Random Battle

Ever want to just jump into a plottless fight or skip through the plot of a movie, game, or show and just get to the butt-whooping? Well now you can! Here, we'll vote on a battle in something you've heard, seen, read, thought up, or got to by any other means and just bash each other until dawn or one faction is clearly declared winner or loser. Then, once a battle setting is decided, you pick a character and once we have a fair amount of players, we'll start.
Here are a few ideas I've had for big battles to do:
2nd Death Star (Return of the Jedi)
Battle of Geonosis (Attack of the Clones)
Seige of Burad Dur (The Simarillion or Last Alliance Segmant of the LOTR movie)
The Battle of Solomon (Mobile Suite Gundam)
Please submit any other ideas you have by posting them here and then we'll take a vote. Please come and join, this should be most interesting if done correctly.

True, it is mainly star wars but we can spice it up so long as we do Star Wars battles now and again.
Here's what we got so far (The ones with no votes won't be counted untill we get votes for them):
siege of Gondor (LOTR) ++1 vote++
Battle for Arrakis (Dune)++1 vote++
The battle of five armies (Hobbit) ++1 vote++
As GM, I'll abstain from voting the first time around. Once we pick a battle, we'll tally up a realistic number for the forces and name factions, characters and such.

In Morannon, I claim Gandalf. 
If we do Seige of Barad-Dur I claim Sauron
If we Do battle of Solomon, I'll Take Vice Admiral Dozul Zabi, along with his wife and Child Mineaba.
If we Do Five Armies, I'll proabbly just make up a character.

It might be for the best if there was a limit per round as to how many battles we could reccomend or put up for suggestion, because odds are everyone will want a different battle, so I think a good way of doing it would be to keep what we currently have, and than all New Ideas be PM'd to you for the next round, at which you can pick the best ones in the PM's and those will be the ones to vote on next time.
Otherwise, we may wind up haveing 100 Differnet battles each with only 1 or 2 votes
