We've been asked to escort Daniel Logan also known as: Boba Fett in SWEPII. Charlie of Charlie's Collectibles has acquired his services for a meet & greet @ the Travis AFB Concord Pavillion. We will talk more about it @ the meeting. This is a great opportunity to get your collectibles signed for cheap or better. Last time I helped Charlie w/ his events he had Peter Mayhew & Bobby Clark there, I got autographs for free. I mean even Peter hooked me up w/ photo ops & signed all my chewie figs & the coin book.

Yeah, I would think it would definitely be preferable in costume, since we're essentially doing a "501st style" or "Rebel Legion style" event in the sense that the SVRF is supposed to provide a professionally costumed presence, right? These sorts of "Celebrity Escort" jobs are a cheaper (and much more fan friendly way) for people in the industry to provide a "taste of the movies"... at least, that's my sense of it. I'm sure "gophers" or support staff would be welcomed, but the costumes are probably more of a priority (I think).
I'm not in a position to provide a professional costume, so I probably won't push to get the time off for this event.

I think it is going to take all of us, costumed or not. It will be nice to have the costumes up front with him but I am sure he will appreciate the polos when trying to get to a bathroom, a bite to eat, etc. They do not draw as much attention as a group of costumed people. I believe that Leia1138 is going to check on RL people that would like to attend with us. So we need one and all that are willing to take time off and attend. Earl and I will be taking Friday off to attend. Anyone else?
