The current plan is to have it at my place, however there's a snag. I use a projector and a wall to watch movies. It looks pretty good, but fanfilms have the annoying quality of being tiny little Quicktimes or something that would look ridiculous blown up to the size of my screen, so the whole idea may not work at all. If it were DVD or even VHS quality, it would look amazing. But little movies don't look so hot.
If anyone has suggestions, I'm open, but for now the venue may be up in the air. It may be better to do this somewhere else if anyone has a nice basement and a big-screen TV.

Yes. And trust me, I'm only speaking as an audience member. I couldn't shoot a film half as good as any of the films seen here. But as a member of their future ticket-buying audience, I'm the one that they have to impress.

If there's anything midweek, I could bring along a couple of my own DVDs of fanfilms which I've collected. I made up one DVD full of serious fanfilms and another one of funny fanfilms. I won't be there on the 22nd though. I leave Utah the day before.

For the moment I believe it is still at Nic's place.
He was just worried that we would have problems if we can't get the films in DVD, but I don't see a problem with that not happening. We may have less films that first planned...but hey...it's all good!

Um... so OK. Er... yeah. Due to some, er... circumstances, um... so...
Awesomeness April will have to become Marvelous May. That is, if I still get to host the fanfilm screenings. See, I kinda didn't realize what part of the month I was in, and um... well, made plans for this upcoming Saturday, not realizing that we had scheduled the event for said day, and well, I'm retarded. It was pointed out to me by a certain close someone that I need to be humble here and admit my mistake, instead of coming up with some lame excuse, and she is (of course) right, so I will humble myself and ask for forgiveness.
The good news is that if we push back the event, we have a better chance of getting more fanfilms on DVD so they can look pristine on my screen. All the better for goodness I say. A little extra time is a good thing in this case.
Any thoughts on the matter?

First, I had nothing to do with the him making other plans...well...in a round about way I did but we won't get into that.
Nic is correct, if we push it back we'll get more fan films on DVD. I've only heard back from one of the film makers anyway.
Plus, since the Aussies are coming into town it looks like we will still have a get together this month were most everyone is coming out! Yippee!!
