	I wanted to let you all know that there are two charity screening events of the Firefly movie Serenity coming up in June. Proceeds benefit the charity Equality Now, a group which works to promote gender equality and human rights for women around the world. South Bay Can't Stop the Serenity Screening Sunday, June 17 7:30pm Camera 7 Pruneyard 1875 S. Bascom Ave Campbell tickets: $10 in advance / $15 at the door San Francisco Can't Stop the Serenity Screening Saturday, June 23 8:00pm AMC 14 1000 Van Ness Ave San Francisco tickets: $12 In addition to supporting a very worthwhile charity, both events promise to be a lot of fun, energetic and filled with fans from all over the Bay Area. And hey, it's a chance to see Serenity on the big screen again! Please help pass the word along to friends, family, co-workers, or anyone you think may be interested! On a personal note, I'm helping to organize the south bay event and would really like to see it succeed. So I'd love in particular to see you guys there! 	Oh man, how am I supposed to whip up a couple of Firefly costumes in just a couple of weeks? Guess I can wear the Blue Sun shirt I got at CIV. 	Awesome! I hope you guys are able to make it. I was thinking wishful thoughts about a Firefly costume as well - I've been working on and off on River's green/blue dress from towards the end of the movie for like a year - but I'm swamped enough with other things right now that I won't have time to work on it before the event. 	Reminder - the south bay Serenity screening is tomorrow night! If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, advanced tickets are available online till 11:59pm tonight. After that, tickets are at the door for $15. Oh, and it turns out that there will be a raffle for some cool Firefly stuff! Every ticketholder will get a free raffle ticket. Check out the prizes here.
