Don't bite me without a dollop of pepper for saying this, but it looks to me like an American lounge. We have the Aurealis award too! (Which I consider to be seriously debatable; two books of shocking quality made finalist and winner. I'm in communications with the stage handlers to find out how). Can the lounge name be more internat friendly?

I don't see a need to turn everything into a national thing. Awards given to Sci Fi authors based on how great their books are... I don't see a nationality there. It's like complaining that the Nobel Prize comes out of Europe. It's the recognition that counts. The German Echo awards are as cool as the Grammies. As for the consolation, I couldn't care less how "American" someone is. If you take a look at my profile you will see that I live in Germany. I guess I think the thing that needs internationalization here is your perspective on these awards. They are widely (and internationally) recognized as some of the highest honors bestowed upon Sci Fi authors.
