I agree, the covers are excellent. Simple striking images. Literally about 50% of the people I know who are reading the series are reading them due to the covers.

Just like me.  I passed the kiddie section at my bookstore and stopped only because I saw these beautiful covers. And after reading the back of the book the story intrigued me. And I've been hooked ever since.

Ah, the power of cover art. Ain't it lovely? It's always great when a good book has a great cover. On the other hand, it's sad when a not-so-great book has a great cover because then you're disappointed.

Exactly. I'll admit that I wasn't attracted by the covers (didn't have time to be, the first time I saw it was when my friend handed me her copy and told me to read it). But I've found great books due to cover art, and sadly some equally amazing books have horrible cover art.

I judge books by the cover sometimes as well...that and the title...
yeah it's a bad thing to do but I can't help it
BTW I think that whoever (I'm too lazy to go look!!!) suspected what Bella's talent will be as changing vamps to humans might be right...if so that would be awesome

I just started reading the series Tuesday and just finished the 2nd book here at work. Starting to feel a bit twitchy and wanting to read the third book. It's been a long time, well a year really, since a series has put me in I can't put it down tailspin. I'm staying spoiler free till Breaking Dawn! I did it for Deathly Hallows and I can do it for Edward.

I just finished Eclispe. Not the special edition or anything so now I'm twitchy for that first chapter. I did however read the first chapter for Midnight Sun earlier today and let me just say, I can't wait for Edwards prespective of things. It was amazing. Tomorrow I go to B&N to read the first chapter and then Friday I buy all the books so I can re-read them before August 2nd. lol

Daughter happened to find ther preview for the movie and it intrigued her. Last Thirsday we were at B&N and she picked up the first two books. Two days later when she was done with the first I started and after leaving work went to get the third. We read all three in a matter of days and love them.
Though she is Team Edward and I am Team Jacob. 
Lot's of fun. Cheesy fanfic type of the best kind.

Last year I read all of the Harry Potter books for the first time in April. And I did fine until the day before, I struggled but I made it. I imagine it will be the same way with Breaking Dawn. I'll be fine till the day before.
The only thing I suggest staying away from there is a Stephaine Myers FAQ I read on I think imdb.com or it was Amazon and it gives away some things that I wish I was left in the dark about lol.
And I'm very Team Edward!!
