I was watching the The Force Unleashed special on Spike. They announced that the apprentice lives on the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk (like in Republic #82). I'm putting my vote as a possible Korto Vos. If it isn't Quinlan & Kahleen's son, the only other fallen jedi would be Ferus Olin (but, I'm not sure if he has a son or not). This would explain the secrecy behind Quinlan after RotS. Now we have to wait till Sept. to find out for sure. But, let's see what every one thinks.

I don't think most of the group follows the comics and/or games, but hey... I could be wrong. For me, I'm not really giving much attention to TFU. If it's a good game... great. Fabulous. But Lucas doesn't have the best rep with gamers AND the premise of the game makes no sense. How in the world could Vader's "Secret Apprentice" be "the most powerful force user ever" and be a SECRET APPRENTICE... hellooooo... "Disturbance in the Force". I think Sidious would know. And if that's the "secret surprise twist" that's a load of Gundark poodoo.

How can Luke be the last of the jedi when there have been numerious others? things change, shat happens and we accept it as the G man says so.
I don't think it will be Korto either seeing as all of them were on Nar Shadda in the end of that republic series. Ferus in the books actually went on to become the emperors apprentice or student for the "there can only be 2 at a time" people. I hope the story is very good and the game plays most excellently, I for one will enjoy it greatly.

See, I can live with that. It's the whole force yanking star destroyers out of the sky that starts to make me not care. Is it cool? Yeah, in a juvenile 12 year old sort of way... and for a boy like this to be existing in the galaxy and NOT have been turned by Sidious. To have NOT been discovered, is just getting to revisionist for me. I mean, hey, since that's cool... let's all just find out that the entire sage is actually WRONG. Han Solo and Leia are twins, not Luke. Surprise, GL told us so it must be ok! Woo! (NOT)

Or you could see this as a video game and know that they are only amping up the powers to appease the 12 yr. olds who want 1337 powers. Sometimes people just need to step back and remember it is only a space opera based on Sci-Fi not the book of revelations.

Hardly the same thing. But hey, at least we're generating some new activity on the boards.

Korto was born in Nar Shadda but, at the end of the comic, they're back in Kashyyyk. Kahleen's viewing the holo w/ Tholme & Tra Saa(sp?)while Chak is painting a mural in a tree wall when Quinlan walks in w/ Villie. But, there are a lot of gaps 'n voids within the saga timeline. 1 never knows (unless ur in on it of course). Even Hett survived all the way to Legacy living w/ Vong, 'n Kharuk also made it that far. Either way, I'm excited for the game play 'n story. Out of all the detail 'n extras in the game, why doesn't a lightsaber dismember any-1.

OMG, there are live rogues out there. I knew there were a few. Have talked to a couple by PM but where has everyone been? I don't read the books and comics but guess I will have to just to keep up with what you are talking about. but will have to stop at the video games. My last games I played were on an Atari 5200. I was great at Centipede and Destroyer. I can't keep up with all of the different commands and buttons that go with everything nowadays. Oh well, that is why we have you guys. It is one of those things that truly makes me feel old.

We had friends that had a commodore 64 and I did do pretty well on Pitfall Harry and Donkey Kong. But then again, all of the different buttons and commands were starting so they lost me pretty much after that. I was never any good at tetris

Some of Bianca's fondest memories are of me playing Tetris and listening to Erasure when she was a wee babe (circa 1995). Hmmm, wow...come to think of it, even then I neglected my kids due to video games. Not good.
