I'm up for Sat, if that's what people want. I'm sure traffic will be hideous either way, but at least for Sat I'll have the afternoon to be stuck in it rather than rushing off after work.

Oooh, and I have a camera myself again; my first digital camera. I'll finally be able to contribute photos. I don't know much of anything about photography beyond point and shoot, though.

Thanks! Any instruction or advice would be much appreciated.
Of course, it would probably also help if I, like, got around to reading the manual. Well, one of these days after my nephews leave...
Back to the subject of the event - can we bring folding chairs, or is it a blanket only type thing? Also, how is parking? Is it anything that might be a problem? I'm not familiar with San Anselmo.

You can bring blankets, Alison. As for folding chairs, I think they're OK as long as they aren't too high as to block anyone's view behind you. I believe the viewing area is on a slope as well. I forgot to ask if you can bring snacks. I'm pretty sure you can, and they also have some small concession stand. If you have any questions, call 415-453-4333. Leave a message, and they'll call back in the next couple of days.

It's like a gun or blaster... Point at your target and shoot. Which also means never take photo lessons from stormtroopers or let them take your picture. Digital cameras are a little different from older film cameras but more versatile and you can shoot virtually as many times as you want if you have a big enough memory card. Also you can pic and choose the pics you want to print and print only the good ones.

Hey, so do we have any updated plans for the event? The show starts at 8pm, how early should we plan to arrive and meet up? And are there any plans beyond just arriving and meeting up?
Silly me... going back to the website, I noticed a small picture up top that includes people in low beach chairs. I think I'll bring blankets and chairs.
