Hey Kevin, I'm going to be trying to get her autograph for Ming so if you want to plot strategy, let me know. I will probably try to go by capcom on weds night to get a feel for how they are going to do things.

i have two friends who work at capcom and will ask them how i can get a head start in the KK autograph line. they won't be at the con but i'll let u know if they have any inside info.

Just a reminder that online registration for the Supercolossal Fan Race ends Wednesday, July 23 at 9 PM PDT.
This urban clue-solving puzzle race starts at
Thursday, July 24th at 7 PM
under the "Coming Together" mosaic sculpture
at the south end of the San Diego Convention Center (outside Hall H).
Teams of two will be solving clues based on movies, comics, TV shows, and games while roaming around downtown San Diego on foot for a couple hours. What might you need to know? superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, and other geeky genre things. Yup, there'll be some Star Wars stuff ;-) [not much, but it's in there]
First place prize is $200.
Not familiar with downtown San Diego? No problem - all teams will get a handy map of downtown to help them in the race!
I know there's a lot to do during Comic-Con, but don't pass on this unique chance to show off your geeky knowledge in an exciting race for a chance at $200.
If you miss online registration, we will also accept on-site registration prior to the race start time - just bring $20 (entry fee for team of two) and a pen!

another comic con has come and past! this year i concentrated in getting autographs.kristin kruek, hayden pantierre, eliza dushku, joss whedon, terminator sarah connor chronicles cast, and the Laker girls were my treasures for this year. unfortunately most of the con was spent standing in line for the autographs.
i thought that hasbro had a horrible system for buying the exclusives. had to fall in line upstairs at Sails Pavillion to get a ticket with a timeframe to fall in line again to buy their toys. fortunately i was able to buy all the exclusives that i wanted. the only exclusive i passed on was the batman and joker figures and the he-man king grayskull figure.
the starwars panel was the only one i was able to watch and i thought it was pretty bland. other than showing a segment of the clone wars movie there was nothing! at least it wasn't an ad filled panel! i was expecting an announcemnt of c5 but no dice.
all in all comic con was okay.

Yeah, the lines are getting worse every year. Even angelica was commenting on how you have to wait hours in line even for the free stuff. Fortunatly there were not many exclusives I wanted this year so I did not have much shopping. I chose to just walk around and enjoy the sights instead of trying to get any of the free stuff. I did get to see the two panels I wanted to see, Sarah Connor and BSG (especially since it is the last one for bsg) so I was happy about that but that took up most of Saturday. I'm not sure I will go next year because the lines are starting to take the fun out of it. Even Sunday is starting to get crowded. It might be nice to go to a new one next year. It was nice getting to spend time with all of you folks though.

All in all, I enjoyed this CC a lot.
Positives:
-great hotel w/great amenities
-no need for rental car
-got to meet new faces and hung out with some familiar ones
-met Kristin Kreuk
-met Hayden Panetierre
-met Thomas Dekker
-the TRU Midnight Madness event
-won a very exclusive prize at the Indy Fans panel
-went to the "Chuck", "Star Wars", "Indy Fans", "The Directors" panels
-walked by Zachary Levi ("Chuck"), Rick Baker, Gale Anne Hurd, and J.J. Abrams
-finally having an Endor Base group photo
-the slave Leia photo shoot, of course
-got to buy next year's tickets!
-watching "Bridezilla"
Negatives:
-didn't get to see the "Heroes", "Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Terminator: Salvation" panels
-missed Mark Hamill
-missed the "Sarah Connor Chronicles" signing
-not seeing more of you and the GGG guys
-not enough sleep
-no "Dark Knight" props
