Non-SW Related Interests: gadgets, video games (mainly Nintendo games), Air Jordans, basketball (Lakers fan), baseball (SF Giants!), travelling, playing with my dog Oreo!
How did you get started on SW: My parents took me to see ANH in the theaters when i was 2. It was the first movie experience for me.Ever since then I've been hooked! Although my parents never bought me any of the vintage figures once I earned my allowance money I bought any kind of SW related toys that I could afford back then.Name: Kevin or Kev

SW Interests: Take your pick! Both Prequels and OT, a bit of pre-TPM and post-RotJ, but not too much. Reading/writing/reviewing fanfic for the Archive, buying any collectible I lay eyes on, watching the movies repeatedly even though I know every line, lurking around this board, reading all the novels, etc. etc. etc.
Non-SW Interests: Horseback riding, writing, watching movies, sleep (ha! yeah right), Peet's Coffee  , The Phantom of the Opera, the TV show "Lost" (it's friggin addictive), and a billion other things
How I got into Star Wars: My mom loved the OT when she was a teenager, so when it was re-released in theaters in 1997 (special edition), she took me to see all 3 in a row. I initially protested and whined the whole way there because it was a "boy movie," and came out a glittery-eyed, head-over-heels fan. Been that way ever since.

*takes a deeeeep breath* My son and I joined your group awhile back at a Con here in SF. We haven't been active for personal reasons but, would like to, at the very least, begin to come to the monthly meetings, if you'll allow us. 
Please keep us updated as to times and locations of meetings. We're truly sorry about missing the one today at Letterman.

My son, nicknamed the 'Mini-Sith' by online roleplay friends, has been a fan ever since I introduced him to star Wars at about the age of 3 to 4. Didn't want to introduce him sooner he'd have munched on the toys.'

SW Related Interests: Loose POTF 95-Present, collector- small army builder, diorama builder, and loves the movies obviously. I was on the cover of the San Francisco Chronicle on May 19th 2005 for waiting in line for episode 3 and name is printed. I went by Obiwan KeLoeby. I also have 3 FX sabers but think ill wait a while for my next one
Non-SW Related Interests: Very big into music and also playing it. Love to write, bike ride around town, explore, and of course drink blue milk, i mean beer
How did you get started on SW: I was 9 and dad flipped through cable and star wars was on the USA channel. Yep
other then that i remember hearing about you guys at one meeting at virgin megastore in 04 when the OT came out on DVD

Location: Currently Reno Nevada, but hoping my music work will relocate me near the San Francisco area.
SW related interests: Love the soundtracks, the movies, really into Obiwan, Anakin, Jedi Temple and the Council--also interested in the Clone Wars/ Prequel and the Empire era. My favorite characters are Padme, Yoda, Mace Windu, Obiwan, Palpatine, Han Solo, but I'll read just about anything Star Wars. Currently I'm going through all the prequel books--all the Jude Watson series, Dark Horse Clone Wars comics and all the novels set before Episode III.
Non SW related interests: I'm a composer of Ancient Egyptian music and I sing in the language too. I am moving toward making this my full time profession and in the process of creating CDs which I hope are available online to order sometimes this year. Also a fan of LOTR, Harry Potter and love collecting soundtracks.
How did you get started on SW? When I saw ROTJ as a kid, I was in love with Luke Skywalker. I then got in the habit of thinking of people who annoyed me as stormtroopers. Currently when I drive, I like to think of it like I'm in my starship. When I go to my non-music job, I''m like a Jedi who has no choice but to go to Mos Eisley each day. When i am dealing with strong personalities that have high tension in myu music work, then I'm like Padme Amidala who focuses on being the example of peace within all the tension.

Non-SW related interests: I'm majoring in Asian Studies, and I enjoy learning about Asian culture. I am also a big fan of Lord of the Rings. I like read, write, draw, and travel.
How did you get started on SW: My mom introduced A New Hope to me when I was very young (maybe four?). Luke Skywalker was my first crush, and everyone thought it was weird that I would like him and not Han Solo. ^^
