Just getting started on
The End of Honor
, by L.D. Alford. Oddly enough, I couldn't find anyone else who'd ever heard of or read it.

RE: What are you reading right now?
I just read
Twilight
and
New Moon
by
Stephenie Meyers
- in three days!! Because I rushed it I'm reading Twilight again slower just for my free time enjoyment. I'm in the middle of exams so I have forbidden myself to read the next too books till they are over.
I'm also reading a book called
Bird By Bird
by
Anne Lamott
that I got for a history class. She writes about writing basically. SOunds boring but it's actually really good! Funny and witty. Any aspiring writers should read it it's really helpful and interesting.
I haven't read alot of the books mentioned here. Except the Hobbit!! I love that

I'm reading Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. It is very good and it has a tv show out. But that is called Legend of the Seeker.

I liked the first book. The later ones went downhill, but IMO the first was pretty good.

I'll agree that his first one was the best. They went downhill quickly after that, though. And if I ever have any sort of desire to read through them again, all I have to do is read the transcript of one of his chats on his website, and the desire to read anything written by him is cured for another few years.
Currently reading
The Ill-Made Mute
by Cecilia Dart-Thornton. It's going slowly. I never realized how much quicker dialogue could make a book go. Except, that is, when you have one character talking uninterrupted for
two pages

Yeah, Goodkind's characters have monologues that Shakespeare would envy.

RE: What are you reading right now?
Now reading second book of the Percy Jackson series - got all the other books. And I'm also reading "Watchmen." I saw the movie trailer, thought it was totally weird and creepy, but then when I heard that the book was supposed to be the best graphic novel of all time, I thought, "What the hey?" and, being the complete and total nerd that I am, went out and got it.
It's just as weird as the movie trailer. But I'm not that far into it, so we'll see.

RE: What are you reading right now?
I have only read the first Goodkind book and liked it but haven't read any others. I have a version of Debt of Bones I believe it is that had a misprint in the copyrights section. It had the author as being Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time) instead of Goodkind. I am curious to know if it has any value to it since RJ has passed.
Anyway I am currently reading Red Seas Under Red Skies.
I have been really torn up since I own the first two Mistborn novels in paperback I think I am just going to go ahead and wait a year until book 3 releases in pb. I hate having different editions of a series.

Red Seas Under Red Skies is
really
good - even better than The Lies of Lock Lamora, in my opinion. I've been dying for the next book.

I have to say I do like the banner. Anyway I have started to read Stone of Tears. The first book was very good. I read it in
about 5 days.
I still wonder what all the powers of the Con Dar are.

Oh, I love it.
However, I don't remember when I put it up
The art is really fantastic, though.
