Series of Unfortunate Events, yes. I have been a fanatic of those since the sixth or seventh book came out. Seventh Tower, no. What's it about, and is it fast paced? Lately my attention span has been so small that it's a miracle that I can sit at the computer for so long...

Seventh Tower is very fast pased! it's like a mix of Narnia, Star Wars, and something completely new. I'm on the 4th book right now. they're very good! written by Garth Nix, and put out by Lucasbooks, if you're interested.

Garth Nix... Sounds familiar. I may try them, but I have so many books that I am wanting to read that I should probably wait.

I just finished The Lost Colony, and I have to say...wow! The best so far in the series.

Urgh. Sorry, but I tried to read an AF book once upon a time, and I nearly died of dislike for it. The whole writing style never really "spoke" to me, as it were. Hm, my loss, I guess, so many people seem to like it, but I am certainly not one of them.

So, has anyone picked up The Time Paradox yet? I bought it but I haven't started (saving it for a 10 hour long flight I have to take in two weeks) but if it's anything like the last one it'll be great.

There are six now. The Lost Colony (which was by far the best in the series) came out last year and The Time Paradox came out last month.

I may pick them back up again, but I lost interest and stopped paying attention. Do you know how many are planned for the series?

I dunno. But I know Eoin is doing more based on comments he made.
But lemme guess, you quit after the fourth book? Because I thought it was horrible. Book five is excellent, though.

Yeah I did. Not so much because it wasn't great as I just lost interest and got busy with school stuff. It was one of those where I liked the series, but not enough to keep up with it.

Well book five is epic, and from what I've heard, so is book six. So you should continue the series.
