NEW NAME for our boards....

Our new name will be:
Imperial Center [Coruscant]
We will install officers under the leadership of our 1st Chapter Rep: RipRoar and a Moff Council. The officers will be appointed by the Chapter rep. which in turn will appoint the Moff Council. The duties of all will be spelled out at the next meeting.

Yes the officer's will be inducted on SatUrday as well as the Council of Moff's. We already have our Chapter Rep. elected - RipRoar.
According to Fan Force rules as we understand them, you have to be 18 years old to be a club officer but our very own council will be made up of active members of all ages and walks of life to represent ALL aspects of the local club and possibly represent different sections of the boards.
OFFICER's
CR (Chapter Rep) - RipRoar (Randy) - will be liason to FanForce overall and break any ties when voting.
CT (Club Treasurer) - Star0258 (Karen) - will handle all money transactions (IF ANY) from charity etc. - NOTE THERE IS NO DUES - this is a free club.
GM (Grand Moff) - SlaveOne28146 (Jerry) - will act as second in command - VP (Club secretary and backup CR duties)
CH (Club Historian) - IamaSith (Brad) - will keep records of events, active membership, etc. for voting, fun and knowledge of group.
COUNCIL OF MOFF's
Nominations have been discussed with those being considered and will be selected on Saturday (If you can not make it let RipRoar know you are interested in serving on this board). All future CR's will have to be nominated from the Council of Moff's and or by at least 2/3 of Officer's to be considered and be active members both online and at events. Rules will be posted to the boards asap. The council is also perceived as a group of members who will possibly focus on a particular interest area of the boards or club and help organize or keep postings going. (Josh, Mark, Jace, Matt, Paul are you still interested?)
AND YES - our name is cool: Imperial Center [Coruscant] I will look into banner setup etc.. and hopefully be able to use Coruscant/Imperial images for Salisbury's Official Fan Force location and place for this regions area fans. RipRoar will be doing some graphics to get things going with flyers, business cards, etc.. so when you come across someone at an event you can hand one out to get them HERE on this public board!
NOTE: This is a social club for like minded fans of Star Wars but in noway do you have to be a die-hard fan to enjoy our group (Star Wars is simply a common bond to meet one another). Yes we will partner with RipRoar's costuming group and maybe others (even non-star wars related) for charity etc. but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A COSTUME TO PARTICIPATE.
