	IC: Kyp Kalrin LOC Chu’unthor "Grand Master I agree with you, but I still think that my padawan should escort you back to the shuttles while myself and Master Koda go find Grosh and Fell. Kyp you better go with your master and make sure that once you two get back that our shuttles are still secured. I dont want to get stuck between a rock and a hard place in the event that we have to make a run for it." Taryn said. Kyp thought it was a good idea to get back to the ship, also because the whole ship gave him the 'creeps'. "We should--" Kyp Started but stopped when he heard his master's voice. "I don’t know what else may be on this ship. But if you run into an apparition or ghost like figure do not fear them. They mean no harm. But if you give THEM reason to,they may do something. My injury was an accident. Just remember they mean no harm. If called for they may even help you". She paused "I don’t know what else may be on this ship. Kyp grabbed a stray wire and pulled himself a little further down the hall. The feeling of weightlessness, Kyp thought it was great. Soaring through the air, it made him wish he could use the force to aid his jumping better. 	OOC: I've gotten lost on what the status is of the Chu'untor. I don't think life support is on, so I'm assuming everyone in there is in some kind of space suit? Reading the post I wasn't sure though, but it seemed the best thing to go with. But how about the gravity? 	OOC: Oops about the grav. --- IC: Grosh As Grosh dropped down the freshly cut hole, following Karn, he barely hit the next level with a thud, the impact almost sending him back up the holeo. Grosh checked his sensors, confirming that something was moving toward them. "Whatever it is, it's heading toward us now," he informed Karn. They took opposite sides of the corridor, Grosh rechecking the charge on his deece, Karn changing his stance, as best he could, and gripping his lightsaber. Grosh killed his headlight and instead resorted to using his night vision. As the area around them went dark, only the faint glow from Grosh's t-visor and the glow of Karn's lightsaber lit the vicinity. Grosh poked his head around the bracing he was using for cover. He saw some movement ahead, although it was hard to make out exactly what it was. It took a few more moments before it came into view. Then he saw it. He sent a hand gesture to Karn, putting up five fingers and then pointing straight ahead, although Grosh wasn't sure if the Jedi would know what it meant. Grosh waited a five count before pushing out from behind the pillar, instantly turning on his headlamp to the brightest setting and bringing his deece to bear on the target. "Don't move!" he boomed through the helmet. The figure in front of them froze for a moment. At the same time Grosh thought his HUD was playing tricks on him. The figure in front of them was of an older looking Nautolan, yet it was as if he were slightly transparent at the same time. He had heard of ghosts before, but had never actually seen one. He took advantage of the brief standoff to try and raise Taryn on the comm. "Taryn, this is Grosh," he stated, but was greeted by static. "Osik," he let out, "Master Fell, the comms don't work inside the ship either it seems. Any suggestions?" Grosh barely was able to let out the last part of his thought before the Nautolan threw out his hand and sent Grosh flying down the hall. He hit a wall about eight meters back. Although he was wearing his armor, the impact was still hard enough to knock the wind out of him. He floated in front of the wall, gasping for breath. While he was still trying to control his breathing, he looked around, seeing his deece floating about half a meter from where he hit. Grosh looked up, in the direction from where he had just come from. Karn was there, lightsaber ignited. 	IC - Karn Fell "Grosh!" Karn called out after he had seen his partner get thrown down the hall. Then he saw what had had the strength to throw a fully armoured Mandalorian about 8 meters down a hall. it was a taller yet older looking Nautolan. Yet something about it made it look, ghostly like the image of his father and his fight with the apparation. Then something happened Karn did not intend, the Nautolan drew a lightsaber but it was a kind Karn had never seen, the crystal looked unstable, like it was thousands of year old. The Nautolan's blade was a deep and eire red just like his fathers blade. Now they had a problem, Karn couldn't fight something and maintain the use of his Force breath at the same time, it would be to much, he almost lost control of it when he called out to Grosh, now he was ready to speak. "Grosh get back to the others tell them to get out! Now!" Karn through himself at the apparation hoping to end the fight fast with three quick stokes to the head he hoped the battle was over he was surprised to see the Nautolan pick up its severed head and place it back on its body. 	IC: Grosh Grosh watched as Karn beheaded the apparition, only to watch as it put it's head back on. "Grosh, get out of here! Get to the others and get off the ship," Karn yelled at him. Grosh reached out for his deece, floating closer so he could grab it. The seal in his suit was good against the vaccuum of space for about thirty minutes, and he figured he had about ten or fiteen minutes of oxygen left in the system. Once Grosh reached his deece, he pushed off the wall and went flying back into the fray. He grabbed hold of the pillar he was pushed from and reached out for Karn. "Don't think I'm just going to leave you here. You might be a Jedi, but you can't hold your breath forever." Grosh reached out and pulled Karn back, just as the Nautolan ghost thrust his lightsaber where Karn's midsection was only fractions of a second before. "Get up to the next deck, I'll be right behind you," he told Karn, giving him a push up toward the ceiling. Grosh felt something hit his armor and slide down. He looked and noticed the lightsaber had glanced off his back and slid down his leg. "Beskar," Grosh said proudly, looking the Nautolan in the face. 	IC - Karn Fell "Come on Grosh!" Karn called out to his partner when they were out of their hole they began making their way back towards the ships, the apparation was following them they were moving as fast as they could. "Grosh come on!" Karn reached out with the force to pull the ceiling down behind them and was shocked when the ghost walked right through it. "Run!" Karn and Grosh were backtracking there steps back to the hanger bay. "Go on Grosh ill be right behind you" Karn turned around and faced the apparation. He blocked its clutch of attacks then he cut off the monsters hands just to watch them grow back. He cut it at the elbow on its left arm and watched the arm grow back, the ghost wasn't getting any more tired so Karn decided to run some more. He had to get away, but he couldn't lead the ghost to the ship it would kill everyone there anyways he had to get it away from them so instead of going right where he should have he went left away from the other ships. 	IC: Kai Koon The Star Saber slowed as it exited hyperspace, and engaged the sub-light drives. Kai saw a shape through his veiwscreen that he assumed was the Chu'unthor. Kai, pushed the control stick, and took off towards the ship. As he neared he noticed another ship clamped to it, at one of the docking ports. Once Kai was close enough to contact the ship, he opened up a hailing frequency. "This is Master Koon. Does anyone read me?" static. "Communications must be down." Kai opened long ranged communications back to the fleet. "Fleet, communications with the Chu'unthor appear to be down. I'm going in for a closer look." Kai set the engines to full, and within minutes arrived at the Chu'unthor. Kai clamped it to the side of the ship, and popped the hatch. His breath mask, and goggles protected him from the vacuum of space. Kai used the force to pull him towards the hall of the ship, and from there he made his way to the nearest hatch. He popped it open, and entered through. There was no gravity inside, so he floated to the top, and used the piping to move through the halls to the bridge. If there was anyone on board that's where they might be. Kai arrived at the bridge, and wedged the door open. 	IC: Grosh Grosh and Karn were trying to evade the Nautolan ghost, but to no avail. Karn had tried to brin the ceiling portion of a corridor down, but the ghost kept coming. Grosh was ahead of Karn, trying to light the way with his headlamps. As they came to a fork in the hall, Grosh immediately went right, back toward the control room. "Come on, Karn, we're almost there," Grosh called back without looking. When there was no response he took a quick glance back and saw that Karn had taken the left route, and yelled 'Good Bye', leading the ghost off in the other direction. "Dini'la Jetii," insane Jedi, Grosh said under his breath. He turned back toward the way he had come, knowing that it was pointless to try and go after Karn. He need to try and alert Taryn and the others, if they were still on board. Grosh pushed ever harder off the bulkhead, trying to close the gap between himself and the other Jedi that might still be on board. As he rounded a few more corners, he about flew into Taryn. "Taryn," he said bewteen breaths, "I'm glad I found you. Karn and I were attacked by some... Nautolan ghost. Karn led it away from the control room. I was going to follow, but I don't have a large supply of reserve oxygen." He pulled out a small datapad and hooked it into his suit, downloading the information his suit had recorded about the route they had taken. He handed the Taryn the datapad. "Here, this is the way we went. I don't have any more information at the moment about the layout of the ship, but I can tell you that this," he said pointing at the screen, "is where Karn and I were separated. That will probably be the best place to start looking." Taryn and Kay Koda had been tracking their two companions for about thirty minutes through the dark zero-gee environment when Grosh Crander came literally flying around the bend straight into Taryn and Kay. Grosh was completely out of breath and he seemed to have taken some damage on the back of his armor. It appeared to be a large dark slash mark in the armor, a lightsaber slash. She could not fathom what could get a fully trained battle hardened mandolorian into such an out of breath and fatigued state so fast. "I'm glad I found you. Karn and I were attacked by some... Nautolan ghost. Karn led it away from the control room. I was going to follow, but I don't have a large supply of reserve oxygen. Here, this is the way we went. I don't have any more information at the moment about the layout of the ship, but I can tell you that this," he said pointing at the screen, "is where Karn and I were separated. That will probably be the best place to start looking." "Grosh get back to the ship and refuel your tanks as soon as you can. When you are fully charged come back in and secure an exit vector for us. We will continue searching for Karn for thirty minutes if we dont find him then we will be forced to retreat back to the fleet until we can mount a more prepared rescue mission." That being said they three parted ways, Grosh heading back the way they came and Taryn and Master Koda heading to where the data pad indicated. The could see signs of combat but nothing of the head strong jedi. "Kay I dont like this. It has been ten minutes and we still havent caught up with him, and the signs of combat are getting feint. We have thirty five minutes of air left, forty five if we use the force to slow our breathing. We must hurry for Karn's sake. He is a bit of a loose cannon but he is still a strong Jedi one that we cannot afford to lose now. Lets hurry..." They continued their hunt through the near pitch black weightless conditions, unable to see more than ten feet infront of them and unable to hear at all in the vacuum. Taryn could not shake the foreboding feeling that she had sensed through the force since the minute she stepped aboard the ship. She could not sense any of the other life forms of her friends, could not communicate with the force, but she sensed something amiss. Shaking herself Taryn put that feeling in the back of her mind and focused on the search at hand, A jedi's life depended on it. Tag: All involved -----signature----- "Everyone dies. 	IC - Karn Fell Karn led the Nautolan's ghost to a small little narrow bridge which was about three feet wide and spanned farther than he could see. He decided to make this his final stand, "Come and get me!" He yelled "I'm right here!" The ghost walked out onto the bridge and raised it's saber high in the air, Karn did the same. The ghost ran at him, he leapt over it with the force and swiped at its back. The apparation howled in pain as the muscle in its back slowly stiched back together, it then lunged at Karn who parried the attack and began to cut it in half. Then the apparation changed into his father, then into himself then back to his father, who stood up and laughed, he laughed a deep thoarty laugh. "I have waited a long time for this." his father said "No!" Karn screamed, his fathers ghost sent a steady stream of lightning his way, which impacted him in the chest which tossed him down the bridge and back down the hall he had come down. Karn smashed into the wall and watched his father's ghost come slowly toward him, as he turned his head he saw the glow of other lightsabers, and realized who they were. "Go back!" he tried to say and heard he couldn't speak, he slumped farther down, "No." he mouthed "Go back ... go bac..." Karn mouthed as he passed out. 	IC: Taryn Jeando So much has happened in the past day it has been very hard. We lost contact with our Grand Master as she went into an alien ship in hope of finding a new home for the tired and wondering jedi. As a rescue mission was being discussed another Jedi was lost into the alien ship. This time it was to much, we went in immediately after him in hopes of rescuing him and finding our Grand Master. After searching through a dark weightless lifeless ship without any force energy at all we found a beacon of light. Our Grand Master was safe along with Jedi Karn Fell, but our troubles were not over. Grosh and Karn went out in hopes of restoring power to the ship but were confronted by a force apparition that attacked them and chased them into the dark mazes of the ship. After a run in with Grosh and a strenuous search for Karn I along with Jedi Koda found him unconscious but unharmed on a bridge in the ship. He had a dark force aura around him with thoughts of his father and the smell of ionized air from a lightsaber. We brought him back aboard the Grand Master's ship and we departed from the Chu'unthor immediately. That was two days ago since then we have been analyzing every scrap of data from the debunked scouting/rescue mission. We have a small floor plan from our accounts and estimates from our droid analyzers. We are in the process of forming another better equipped scout team. But I still wonder is it enough? Is it even worth it? I have yet to approach the Grand Master about my vision for I fear that it will darken our hopes of ever finding a suitable home for the jedi. But I also fear for the great darkness, the un-escapable danger that I sense deep within this ship. I must make a decision and I must speak with the Grand Master --Captains Log 2-- Standing up from her small desk inside her private quarters Taryn walked out into the main room of her ship to find her apprentice studying Jedi archives... 'he is working very diligently to become a jedi perhaps I could send him over to recieve some training with a saber' ... Grosh who had finished cleaning his already immaculate armor was going over all the files from the Chu'unthor and replaying every scrap of video from his helmet. "Grosh I am going to find the Grand Master could you please make sure that everything is ok on the ship while I am gone". The Icy Truth had been docked with the fleets main transport and Taryn had been hopping from ship to ship for hours before she finally found the Grand Master teaching a small group of you jedi about the importance of only using the force when it was needed. To never use it for tasks that could be performed by manual labor. It was a confusing lesson at first for the younglings but once it is learned it is one of the most valuable to a jedi. The lesson was taught in groups to the younglings by having them complete the task of preparing a sleeping area that would be safe and comfortable in situations where a jedi might find his/herself alone in the wild. The younglings all completed the task although some of them used the force in subtle ways such as lightening loads and perfecting their work. It was an early lesson one that would take time for the young ones to learn... Time that she hoped they could provide. After the class was over and the younglings has dispersed Taryn approached the Grand Master. "Grand Master Chi-ba" Taryn said with a short bow "I was listening to your lesson a very valuable one, one that I found very had to understand" she laughed a little bit but then took on a decidingly darker tone "Grand Master I had a vision that I must talk to you about. In it I sensed a very dark and unescapable danger aboard the Chu'unthor. I fear that it may be to dangerous aboard that ship for us to inhabit it. I was very reluctant to tell you Grand Master for I fear that the desperation of our situation as a people may not allow for a longer search. We are all weary of running and searching. We all wish to just settle down for a change, but I fear that if we decide to use this ship it may be a fatal mistake. Hope to see you back soon IC: Malloren Jedi Fleet Main Starship Malloren stood at the front of group of Younglings, observing their work. She took the opportunity to stretch the newly repaired muscle and bone in her neck and head. Two days earlier, her headache had not dissipated. As she re-boarded her ship, her long time friend Brutus Crantilla was there to greet her. He convinced her to go straight to the Medical Ward on the main starship, and didn’t let her out of his sight till she was better. He knew she might try to leave before she was properly healed. He had at least relented to her one request...that the Council be brought to her so she could discuss her findings. She warned them of the danger the other Jedi on the ship had felt. She confessed that at first, she had felt it too. But after she related her story about her conversation with the Jedi ghost, she explained that the danger rippling through the Force was the fear and sadness of the numerous ghosts on the ship form the disaster decades earlier. Having been stuck there for years, it had manifested itself negatively. “I have a theory”, she had said to the Council members Brutus, Kai Koon and Kay Koda, “These people are now Force ghosts, but with no natural organisms nearby to be able to be able to embrace the Living Force when they passed, they have been disturbed and traumatised by their living memories and their spirits are stuck in that metal manufactured environment. In doing so, I think that they consume the Force Power surrounding them, and that’s why the Chu’unthor seems to be a Force void, with no communications possible from within to the outside and vice versa. They said they wanted to be buried. That must mean there are bodies on there somewhere. These spirits are restless, angry and scared. If we don’t help them, the Chu’unthor wont be safe. The Chu’unthor has sheltered Jedi in times of strife before. I have strong hope it will do so again.” They had all began discussing it among themselves after this speech, and had decided that the Council would go back in to speak to the ghosts themselves at the first opportunity to find out for themselves. Malloren was happy with this answer and consented to the plan. That was going to happen tomorrow after all precautions had been taken care of. In the meantime, Malloren was training younglings...one of her favourite things to do in the Jedi Order. She felt someone approaching and turned to meet them- it was master Taryn Jeando. "Grand Master I had a vision that I must talk to you about. In it I sensed a very dark and unescapable danger aboard the Chu'unthor. I fear that it may be to dangerous aboard that ship for us to inhabit it.
