In an attempt to inject your characters with grim n' gritty edginess that shows their broken souls who need the loving touch of a (wo)man to make them whole again (nine out of ten quack psychologists recommend communal bedrest as the cure for what ails you), you have managed to mine pure unprocessed failure. I cannot be bothered to care about your disposable props, do not show them to me until you can manage to do it without being completely ham-fisted about it. 10 yard penalty, do not touch the "kill beloved" button until you have proven that you can write likable supporting characters and go through a story without ever hitting the damn button.

I'd say "then do it with the like-minded", but that gives us the comedy goldmine that is the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.

Point is, these people tend to really, really suck, and they don't improve at all. It creates an endless cycle of ego-stroking and wish-fulfillment, which may be fun for the guy playing it, but since roleplaying is a group activity, it's really terrible for everyone else involved. If you cannot understand why this is a bad thing, then go off and have your characters cry a few single tears over their burning homes and swear vengeance on those responsible. It's not as though my negative opinion is going to stop you.
