I finished The High King's Tomb. AMAZING, but not much has changed. They still don't know when Karrigan sent Mornhavon to, the wall is still broken, Zachary and Karrigan are still in love, Estora is still hung up on F'ryan, and Zachary and Estora are still getting married. I was really hoping that Estora would run off with Amberhill and that Zachary and Karrigan could get together. So right now I'm dying for the next one

The Uplift War by David Brin. Dolphins and otters and whales, oh my! There's gender-changing bird people too (I'm rather sick of the lack of alienness in most Star Wars species)

I adore that book. The sequel wasn't quite as good, but still worth the read.
I just got a copy of Stephen Colbert's "I Am America (And So Can You)." Absolutely hilarious. I never want it to end.

I'm just about halfway through The Amber Spyglass, book 3 oh His Dark Materials. I started reading these less than a week before the movie came out. These are amazing.

Tomorrow, with hopefully a good night's sleep, I'll look forward to starting on reading a book. My choices are either a first-time read-through of "Gardens of the Moon" by Steven Erikson, or a re-read of "Labyrinth of Evil" by James Luceno.
The last book I read, and finished, was yesterday, with "Soon I Will Be Invincible" by Austin Grossman. (It may have been better, if I haven't read a single comic published after "Watchmen". As it stands, it was a "good" read, but it could've been so much more.)

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
This is one of those books that I wish I'd been completely unfamiliar with before reading. The element of mystery is just not there for me.
