Sending in my refund for the con, as my friends got pro passes* and I got a comp ticket. I'm so excited about this con, and I can't wait for July to get here. If anyone's heard about the G4TV/Darkhorse sponsored talent search for a "field correspondent" for the show, wish us luck! We'll be filming a very special video to send in for the judge's consideration from a certain icon of action justice!

-TJ

* - Did I mention that Searnold, who's the cohost on the show and has completely self published his first full color comic issue, has even gotten a phone call from the Manhattan area by a gentlemen who will neither confirm nor deny his affiliation with Marvel? Exciting stuff!

So there's a little contest G4 and Darkhorse have put together, looking for a "special corespondent" for San Diego Comic Con. And, well, since I was going down there anyways, my friends Jeremy and Seth thought we should cut some SCCGTV footage and send it out to them.

And thus, I present the following for your consideration.

We have no intentions of attending this con. There is a con here in Seattle that we will be attending around then that is Strictly Anime related which as most of you know if not all that is my bigger love. Hope you all have fun.

Anime shmanime! tongue But enjoy it all the same.

You'll want to avoid one of the upcoming Sac Cons then, which is unofficially "now with 100% less anime!" in an experimental new "Classic Comics" format. For the rest of us, that means no more teenagers running around screaming butchered Japanese catch phrases and dressing about ten years older then they actually are.

Keep checking Official Pix website. They're adding more names and finalizing times and days recently, maybe even until Preview Night, when I suggest buying autograph coupons if they're on sale that night, to avoid lines.

If you're in RL, check the main thread for it, as there are lots of costumed opportunities aplenty!

So excited about Comic Con... lots of great panels to go to...

Psyched about a couple in particular hosted by the Comics Arts Conference - will be taking notes for the new Graphic Novel Lit Class coming to ARC this spring. Am trying to pick up a cellphone beforehand so I'll be able to keep in touch with everyone... maybe one night we can do dinner or something!
