI who were having troubles with the Jedi interfering in their business and those few were ready to bear their fangs and lash out at the precious “Generals of the Republic”.

Main Hall, Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Inside the High Council Chamber, only three Jedi Masters sat, two others replaced by holograms. It would have seemed that the rest of the Masters were busy with conflicts against the Separatist armies in other parts of the galaxy. They could sense Kalos outside of the Chamber, and the few present Jedi exchanged glances a moment as they allowed the young padawan to wait a moment or so longer.

“The boy isn't ready for such a task.” Ki-Adi-Mundi spoke, his voice distorted by the glitchy hologram he projected from a far off world. He rubbed the area between his eyes as if frustrated to have heard some audacious suggestion.

“I beg to disagree. Although he is without a Master, therein lies his potential to greatly serve the Republic and the Jedi Order. Kalos Nexan
will become a Jedi Knight.” Plo Koon explained, sighing softly as he looked to the others with a hopeful glance.

“We cannot allow him to know of this decision, for even now, he doubts himself and holds a great amount of grief for the loss of Talol'rin. His heart may be clouded, but we will need one to guide him. We will plant a Master alongside him to watch his progress. If Kalos even suspects he is taking the trials, one does not know what will happen.” Agen Kolar's hologram spoke. The rest of the Council nodded with their decision having been made, looking to the cloaked figure in the corner, the large snout of the being the only visible part of its large, looming form.

With a wave of his hand, Plo Koon opened the Council Chamber doors and welcomed the young Padawan into the chamber among the holograms of Agen Kolar and Ki-Adi-Mundi, with the physical forms of himself, Saesee Tiin and Kit Fisto. They all remained silent a moment before answering the immediate question surely placed at the front of Kalos's mind:

Kalos Nexan, we the members of the Jedi Council have decided that you are to be placed under the care of a more experienced Master. One who will do well to train you and guide you through these troubling times...” Fisto spoke, his inky-black eyes showing no hint of what the Council's purpose was. All the members remained stoic and silent, each observing the Padawan in their own way as the cloaked figure moved further into darkness.

“You have questions, I assume?”

A small Condo on Coruscant

A chuckle echoed along the street where Dacen's condominium was located, despite the roaring traffic of speeders and other sources of noise such as factories and the like. It wasn't long before five figures could be seen through hazy ripples that faded with an electric sparking, four of which bore jet-black Katarn armor. The other bore a more unique form of armor, one that hadn't been seen around Coruscant very often... unless someone was hunted.

“Well if it isn't the
ge'verd Jedi Dacen Mano. You know, if my boys and myself weren't just looking for you, you could have been aiwha bait as soon as you stepped out the door.” The strangely armored one said, slipping his helmet off of his head, revealing his dark, rustic skin and dark hair tied back in dreadlocks. He was a good decade or more younger than Mano, but only few knew of the Cuy'val Dar or as some knew them, the ones who were chosen by Jango Fett himself to train the clones. Harros Polander was one such man. Gifted in stealth, and that is what his clones knew and thrived by: stealth and assassination.

Each of the four troopers moved forward, giving a dull stare through dark helmets towards the former Jedi, and their heads moved as if having some form of silent conversation among themselves. Harros moved forward and clasped his armored gauntlet on Dacen's shoulder.

“Come on
ba'buir , we mustn't keep the Jedi waiting...” Said the Mando with a cunning smirk.
