I have to take a break from it, today, due to how astonishingly graphic it is, but I'm well into "Infected" by Scott Sigler.

I just got done reading the first three novels of "The Dark Hunter" Series. I like it so far, although the books tend to get boring when the mush starts. The first time it's really fun to read but basically you know it all, except it's different characters.
And now I'm eagerly awaiting J.R. Ward's next book "Lover Enshrined".
One of very few Vampire Series I completely adore. Funny, exciting, compelling and a good deal of mush but even those parts are good.
And this all in between Aaron Allston's Fury.
Sadly, I have to say, I find the book very, very, very boring, which isn't Allston's usual style at all.
But since I want to know what happens to Jacen, I guess I'll have to fight my way through.

And now I'm reading The impossible people by Georgess Mcharque.
I'm really into anything Greek
I was going to suggest...

but you're already ahead of me. I agree with you on the little action bit...but then, I'm so used to SW books. You really might like Hamilton's Mythology. My mum took a class on mythology in high school. Lucky...lol.
What I'm reading:
LotF: Fury Aaron Allston
Mythology
Seabiscuit Laura Hillenbrand (for the sixth time)
Roain <><
Thanks for the sugestion anyways though. Yeah me too. But yo must admit that she describes Ares really well. What with wearing the black armor and such Oh that sounds awesome! I shall try and aquire it!
Yup lucky
I haven't read Seabiscuit, but I watched the movie ( )I'm planning on reading Fury, but mostly because it has Kyle Katarn in it. Like any good fan I've spoilt myself silly on how the whole LOTF series ends, and I'm pretty disapointed.
Right now I'm reading Angel of the Opera by Sam Siciliano.
In it Sherlock Holmes crosses paths with the Phantom of the Opera. Good stuff.

Currently reading the second book in the Twilight series, New Moon. Great so far, Meyer's writing is so addicting.

Just finished Jim Butcher's Storm Front, and it was the best read I've had in years. Next up will probably be The Name of the Wind, from Patrick Rothfuss.

The Name of the Wind is really good. I just finished reading it.

In one word: Brilliant.
It is the best fantasy book I have read in a long time with good characters and an interesting plot combining religion, politics and economics into a well written drama.

Awesome I'm waiting to read it and the second Mistborn book until the third is released. I loved the first one so much that I'd be completely hooked on his writing and have a hard time waiting for the next one.
