A little Modly update for those who might be interested...
The Fanfic mods and myself have started discussing the idea of a joint contest between our two forums in earnest. They like the idea, and we're in the process of hammering out specific details (who will judge, how folks will be entered, where will it take place, etc. etc.)
So the wheels are in motion there, however slowly they do move.
A rules discussion is still forthcoming, once I get on top of some schoolwork here in RL. Probably sometime this week. There will be a few oldies but goodies that we'll talk about. A few from way back in the day that could use for updating.
And there might be a few other things that I will keep behind the curtain for now...
As always, PM me if you have any thoughts!

*** Attention Folkies! ***
Its been three months since my promotion to moderator, and as the perceptive amongst you might have seen, I've now been promoted to manager status.
This means I've gotten myself a mess a' new powers to play with.
These now include:
* The ability to edit the Role Playing Category (like its name and the descriptions and stuff)
* The ability to edit a bunch of things in each of the boards (like placements and header links and stuff)
* The ability to destroy any and all of the Role Playing Boards (  )
* The ability to change and upload banners
* The ability to promote users and grant colors
* The ability to completely erase a user's existence ( )
* The ability to assign and change titles
* The ability to prune old threads from a board
* The ability to create and manage private boards
* The ability to create stickies
* The ability to add and create scrolling banners
* The ability to use HTML code
* The ability to turn off and on polls
And there might be some more here that I haven't discovered yet.
Now, using about 1/2 of these without admin permission will probably get me fired, but at least I now *can* do some new stuff.
For this month, I am only mod here that has these powers. Saintheart is next in line, and will also have them in exactly one month.
