Is anyone here a Hellboy or BPRD fan?

Hellboy, for those of you don't know, is a paranormal investigator with some interesting origins. He's a demon, with a red right hand made of stone. There's a series of comics published by Dark Horse comics. BPRD is a sort of spinoff comic arc that takes place in the same universe, with the focus on the rest of the team along with Hellboy, although I have yet to see him in that paticular series.

Anyone reading the Black Flame arc?

I take it you're a fan. wink

I love the Hellboy stuff, although the variations that they sometimes do I don't like as much. BPRD I love.

One of my favorite things about Hellboy is that no matter what the problem is, he responds with pretty much the same way; by punching it.

But the stories are so deep with with paranormal lore and mythicism. Every tale is elaboritlly crafted after ancient folk lore or Cthulu mythos that even though the series primary focus isn't on action, it never feels lacking.

Abe Sabian is my favorite member of the BPRD. He's just so badass.

'Tril, I only managed to get a couple of issues of "The Black Flame" how did Roger buy it...again?

He got caught in an explosion. Only his torso, part of his head and one of his arms is what's left, but they still think that they can save him.
