I'm so sorry for getting this to everyone so late. I didn't recieve notice until today that team packets were not going to be sent out so I had to do everything online.

If you would like to register go to this site Walking

for the team name put in Salt Lake Fanforce Chapter and for the team leader put in Mary Hendrickson.

If you register before Sunday the 10, which also happens to be the last day for online registration then Sutter Homes winery will donate $5 in your name to City of Hope.

Date:

Saturday, October 16, 2004

Time:

9 a.m. Registration
10 a.m. 5k Timed Run
10:05 a.m. 5k Timed Walk
10:10 a.m. 5k Leisure Walk

Location:

Sugarhouse Park
1300 E. 2100 S.
Salt Lake City, UT 84105

Registration:

$25 for adults (13 years and over) through October 10 or $30 after October 10.
$15 for children (12 years and under) through October 10 or $20 after October 10.

We will also be walking this event in Star Wars costumes. I would also like those who know of anyone who has Breast Cancer to please remember to put their name on the Dedication wall.

And remember everyone, this is not just a female disease men can get it as well.

If you are planning on attending this event, please post it here so I can know who to expect and we can make plans from there.

You don't have to register on line you can do it on the day of the event.

Also if you can not attend the event but you wish to donate money for our group, please let me know and I'll get in contact with you.

If you want to walk then yes. I'm sure you can still walk, just don't get hurt.

You can also collect donations from people as well for this event.

Also, if you plan on doing this even in costume, please let me know which costume you plan on wearing.

I'll do the Death Star Leia look, it's easier to walk in.

as last year, I will be there.
I remember last year making the goal to do the actual RUN part of the race...but in costume that is so not going to happen.
As far as a costume, I'm not sure right now which I'm using...Leia would be more comfy...but two Leia's is a bit over whelming and I won't have my Jedi done in time. Mara will be, but I'm not walking in tight black vinyl.

I would say do the Leia more people know Leia but if you want to do another costume, that's fine.

You don't have to participate in costume, but I think it would be fun. They've been asking me every year we've done this if we would do it in costume so I thought I would indulge them this year.
