Now that he's out of the hospital and making a speedy recovery, David Prowse, the man behind the mask, will be doing an appearance at Pier 39 from Aug. 14 - 17, 11 am - 6 pm. The 501st will be there every day (except Saturday) acting as bodyguards.  Feel free to get autographs, take pictures, or just to say hi. You can bring your own items to get signed, but they will have photos and other items for sale to get signed as well.
He will be just outside Antiquites of California, just before you reach the carousel.

Wish some of the new members were able to make it out to this. I was there Thursday and Dale joined me Sunday. LOTS of people were there, and we had a really diverse bunch of characters today: ANH Vader, TIE Pilot, Biker Scout, two Stomtroopers, and Boba.
Joan, I got you and Richard your autograph and got another one we could use as a prize at WonderCon.
