Ironic, 98 was the same year that Saving Private Ryan didn't win best picture because of Titanic, not to say it wasn't a great film, but Titanic wasn't as good as Saving Private Ryan. That year was really *UBAR (get it?). Anyway, we're getting off topic, let's wait for the results.

I thought Shakespeare in Love beat out SPR. I thought Titanic was the year before.

No, Shakespeare in love would not have beaten out Saving Private Ryan, not at all. It's the topic this week in my films studies class, and a lot of the students (including the girls) agreed that Saving Private Ryan was the Superior movie.

Why are people nervous? It's an awards program on a small internet forum. This isn't stuff you're going to put on a college transcript or a resumé, folks.

I'm not saying SPR wasn't the superior movie (it is one of my favorite films). I'm just looking at the facts. Shakespeare in Love won Best Picture over Saving Private Ryan. Titanic was the year before.

I got some nominations here that made me blush.

Character design? Most entertaining GM? I'm incredibly embarassed by character design. I imagine myself as slightly worse than blubeast was a few months ago, even now!

Sorry Blu. wink

Nice to see that 128 ABY has snuck in once more, wonder how many more awards it can win. It's the high quality players, I say. The GM's suck. tongue
