Hi there. I looked for a bus route to Travis through SacRt, and found none. Then I looked up Travis on Mapquest. I didn't know it was so far out of the way! If anyone can help me get there, I too would have no problem pitching in for gas. I can go either day; I'll keep them both open. I also have my polo shirt and a Princess Leia costume complete with belt, wig, and "white boots," actually foam covers to go over my shoes, but one of them is getting worn on the edges and may or may not even be noticeable. I would love to join in if I can. Please let me know.

Just heard about this event via Ron (Boba Fett) ...
I am available Saturday through 6PM. I have Jedi garb available on the RL side, but also have Sith contact lenses. I also have Imperial Officer & TIE Pilot, though I'm hesitant to commit to armor knowing how hot Fairfield can get.

That would be great! You're the sandtrooper & Tie pilot Ron mentioned in his PM right? Which ever look you wanna fly with is OK w/me. If you're gonna drive in on your own, you'll need to have your SDL/Registration/Insurance papers to enter the base. Thanks!!

Sorry but I was wondering if we have the "exact location" for the event and meet time/location yet? Also, will we have secure changing area/break area, or should we plan to dress at our vehicles and then go in. Is event air conditioned? Also, I can be reached at 707-365-5250. Annie and I can be there from about 1130am until?

They don't have a secure changing area. There is a restroom for both sexes or our autos to change in. Sorry 
On a plus note: the location does have A/C.
Thee exact location is: the Concourse(sp?)Pavilion.
After going through the gate, head to the big building to the right. The hotel is straight ahead of the gate. You'll see a few shops on the outside of the Pavilions. Our station will be in-front of the duty-free store.

Due to memory error here is a more proper directions thanks to JD:
Can I be a pain here? In your directions on the site, if you are talking about the BX at Travis, Vos, those aren't very good directions. Once you stop at the visitor's center (you'll come to that first on the left as you are entering the gate area) you'll proceed through the gate. At the second light (Travis FCU will be on your right) take a right and the BX is on the right hand side. It's really a big strip mall. The hotel on the base is nowhere close to the BX, so I'm not sure who told you that. Just thought you should know so people don't get lost.

Hopefully the Firday crew can give us a little more information. Is this at the BX or the Concourse(strip mall) area of the BX where the restaurants etc are? There is a large parking lot, and considering how long/involved it is dressing the Fett, I'll report in civies to this area, locate everyone, then change if that is ok. Thanks
