All finished with Dark Lord. I really enjoyed it. I was a little annoyed by Vader's apparent incompetence through most of the story but he redeemed himself at the end. Now I'm back into Narnia and reading
The Silver Chair
. Good so far, but I'm kinda sad to know there's only one more book left.

RE: What are you reading right now?
I used to re-read the LotR novels once a year and I've read the first six Dark Tower books at least twice (the first four at maybe 304 times). I tried to go back and re-read Harry Potter, but as much as I enjoyed them the first time, I couldn't get into them again. I don't know, maybe the movies have ruined it for me because that's what I see when I try to read now.

Reread Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone again. Very good the 2nd or 3rd time. Like the movie, the beginning is slow, but once they get the ball rolling it's a good start for the series. Time to reread COS.

Un fortunate that my brother lost COS. But I'm trying to read up and figure out everything about Horcrux's, and what it might be. I love the potter series. I had to put down the Satnd for a while. I might even start LOTR series I've read the Hobbit like 8 times.

I finished CS Lewis'
The Silver Chair
and have the last Narnia book waiting for me at home. When I've finished that and the last collection of Conan stories I don't know what to read.

I'm reading Modesitt's
Towers of the Sunset
and trying to to start anything as I'm going to be travelling next week ands won't be able to bring much. However, since the Holuse Cup game has started, I'll probably be rereading at least parts of all the Harry Potter books.

I finally finished
Midnight Tides
. Prolonged it for 5 reading weeks, not bad! But now I don't have any more Erikson books to read, at least until next year.
Triple Zero
is up next, then
Daughters of Ancients
. . . then I'm going to reread
Gardens of the Moon
. I'll understand it so much better now!

RE: What are you reading right now?
Almost finished with
Titus Groan
, the first of Mervyn Peake’s celebrated
Gormenghast
trilogy, which has thus far been a wondrous experience. Peake’s prose is full of beautiful, poetic depth that constantly elicits a cerebral tension inherent in the lives of all who inhabit the labyrinthine castle setting. Readers most familiar with modern epic fantasists like Martin and Erikson may be too turned off by Peake’s penchant for dwelling on intricate description over overt movements of action, but nonetheless
Titus Groan
stands as a genre-creating masterpiece defined by a gritty, realistic setting filled with characters struggling to exist in a world where isolation, decay, and the quest for power overshadow basic needs of human longing.

I made it to the library finally and picked up the next books in my Turtledove series. So I am currently on Rulers of the Darkness.

RE: What are you reading right now?
Well I finished
Chronciles of Narnia Book 7: The Last Battle
and am at crossroads. Do I go back and finish with Jules Verne's
Mysterious Island
(which, believe it or not, is kinda dull) or do I drop the Sci-fi fantasy habit for a bit and finally read my copies of Huckleberry Fin and Treasure Island?

Now that I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday, I will be starting Eragon tomorrow. I bought the books a little while ago with great anticipation.
