The darkness inside the hangar was lifted as the durasteel doors opened in the side of the snowcapped mountain to reveal the Jedi interceptor approaching in the distance. Snow flushed inside the open hangar as well as a blistering cold breeze, clone troopers and Republic technicians working diligently on a number of starfighters prepared for the oncoming assault by CIS forces. One often questioned why Desevro, but due to new developments with the planets government, they were forced to enlist aid from the Grand Army of the Republic in order to stave off Separatist occupation on the planets surface. Two visible beings entered the hangar as they awaited the arrival of their Jedi General, Master Shorij. The first was clad in his standard Katarn armor, bearing his rank as Commander, and many of the clones paused their duties to salute him. The other seemed a more regal-looking, one of more noble status and didn't fit in well enough with the standard rank-and-file of the GAR boys. “I do hope this Jedi General of yours will do the job, Commander Racin. The people of Desevro don't need to know that there is a conflict occurring in their midst between the Cronese and the Separatists.” The regal one said, reaching up to stroke his bushy dark beard, several flakes of snow making contact with it and melting on impact. “You won't have much to worry about, Senator K'dorran. General Shorij will do his job and he'll do it quietly.” The clone commander stated, hands folded behind his back as the Interceptor touched down in the snowy hangar. “Good, good. I also hope this Jedi Council hasn't sent one of their Hutt Jedi here. The other members of the Thirty-Seven Families wouldn't take kindly knowing that some of their own were being ordered around by some non-human.” The man chuckled, adjusting an ornate ring around his stubby finger. “Hutt, sir?” Racin questioned. “Hutt... you know boy, aliens? You should really spend more time here, perhaps purchase a home here when this bloody war of yours is over. You'd grow to like it here.” The man suggested, patting the clone on the back. Racin just stayed silent as the hatch popped open on the Jedi starcraft. Much to the chagrin of the human Senator, out strode a bandy-looking creature with grayish fur the texture of moss and brilliant amber colored eyes. The creature took a deep inhale of air and placed a hand on his belt, gently clasping around the rectangular hilt of his lightsaber. “Aah, it's good to be home.” The alien said, taking note of the apprehensiveness of the human man. Commander Racin saluted and the alien just nodded as a move of dismissal. “H-home?! You mean to tell me you're--?” “A native? Why yes! When I heard of the troubles your people were having, the Jedi Council was running low on volunteers, so lo and behold here I am!” Shorij chuckled, holding out his arms as if to embrace K'dorran and watched the man visibly cringe. He forced himself to bow in reverence and quickly backpedaled from the hangar. “My, my... I wonder what's gotten into him?”
1a) Have bloodline ties with any character in the Star Wars universe. This goes for minor characters that may have existed or have yet to exist in the Expanded Universe (like Carth Onasi or Darth Talon). The only exception would likely be any clone troopers being made from the same genetic material as Jango Fett. 1b) God mode. This is rather self explanatory but let me give you some examples: Jedi with Kaiburr crystals, a single clone taking on an army of battle droids, having knowledge of events to come etc. 1c) Have close personal ties/conflict with any character in the Star Wars universe. This doesn't mean that you couldn't have met Jedi Master Yoda or have come close to dueling General Grievous or even as far to say, have a crush on Aayla Secura, but keep in mind that in doing so would have greatly influenced the history of your character. 1d) Play an already established character from the Star Wars universe. This means no one will be playing Anakin Skywalker, no one will be Palpatine. They are GM characters and rightly so. Forge your own destiny, don't milk the teat of someone else's.
2a) Play whatever kind of character you like (within reason). You may play a Jedi Master skilled in the art of lightsaber combat, a Clone Commander in charge of many troops, a renegade dark Jedi, or even a Senator from some world rarely recognized in the Galactic Senate. Just keep in mind the game itself will be taking place during the Clone Wars, and as a result, some character options just aren't there. Examples being Sith Lords, Yuuzhan Vong, Ewoks. 2b) Be realistic. If you want to play a clone trooper with numerous weapons at his disposal, that is fine, but keep in mind that if you want to carry the heavy blaster cannon, you don't really need (or have room to carry) the two vibroblades, the sniper rifle, the DC-15 etc etc. Also for those who want to use lightsabers, having a double-bladed saber is alright as well, but it's meant to be held in two hands. So having two of them at once puts you at a disadvantage doesn't it? 2c) Start yourself anywhere in the known universe. Yes, you get to start yourself wherever you like. The dusty Sith world of Korriban, in orbit over a strange world engaged in a giant naval battle against Separatist forces, meeting with members of the Senate on Coruscant, etc.
3a) Order 66 will, and I repeat, will happen. It may happen right away, or it may happen much later in the game but for those of us who like playing Jedi or force users, if you're known to be one (namely by your carrying of a lightsaber) you will be targeted by any clones that may be around you or have knowledge of where you are. 3b) Very little GM intervention outside of NPC interactions. You will have free reign over what your character does, and as long as you don't go too far overboard, you're more than welcome to do what you like. 3c) Sooner or later characters are drawn together, and when they are, expect the unexpected. A Jedi meeting up with a Clone after Order 66 has been issued may find it hard to not defend themselves against a volley of blasterfire. 3d) A game of moderate length. I would like this to continue past the execution of Order 66 but not so far as to the completion of the first Death Star. 3e) No set character sheet. You may fill out any character sheet describing as much (or as little) of your character as you like, but do keep in mind I would at least like some idea of what your character's background has been like.
4a) Quality posts. A location and an IC reference of some kind to indicate your character as well as a TAG to determine who you are speaking with (if anyone at all). Your posts don't need to be seven pages in Microsoft Word, but a decent length with a bit of detail won't hurt. It also makes it an enjoyable experience for those involved. 4b) Original ideas and characters. I look forward to seeing what those of you out there have when it comes to character creation. 4c) Any character you want to participate in this game should be sent to me prior to posting in the thread. This is just a precaution so I don't end up letting in the next Lord of the Sith or Chewbacca's cousin. 4d) I will only be accepting a maximum of 15 players into the game. You will have one character and one character only. Should your character die for any reason, you may have one backup character. However if this game gets popular enough, I may be allowing more characters into the game and may have to ask for a Co-GM if needed. 4e) Have fun. You would not participate in a game if you weren't set on having fun correct?

In the Temple he excelled in the Physical aspects of training especially lightsaber play and the Martial Arts sparring matches between trainees. Though his knowledge of the practical application of the Force was somewhat lacking outside of its combat applications Dacen was a well rounded trainee. At age twelve he was picked by a Jedi Knight Ralek Narren. Ralek trained Dacen well and soon he was on a fast track to his knighthood till he could not escape the temptation of love. On one of his rare free nights Dacen took to wandering Coruscant aimlessly. It was on this night that Dacen met the first and last person he would ever truly love Kalei Groman. He met her at a fitting place for one as beautiful as her a park, one of the last natural places on the urban world of Coruscant. The two hit it off immediately and became good friends. Then after a couple months of this Dacen made the worst choice a Jedi can make he broke the code and began a secret relationship with her. Every night Dacen would sneak out to meet her. This continued for many months until he was finally caught by Ralek. Ralek reminded him of the Jedi code and he was given a choice the Jedi or her and he chose her. After leaving the Order Dacen stayed with Kalei's family for a time until Kalei decided to break it off to "explore other options." Dacen devastated instantly joined the Military where because of his Jedi training he was picked up for Black Ops. His training was intense and prepared him well for his mission which was to work alone anywhere in the Galaxy and eliminate threats to the Republic's safety. After 10 years and hundreds of missions he would rather not talk about Dacen retired from the Military and began a career as a mercenary where he worked only a couple jobs a year and basically spent most of his time thinking about how his life could have been better if he had done things differently. Now with the outbreak of the Clone Wars Dacen has been called upon again by the Republic to help them in the fight against the CIS. ---Military History: Jedi Training till age 15 ---Traumatic Experiences: Jedi Training, then Black Ops Training and the decision of the love of his life to leave him.

Even as Hylas had been without the Jedi's company for less than a few moments, the head of the Bureau strode slowly, or waddled rather, down the hallway not bothering to knock as he was infamous for doing. The squat alien puffed at a thick cigarra and wheezed a little upon narrowing his gaze upon the Chief Officer. This man, Tresh Rend, had been on assignments all throughout the galaxy over the course of the war, and now after finally arriving back on Coruscant, he had time to take leave... ... and leave a more important mission within Hylas's capable hands. “Hylas my boy, why don't we have a little chat about you and the Jedi... they seem to be as arrogant as ever hmm?” The Kitonak head intelligence officer huffed slowly, chuckling to himself as his belly rumbled with every throaty chortle. He knew of several members of the SBI who were having troubles with the Jedi interfering in their business and those few were ready to bear their fangs and lash out at the precious “Generals of the Republic”.
Inside the High Council Chamber, only three Jedi Masters sat, two others replaced by holograms. It would have seemed that the rest of the Masters were busy with conflicts against the Separatist armies in other parts of the galaxy. They could sense Kalos outside of the Chamber, and the few present Jedi exchanged glances a moment as they allowed the young padawan to wait a moment or so longer. “The boy isn't ready for such a task.” Ki-Adi-Mundi spoke, his voice distorted by the glitchy hologram he projected from a far off world. He rubbed the area between his eyes as if frustrated to have heard some audacious suggestion. “I beg to disagree. Although he is without a Master, therein lies his potential to greatly serve the Republic and the Jedi Order. Kalos Nexan will become a Jedi Knight.” Plo Koon explained, sighing softly as he looked to the others with a hopeful glance. “We cannot allow him to know of this decision, for even now, he doubts himself and holds a great amount of grief for the loss of Talol'rin. His heart may be clouded, but we will need one to guide him. We will plant a Master alongside him to watch his progress. If Kalos even suspects he is taking the trials, one does not know what will happen.” Agen Kolar's hologram spoke. The rest of the Council nodded with their decision having been made, looking to the cloaked figure in the corner, the large snout of the being the only visible part of its large, looming form. With a wave of his hand, Plo Koon opened the Council Chamber doors and welcomed the young Padawan into the chamber among the holograms of Agen Kolar and Ki-Adi-Mundi, with the physical forms of himself, Saesee Tiin and Kit Fisto. They all remained silent a moment before answering the immediate question surely placed at the front of Kalos's mind: “Kalos Nexan, we the members of the Jedi Council have decided that you are to be placed under the care of a more experienced Master. One who will do well to train you and guide you through these troubling times...” Fisto spoke, his inky-black eyes showing no hint of what the Council's purpose was. All the members remained stoic and silent, each observing the Padawan in their own way as the cloaked figure moved further into darkness. “You have questions, I assume?”
A chuckle echoed along the street where Dacen's condominium was located, despite the roaring traffic of speeders and other sources of noise such as factories and the like. It wasn't long before five figures could be seen through hazy ripples that faded with an electric sparking, four of which bore jet-black Katarn armor. The other bore a more unique form of armor, one that hadn't been seen around Coruscant very often... unless someone was hunted. “Well if it isn't the ge'verd Jedi Dacen Mano. You know, if my boys and myself weren't just looking for you, you could have been aiwha bait as soon as you stepped out the door.” The strangely armored one said, slipping his helmet off of his head, revealing his dark, rustic skin and dark hair tied back in dreadlocks. He was a good decade or more younger than Mano, but only few knew of the Cuy'val Dar or as some knew them, the ones who were chosen by Jango Fett himself to train the clones. Harros Polander was one such man. Gifted in stealth, and that is what his clones knew and thrived by: stealth and assassination. Each of the four troopers moved forward, giving a dull stare through dark helmets towards the former Jedi, and their heads moved as if having some form of silent conversation among themselves. Harros moved forward and clasped his armored gauntlet on Dacen's shoulder. “Come on ba'buir , we mustn't keep the Jedi waiting...” Said the Mando with a cunning smirk.
