There's also the Secret Invasion Saga one-shot which you can pick up for free at any comic book store.
This will be a big money maker with all the tie-ins. Anyone else planning on following this? Will the Skrulls succeed? I'm curious as to which of the big name heroes (if any) will be revealed as Skrull.
Here is the revealed list so far of heroes being revealed as Skrulls:

My concern with Secret Invasion is that no one "major" will be a Skrull. I expect some random C and D listers sure, but they've already said multiple times that guys like Cap and Iron Man are (or were not) Skrulls.

If there's one hero who isn't a Skrull, it's Nova. I'll assume sarcasm is involved.
Hopefully, Spider-Man and Mary Jane are both Skrulls, and the real ones are just in Cryo-stasis somewhere.

Nah. MJ and Spidey are, unfortunately, exactly as Q wants them to be. That's my guess anyway.
Really, I'll be picking this one, as most superhero comics, up in trades. Speaking of which, they really screwed up on the WWH collections. The way they're collected makes no sense. And why'd the cancel the nice HC that would've looked so pretty next to Planet Hulk? Which has nothing to do with this thread, and is rhetorical anyway.
So. Secret Invasion. . . don't really care that much, but I'll follow it in trades.

I'm actually very interested in Secret Invasion. Mainly because Bendis has been planning it for so long. It's been in the works as far back as New Avengers #1 and I'm excited to see where Bendis is gonna take it.

I can't actually say I'm at all interested. Maybe it's just my slow decline in Marvel titles, over to DC. DC just seems far more interesting these days. I read the cosmic stuff, I read Cap, I read the Ultimates and I read Astonishing X-Men. That's it for Marvel for me.

I trust Iron Man, really. That's about it. There's suppposed to be a Skrull on the Mighty Avengerws, but I couldn't care who except for Iron man or Ares. They're the only things keeping me reading that comic.

Here's my take on the whole "event".
Outside of the Skrulls having infiltrated our super-hero universe, what's the big deal? When was the last time ANYONE really regarded the Skrulls as a serious threat? Heck, I even consider the Super-Skrull, one of their more powerful members, to be a bit of a joke.
I just don't buy into the invasion angle, because you'd have to have a legit threat to really fear invasion from.
