For those who get down to the capital early, there is coffee, water, juice, etc. Seems to me there was donuts and fruit.
All of this is donated by businesses and organizations as a way for them to support the March of Dimes.

Yes, I plan to wear the Leia costume. If you have a costume you should wear it because there are lots of kids and they really love it!

Yeah the whole 7:30 in the morning or rather get up at 6ish to get to the 7:30 part makes the idea of pushing Toddler Yoda down the street less appealing.

Yeah, 7:30 doesn't look like it will be a good time for me either. I've been pretty burned out from the week at work and do not think I'll be able to make it out of bed in time for the walk. However, I do have pledges and therefore donations from several people. If I remember correctly, I believe you had said, Aunt Beru, that we don't have to walk but can turn in the pledges. For any check/cash pledges can we mail that to March of Dimes if we don't walk?

Sorry for not participating today. I have been having real problems with my fibromyalgia the last few days. Am on major painkillers and my legs still hurt.   Am barely walking around the house so could not have done the walk today. Had hoped I would be in better shape this morning. The pain comes and goes with no warning so thought I could be okay.
Aunt Beru, could you also send me the address as We have pledges from work and our own that I would like to get to the right people.

Be sure to include a note indicating that you collected for the March for Babies on behalf of Team Sacramento Valley Rogue Force, but were unable to walk.
A big thanks to everyone who participated, not only by walking, but those of you who gathered pledges, as well.
Zam13, DarthDikum, and Leia1138 were big hits in their costumes and had their picture taken with kids and adults many many times.
