I don't care much for the Spectres anyway. When I played through the game, my character Asmodene Shepard (  ), wasn't that thrilled about the Spectres to begin with. And as far as humans go, people play humans in almost every game where they are available because its the closest thing to "normal" they can get. It's hard to play an angsty-character (that most everyone loves... I'll punch you all in the face) if you're playing an Elcor or a Hanar.
I think that's where gaming fails: when people don't experiment with possibilities. Go outside your comfort zone with character types, game types. Learn to adapt and evolve.

No Spectres and, people's interest willing, no Super-troopers, either. I have a premise. I hope, when the time comes to unveil it, everyone approves.
Ooh, boy. I do so hope that someone tries to put a Hanar or a Elcor into the game. That would be an interesting experience.

Would you describe that one Elcor in his species and the Volus’s embassy, Xeltar or something, as angsty? Doesn't he spend his small-screen appearance whining about the Consort?

An Elcor Sentinel wouldn't be a bad thing to play. While a Krogan would be fun, I feel the prospect of the Elcor more enticing.
