Aceste Kotobukiya nu sunt action figures sau jucarii, ci sunt statuete de PVC de cca 30 cm inaltime (12"). Diversele parti ale corpului statuetei se ataseaza ca intr-un model kit si nu se pot misca, neavand incheieturi movabile.
Sunt foarte solide si pana acum dintre cele pe care le am in colectie, acest stormie este cel mai fragil in ceea ce priveste modul de atasare al bratelor. De asemenea tot acest stormtrooper a venit cu doua capete (ca balaurul din povestea noastra cenzurata, care ar fi urmat sa o atace pe Mara cand cobora din palatul din Monaco
): unul cu o casca de stormtrooper si unul cu capul lui Luke Skywalker. Totodata are si doua centuri, cea pt. Luke e cu carlig si franghie (ANH), iar cea de stormie e cum o stim cu totii.
Am preferat sa las Stormtrooperul in loc de Luke, pana acum Kotobukiya avand mici probleme in crearea fetelor umane. Acest Luke nici nu arata chiar asa de rau, poate ca totusi cei de la Kotobukiya i-au dat Luke-ului o fata de copil. Dar fiind fan al imperiului era clar ca Luke nu-si are rostul la display, asa ca am 2 alternative cu "mecla" ramasa in plus: pun capul piticului intr-un bubble-bag in sertar sau il asez la picioarele stormtrooperului ca si cum ar fi decapitat
Pentru ca vorbeam de haine date jos uitati-va la aceasta Leia care va aparea anul acesta tot la Kotobukiya :

Asta da Leia, si seamana destul de bine. De fapt, arata chiar mai bine decat in realitate...
Cat despre minunata voastra poveste, nu a fost "cenzurata" fiindca era despre mine, ci pentru ca se afla intr-un topic cu totul nepotrivit. Eu consider ca ceea ce am facut a fost corect.

Chiar daca inca sunt bolnav, o veste buna am primit totusi de la oficiul postal de vama: mi-a venit coletul cu figurinele Action Fleet Starship Troopers, cele care-mi lipseau pentru a avea colectia completa. Au venit sigilate in cutii (MIB) dar le-am desfacut pt. poze:

A sosit setul Kotobukiya R2-D2 & C-3PO. Este minunat!! Inafara de faptul ca se asambleaza in mai putin de un minut (in comparatie cu alte statuete Koto care necesitau mai mult timp si indemanare) detaliile acestor iconic figures sunt deosebite. Si capetele ambilor droizi se pot roti. Pe an ce trece Kotobukiya evolueaza impreuna cu produsele sale de inalta clasa.

Patru art books de o calitate exceptionala, un must have pt. orice fan Shirow si nu numai. Pagini intregi in varianta bilingva (engleza si japoneza) cu desenele sale clasice, dar si CG, desene care l-au adus pe Shirow printre marii creatori anime moderni.
Cartile se pot adresa la fel de bine si necunoscatorilor sau celor care nu sunt fani anime, dar care iubesc arta, detaliile prezente pe fiecare pagina fac sufletul sa se minuneze la fiecare rasfoire.
Se poate vedea clar evolutia artistica a lui Masamune Shirow de-a lungul celor 4 volume, incepand cu acuarele si creioane in Intron Depot 1 si 2 si terminand cu desene create pe calculator in ultimele doua carti.
Interesant e ca un bun prieten mi-a comandat si el Intron Depot 1 asa ca in curand o sa am doua volume identice. Potate va fi cineva interesat.
