Now that the meeting is postponed, let's get an early start on this by asking: 1) Does everyone want the party before or after Christmas? 2) Do we want it at the same place (the clubhouse at Rachel's and Ming's place)? If we do have it there, how much is the clubhouse rental, Rach?
What date is good for everyone? We also need a back-up date just in case our first pick is booked (Rach, can you or Ming check if any of these are booked already?):
Dec. 8
Dec. 15
Dec. 22
Dec. 29
Please post your preferences to the above.
The final date should be decided on by the end of the meeting next week.

the clubhouse is $95.
I would think the 8th might be easier for folks since the closer to christmas, the more stuff people usually have going on. As soon as we start having a couple of dates, I can check to see if they are still free.

I went ahead and reserved the clubhouse for Dec. 15 since it looked like that was the front runner. If this works for everyone, whoever is coming to the meeting on Saturday can give me their part. The total fee is $95. I am suggesting $5-$10 per person depending on how many people are willing to pitch in. The reservation is not actually confirmed till we give them the money, but the manager will call me if someone else asks about it.

Grrr. I just found out today that my company's holiday party is going to be the evening of the 15th, and unfortunately in a company of only 7 people, it'd be kinda obvious if I missed it.

As was stated at the meeting, please post what you will bring, and be as specific as possible. Don't just say "drinks" or "appetizers", and a good rule of thumb is to bring enough for 12 people.
I think it would be best for finger-type foods, so everyone can nibble on a little bit of everything, leaving a less-likely chance of a ton of leftovers.

We are planning to be there Matt. We are planning to get there at 10 and will be there till about 12:30 because we have to go over to my folks house to cook in the afternoon.
