Mouth of Gunny posted:IC: Grush Terk Space It had been quite a while since the fleet had lost contact with Grand Master Chi-ba, and Grush was starting to get a bit anxious. He knew that several Jedi and affiliated people had entered the derelict ship, but no word had come back from any of them as of yet, and the Force somehow was swallowed up by the ship. It was odd; only a few things in the known universe could do such a thing, and Grush was suspicious that something was fishy about the entire thing. However, without the Force, nothing could be concluded, so all there was to do was sit and wait for something to happen. Making his way onto the bridge of the ship, Grush peered out the front viewscreens at the ship in front of them. It looked very old, and was definitely not going to win a ship beauty contest anytime soon. The hull was rusty, and pieces were missing here and there on the rest of the outer casing. How something like it survived in space was a real mystery; if it had been falling apart for a while, then why hadn’t it disintegrated completely? Or, maybe there was some way that it was able to keep itself together. The ship itself was abnormal, so possibly it was able to stand the test of time and still be mostly intact. “Any status report yet?” Grush asked the pilot of the vessel, who shook his head. “Nothing yet, sir,” he said. “We haven’t been able to get communications in there since after the hatch closed on the Grand Master. There hasn’t been anyone emerging from the vessel, so they’re all still in there. Hopefully they’ll all survive.” “I hope so too,” Grush said, staring out the viewport again. He hoped that the Grand Master and the rescue crew would make it out all right, and could possibly debunk the suspicions he had of the mysterious ship. Tag: all
