Doomsday won once. After that, Superman beat him everytime.
Which is quite bizarre, since Doomsday should've evolved beyond being hurt by Superman's blows.

In his first encounter after their mutual resurrection, Clark got beat fighting toe to toe again. He won thanks to Linear Men technology which took him to the end of time, something he couldn't survive. Clark uses brains and not brawn to win. Clark uses brains again, this time to separate Brainiac from Doomsday, who brought him back from the end of time and then trap him in the JLA transporter. We know that Imperiex killed Doomsday and quite easily at that. It was Jeph Loeb who came up with Superman no longer being afraid of Doomsday and thus being strong enough to beat him down. But then, Loeb's been known for doing these things in his stories. There's not a real conclusive fight during "In The Name Of Gog". We do see the two Kals beat Doomsday in a matter of moments, with Kal-L being strong enough to batter him down.
Dan Jurgens was consistant, Jeph Loeb not so much.

Yeah but if he does evolve enough he will be able to take sups down...also what about another Kryptonian? And here's a question how many of you think sups should be immune to his Kryptonite weakness after all he's been exposed to it more times then I can count now.

I don't think you can develop an immunity to a form of radiation...which I understand to be the case for Kal-el and Kryptonite.

Actually I belive you can build up an immunity to nearly anything as long as you give your body a chance to do it...not to mention it's a comic/fictional character who gets his power from Solar Radiation So I'd think he might be able to do just that.

Maybe you're right. I don't know enough about the Superman-verse. I just thought that since Kryptonite is radioactive to Kryptonians but harmless to humans, that Kal would never be able to become immune to its effects. Perhaps, darth-sinister can clear this up...at least for me.

Well Kryptonite is harmful to humans it actually can cause cancer with prolong exposure...Other effects have also been seen one such was the Kryptoniteman.

Pre-Crisis, a story was done where Superboy/Kal-El built up an immunity to Green Kryptonite, but that didn't last and he was affected once again. In "Kingdom Come", Lex claims that Superman is now immune to Kryptonite. Though that's an Elseworlds which has now become Earth-22. When the original multiverse existed, Kryptonians were immune to the Kryptonite of another Earth. Power Girl isn't because she has merged into the merged Earth and can be affected. Currently Green Kryptonite affects him, but it doesn't cripple him as quickly as before. Unless he is blasted by it constantly in an energy form or shot with Kryptonite bullets. Exposure to yellow and possibly blue solar energy, will fight against Kryptonite. According to Action Comics Annual #10, Lex stated that Green Kryptonite causes the yellow solar energy in his body to be expelled as the radiation sits within his body. Exposure to yellow solar energy once the Kryptonite is no longer near him, will return him to good health.
Green Kryptonite as a solid can make people sick over time. If one is blasted by Green Kryptonite directly in an energy form, they'll suffer radiation burns. Prolonged exposure can kill them just as normal radiation does to humans. And yes, the Kryptonite Man and Conduit were both examples of humans infected with Kryptonite and both became so much more. Both were metahumans who when exposed to a sufficent amount, could expell it from their bodies. The Kryptonite became a being of pure Green Kryptonite. Conduit became a guy who with some powerful technology, could channel it out of his body while looking largely normal.
Red, Gold and Blue have not been tested on humans.

A Kryptonite meteor did show up in "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies". It was too dangerous to send anyone up to destroy it, except for Captain Atom, a Metahuman who used quantum energy and wore a containment suit. When he destroyed the meteor, it changed much of the Kryptonite into different colors, sent him to Earth-50 and free Kara Zor-El's ship which had impacted inside of it when Krypton blew. Her ship was lead-lined, which allowed her to survive. The Kryptonite fragments landed on Earth.
Red Kryptonite causes unpredictable results, lasting about 48 hours. Nothing is ever repeated when exposed. A Kryptonian could lose control of their powers or become mutated in some form or fashion. In certain media, it allows for one to become evil or apathetic. Artifical Red Kryptonite created by Batman causes intense pain, as it overloads their solar cells, before they pass out.
Black Kryptonite is a creation of Darkseid. It caused Supergirl to split in two, resulting in a good Supergirl and an evil, black suited Supergirl. It has not been used on Superman in the comics, nor has it been mentioned since "Supergirl: Power".
Gold Kryptonite robs a Kryptonian of their powers permanantly. Thus far, it has yet to be used Post "Infinite Crisis", but it will most likely in Action Comics Annual #11, the conclusion of "Last Son". Metallo has it as one of his four main power cells, allowing him to rotate between the four main colors.
Blue Kryptonite weakens and kills Bizarro and Bizarro duplicates. Lex used a piece to torture and gain control over Bizarro. He installed a piece in Metallo, most likely to keep Bizarro in line. It has no affects on Kryptonians.
Jewel Kryptonite allows for a Phantom Zoner to have a telepathic link to the outside world. It has been mention since "Infinite Crisis", but not seen. It came from Krypton's Jewel Mountians.

Alright I thought Blue K healed Kryptonians or at lest null in void the other K's effects....also is white K the most deadly of Kryptonites?

I'll PM you with the types of Kryptonite, so we don't derail this thread too much.
