Well, I do need a padawan, Ash.  I'm hoping to get my ROTS Anakin done by the time the movie comes out in August. Have you talked to Pam about the costume? I'll be seeing her this Sunday for an event if you want me to mention it to her. There's also a guy who's making my Anakin glove who also makes Twilek stuff:

I'm already working on an event or two for the movie involving the RL and 501st. I've got clones in mind to use - even a Captain Rex I can order around. Obi-Wan is taken care of, as well as Padme(s). Now I just need jedi.
If you ever get it done by Comic-Con, I know a few Anakins who'd love to take a pic with you!
Oh, and did you get my e-mail about the 12" Aayla figure?

Anakin having an apprentice is just a bad idea... Why? Cos the character is a gimick, rather than exploring on the strength of brothers with Obi and Anakin it will just set up a divide esp concerning training of a Padawan and contrasting Anakin and Obi's outlook for the usage of the Force. Also most people will then consider Anakin having the rank of Jedi Master which is false because a Jedi Knight can not ascend to the rank of Master until their first Padawan becomes a Knight. A Padawan calling a Knight "Master" is only an honorary title, which also applies to Initial Learners. Lastly though Ahsoka has to bite it in the end prior to the events of ROTS, so even if there are those who like the character will only end up disappointed cos she dies. It would of made more sense for the Jedi Council assign the apprentice to Obi Wan, esp if they consider Anakin iffy to begin with.
Trying to get the Hutt clans to fight the Republic is ridiculous. The Hutts would love the fact that the can profit with a galaxy in choas with selling weapons, spice, slaves, etc etc etc without the Republic keeping an eye on them as much. Hutt culture is cut throat anyway thus very much mob like. So a family member getting killed of kidnapped is all apart of the game. I'd be like Al Capone declaring war on the US military all the sudden. Also... hutts are hermaphroditic Jabba's got no "son", although they can display either more masculine or feminine qualities. If it's to set up more adversaries for the Jedi then that kinda makes sense but criminal organizations like the Hutts have equal too if not more resources than even the Republic and I doubt they'd call in the Republic to help cos it'd be a sign of weakness.
