	The first meeting of the year will be towards the end of the month, unfortunately, due to myself and other Council members being out of town for the other weekends. I'd say we can have it once again at Metreon after 1 pm if that's OK with everyone. But honestly, I'd like to have a quieter place, since we have so much to talk about, and I'd like for everyone's voice (literally and figuratively) to be heard. I can't stress enough how important attendance is for this and next month's meeting (which will probably only 3 weeks later). As I've stated before, some things were to be addressed at the holiday party, but we didn't get a chance to. The biggest concern is WonderCon, and with Rebel Legion being next to us, as well as Eva having her own booth, it will be a bit of a juggling act when it comes to table shifts, set-up, etc. So I urge everyone if you can to make this and next month's meetings. We need to be on the ball even moreso at WonderCon, as this looks like it will be a trend for upcoming years. 	Matt, I assume you mean Saturday Jan 26. That works for me. Although if it is on Saturday, I won't be able to get there before 2pm. If you guys have to have it earlier than that, I will try to switch my volunteer days that weekend.

	I actually think the January meeting is most important for WonderCon planning. If we have things we want to plan to have ready for the convention we need to get it all discussed and the plans in motion no later than the end of January. If Kevin can't make it on Saturday another idea could always be Sunday (unless Matt and Dale can't do this?). I also think that people should probably mention ideas they have for the convention now so we have time to kind of think about things before the meeting. Matt, if it is OK I'd like to open up this meeting to RL Endor Base members too. I'm not sure if they would want to travel down from Sacramento, but most of us are all Fan Force anyway and since our tables will be together I think we should coordinate some things together. 	I think that would be great, Kathy. We definitely need to get more people's input for WonderCon! Kevin, the 1 pm starting time means we will start at 1 pm, meaning get there before then to park, eat, and socialize. We have too many things to discuss without waiting for people to arrive. 	I will try to make this meeting. Now that I know where the Dublin BART station is, it should be easy. Don't know if I can make Wonder Con this year, altho I will do my best to be there. 	The meeting is marked on my calendar. RL - I agree with Kathy. It would be good to have RL members there, but also good to have a separate discussion time after the FF meeting... something like a separate RL meeting, but with the advantage of having just covered FF issues so coordination is efficient. Wondercon issues - Matt, I think we need to know ahead of time what costs (specific, concrete numbers) are potentially associated with the table, and honestly, I would feel more comfortable if we had a real discussion on benefit vs cost, how many people would commit to contributing funds(to give a per-person cost) and based on that, whether or not to go ahead with some of these things. -----signature----- Taeriel's costume page: http://home.comcast.net/~taeriel/costumes.htm Rebel Legion Endor Base: http://www.endorbase.org

	When I got back from my trip last week Matt told me there was some online form with information about electricity but I can't find it. I've e-mailed wonderCon but not heard back. I will try to call today as I have other questions for them. I know I brought this up at the RL boards but didn't get much response except from Alison. Eva reminded me that it would be fun if we did an activity after the meeting. See a movie, go to dinner, go bowling or ice skating. Something to make our journey to the city a little more fun! 	POWER FOR THE CONVENTION I've checked into the Power situation for the convention. We would need to send a payment for our power by the first week of February. So I hope we can agree that we need to get a yes or no agreement at our meeting as to who will chip in for power and how much they are willing to spend. Apparently the reason the convention charges so much is because of the labor cost of installing power outlets at each table. (probably a union worker deal) In order to power one TV and DVD/VCR we would pay for a single outlet @ $108.20. I'm willing to chip in 20 dollars max, but not more because I will be spending about 200 dollars for all of the promotional materials for Endor Base this year. I would also ask that we could please show video footage of the events that Rebel Legion and Fan Force members have been part of this year since I believe the TV should be used as a tool to help promote our club. I think we should also utilize the TV in some way to show a slide show of photos from both Rebel Legion and Fan Force events. Otherwise, I'm not very inclined to have the TV because frankly, people stop and watch it and fail to actually have to interact with anyone manning our tables. There is also a chance that one of the Star Wars artists will be doing signings at our booth throughout the weekend and I'd hate for the TV to be a distraction from them being able to interact with fans. 	CHARITY RAFFLE I'm also hoping we can discuss the charity raffle for the convention. We have already sent in our program listings stating that Fan Force and Rebel Legion will be doing a charity raffle supporting Cure Autism Now. Matt has been trying to get donations from some liscensed Star Wars distributors with no luck yet. We may very well have to ask for donations from our members for raffle prizes at the meeting. I had another idea... Matt, did you consider contacting Mary Franklin regarding our plans for a raffle?
